We stayed during Fourth of July weekend and we were extremely dissatisfied with the hotel. Our initial room was absolutely filthy with stains all over the sheets. We were moved to another room and it was just as filthy as the first one. There was a smell in the room that we could not figure out where it was coming from. Smelled like a dead animal. The room was infested with roaches. The ceiling of our room was peeling and coming off! I can’t even describe the condition of this room. Because I had booked through Expedia, I was not able to cancel my room. We slept with masks on our faces, worried so much about critters crawling into her mouth at night.

Absolutely disgusting rooms and the lady that checked me in was completely rude. I have stayed there every year over the past 8 years and I have NEVER seen one of my rooms as dirty and nasty as ours was. In addition to all of that, they ran out of towels… what hotel runs out of towels for their customers? They weren’t cleaning rooms every day due to COVID & all rooms were rented out which is why I couldn’t get another room… so seems to me that at the very least the housekeepers could do laundry when they weren’t cleaning rooms…? I will not recommend this hotel to anyone ever nor will I be staying there ever again.

Terribly rude staff that question people’s MEDICAL CONDITIONS and treat them poorly based on it. Staff members also have sticky fingers. Should probably watch who they hire.

I don’t even want to give them any stars because they over book their rooms so we didn’t get the king we wanted so they said they’d give us 25% off. The toilet didn’t flush so we had crap in our bathroom the entire 1st day after complaining about it. There was no remote for tv. The walls were dirty. Then when we got home our card was charged over $150 more than was originally told. We called to complain and the manager Brandy did nothing but talk over you the entire time. Eventually the bill was somewhat fixed but it was still over our original quote and we were never given the 25% off. DO NOT STAY HERE! There are so many better places.

Friend paid extra to park there. Car was towed regardless (while she was checking out! ) and turned into a vacation nightmare. Days Inn did nothing to assist and towing company refused to release car because of expired registration. Is that even legal?!

I recently stayed here and found a bed bug on my bed. I caught the bedbug, took it to the manager. Nothing has been done to compensate me. The manager has been extremely evasive. It is a filthy hotel. Please do not stay here, you probably will get bedbugs.

Great location. Very affordable. Staff was quite helpful. My only complaint was that I was charged for parking for 2 days and I never had a car with me. I only saw that on my receipt too late. It's a fair amount of money to be charged for not having a car while visiting Charleston.

I do NOT recommend this hotel. Once you pay to book a room, you'll arrive only to be told that there is a $17 per day parking fee to park on hotel property. If you happen to forget to place the parking tag on your dashboard, they will have you towed within an hour and a half. You'll then have to pay $166 to get your car back, which you'll have to wait an hour for because the towing company doesn't actually answer the phone. After towing you, they will still charge your card for the parking. I've been in touch with corporate about this and am demanding a refund for any money I spent for my stay at this hotel, including parking and the towing fee.

Al at the front desk was the nicest concierge. And boy, can he pick out the right map for whatever touring you have in mind. The hotel lobby leads into one of the best restaurants in town, Toast. The rooms are mediocre (or typical Days Inn rooms) but, the location of this hotel is simply unbeatable! It's central to all the best spots in Charleston if you want to walk (best thing to do since parking is virtually unavailable throughout town). Park at the hotel for 17 daily, walk to reataurants, french quarters markets, King St shops and boutiques and many other points of interest.

Reasonably priced motel at a great location. It's right in the middle of beautiful Historic Charleston. The rooms were VERY small — like — only slightly larger than a stateroom on a cruise ship. That said — the room was clean and comfortable. I did notice that despite being center city, the room was pretty quite. Normally, I would give a properly like this a 4 star rating but, I made it 5 stars because the front desk clerk was EXTREMELY helpful helping some lost tourists (us) make the most of our short visit in Charleston. In hopes that management see it I'll say that it was ELLEN that was so fantastic.

Great location for the price. We saved on lodging so we could go on more adventures. Stayed two nights and didn't need to take the car any where. Surprisingly quiet for the area. Be sure to use an online booking service for discount.

Love the location… staff was fantastic, especially Al at the front desk. Our entire stay he made us feel welcomed and that we were special. Girlfriend and I wanted to take him back to Pgh.

