Very clean and well maintained. Public transport very close. Wi-Fi not the best quality.

Nice and clean, relatively comfortable BUT the shower floods. I think they need to clean out the shower drain there's at least twenty ex-guests hair down there.

It's a small space, but clean and stylish. The staff are very helpful.

Excellent location in Randwick 10 minutes away on foot from gorgeous Coogee beach and UNSW. Lodge 5 minutes walk away from Coles and bus stop to city. Lodge itself is quiet, clean. It has a separate kitchen common kitchen, laundry and bathroom. We got a nice ensuite room on the group follow with bathroom. There are few balcony view rooms. When reserving donask if ur room has its own bathroom or its shared bathroom. It sits right on the road so daytime traffic (not very heavy) is part of the experience. The staff at the lodge are very helpful and responsive.

Nice and quiet place to stay. Room was clean and staff friendly. The light in my room flicked occasionally but otherwise everything else was good.

Nice location, obviously some small rooms but very good value. Friendly service, I was comfortable staying here.

Booked for a room with ensuite when we arrived we were put in a very small room no ensuite tried to explain wanted ensuite receptionist didn't want to know about it when we checked out the same thing happened to another person checking in this is more a back packers lodge will recommend high cross park better rooms location & friendly staff.

Good location near many restaurants and stores.

My sister was airlifted to prince of wales hospital from Port Macquarie. We arrived here in Sydney, and had no idea where we would stay or what we would do. We found Alison Lodge on the internet so decided to call. We could not be happier. We got an ensuite room with a large double bed and a single bed. The room was very clean and spacious and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the shower had great water pressure and was nice and hot. The premises were lovely and clean. Downstairs there is a kitchen/laundry with 2 microwaves, a sandwich press, crockery, cutlery along with a coin operated washer and dryer. This proved extremely useful as we only had a couple of sets of clothes. There is an undercover patio down stairs with tables and chairs where you can sit and eat a meal or enjoy a tea /coffee. The close proximity to the hospital, supermarkets and eateries made it a great location to stay. We paid a small daily fee for onsite parking which was fantastic. As for the staff, we could not have hoped for more friendly or accomodaing people. They went out of their way to help in every way possible and were always polite, smiling and friendly. Our room was cleaned and sheets changed during our six day stay. Thanks to the staff at Alison Lodge for making us comfortable during such a traumatic time in our life. I would recommend Alison Lodge to everyone.

Alison Lodge was very clean and comfortable. The room was very cosy, but the bed was beautifully made up and I was pleased to find I had tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge in the room, which I hadn't thought was included. Staff were friendly, approachable and accommodating, as I arrived after hours. Would definitely stay again.

The room was modeen and nice. However, there is little in the way of sound insulation. The traffic and other guests.

Quiet Place. Clean. Nice Staff. Nice servide. Although the single room is a little bit small. But overall very nice.

Great place for a feed and a drink.

Very disappointing — the room wasn't what was promised over the phone when making the booking or when viewed on the website, the heater provided in my room upon arrival sparked and blew up when plugged in almost causing a fire and filling the room with smoke the ceiling fan didn't work either, the room was very small and cold with a very small window. The night manager when called and informed of problems was very rude and disrespectful. It took more than a week to get my refund and Alison Lodge had to be contacted multiple times before my refund came through. I was very disappointed with the service I received and I will never stay there again. Upon checking out the lady on the desk seemed amused that me, my partner, my 2 year old and newborn were put in that position and how rude the Night staff was. Very poor OH&S conditions. Upon arrival the bathroom had no towels and when staff were notified they didn't believe we had no towels. I would not recommend staying at Alison Lodge unless you want to waste your money. Very disgusting and very rude staff makes you feel depressed…

Made our booking online without a problem, card charged and confirmation emailed. Got there and doors are locked, phone not answering and had to book another hotel. No website or other contact for them.

Nice and affordable accommodation. No room service during our stay — therfore one star minus.

Convinent location. Rooms very small and a bit smelly. Shared bathroom which is clean. Cheapest accommodation in Randwick.

Very clean, very nice place. Manager was nice and accommodating and the place was good considering the price. If I have to stay in Sydney again for a alright place in an alright area, I would definitely be picking here.
