The location is very easy to find off the highway. The employees were friendly and helpful, though when we arrived they were having trouble with their printers. The rooms were not very clean. There was dust on everything. There were stains on the comforters and the shower curtain. The bed and pillows smelled like bleach. I wonder if they just spray everything with bleach instead of actually washing it. I didn't raise a stink about it because we were only staying one night and I had my own pillow and blankets in the car but we will not be staying there again.

They lost a star due to the fact that they are in dire need of paint throughout the hotel. Especially around the door frames both inside and out. I did not like the fact that I was put on the second floor after requesting a ground floor. Apparently Weekly's get the ground floors and paying customers for two or three days get the second floor. Was not happy about that!

Its very quiet… clean … service is efficient and pleasant… not to mention affordable and by EVERYTHING for quaint overnight stay.

This hotel needs to be updated. The mattresses were old, worn out and uncomfortable. The wall unit was noisy and didn't do a very good job of regulating room temperature. However, it was clean and affordable.

Honestly wish I would have read reviews BEFORE staying. I had to use my credit card to check in, when I called the next day they double charged me. I called the inn and rather then them refunding my money, they took another 176.00 off.! Room had a musky mildew smell, no remote, broken toilet. This place needs cleaned up.

I wish I could leave separate reviews for the check-in process and for the room, as they were very different experiences. According to the website check-in is after 4:00 PM. We arrived at 4:05 to find the door locked with a sign that said Be Right Back. We ended up waiting for an hour before the door was opened. The guy at the front desk was very friendly and explained that he had been instructed to clean rooms, even though that was going to leave the front desk unattended. It was clear the problem wasn't his fault, yet he still apologized and was very helpful. I don't know if they were short-staffed or what, but clearly the hotel needs some work in the management department. The room itself was great. It was clean and comfortable. There were minor signs of wear that you'd expect to see anywhere. I did notice a hole in the sheet, which wasn't a big deal to me, but realistically that should have been replaced. Overall, though, I was pleased with the room and would be happy to stay there again, but only if I can get checked in when I arrive instead of sitting around waiting for someone.

Staff was nice and room was clean. That's about as far as that goes. I expected from other reviews that it was run down, but this was more like an apocolypse. Did not have toilet seat. There was a wide gap under the door and when the whether turned freezing cold, so did we. Had to push/pull really hard on he door to get it to latch. Breakfast was horrible. Egg, was it egg? Sausage tasted rancid. Pressed for apple juice and got water. The orange juice fared slightly better. This could just be me being picky, but the waffle had too much baking soda.

Best thing I can say is the people that work here have been extremely nice. Probably the nicest at any hotel I have stayed at.

Do not stay here. Whoever has had a lovely experience at this hotel has GOT to be kidding. This place is complete GARBAGE. My company has housed us here twice now and both experiences have been heinous. An unsafe, unclean location and a TOTALLY unprofessional front desk staff (the woman checking me in had on half of a shirt and was toying with her phone the whole time, eventually telling me how her brother was shot and killed a few years ago…?!? ). This place has no fitness center (as is stated online), puts you in dark, smelly, and dismal rooms with lights that don’t work, and has sketchy people lurking around the parking lot. Please pay more to stay elsewhere. I wish I could have.

Beds were stained, had dead bugs, and clumps of hair. One room smelled like death and the light didn't work. Next room had a large white stain on the carpet and both beds had large stains on them. Third room was infested with bugs. Not to mention the third room had EXPOSED WIRES OVER THE SHOWER. All 3 rooms were not up to code in one way or the other. The Wi-Fi is a joke, cuts out every 2 minutes. All in all a pretty good place to stay the night… If you're a cockroach.

Room is clean, so are the linens & towels. Mini fridge & microwave in the room. Updated nice flat screen TV. AC nice and cold. Very satisfied with coming here. Only reason I didn't give 5 star was the price, $95.

Front desk was curtious. Bathroom and linens were clean. Get the absolute best price booking online even if you are standing in the lobby. Quiet area. Not a luxury hotel but you cannot beat the price if you need a place to cleanup and sleep. I've stayed here several times when visiting Lexington. Always had the same experience with each visit.

The price was cheap. But you get what you pay for. Upon getting into the room, there was a cockroach on the pillow. I then requested a new room. The woman that was at the front desk was friendly and gave me a new room. The door on the new room did not close properly unless you slammed shut. There was also a note next to the door stating to make sure you locked the door for your safety leading me to believe that the hotel was not in a very safe area. I proceeded to have my reservation cancelled and looked for a nicer hotel to stay at.

Very nice upgrade on rooms! Satisfied with every stay! Staff very friendly and makes sure you have everything you need! Definitely recommend this location!

