This place has been such a blessing! Spotlessly clean… especially for a motel built in 1953! The river & her families of geese are right outside our doors. Hostess/owner has been so helpful & sweet. HIGHLY recommend!

First time staying today. Took wife bike riding around the Smokys and remembered hearing about this place. Stopped by and got lucky with a cancellation. Very nice rooms and very clean. Highly recommend!

We spent the past weekend here. Arrived late Friday, we’d called that we would be late, so the office stayed open until we got there. We found our room to be spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. Room included a king bed, 2 recliners, small fridge, microwave and a coffee maker. Bathroom was small, but more than adequate.
Walking distance to downtown Bryson City. We had breakfast (twice) at Everett St Diner — HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We also spent one evening at Mountain Layers Brewing, we’ve visited there several times in the past and always enjoy it.
Overall — great value for a nice spot in the mountains. We’ll definitely be back.

We booked the last room they had left and I’m so glad that we were able to stay here. We loved the fact the lodge backs up to the river with chairs and picnic tables for us to use. The rooms are clean and cozy. The location is close to everything. Thank you Rod and Melissa for a wonderful stay. We will return.

Highly recommend this place, very clean, gorgeous view and convenient to everything, already made a return reservation, you will not be disappointed.

Very clean and well kept. Owners are very friendly and accommodating! Rooms are quiet and nice views of the river. Very close to downtown Bryson City and all the area attractions.

Amazing. Cute little cabin right on the beautiful Tukesseegee River. Hosts are really nice. Cabin has all the basics plus a charcoal grill! Will definitely stay here again.

My wife and I are here now for our 34th anniversary. We are loving it. Clean rooms, nice bed, great fishing, and near everything. Two things that keeps it from being 5+ and that is better access to water while fishing and a little noisy at times due to the road traffic but we will be back next time we are up this way for sure. Owners very friendly.

We stayed here for the Memorial weekend. It’s amazing. Very nice and super relaxing view of the river. The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable too. Melissa and Rod were very nice and accommodated all of our needs without any problems. We definitely will be back. Thank you so much.

It is a very small room in a building with several of them. It is right next to the river. It is a great place to stay for a couple. It is family operated and not like a typical hotel. It is kind of hard to get in and out of the parking lot but we really liked staying here.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Great river view with a nice outdoor area. (It rained our entire stay and we were not able to fully enjoy. No fault of the facility. ) Price was reasonable. Everyday we received fresh towels and room was freshened. Close to downtown. Definitely recommend if you just want a place to rest while you enjoy exploring the area. Everyone was friendly.

Older place that has been kept up pretty well. Prices are fair for what it is. We stayed in the cottage that has two beds, one pull-out couch, a small kitchen, and one bathroom. It was clean and well kept. Nice view of the river. The whole place is wedged in between the road and the river, but the road noise was surprisingly minimal. I don't suggesting going in there with any size trailer. Getting out is tricky with limited visibility in both directions.

Great little old school stay! Right around the corner from eveything including the Bryson City Railroad. Nice, secluded, quiet, VERY CLEAN and beautiful location with awesome river front view. Definitely staying here again!

Old fashioned down home friendly place. The owners were very helpful. The room we had was the last one available for the weekend we were there & it was pretty small but very clean. The lodge is only about 3 mins from downtown Bryson City. Would stay again.

I've been twice and it has been terrific both times. Planning to go back at some point. Both times, the rooms were exceptionally clean. Definitely recommend.

We stayed in the cabin Monday night and loved it! It was so peaceful sitting out by the river. Would recommend Riverbend to everyone.

Awesome little hotel find! Great price. The bed was so comfortable and the shower had great water pressure and hot water that lasted. The owners were super nice. My husband and I also hold hotels/motels to really high cleanliness standards and we were so pleasantly surprised at how spotless and clean the room and sheets were! We would definitely stay here again.

We had an awesome time! The owners are incredibly nice! The rooms were perfect! Clean, not crowded and lots of space to relax and fish right in the back yard! We will definitely be coming back here!

This is the third time we have been to Riverbend. It is very clean and comfortable. The owners are super kind and helpful. Having a big grocery store very close is extra convenient to pick up things for a BBQ. Sitting outside by the river is so relaxing.

Rooms are very clean and have a feeling of home. People that own are very nice. Could not have had a better place to stay. Only thing missing was a small pool. Will stay here again.

What a great place by a serene river. We came for the weekend to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle. What a great decision. The new owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I would recommend this stop to anyone who travels this way. Clean rooms great outdoor askew by the river.

Amazing location especially considering the price. New owners are extremely nice and helpful. The river behind the hotel provides great views as well as great opportunities. There's multiple grills if you feel like cooking something for yourself and the rooms are very spacious. I would definitely stay again and will recommend to any friends in the area.

We happened upon this place totally by accident, but it was one of the favorite stops on our trip through NC. The rooms were clean, the river view was unobstructed and relaxing and the owners were kind and helpful. Great room rate too. I'd absolutely stay here again if I'm in the area.

Great little place to stay. Not your big chain hotel. Clean rooms, good views of the river and the owners are great people. A group of friends have stayed there many times. Will be heading back that way soon. Close to the center of town.

A great place to stay the night! We would stay here again. The price was lowest in town, the room was clean, and the view was great! Would recommend to anyone staying in Bryson City. The only reason we didn't give it a 3 out 3 was the bed was a little stiff for our liking, but that's a gamble at any hotel/motel.