Never again! First off, I have always had clean pretty pristine feet. However, I made the poor choice of second guessing whether to shower with my flip flops or even whether to constantly wear my flip flops at all. I, for some reason, have developed a terrible foot issue after my stay here. I should have known the intense humidity, age of the building, and an old wall unit were ideal conditions for fungus/mold growth. This is just unacceptable. Please stop taking people's money and update the entire building. The only reason I give any stars is because of the location and the beds/pillows were comfortable. Other than that there was mold in our bathroom in a corner I noticed post shower and now my feet are suffering from my decision to not put on my flip flops for my one evening stay. No one deserves an issue like mine and paid for it too. Bottomline, keep your shoes on at all times if you stay here.

Excellent location, close to everything! Way better than other Days Inn across the country, friendly staff and clean rooms. We booked it with breakfast included only to find out it wasn’t, no big deal but an expense we incurred. Highly recommendable.

Hotel was clean and staff were very friendly. Great location in the historic district. We were able to walk everywhere. We accidentally left our car door open and they kept an eye on our car until they could get in touch with us to let us know!

Great location in downtown Charleston. Clean rooms, and bathrooms. Attentive staff. Very helpful in suggesting all of the different tourist spots in and around the Charleston area. Make sure that you get a parking permit. Parking is hard to find in downtown Charleston. Would definitely recommend this Days Inn on your next stay in town.

Could be better. The only thing 'Great' about this hotel is the location, you really can't beat it. It's a close walk to everything and it's attached to a nice breakfast restaurant. However the rooms are quite dated and ours was musty and dirty. They do hit you with a $17 per night parking fee so be prepared for that. We didn't use the pool, but it looked pretty similar to the rest of the hotel. Doubtful that I'd stay here again.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked this room at the Days Inn, but I was pleasantly surprised. We did have to pay $17 for parking, but had no trouble parking fairly close to our room. I did see what other reviewers said about the grout needing redone but that didn't bother us at all. The room seemed pretty clean, lots of updates had been done and the location was amazing. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel in the heart of downtown. Room seemed clean for the most part and hotel had nice staff but… late in the night there were roaches in my room! Tiny roaches on the night stand. I always stay at Wyndham hotels and stayed at plenty Days Inn hotels but have NEVER experienced roaches. Unfortunately it was too late in the night to change rooms or hotels. But I won’t be returning to this particular Days Inn.

We have been to Charleston multiple times and this was by far the worst experience we have ever had. I urge you to find a different hotel. You will be very dissapointed with the service. The rooms are disgusting and extremely noisy (dirty showers with hair, unclean toilets, etc). The staff is extremely unfriendly and they will nickel and dime you for everything. For example, they advertised parking for $14 per night in their guest service binder in the room, and then charged us $17 per night. When we brought this to their attention, they were unbelievably rude and refused to refund us stating there were many things in the binder that needed updating — extremely unprofessional! Not to mention there were multiple times that there wasn't enough parking in their own lot. They charge you a ridiculous fee of $50 if you decide to shorten your trip (doesn't matter how far in advance you tell them). Very, very disappointing. We will not be staying at a Days Inn in the future.

Great location, within walking distance of everything! Great room, clean, nice to have onsite parking even if it’s an extra charge, well worth it! Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful!

A place close to Historic Centre. Rooms are dated but have seen worse. Front desk staff is great. House keeping could be improved. But over all not a bad place to stay.

Location is great. Room doesn't look like it's been thoroughly cleaned in some time. Grime in the shower, strained grout, everything needs to be recaulked. Got stuck in a "pet friendly" room so there is a slight smell that's been covered over with cleaning chemicals, but it goes away after you're in here for a few minutes.

Stayed here twice. It's in a great location to explore the historic district. They're strict with parking and you can leave your car until 3 on the day you check out. Staff are all very friendly and it's attached to Toast which is a good breakfast place. Rooms are normal, nothing fancy.

Location is perfect for people who enjoy self guided walking tours of downtown Charleston! Room was nicely furnished & clean. Staff very friendly & efficient. Our 3rd time here… never disappointed.

Great location! Hotel is situated right in the heart of downtown, only about a 5 min walk to the open air market. The room was clean. Only complaint was the thin walls. If your neighbors aren't quiet people you'll probably lose a bit of sleep. Overall, it's a very good value.

