Have stayed here before the pandemic, during 2020, and now finding myself here again. If you’re gonna be in town for a day, a week, this is definitely worth your time.

Overpriced. Room service subject to low staffing. Same woman in cafe also delivered my breakfast after I called. Several minutes later than requested 6:30 am delivery.

The staff were amazing and helpful and the breakfast was great. The rooms were clean and quiet. The neighborhood surrounding the location is a little rough but the security gate ensured our vehicle was secure.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in many ways. The rooms were spacious, staff is super nice, gym (limited space) had good machines (precor), gated parking and good setup for breakfast. They have coupon system for breakfast and the bistro offers hot food, fresh fruits etc. The pool was decent size but the floor was wet mostly with stagnant water.

The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. I woke at 130 am with a kidney stone and needed a taxi. I can’t remember his name but he was extremely kind and caring. Offering me water and asking if there was anything I needed while I wait. The staff here is why I always stay with holiday inn if I travel. Thank you and your staff and if you find out that kind mans name please tell him I said thank you.

Not bad at all! It has been years since I've been to a Holiday Inn, and I didn't know what to expect. The room was nicely decorated and easy to keep cold. The beds were comfy, the staff was very polite and friendly, and we had absolutely no troubles. The parking lot is surrounded by iron bars, and you need your key card to access the parking lot. This made me a little worried about what kind of neighborhood we were in, but it all turned out OK. They have a little restaurant that serves "made-to-order breakfast" that did a good job on our food, but they were a little overwhelmed by a convention and seemed frazzled. Everything worked out just fine, though. And the little touches, like artistically folding the towels, were a nice addition. I got much more than I expected for the extremely reasonable price!

Went to the Bistro at the Holiday Inn, Yakima with family. Food and service was good, place was not busy at the time. I got the BBQ Cheddar Burger. It was a little dry, but, was great with a little extra bbq sauce. Would possibly go again sometime.

The entire staff are very nice and charming. The dining and food preparation is superb. Can't wait to visit here again soon.

The hotel and room were great. Jaime in the bar was a very good marketing agent for the services offered. The beer was cold, however, breakfast needs a little work. There was my husband and me and one other lady in The restaurant.
Bacon and eggs were ordered (pretty simple). Eggs were cold and the bacon was like it had been stored in the frig. The waitress however was lovely.

Conveniently located, clean, hospitable, and everything you would expect at a holiday inn location. Reliable middle-of-the-road hotel. Handy to have a restaurant on-site, but they are a little pricey for what it is. Nice gated parking area. Responsive staff. I would stay here again.

I had to stay on a last minute business trip. The Hotel was very accommodating, and every staff member I came across was very friendly. Wi-Fi was speedy, and I find the beds to be very comfortable. Would recommend.

Nice! We have enjoyed our weekend in Yakima and this hotel worked out just fine. Walking distance to several good bars and restaurants, friendly service and a decent hot tub.

Located within walking distance of many restaurants and right across the street from the conference center. This hotel is well maintained, clean, and staffed well. Overall, an enjoyable place to stay in Yakima!

Nice layout in rooms, decent restaurant, gated parking. Beds are very comfortable. The only downside is the location, a little sketchy. But the hotel is one of the better holiday inns I've stayed at. The staff is extremely nice and accommodating.

The staff is great here… consistently! The front desk and room service staff are beyond accommodating and do everything with a kind smile and helpful tone. This is my go to property when staying in Yakima!

Indoor pool and jacuzzi! Clean hotel with friendly front desk staff. Our room was kept impeccably and they had nice toiletries and coffee. Every room has a fridge which is nice too. The pool and jacuzzi are the best part of it all and are exceptionally clean.

Great hotel, helpful, fruendly staff. Just wish they had more afforadable options for breakfast, or maybe a small continenal breakfast. Everything else is good, though.

Very nice rooms, friendly staff, gated parking area for security and in walking distance to restaurants and bars. They also have rooms service and a bar/restaurant if you don't want to go out. Splendid views of the surrounding hillsides, you can even see the top of Mt. Rainer and Mt. Adams! Great stay!

Food is awesome, great tasting, fairly decent price. Good place for get together and relax.

Room keys didnt work and our arms were full of luggage. Hall way was very hot. Did not like there lighting, which asks you to use your room key for the bathroom light instead of a flip switch, all in the excuse of going green. Instead of going green, it feels an excuse to be cheap. Also, no bathroom fan! Yuck. TV remote was hard to use. Had to repeatedly retype channel numbers, also very limited on HD channels which made all none HD channels unwatchable. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable which is why they get two stars. Would not stay again. I recommend other hotels in the area. Its worth it.

The room was clean and crisp when we entered. Little did we know they raised the rate for our group of over 100, well above their seasonal prices. There is no continental breakfast, no food of any kind available to guest in the morning. The one night we went to the hotel restaurant their was one waitress for all guests all night long. The daily service left a placard on the bed saying they were unable to change the sheets because of personal belongings. Their was a neck pillow on the bed. Waste baskets were left full for three of the four day stay. No new towels were provided without calling and requesting them multiple times. It was a very disappointing experience from a major chain. I expected better and found it that 1.5 miles down the road there is a holiday inn express.

