Wonderful friendly owners Carolyn & Gary who made you feel very welcome on arrival. Rooms clean, comfortable and quiet. Memories of my childhood holidays with breakfast delivered via the hatch and a wonderful bright sign out front . Central to everything. We will be back 😊

Telephoned late afternoon enquiring for a room that night for my son who would be checking in late. Gary was great and booking my son in effortless. Details for late check in texted to my son and myself. Little orange juice awaited his arrival and was much appreciated. My son said was comfy bed, lovely bedding and nice utility pack and very clean. Thank you for your assistance Gary. 😊😊👌

Our stay began with a cheery welcome on a hot day, and walking in to our already cool and bright room. Everything had been thought of for a wonderfully comfortable time at The Oval Motel. Clean, quiet, great location and great night’s sleep. Can’t recommend too highly. We will definitely be back to stay at The Oval 😊😊. Gary was kind enough to ring and let me know my lost earring had been found. So grateful, thanks heaps.

This room is good for people going on road trips, the rooms are clean and can fit up to 4 people.

The best motel owners anywhere in Australia! Great service, always helpful and awesome location close to everything in Bendigo. The ONLY place we stay in Central Victoria.

We can’t recommend the Oval highly enough. The owners really make us feel welcome each time we stay. The rooms and service are faultless! A definite thumbs up.

From the minute you walk in your made to feel at home, great price, heater was turned on, room nice and warm, this is an older motel but is in very good condition, its old school with all the modern touches, got signed up to the oval club, free stubby holder and free drink of your choice from the fridge, highly recommended this motel.

What a fantastic motel, we stayed her last night the owners are friendly, the rooms are super clean, very cheap drinks to buy, we ordered a hot breakfast very reasonably priced and was very yummy … Thank you we will be back.

A great place to stay, close to lots of local attractions, The owners made us feel very welcome. We stayed over the new year period and had the best view of the fireworks that are let off just across the road.

This motel is a gem. In spite of it being an older-looking motel, the owners had spruced up my room which had a very comfortable bed and modern, tasteful bed linen, cushions etc. The shower had plenty of hot water at a good pressure and was easy to adjust. Towels (big fluffy bath sheets) were new and nice to use. Owner, Wendy, gave me a warm welcome on arrival and provided information about the nearby cathedral. She also suggested dinner at the nearby Old Boundary Hotel, which was an excellent recommendation. The room was quiet and I slept very well. It was excellent value for money and I will definitely stay there again.

Very comfortable room and environment. Proprietors are extremely friendly and are keen to ensure your stay is what you want. Not noisy, close to the main shopping and arts centres.

A great motel with friendly staff. I like the refurbishment and love the fact that the room heater was on for my arrival, especially as it was in winter. The room was serviced daily. Would definetely stay again.

A hidden gem in the heart of Bendigo. Exceptionally clean, recently updated well appointed rooms. Excellent Wi-Fi readily accessible. I was greeted by a very welcoming staff who readily attended to any of my needs. Excellent location — Easy walking distance to restaurants, shop, medical facilities. Well serviced by local bus lines. Will I stay there again? Of course I will.

It is what it is an old motel with a good location nicely renovated rooms that are comfortable and well equipped… Definitely not pretending to be 5 star but providing a great stay with what they have…

A very warm feeling like home! Very nice owners and very clean rooms. All drinks and food are very fairly priced:) I would live here no worries and do recomend others to stay… good value.

We stayed at the Oval Motel when we went to c Shen Yun at the Ulumbarra Theatre which is walking distance. The show was excellent & so was the Motel accommodation, all the staff are pleasant, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable with so many pillows, hot shower & the Motel breakfast was the best we have had for a long time. Well done to the owners & the excellent staff, definitely staying again on the next Bendigo trip.