The location is amazing! The service was good, but I gave it 4 stars because they never cleaned our room. We couldn't get into our room and had to get someone to open it. You would have thought that the cleaning staff would have alerted the front desk.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of this property. It is located in an awesome location. There is an adjacent restaurant named Toast that is very good. The price is much better than everything else nearby. I would stay here again. I found the staff to be friendly. The free Wi-Fi was rather fast as well.

I have been generous. One for building outlook (it does look beautiful OUTSIDE), and one for location (I am not sure with that, but most reviews give high rating to it, so, I follow). Then everything go down. My first time lived in MOTEL, and this place maybe rating as the OK level in all Motel. Em,,, I think I will go with Hotel for the rest of my time if nothing big changed my mind. When I first went out from the car, a strong unpleasant odors went into my nose. And it got stronger when I opened my room door. First breath smells like mold, not very strong but enough to make you doubt your choice. Then the pillow. Pillow inside looks very yellow, and the pillow cover case looks not very clean. Two sheets on the top of bed. First one is yellow color, and looks beautiful. However (yes, nothing before however is counted)! However, I checked the corner of sheets, old and little dark bars are on it. Doesn't look like it has been washed in about weeks? Monthly will be a dirty guess and can only scare myself. Second one didn't give me good impression either. I only slept with my own clothes that night. The strongest odor will be dust smells while there only have little dusts on the table. The most unpleasant smell is the slight odor that definitely come from someone's beriberi. It came over and over again from the floor (I guess). I tried to locate which place it came from, but failed. Because it is slightly, I decided to get over with it.

NOTE: They charge a fee for the safe, and you have to request to have it removed if you don't use the safe! This info is on a small sign in the lobby and nowhere else. Rather shady practice. Knocked off a star for that. Really great! Very very impressed by how clean and pretty the outside is, and very happy with the location. Problems: toilet didn't flush right, so sometimes we had to take the top off the back. No light switches by the door, so it's hard to turn on the light when you come in. Bathroom rather small and unpleasant lighting. Double beds instead of queen. Strange tapping noises at night. Nowhere to hang a towel next to the sink. But these are small complaints. The room was clean and well-equipped. Microwave, large mini-fridge, good coffee. Overall very pleased.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! They have a scam going with a local tow truck operator. He patrols the parking lot on foot and if he sees you park in their lot and you walk away they immediately tow your car. I walked across the street to use a restroom as we had been driving for a few hours and then was walking to the office to get rates and attempt to check in and my vehicle was raised so high in the air I was concerned for my dog in the back seat. I asked what he was doing and he stated I was illegally parked and it would cost $100 cash right then or he would tow the vehicle to his shop and charge $200 to get it out. I walked around and opened my drivers door to see if my dog was ok from being so high in the air and he said I was not cooperating so he was towing the truck, with my dog in it (WHO HAS A LIFE THREATENING EATING DISORDER) and MY MEDICATION. I am an insulin dependent diabetic. He absolutely cared nothing about my dog, my belongings, or me attempting to go to the office to check rates/vacancy. I was forced to pay this thug $100 cash so I demanded a receipt and immediately went to complain to the hotel manager. The manager had absolutely nothing to say to me and it was evident that they are running a scam as the tow operator walked into the office to hear what I was saying. He was treated like an employee. The other couple, (who posted a review about this tow operator banging on their room door), was in the office complaining at the same time as me.

Only giving 2 stars because of location. Curtains don’t close all the way so you have these flimsy white curtain “covering” the window, but you can see right in. We were on the first floor right by the office, so everyone could just see it. We ended up using a hanger to hold the dark curtains closed. Shower faucet was broken and didn’t completely pull up so the shower head was only getting half the water to it. Beds were only a full size. Barely sleeps 2 adults comfortably. Also there was a $14 parking fee that wasn’t mentioned anywhere. Wasn’t expecting a 5 star experience, but really wasn’t expecting this.

This is not a four star hotel, but my experience was four star. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends. I would also stay here again. Why? Great locations, very affordable parking and good room rates. When I entered the room, my first thought was, "wow this is much better then I expected from a Days Inn. " It was much, much better then the cheaper hotel across from Ashley River, where I stated last time. While it would never be as elegant as its neighbor, it is the best I could afford in historic Charleston. The office staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. No odors. Toiletries, not the best. Furniture was new enough. And again, the location and parking are the best in town!

