Jaques was great and the shop is crammed full of amazing old gear. He took the time to carefully pick out matching wheels from his large collection of 40 yr old G&S stock. A short walk from the Eurostar and definitely worth visiting if you’re into vintage gear/magazines etc.

Jacques is tops in his business. I bought a FIBREFLEX deck from him a couple of years ago and can attest to his absolute professionalism. Responds to messaging quickly, and answers all questions thoroughly. A+++

Amazing selection of original skateboards from the golden era's of the sport, great service too!

What a cool shop! Makes me proud to be a California Girl. Jacques was kind enough to give me a few minutes even though nothing he had in the shop could fit in my suitcase.

So much cool skate memorabilia, friendly owner Jacques sorted me out with a signed Jim Phillips screaming hand print. Will take pride of place on the wall at home. Will be back for more vintage treats on my next trip to Paris! :-)

Tout tombe en ruine dans la salle de bain… Câbles électriques apprents, tiroirs qui tombent les ouvrant… VMC sale cuvette des toilettes qui n'est pas bien fixée… Lavabo fissuré. Quartier très bruyant et pas de volets à la fenêtre… Bref à éviter.

Advertisement false rotten hotel that does not respect any hygiene conditions. Unsanitary room with poor security conditions. Personal who don't really care about the condition of the room. I had to refrain from showering during my stay there, i. E. 1 night when I had reported the dirt in it (yellow stained blanket, yellow stains on the sheets, white towels turned brown with dirt, black wall of moisture, disgusting floor, fat everywhere, no changes made on my return except a blanket remove. The staff thinks we're jerks! To avoid everything taken!

Hyper noisy area and a bit rotten hotel. Nice staff. I didn't want to try breakfast.

The right place to be if you think you know the history of skate. If not than you have to stop by to check out some good oldies!

Hotel to avoid. It's almost unsanitary. A lot of noise. No breakfast while Booking provides.

Horrible, dirty, sheets not change, hair in bed + oreaole appears on the sheets to advise.

Avoid this hotel if you're traveling with family.

Okay to stay when you are on a really really low budget! Not clean but really helpful staff… must speak French if you need to communicate with them.

Cleanliness — you can see a nice lady working hard to clean the hotel, though the hotel itself is just so old and scummy, there's nothing much she can do I think the bed had mites.

I was twice in this establishment and I was well received and I had no problem.

Jacques knows more about California skater roots than any other Frenchman, and virtually all young Locals. … from a guy that skated in the era of the original Dog Towners, had first run of G&S yo-yo wheels, first commercial production of Sims snow board, etc.

Got there to find that had forgotten my reservation. Apparently I was "lucky" they had a spare room. While place need a clean, stairs/corridors are a mess. Power sockets hanging of the wall in my room. Staff seemed surprised I would want breakfast, although that was fine in the end. In fact the breakfast is the redeeming feature. Worst though is the noise — you hear everything on a very noisy street.

Worse you can not have! The only good thing is that it is close to the Metro but for the rest but really sucks! Nn never change the sheets, the first day I found the sheets dirty with blood!

You don't go to Paris for the hotel, you go for the sights. Great service, plus there are bake shops and restaurants and groceries near here. And it is also near the subway. Definitely would stay here again.

Too bad a lot of the product is unauthorized reproductions. My father founded G&S surfboards and skateboards and our family, has put in a lot of hard work into the brand for 57 years and to have our brand ripped off like that is not right, not legal and not soulful.

Great location by 2 metros, tons of cafes, and grocery stores near by. The North Africans won't bother you, just keep walking by. Very safe and staff was very friendly. Would stay again.

They were very cool with me and I was there to recover the body of my son who died in the streets of Paris.

Without doubt the worst hotel in Paris. Really bad area, very intimidating.

This is cheap hotel and you get what you pay for. For the price paid place is ok. Area not very pleasant but quite central, close to metro and again for the price paid must be ok. Good, friendly service, some emplpyee don't speak english but try to help as much as possible. Overal good place for people on limited budget who need just a place to sleep.