The hotel is great, always clean, friendly and helpful. BUT the bar hostess is always rude and not very helpful or friendly. And this is an ongoing problem cause I've been coming for a quite a few years! Several hostess, same problem! CustomerMy suggestion is when you know there is going to be extra guests like the HDI show schedule another bar hostess! Otherwise we might all go elsewhere. Do you want to lose the business? Customer IS a priority or have you forgotten Holiday Inn?

Like noise? You'll love this place. Paper-thin walls (and I mean PAPER-thin) ; I could hear both ends of the phone conversation my next-door neighbor was having while his TV blasted away against our common wall at the head of my bed. When I complained to the desk, they dutifully rang his room and asked him to turn it down — I know because I could hear that conversation too. Frankly, it didn't help much. I honestly believe you could carry on a room to room conversation right through these walls, without raising your voice! Then there were the kids running up and down the hall all night. Can't really blame the hotel for that (or can you? ). Bottom line, if you're looking for a quite place to rest or get some work done, keep looking!

I would give 0 stars if possible! So I stay in Yakima usually once a month, unluckily Holiday Inn was the only hotel within my company budget for the two nights this visit so with no choices I ended up here again knowing I would probably end up with bad treatment. All I wanted was to order room service because I had worked all day drive 3 hours and then worked in my room for a couple more hours. Finding no menu in my room I went to the front desk asked for a menu. The petite young girl and African American guy told me it would be in the drawer under the TV. I said I looked I didn't see it. I asked for a menu and she repeated the same thing again I said I didn't see it and she said it was in the drawer. I again said it wasn't there, and to my surprise she restated it was there in every room. More sternly said I just wanted a menu she said she would send someone up. I said no I just wanted a menu she said she could send one up I went back to my room. To my surprise when the person came (the MOD) she tried to come in, I stopped her and she said she was told to come in a look for it? Irritated I said no I wanted a menu and she wasn't coming to rummaged in my room once I checked in I just needed a menu. She said she would be back. Next was beyond belief! I received a call from the snotty girl at the front desk to argue why I didn't let the "MOD" in my room.

Baseball tourney, full house and they closed the restaurant and bar at 1000pm. Wouldn't let people use they potato, so the only public space was the small lobby. Not friendly staff, lots of"rules"about what was not allowed, not any, "how can we accommodate you to make your stay more pleasant".

Reasonably priced, nice staff. Super clean rooms and ultra-comfortable beds. There are fridges in the rooms. They have rooms that connect, if you need that option, and there's enough space in the room for a crib or roll a way. My one complaint would be the system to turn on your lights requires your room card… this is common. However, it seems to glitch a lot. There's a bar in the nice lobby, which has event space adjacent. Breakfast is available for an additional $10 per person. Parking is secure and free. Well located near freeway access and downtown Yakima.

I won't be back and one of my staff will be using this hotel in future. First and most importantly, my staff person was bumped from her room and "walked" to an inferior hotel nearby when she arrived at 10pm, in spite of her call to the hotel at 3pm saying that she would arrive at 10pm, and my payment for her room with a physical credit card at 4:30pm, and that we had reserved the room months in advance. Why would her room have been given away when we clearly were going to use the room? Three staff at the front desk were asked that question, including the manager, but none could tell me why that happened. The hotel she was "walked to" was far lower quality. I will not stay here again, nor will my staff be lodged here. Secondly, the restaurant was the slowest experience for food and service in general that I have ever experienced, in spite of the fact that there were only a handful of tables occupied. Over two hours to get a hummus plate and a entree salad? That's just ridiculous. We used the hotel restaurant to save time rather than going out. That was a mistake in retrospect.

The beds are very comfortable, the pillows poofy, and the comforter was warm. The hotel was easy to find your way around and it is very close to the Yakima Convention Center. However, you have to cross an intersection to the complete opposite side to get to the convention center. The complimentary breakfast is good because I enjoy the biscuits and gravy and the juice. The room air conditioning is frustrating because it blasted hot them cold air and is never just the temperature you want. The people at the front desk are really helpful and friendly. The paid food is good from the breakfast that I had.

Great hotel. Friendly staff. Blackberry wings are fantastic in the restaurant on the 1st floor. Good work out area. Weird parking situation. Wasn't sure whether to park in gated area or in the front. Tried both. Both worked. Lots of cable channels. No smart TV. Good Internet service.

Good size rooms, quiet, and gated parking. Close to I-82 and easy to get to where you need to be. No complimentary coffee in thw lobby, though.

We went to the Holiday Inn to have Thanksgiving dinner with family. The staff were very courteous.

Very close to the convention center, lots of food and restaurants. The happy hour from 4-7 at the hotel is decent, but not great. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

My daughter and I stayed one night and we loved it. David S. Was working the front desk when we arrived he was very helpful and polite. We loved the salt water pool and appreciated the clean facility. Highly Recommended!

Loved it with the exception that I have 2 bed bug bites on my hip. I stayed there on March 22 and 23rd. Got them the first night and didn't know what they were until I got home and did some research.

Great hotel, great location and great rooms. Beds are amazingly comfortable. Ruben at front desk was awesome! Kudos to the hotel manager for hiring and retaining such great staff. Keurigs in room was nice as well. Will stay here again for sure.

We stayed one night with our dog and were thrilled. It was excellent value for money and we felt it was better than a three star and they were sensitive to our needs as dog owners.

They don't even offer a free breakfast! You can't even get coffee for less than $3.00! Way overpriced for Yakima. The Holiday Inn express across the street is a better deal. It's just as nice, cheaper, free breakfast and coffee.
