Kinda dated, dirty walls & tiled areas and wash basin. Shower curtain on a rusty old rail which also causes the whole floor to flood. The only best part is a very comfy bed, TV and Split system.

Terrible policie around Corona Virus trying to take advantage of people when they have no control over the situation.

Turning down a truck driver saying he could not afford it, disgusting, dont forget without trucks Australia stops, shame on you.

Absolutely disgusting to find out that you turned away a customer because he was a truck driver! How dare you say he can’t afford to stay there because he is a TRUCK DRIVER! That is discrimination!

The owners went above and beyond to help our every need. The breakfast room and breakfast was also really good for our large group with kids.

Very out dated and in need of some basic renovations mold and mildew in the bathroom with cracks in the wall from the bathroom to the main living area. Not sure how clean the room is as everything is worn down and old. The heater / aircon is not even close to a acceptable standard leaving the room cold for hours after turning it on.

We had booked for a couple of nights but after half an hour we decided the place was not for us and we left! … the whole place is in dire need of an overhaul/update and is very depressing… even though it’s cheap accommodation they could do SO MUCH BETTER! … would not recommend…

This motel's room was neat a clean only problem high steps to door. The breakfast room was very neat and clean. It was good to have a continental breakfast included in what was a very good budget price. The staff were very helpful and professional also friendly.

The room was too small and smelt musty, and the shower access was only 60 cm wide. Breakfast included but served from backyard tin shed. Would not recommend.

Wouldn't ever stay here again, absolutely disgusting. Had to remake the bed with sheets that didn't fit. Electric power points extremely dangerous and not fixed properly. The step from the footpath into the room is extremely high and dangerous. Not disabled friendly at all.

Upon arrival you find out to get your complimentary continental breakfast You must walk down to a filthy shed at back of property. Not great when your disabled and can't walk that far!. Then you get to your room only to find a step so big it's almost impossible to actually get into the room. Then you have to remake your bed with the dirty sheets that are on it because they are around the wrong way. And BEFORE you put any of you things done anywhere… wipe the counter or put one of the only towels down first. Room booked for two adults but only one set towels (unless you count the ones on the bathroom floor bordering the shower area because there is NO shower base). EVERYTHING FILTHY-bedding, furniture, benches and tiny table, even the kettle. I've stayed in some horrid places in my time but this tops them. 3 words sum it up… JUST A DUMP! #

The location was good. The problem was we stayed on a typical cold winter night in Ballarat. The heater in the room barely took the chill off the air. There were electric blankets fitted to all 6 beds but only 3 of these actually worked, rwo had damaged power prongs and were just plain dangerous. The shower was most bizarre, the head was positioned to the far side of the shower space and meant showering with the curtain constantly clinging to one. Mattresses were well past their replace by date. Whole room was pretty dated and needed a good refresh, the wind pushed around the room door and added to the poor heaters impossible task of trying to heat the room.

An older Motel, Very clean room, room a little on the small side. Everything worked OK. Great free help your self breakfast. We would go back.

Basic rooms that are quite tired and the pillows and beds are pretty hard. However they are clean. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Really good value for money. Not a five star hotel but best accommodation I found for less than $100.

Cobwebs on lights. Big crack in cornice of the room. Electric blanket only half side working. Freezer had frozen up. Heater barely working. Dust on top of freezer. Chips under the double bed. Bugs in light fittings. Comfortable beds lol. Not worth the money.

Great price. But probably not worth it as our room was run down and needs a revamp. Oh and did I say that it had NO smoke alarms ether! Parking needs to be sorted out better and lawns and gardens needs work too.

Stayed 5 nights. Well priced and clean, close to bus and local shops. It's my go-to Ballarat motel, every time. Owners are lovely.

Good. Friendly and helpful reception lady. Motel clean and room cleaned daily. Breakfast and internet included in price. Don't expect the Ritz property is not young. Not far from city centre.

Very basic room with a dead shumshed fly above the middle of the light fixture above the bed. Good hot shower.

Just arrived after a last minute booking. Very friendly and warm welcome. The complex is an older style but the rooms are spotlessly clean and stocked with lots of towels, tea, coffee etc etc. The perfect place to stay on a budget. This will be my regular stop from now on. Thank you.

Made the booking via the net. Just goes to prove you can't believe everything you read and pictures tell a thousand lies. This place is ancient, seriously run down and nothing even close to their self description. If you are looking for a comfortable pleasant nights rest don't go here it is only suitable for travelling Reps who are going from some place to some place and are not fussy where they sleep. It is only half a step up from sleeping in your car. All hail to the man in the visitors information center in Ballarat who took the time and trouble to locate a beautiful alternative for us (school holidays notwithstanding). Not in his job description I'll bet but he went the extra mile anyway.

Great for good cheap accommodation in Ballarat. We were well looked after, even better than some of the more expensive motels we have stayed in the past. Would recommend it to anyone.

This place is defenently not 4 star. I would rate it 2 star and that ispushing it. My wife and I stayedthere never again.