The hotel is perfectly fine, really you get what you pay for. The rooms are a little small as is the bathroom but it's all functional. I found the beds very comfortable. Everything was clean enough although not really up to my standards. However, you can't beat the location just about everything I wanted to do was walking distance, it was great.

We booked this hotel for a few nights before hopping on a Carnival Cruise, the location is excellent, very close to restaurants, shopping and. Historic sights. The price of the hotel was very reasonable, however it could use some updating, its more motel than hotel. Book this hotel more for the location, than amenities.

Standard motel feel with two floors is rooms that open too the outside. Comfortable bed, clean, check in and out is a breeze. The location is so central to many of the sites that you can easily walk most anywhere and leave the car behind.

There is a daily parking fee which we didn't know. They gave us parking pass to keep on the dash of the car. But beware, if you don't keep that on your dash, sure enough there will be a tow truck there quick enough to tow your car. My husband happened to step out of the room when the driver was hooking up car and presented the pass which had fallen off the dash. He was rude and told my husband it was not visible, I'm towing you anyway. I went in to speak to the hotel manager and all she had to say was you have to pay 75.00 fee to drop the car and they will reimburse us. What a scam! We understand they do it to keep people from parking that aren't guests, but give me a break, the driver should have said ok and dropped the car. He also was not a good representation of a southern gentleman! We called the police who were no help! Will never stay at that hotel again!

Only been here since 10am (it's now 8:30pm), but so far everything has been nice. Room is good so far. Very close to EVERYTHING. Toast being right next door is great! Only thing is our room smells kind of musky, but that's nothing horrible for us.

They cover the tub and didn't fix it. They cleaned the room and left it like this. Arrive and alert reception. A boy came in with a little potato, I left the potato without fixing it. He went to find another solution and did not come for 40 minutes. A real mess. Only the location is positive.

This is the very worst hotel in Charleston. DO NOT STAY HERE! Please don't be swayed by the price — YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! The front desk staff was rude, the room is not only small but dirty. There was actually a dirty used towel from a previous occupant hanging on the back of the door in the bathroom. Requests for new clean towels were ignored unless we went down to the registration desk in person, and dealt with the I-can't-be-bothered-with-you attitude of the staff. The tub and bathroom were obviously not cleaned from previous guests. I have never been so disgusted in my life. We stayed one night as it was a holiday week and there were literally no other options. After that first night we relocated to a much nicer hotel. I called and complained to the customer service line and received a nice thanks-for-your-feedback-we-can't-do-anything email in response. Please, please learn from my mistake and DON"T STAY HERE!

We reserved two rooms for me, my wife and four kids for a two day stop on our way home to Florida from a visit to DC. I was concerned after being in a low rent Extended Stay America and reading a couple negative reviews, but this place is great (for the price). The reception at the front desk was very welcoming and accommodating. Information was shared for local activities and dining. There was one minor problem with one of our rooms which was corrected promptly. The location is great, centrally located between the waterfront and the shops and restaurants. If your trying to keep the $$$ down, this is the place for you!

Absolutely Horrible-We called a month before our vacation to reserve a pet friendly room at this hotel due to the reviews and indications that they are pet friendly. Do not be fooled by the good location and seemingly low rates. We paid in full to guarantee a lower rate over the phone in advance for our pet friendly room. We attempted to check in on Saturday and was told that the Days Inn person who booked our room over the phone with us did not book a pet friendly room for us but "requested" one. Our confirmation email even stated that we were being booked for a pet friendly room. The front desk staff was extremely rude and just stated that we were not reserved for a room that was pet friendly and therefore did not have a room now. They would not refund our money that we paid and did not offer any resolution at all. This was the most upsetting hotel experience I have ever had and we travel frequently. Do not bring your pets here and do not book here, especially in advance. We went to a nice Hampton Inn on Mt Pleasant instead with a wonderful staff who accommodated us right away. Do not book at the Days Inn!

Renovation and parking charge.

