We have just had a lovely 3 night stay at St Marks. The renovations are lovely, beautifully decorated. Very clean and the family room was perfect for us and our 3 year old. Its about a 20-30 minute walk to Coogee Beach or a cheap taxi ride. Thanks for a lovely stay, no hesitation in recommending!

Good sized rooms, nice outside courtyard to sit in. Very convenient to beaches, city and loads of good local restaurants.

Newly upgraded in September '17. Looking clean and fresh. Nicely decorated. Sink and fridge in the single room I stayed in with large window. Overall the property was well presented. Bed was comfortable. Unfortunately the shower was a little dirty.

Having for 26 hours this was the perfect atmosphere to recover, clean, quite rooms with a relaxed staff with freedom to go and come as you wish.

I stayed there for five nights. Everything was perfect. Not arriving during the opening hours, I contacted them by email. Kate kindly prepared my keys so I could get them.

The place is clean and quiet, it has a tea area outside with lots of green. The bathroom is clean and tidy. The size of the room is ok, and the staff is friendly.

We stayed at this lodge 3 years ago and it was freshly renovated and fine but this time we tried two rooms and both were subpar. Both rooms had a musty smoky smell. The bed was clean but the bathroom was pretty dirty and had an advanced growth of black mould. You also can't get away from the cigarette stink throughout the property. A filthy bathroom is a dealbreaker and not value at any price and this place is not cheap.

Great affordable accommodation within walking distance to UNSW and Coogee Beach. Modern bathroom, comfortable bed and reasonable facilities.

Nice cozy place to stay. Quite close to the Coogee beach and good restaurants at a walking distance. The only thing that can be improved is access to Wi-Fi. Currently it is restricted to two devices per room which could be a problem if you are staying as a couple and both of you want to use your devices.

The rooms are nice. The beds are comfortable. They don't seem very organized though. They messed up my reservation and put it under a wrong name. I saw something similar for two other people. The rooms are newly renovated and it is close to a bus stop.

Clean, comfortable room, great location, easy stroll to Randwick or Coogee.

I stayed here for a week. Very glad to be leaving. The first room I had was tiny and the single bed would be better suited to a childs day care centre. Everything was broken in the room, TV remote, shower taps, shower door, air conditioner, all broken or needing repair. Did like the free Wi-Fi, however on my last day it was turned off so I had 5 hours of no internet before I checked out. I ended up in another room which had a double bed and was much roomier. Still the shower taps and door were broken here too and there was a huge a/c unit right outside my window which was extremely loud 24 by 7. Staff were friendly enough, they need to do some serious renovations and maintenance on their rooms.

If you can't handle stairs, look somewhere else! Clean rooms, comfortable beds, quiet but tiny tiny bathrooms. Good value tho & on street parking wasn't an issue.

It is OK, you get exactly what you pay for. More than adequate. Short walk to good restaurants.

Single room was excessively tiny. No cupboard, no iron, no desk. Unsecured, unstable Wi-Fi. Didn't meet my needs as a business traveler. Staff and location are good. Neat and tidy.

Nice looking hotel! But I'm giving this a 1star rating for its terrible service! I had booked this for New Year's Eve to stay, but I ended up getting heatstroke the day before and wanted to cancel my reservation, and I was charged the full amount of the booking and I didn't even get to go anywhere, I was expecting at least being charged half the total, but was charged the whole amount which I wasn't very happy about at all.

The lodge is conveniently positioned close to Coogee beach and the Randwick Hospital. Three of us stayed in a family room, which has one double bed and one single. The room was well kept and the beds were write comfortable. The price was right for us. The staff were accommodating and helped us when we had any problems. Will stay again.

I stayed for 2weeks with 10month baby and 10 years daughter. It's was very peaceful place and very clean condition room. The room has high ceiling, that feels much more space than actual. Kind staff as well. Overall, lovely place to stay.
