Victory Hotel Galou Hotel

Unfortunately, this hotel does not get a very good review from us. We stayed there for three nights. The beds were very lumpy and the blankets were dirty. The mirror in the bathroom was barely hanging on the wall and there was broken glass on the floor. The room smelled like sewage. The staff was very nice! But that is kind of the only thing about this hotel that was good. The Wi-Fi wasn't working in the room for the first two days either. There was no AC (but, I don't remember if they said they had AC or not). Someone knocked on our door at 3 am and woke us up, but then no one was there when we answered.

It's pretty good for the money. You wont pay much so you won't get much. Good to sleep, no noises pretty friendly staff.

Helpful service, reasonable price, modest conditions, room smelled of cigarettes.

Cheap and close to many touristy things, but tiny room and we brought flees home from this place in our luggage, so beware.

Personale molto disponibile, anche se parla solo in francese. Buona camera, non perfetta nella pulizia. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Hotel Spartan Cleanliness in the average friendly staff located in the centre of Paris near Metro exit and Paris Nord train station where the TGV and Thalis arrive. Two stops. Low prices for Paris minimum but good breakfast.

Not clean, tiny shower. Quilt hole. No hair dryer. Door that does not stop squeaking.

Very disappointed with this hotel.
A really difficult welcome and a payment worthy of a cartoon sketch. They are unable to understand what a bill is for.
The place really does hide-misery, with the apparent cables, the paint half finished and the holes in the walls hidden by furniture, surely found in a landfill.
They are certainly cheaper than the competition, but it does not require to do anything.
I just felt like I was in a building under construction, far from over.
That's a No for me.

Stayed there when in Paris. The only ptoblem was it was very hard to find since it is not at the main rd.

Only positive close to metro. It will also be economical but very unfriendly, cold rooms and heating is not working. Although we did not do anything. They didn't even have the receipt. The Wi-Fi at 4 and 5 plan doesn't work. Only if you have a one night stand.

Only 3 minutes walk from Château d'Eau Metro station exit at (Rue de Strasbourg) minutes walk to the hotel (landmark — MCG furniture shop at the corner, turn right in to Passage de l'Industrie) Friendly and helpful staff. Good stay for Asian countries like Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, and European countries. Conveniently located (100m) to many bistros, cafes, pastry shops at Rue du Faubourg Saint-Dennis (intersection of Passage de l'Industrie) and many indian, turkish, arabs and 'halal' restaurants at (Passage Brady) next to the hotel. There is also a value for money (super savers) mart called LIDL located at Rue de Strasbourg near the hotel. No lift. Only walk-up stairs (17 steps per floor) in this 5 storey building. Overall a good value for money hotel.

Located a few meters from the metro in central area of Paris. Poor service, though for how much you pay is very good. Gracious hosts.

Good location, can walk into city if you like and there's pubs and late-night eateries just around the corner. Simple room without a view but good views are rare in Paris I believe, possibly due to building regulations. Good customer service with TV, fan and bathroom — found it to be great value for a single room.
