Eaglehawk Motel Bendigo

Very disappointing experience.
The Wi-Fi was not working properly during my stay, which caused a lot of inconvenience. What made it even worse was that when I asked the staff if they could simply restart the Wi-Fi, they refused to help. I was not asking for anything unreasonable, just a basic attempt to fix the issue, but they would not even do that. For a hotel, this level of service is unacceptable. If you rely on internet access during your stay, I would not recommend this place.

Good, budget Motel. On arrival was promptly supplied with a key. Room was clean. No fuss, no hassles.

There was dirt in one of the beds.
Pillow was dirty.
Shower was very dirty we had to clean it before we used it.

Recently stayed at this motel and had a pleasant experience overall. The location was very convenient with easy access to local cafes, restaurants and highways. Check-in was quick and manager was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely consider staying here again in future.

Our room was impeccable. It was clean, comfortable with a microwave, crockery and cutlery. It was walking distance to amenities. Every phone call was answered promptly. The manager was helpful and friendly. He explained how to turn the air conditioner on and off with great patience. Without hesitation I give this motel five stars. Thank you to the staff for a pleasant stay.

We booked about 8 rooms for a wedding, price charged was from $100 to $200 for the night in identical rooms, questioned it and was told too bad its what is negotiated when you book, this is not India it's Australia, just not how we roll.

Very outdated but dog friendly, clean and had everything you needed. For what we paid we weren't expecting much and were pleasantly surprised.

Absolutely disgusting. Will never go back. Toilet wouldn’t flush properly, huge crack in toilet lid, curtains hung with zip ties or shower curtain rings, net curtain ripped, lock broken on front window. Had to put my toothbrush in track so it couldn’t be opened from outside.

A little dated but immaculate and very well maintained, very comfortable with wall heater and aircon, smart TV. Fridge, microwave etc. Happy to recommend to travellers with pets and will definitely stay there again.

Good clean motel. Good service everything a country motel should be.

It's basic decor but very clean. Had smart tv, Wi fi, toaster microwave, facilities to wash plates, cutlery etc.
Great location for exploring Bendigo. Pretty quiet at night.
Lovely hosts. Recommended booking direct with them, not through a booking site.

A good affordable motel just outside Bendigo. Very useful as a nights stop on the way to Mildura. Very 1970s vibe but my room had broken curtains & also a broken toilet lid but otherwise everything was functional and not too noisy until the trucks started in the early hours of the morning. The shower was fantastic, great pressure & temperature too. Close to food with KFC within walking distance & McDonalds back down the road by car. As I checked in after hours I didn’t see any employees & the next morning when I spoke to the cleaner, he didn’t seem to understand my question so I just dropped the keys off in the lock box.

Clean and well-priced motel, close to Bendigo. Basic amenities with 1970s charm — a lovely place to stay.

Nice cosy room. Aki is responsive to my enquiries prior to the stay. He also proactively recommended us nearby eateries and a park which we went the next morning. Nice walk in the park, so many birds and friendly park goers.
