Very poor quality for what you pay. Rooms are dirty and stink. There was a hair dryer attached to the wall and it was taped up with maskin tape. There was blood on the wall in the bathroom and the room smells like urine. Don't know if it is the mattress from someone wetting the bed or pets urinating in the room. The so called "breakfast" is nothing more than bananas and packaged cinnamon rolls. I was ther three nights and never got coffee with breakfast. The guy working there didn't know how to make it. Don't be fooled by pictures on their website, the rooms look nothing like them. My brother-in-law stayed directly across the street at the Presidio Inn San Fran for $100 less for three nights. The Presidios rooms are a little better and they have more to offer for breakfast. In the end I can't believe that Days Inn allows these people who own this hotel, to use ghe business name. I've stayed in many Days Inn Hotels and this one doesn't come close to meeting standards.

Nice surrounding, courteous staff, spacious room with all aminities and ample parking space. Memorable stay there.

It's clean… EXCEPT not under the bed! Person at desk was not even on site upon our arrival. He gave us a key, we went to the room, opened the door and the room WAS OCCUPIED! We went back to the office and were given another room. Breakfast was offered… sweet roll, bananas, coffee… breakfast was not even available until after 8:00 am… they ran out of cream… Parking is REALLY tight! Lots of coffee shops in the immediate area as well as eating establishments.

Great location. 4 stars was for cleanliness — not great. Customer service was good. I found street parking nearby overnight. Safe neighborhood. Easy walking to a ton of eateries within a few blocks. Also easy walking/morning run to the beach with bridge views, and to the wharf and Ghiradelli. Very quiet. Suitable for a convenient overnight crash pad while traveling solo.

Don't stay! Our room very small, plumbing was horrible, sink and bathtub didn't drain. Let them know, nothing was done. Overpriced!

FILTHY AND RUDE! The plumbing backs up randomly into the SINK! GROSS! The toilet ran constantly and loud! The shower and tub have mold. The whole room has a thick layer of dust everywhere. I have NO idea how people are rating this place anywhere decent. Waaay over priced! The only and I mean ONLY thing going for this dump is it's simi decent location. Not worth it.

Cozy setup the rooms were remodeled and up to date. The area has many great eating establishments within walking distance.

It's money's worth. Clean and neat. Near by to all tourist attractions.

Terrible. The clerk didn't wake up to check me in, neither at night nor in the morning. Possibly needs an alarm clock! No "continental breakfast" at 8 like announced in advertisement. Tv didnt work… need a can opener to park. No machines for drinks.

Book the room for 3 nights 4 days first day of check-in he tells me he's going to move me into a quiet room I go in the room smells funny I go to turn on the AC because it was happens to be hot. And the ac won't turn on I try to press different buttons nothing I called the front desk he tells me to unplug it leave it unplugged for 5 minutes and then plug it back in. He then states that there's an electrical problem which tells me he knew that this room was not adequate. As I go to unplug it I get shocked I let it sit for 5 minutes and then plug it back in and still doesn't work I realize at this point my phone is dying so I go to plug it in and the plug doesn't work so I go and find another plug all the plugs in the room did not work I called downstairs again and he tells me he'll call the tech to just open a window. So I open the window and the noise from the street is so loud I caught on stairs again and ask him if he can move me he tells me know he can check me out that's all he can do because there's no rooms available I said that I paid for these nights already why can't you just move me to another room. He States again that all he can do is check me out and cancel my reservation so I was left with no Hotel sleeping in my car when I had made these plans and paid for everything in advance I'll never stay at this hotel again and I'll be sure to send corporate days in an email.

This is a perfectly ok hotel, especially for solo travelers and couples. The room was clean and comfortable with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, hair dryer, and iron. The parking lot is small, but we had no issues finding a spot each day. The neighborhood is wonderful and this hotel is a good value.

I would give this hotel a minus star. Extremely not recommended. When I called Days Inn beforehand arrival and the guy who picked up the phone said there was a room available. While I arrived, there was even no staff at the front desk. While I was checking in, the guy simply gave us Room 120 which had a broken heater and air conditioner which made the room smelled extremely terrible and no air could circulate which made people hard breathe. Terrible thing when we decided to move to another and checked out this place and the front desk was locked and after a while a man with bare feet charged a night fee and tax 161.44 dollars in total. I’d liked to say to the tourists who want to choose this hotel that they should take a deep consideration.

The day we arrived we had no hot water in the bathroom. We were told at a time, that later, that if you did not step out of room, after there was no room available, after that was problem of the gas network of the whole block, so just the other day we had. The 3rd day rained and water fell from the ceiling, so we responded that we put towels on the carpet and the trash cans that later gave us more towels… Of terror! Breakfast… A coffee cookie and played. Well the garage and the location.

I will not give them a one star! Expensive, dishonest, bad place to stay! We booked and paid double queen beds but gave us double beds. We were promised to have extra bed, but nobody came to give us. Besides, where do they think to place the extra bed? You can barely move in their rooms! Parking space is not enough for all clients who are checked-in. They just allowed and accepted bookings without considering the avaibility of their not too big parking lot. Heater is not working! No internet! Needed to go to the reception. But we are too tired to even go out from our room and deal with them. If only their telephone is working… that, also, my friends, is not working! So, I ended up, crammed with my two boys in a double bed, cold, can't sleep, angry and anxious I don't recommend this hotel! Look for cheaper more reliable in the neighborhood, there are a lot.