I requested 2 beds but got one queen (with a king headboard) for me and 15 year old son. The AC was off in the room in mid July so the room was HOT. The refrigerator didn't work. The room was not very clean and had peeling wallpaper. The ceiling had been patched in multiple places. This is NOT a 2.5 star hotel that Priceline states it is. The manager was not available to speak with, nor did he call to discuss. The front desk staff is very nice, though.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place was disgusting and totally unsafe. My room had cigarette burns in the bedding, floors were atrocious. My door had been kicked down at one point. As was my friends. This place should be shut down. It is not taken care of and do not stay here due to the sheer fact you may get extremely ill, or have someone pounding on your door. You can tell this place is a crack den.

I've stayed here several times over the years and it's never been a five star experience, but it's reached a level now that insures that I won't be back. My wife wouldn't have stayed in the room I was given last night, but I was in town this trip for work and had been up since 4am and just wanted sleep. The first thing I saw when I walked in the door was the mini fridge and microwave sitting on an ironing board instead of a table. This not only looked dangerous but was just plain rediculous to me. I tried to plug in my phone charger and the electric outlet was broken and looked pretty dangerous. The lamp by the TV was not working, and neither was the one by the window. The one by the TV was also missing its shade. It was almost like this room had been stolen from to fix other rooms. I've attached pics to show everything I've described, including the headboard for the bed that had fallen off the wall and was just left that way. This place may be cheap but I recommend spending more and going across the street.

Great place for a motel they are going through a few renovations but for how old it is they have kept it well maintained plus full size refrigerators. HD 1080p tvs and clean rooms. What more can you ask for, for such a low price. Manager was laid back and was very helpful if needed help on finding my way around town.

The room was clean. The bed was clean. The place could use a makeover, but for a quick overnight stay, it was just fine.

I had a very bad experience staying in quality inn northwest, Lexington. The receptionist gave us the room that was not even cleaned. When I entered the room, there was garbage over the carpet and the sheets were not laid out properly, it was very obvious that some one has stayed before us. The room was dirty, the sheets were not cleaned. The room was smelly too.

We booked a smoking room for the night and as experienced in the hotel stays as we are we know to expect ashtray smelling rooms, well ours, smelled like a bucket of cat piss was dumped in the room prior to us being there. The front desk guy switched our rooms thankfully. I asked if there was coffee in the morning (roughly 345 am) and he assured me there was. Well I went up there and the front desk dude had not one pot of coffee and when I asked if he maybe had some brewing he said he hadn't had the chance to because he was so busy… At 345!?! Bro your laptop was sitting on the table on YouTube. Whatever I guess right?

I'm a service technician. I was visiting to unlock a car for a customer. I only saw the rooms from the doorway but they looked nice. The grounds were also fairly clean.

I checked in on the 27, from a 2 party I clearly ask the guy was it a outside hotel he said no… I pull up to this place I almost cried. I stop my car and lock doors. I call the 2 party back and told them if they don't cancel my other two nights I'm reporting my card stolen. People walking around hotel as if they live there. So I checked in for the one night since they charge my card… why were my room in the very back. Women's walking around. I go in my room carpet had stains, room smell mildew, toilet was running, TV was static, bed look horrible. Pull covers back bef was old had holes in them… you couldn't pay me to sleep in that bed… so I ended up leaving going to another room. I rate them 5 zero stars, I wouldn't recommend to a homeless person… and that's all folks…

The rooms were a bit worn but clean, they were well laid out, and I enjoyed the convenience of the small fridge and microwave. The location leaves a little to be desired, but the pool was great, and the gentleman in the office was very nice.

I gave one star otherwise I could not comment… I tried to book everywhere. This was our last option due to a local event. Traveling 8+ hours after a week stay in tenn. This was it. 2 adults 5 kids… with it being the only vacancy… I didnt expect the hilton. However I also never expected. Getting 2 rooms and having all these issues. The light switch shocked one of my children. One bed had cigarette burn holes in the sheets with the white comforter wearing a fresh unwashed blood stain… and a huge one on the floor. Air conditioner barely works. Room smells. Lamp shades and arms falling down. It just looks like a nasty flop house… desk service couldnt offer any fresh linnens until the houskwepers come in the morning… bathroom is clean but ceiling might fall in soon. Damage above… pool was a nice hit for everyone but is falling apart. Be carefull! I think it needs a health inspector to come in.

Horrible place all the way around! We had just stayed at the Quality Inn at Louisville KY and were very pleased so we booked this place for 2 days thinking it would be the same… boy were we wrong. We should have read the reviews but didn't and also we got there after 6pm so my card was going to be charged no matter what so we thought we would try it. This place DOES NOT look like the other Quality Inns. It's very old. The first thing was I tried conversing with the guy behind the counter who was checking me in as I think thats nice to do. He never spoke back to me but only gave me the 2 room keys… very rude! We get up to the door and our keys wont work so then this guy (who wasn't from the front desk) just walks toward us and holds his hand out to give him the cards. He spoke hardly any english as I was asking who he was he responded "house keeping" followed by him talking in another language forever. Of which we could not understand. He brings the cards back and it takes him forever to get in the door as he kept trying the keys fast, slow, switching from one way to another. Well we finally get in and immediately my wife says "it smells like cat urine". I noticed also the long metal latch on the door had been broken off as someone had busted in the place (who knows why). Next my wife's sheets were badly stained and mine had 2 cigarette burns at the top by the pillows. The place was just shady with lots of partiers and we just felt like we couldn't relax.