I stayed there for one night while travelling from South Carolina to Cleveland. I could not find any other hotels in the area and it was late. The woman at the front desk was totally disinterested in serving any new customers and made like she was really doing me a favor serving me. She gave me the last available room on the 4th floor. The minute I set foot in that room I knew I had made a huge mistake. I was unable to sleep the entire night as every time the A/C went on the whole wall would rumble. Their were black marks all over the wall. The sofa had cigarette burn marks all over it. When I lay in the bed I felt itchy. It was like the Hotel from Hell. The A/C was so loud it was futile to even try watching a bit of TV.

Very nice hotel, not top notch but for the price and the location you can't beat it. It's right in the middle of the historic district, walking distance from all the major shops and right next to market street. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I'm in Charleston about once a month for work and I think this place is going to become my go to.

What we needed was a room with a bed where we could sleep at night and we got it. Are the rooms nice? Sure, but not overly so. Are they clean? Sufficient to not feel grossed out. The rooms met our needs, but did little to exceed them. Where this hotel really stands out, however, is the location, which is *fabulous*. It's a little more then a block from the historic market and within walking distance of most everything else in Olde Charleston. And at roughly 30% less per night than anywhere else in the area, this Days Inn could be the perfect choice for the holiday goer on a budget. So, in conclusion, the hotel itself is perhaps mediocre, but for the price in its location it could be totally worth it. ** During our stay there was construction occurring at the BB&T building across the street which, perhaps because of the daytime heat, seemed to occur largely before 10 or so at night and after 7 in the morning, but not during the day. If you can, try to get a room away from the BB&T building.

This motel was such a great choice on our part. My husband and I were first time visitors to Charleston, and I was so very happy after arrival for very many reasons. 1. Location! The location of this motel was perfect. We walked everywhere and only drove to the places that were 15 minutes or more away. So many complain because of the 14 dollar parking fee, but if you were to drive anywhere you pay at least $5-10 everywhere you go either to a meter or parking clerk. 2. It's everything you need. On our vacations we spend minimal time in our hotel room. We were there only to sleep. We had a hot shower, mini fridge, microwave, and a comfy bed with comfy pillows. Ice machine is also nice as we filled up our yeti's each day. 3. Staff. They were so very friendly (even when some of the other patrons were acting rudely about not being able to check in 2 hours early). They were helpful and offered advice as to visiting the city. I would highly recommend staying here for a comfortable and affordable stay in Charleston. :) Thank you!

We were there for our day trip into Charleston for a night there! Jordan on reception was very helpful! Unfortunately, location is near to many of the guests to him on your own to check in and out. Therefore, we had to remember two Times in a baby bed but a nail got new. Unfortunately, we arrived without Breakfast. But the on-site Restaurant Toast gets 5 stars! French Toast of the house were a dream and the Service is awesome! Unfortunately, we had to pay an additional eur 120 for the night 14 eur Parking fees. This, however, was in the middle of the historical quarters, and was able to enjoy every Minute of it! Therefore, there are "only" 4 stars! Would stay there again any time!

3 1/2 stars for this hotel. The rooms are small yet functioning. It is obvious that this was an old hotel, despite updates made to the property. It still kind of has that smell. It didnt stink, just kind of smelled "old". Like it used to be a smoking room that they could never quite get all the smell out of. You are smack dab in the middle of downtown Charleston which makes the location amazing. You are right there at the city market, which is awesome. BUT… they charge 14$ A DAY to park your car in their parking lot, and dont tell you that tidbit until you check in. It isnt on their website (other than the tiny print that says "other local charges may apply" but dont tell you what those charges are) You are on a busy street and so depending on where your room is at the soundproofing is less than desirable. The front desk staff was friendly, and they were great for where to go and things to do and tourist information. The rooms were clean and kept clean, but even with the "do not disturb" in the door we still had housekeeping knock which was kind of frustrating. If you pay cash they make you pay a $50 deposit for damages and incidentals. Then when you check out they give it back to you, without even checking the room first (so really whats the point? ) All that being said I would stay there again because we were only there at night to sleep and it was the perfect central location to everything we wanted to do.

This is the best combination of affordability and location in Charleston. It is barebones amenities-wise, but it is always clean and the staff are friendly and courteous. I have been coming to Charleston for about 13 years, and I always start here. Lowest alternative hotels in walking distance are over double the price. Looking for a spa/relaxing lounge time in the hotel? This is not it. Just want a clean, reliable, affordable place to sleep at night on vacation? This is the place for you. I guess 5 stars if it was fancier or something. 4 stars because dated decor.