This in a good area and it is practical to sleep in, the installation may not are the best.

It was my first time in San Francisco, and our room was nice. The hotel was located very near of all the places we wanted to visit. The only bad thing was that they didn't have much parking.

Don't count on this hotel if it is when SF has events, they can bump you out even with paid reservation. My friend arrived from Brazil after a 17 hours flight and with a paid reservation for 9 nights. She reserved through HotWire, had the printed reservation and still had to hear from Days Inn, they had nothing in their system about her reservation. It was a week you could not get any room in town for less than $600. She made her reservation on June 3rd. Lousy customer service and ethics! Beware about this hotel!

Clean and quiet rooms. Great location with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Perfect for the price! I got a deal on this room through hotels. Com and I was not disappointed. Location was close to a lot of shops, restaurants and close enough to walk to many attractions. Parking was free which was awesome because most hotels around (we found out) charge upwards of 50 bucks to park! The room was clean and fit our needs. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, they let us check in early and they also stored our bags after check out since we had a late flight. I would recommend this "no-frills" hotel.

Nice place We arrived several hours early. They graciously allowed us to check in early. The room was ready, clean and perfectly suited for a couple of weary travelers. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth the price! Will stay here again!

Some guy's shirt was still in the hotel room when we arrived. Was it even cleaned? Shower drain was not working. Bathroom door locks did not work. Tightly compact and minimal parking lots with only about 20 in total! Breakfast is a joke, it is really just sweet bread, tea, hot chocolate, coffee, and juice. If you want any decent service do not come here!

We found a good price for the hotel, this super well located, the rooms are like, have individual bath, the only problem by which I do not put 5 stars, that the person who towards the toilet touched the door until one responded, being that we had Put the sign "Do Not Disturb", when abriamos the door we noticed that they removed the sign from the door. Apart says free breakfast, but nose to be called breakfast a cup of coffee and a cake in a bag, which does not fill anyone. That was the worst, otherwise everything would have been excellent.

Good location clean and comfortable rooms is oara be oaso to make base and travel.

All perfect in terms of service and parking, but a little loose in the rooms. They were very girls and some things that didn't work as a ceiling light and hairdryer.

Located in the District of the marina with many options of food around.

Extremely friendly and helpful host. The rooms are smaller, but are very clean. Couldn't ask for more!

Not a good place to stay! … We were told check in was at 2 which is not true, they won't let u until after 3. Parking is very limited. We asked the "manager" where there was a 24 hour parking where we could leave our car and he was not helpful at all didn't even tell us where. Luckily someone left and we got a spot 4 hours later after we got there. The room had a weird smell, the light in the Bathroom didn't work so there was a lamp. Breakfast IS NOT INCLUDED! not even coffee. I will not be staying here ever again and don't recommend it at all. Next time I go to SF I rather pay for a hotel a bit more expensive where the service is good!

My first time going to San Francisco with my boyfriend & this had to be the best hotel we chose! Great area and once we were done exploring during the day, we went back to park and walked to a yummy restaurant within walking distant and went for drinks at a few bars after. Very convenient because there didn't have to be a "designated driver". Anywho, the room was small but weren't looking for anything big. After all it was only a party of 2. Will definitely be back in town soon and booking here!

The room is clean and the service is friendly. However… There are fewer parking places than there are rooms, so it's a crap shoot as to whether you will get one. The free Wi-Fi mostly does not work. The toilet flushing sound is so loud it both startles you and hurts your ears. The motion sensor light switches have a super bright laser LED that flashes every time you move in the dark.

From check-in to check-out this place was great! The staff were VERY helpful, accommodating and understanding. With limited parking all around the city, there were always enough spaces. When things got tight, they made room. The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. Not sure about all the rooms, but our bathroom was HUGE! Cool neighborhood a block away. Lots of unique shops and food for every price range and taste. Over the last two years we have had to take multiple trips up to this area, not for fun, and I only wish we would have found this place earlier. Thank you to the whole Days Inn San Francisco — Lombard St Staff. You guys rock!

At first glance everything seemed fine, no complaints, the room was a great deal for the price. However when we decided to go to bed we found that there was no fitted sheet on the bed, just a mattress cover. Tried to call the office, but there was no answer. Went down to the office and it was locked up. Apparently if anything goes wrong after 10:15 pm, you're out of luck.

Horrible horrible and just one word horrible. We reserved a room in this hotel month in advance. Upon arrival on Christmas eve we learned that heater in our room was not working. After informing front desk, front desk refused to even look at heater or offer any service. They refused to change our room. They even had nerve to offer us blankets to freeze to death in 39 degrees! We had two kids and we were told that we can leave their hotel and find another place but they will not offer us another room! We had to run to near by motel to find one that had room on Christmas. Horrible customer service offered by management. Do not recommend this one for family.

The location is good. Close to Fisherman's Wharf and Golden Gate Bridge. The room was clean. Seeing as this is a low cost hotel, it is not surprising that there are no frills, it has what you need, however, the towels were not good at all! You don't even get a full set of towels. We had two, small and thin, bath towels, one hand towel and one wash cloth. We asked the front desk for an extra towel and wash cloth the next morning and were told that they would tell the cleaning service to leave them, never got them. The service at the front desk is almost non existent. The door is always locked, you have to knock and wait for someone to show up. As a matter of fact, when I asked for the towels, I was answered by a lady standing at the door to the back office, never bothered to come out and get my information, I had to yell my room number as she was closing the door.