Bad customer service. The gentleman at the reception desk could care less about the customer. Inquired about vacancy and rate and gave us a much higher price than the one listed on the site. We asked… why? … He said he didnt know and he left it at that… Why should I give this type of business my money.

This was my third stay at this facility. Affordable and nicer than what you would expect for the cost!

Old, dated room. Not a well maintained hotel. Room smells musty. Stains on bed sheets. Possible mold in room. Not worth the savings, go elsewhere.

Several things in the room were not functioning, the phone, the sink, two of the lights. Staff seemed helpful to a degree but for one night it wasn't worth the argument. Very overpriced for what it was.

Got up this morning whit a roach on the tv. The guy at the front desk just told me to have a nice day.

We booked through Expedia for one night on October 24th, 2015. We decided to drive down to Lexington for the night from Ohio. I knew it wasn't the Hilton, but for a night I didn't think it mattered. The hotel is older, and the rooms need a really good scrubbing, or maybe a complete makeover. We stayed on the first floor in the back towards the right of the driveway. Before bringing in our things I wanted to check for bed bugs. I pulled all the covers back, and the box springs are quite dirty, and old. The mattresses are old stained and hard, but I DIDN'T see any evidence of bed bugs. The room itself is old, stains on the walls, the arm lock was missing on the top of the door. The carpet was older, but it was decent looking. I did like the tall fridge/freezer combo, and the microwave was newer. The bathroom sink area was nice, with a small coffee maker, blow dryer, and there's even a regular size ironing board with iron to use. The shower was older, but clean, no mold, or ring around the tub. My biggest complaint was the missing metal tack strip from the bathroom doorway. My husband stepped on it with his bare feet, and the nails with through his foot. He was not happy, and called the front desk which they sent someone 20 min later with band aids, and an apology. They came in and looked at the area, but didn't offer a solution. We ended up putting down a folded up towel, so we didn't end up stepping on it and getting stabbed again.

The room stank, the bathroom fan was not working, the coffe pot was nasty with crud. When I spoke to front desk they offered to move me, which I did and the next room smelled worse. On top of that the tub had rusty grime all around it. I slept on top of the bed wrapped in a sheet with my t shirt from the day laying over my pillow! I was Disgusted! Ill never go back!

Unbelievable! Stink bugs everywhere, and the front desk guy said there is nothing they can do about it.

Would not allow me to book a room because I'm under 21 citing something about underage drinking. I don't drink and I find it disrespectful that they would assume so.

Some Might freak out, when you drive up. Seems a bit old, looks like it needs some paint, the door on the left side of the driveway looks like a storage room with and aging piece of paper pointing across the driveway. The door to the main lobby is real worm aluminum. Hmm. Where am I going? The front desk is like any other front desk, nice counter, free newspapers and the ever present little flyer cards tof stuff in the area. The clerk was beyond friendly and polite and helpful and open with opinions. I needed an opinion on the kentucky derby, which was the following day. I got a lot of opinion on that one. Back to the hotel. The entry into the lot and rooms goes under an arch and the asphalt is worn. OK not looking too good, but keep your eye on the ball. I go to the room and find a huge (at least 42 inch) tv. A fridge / freezer that I do not have to unplug because it is noisy, a microwave, granite counters and bath. I wonderful cooler that is quite and easy to operate. Well The room is where I spent my time and it was very nice. Inside. The road noise is constant, so if that bothers you move on. For me — nothing interupts my sleep, so I was fine. Your call — Enjoy.

Very good value. Nice beds and beding. Decent breakfast with yummy bacon and half and half for coffe. I will stay here next time I pass through town. I've saved this hotel in my Google map My Places.

Not bad, not great either. Place is rather run down, but the service is friendly and helpful.

Basic room. No complaints. Clean. Staff was friendly. Fridge. Microwave. Complimentary soap lotion shampoo and coffee. If youre looking for a cheap Place to stay for the night this is a good selection.

If you're on a budget and looking for a room for the night, this is a great place to stay. Friendly staff and great rooms. It is a step above the rest for sure.

The room was immaculate, the beds were comfortable and we were even provided a microwave and a large fridge, (which is pretty good for how much we paid! ) We had to leave in a hurry and booked last minute. The staff was very accommodating and provided whatever toiletries and things we had forgotten as a courtesy. The pool was very clean, and since we were here during summer, made good use of it. The complimentary breakfast was satisfying as well. We will definitely be visiting this facility again, should we ever decide to visit Lexington again.

DO NOT STAY HERE! They have bed bugs! It was filthy! We refused to stay there! We are demanding a refund! My boyfriend took pictures of them and showed them to the front desk and all they did was offer us another room. No thank you.