Hotel is nice and close to all attractions. I am from. Charleston and stayed here to visit a family member at the hospital. Very close to roper. Free parking and the pool is nice, walking distance to all attractions. Rooms are basic but clean.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel March 17.18.2016. At first, we discovered the refrigerator/microwave unit was not cooling. Finally WE figured out the problem (It took the maintenance man over18 hours to come to our room and by then we had resolved the issue) After our second day, the cleaning staff picked up the soiled towels from the floor and refolded them so that we would use them again. I conclude that the cleaning staff is lazy or someone is not keeping up with the laundry requirements. The downstairs ice machine did not work and it appeared that it had not worked in a long time. The location of the hotel is excellent for walking in the historic district and free parking is included. Parking in the historic district is at a premium.

The rooms were a little dated and old but they were clean and comfortable. This hotel is an affordable option for those wanting to stay in the Historic District. You are walking distance to anywhere you'd want to go. We didn't drive our car the entire weekend. Front desk staff is helpful and nice. No loud noises or disturbances. All in all, this is a great option for a clean and safe hotel in the Historic District. We will definitely return.

Convenient location to most restaurants, shops and other sightseeing locations. Staff were friendly and courteous. The room was clean but the bathroom was very small. Parking is very limited and towing is aggressive. Overall a decent hotel for the location and price.

Can't beat it for the price. Nothing fancy, but it's clean, service is friendly, free parking. The location is perfect, walking distance from everthing.

Location was perfect for being a tourist, staff was helpful and friendly, and the room was a great place to sleep — clean and quiet.

This Days Inn location is within walking distance (I am a walker) of some pretty great things. The rooms are adequate, and they turned out to be better appearance-wise than I thought they would be. A little beat up here and there but again, ok for the price. The walls are thin so you can easily hear the conversations and noise outside your room. We had no hot water the first morning. We contacted the front desk right away and they said that maintenance was aware of the issue, that they would check the boiler. We were up and running in relatively short order. Again, it works for the price. It is not a room I would want to spend time relaxing in, but there are so many things to do here in this great city that it's not an issue. It works as a place to lay your head.

We have stayed here in the past and been happy with it. It was inexpensive, clean, not fancy but equipped with everything one needed, and above all, very convenient to the historic district. However, after last night, we will NEVER stay here again. First of all, the rate we were charged was $290.00 for a room with king bed. This is way more than we ever paid before. The reason given was that it was Parents Weekend for the College of Chatleston. OK, that's understandable, I guess, if the hotel had been worth it. It was not. We asked for a ground floor room, which they said they would try but couldn't promise it. OK, again, that's understandable. But the several rooms near ours that were overflowing with college-age kids drinking and whooping it up all through the night (and I mean ALL night! ) were not. There wasn't even so much as a plastic dish for the soap. Almost $300.00 for the room and we had to either put the soap on the counter top or on a washcloth. Otherwise, the room was clean enough and satisfactory, and I saw no bugs, but the stairwell was filthy and there was no light when we left for dinner, nor any lights on the balcony outside our room. There was a rumbling noise coming from somewhere near our room which made it difficult to sleep. We had called about it earlier and a maintenance man (who was very nice) came up. He heard it, but had no clue as to what it might be, much less what to do about it. Then around 4:30 a. M.

Seeing other reviews I admit to having reservations about this place but it's location is ideal right in the middle of the historic district. For the price this is fantastic with free parking and staff were accommodating especially considering we were traveling with a disabled child this is no five star hotel but was ideal for us.

When my boyfriend and I went to check in at the Days Inn the lady at the desk was extremely rude. She had an attitude with me from the start of the conversation. We had booked a nonsmoking room and she informed us that we were being put in a smoking room. I informed her that we didn't book a smoking room and that neither of us were smokers and didn't want a smoking room. She told us "well it says right here you booked smoking" and pointed to the computer (which we could not see). We tried to ask for a change in room and she informed us that we could not do that. She was rude the entire conversation and we will not be returning to this hotel after this terrible customer service.

Avoid if possible. They will cancel your reservations so they can jack up the price when you arrive. They will try to blame it on whatever service you used to make the reservation. The rooms stink like mildew and are filthy. The door to my room looked like it had been kicked several times.
