Clean and tidy staff nice and helpful.

We stayed for 4 nights could not find any faults. Lovely room, Staff very helpful and friendly nothing to much trouble. The food was excellent cannot wait to to go back and stay next year.

Had a lovely overnight stay in this hotel. Just a few minutes walk from Theatre Royal and loads of eating places. Hotel was spotless, brilliant bed, good quality bedding super shower. Staff all lovely, especially the lovely lady who gave us fresh milk in a lovely milk jug. Will deffo return Stayed in superior room and was very nice.

Absolutely brilliant place, very helpful friendly staff all round. Not once in the 3 days we were there was any staff ignorant or self centred. Clean, comfortable rooms with everything you could possibly need. We will definitely return.

We highly recommend Best Western Plus Nottingham City Centre to host and celebrate your wedding. From the first day of meeting Paulina and choosing our date to the invaluable advice whilst planning our day, they made it so easy. Our day itself was magical. The hotel looked beautiful, all staff members were fantastic, so helpful and friendly. We never expected our day to be so stress free, all of our guests had a fabulous time. Thank you Paulina, Andrew and team, you are absolutely fantastic at what you do!

Receptionist who checked us in and out very friendly and polite. No bar available until after 5pm then told we should have had a memo from reception saying there was a private party so wouldn’t be able to use it later. Now what can be said about the young lady serving in the bar — rude so rude don’t think she knew what a smile was slammed drinks down on bar. Not an ideal candidate for working in hospitality. We ordered breakfast in bed for Saturday morning which was late and wanted to book again for Sunday but told we shouldn’t have had it on Saturday so cannot have Sunday. Will definitely not be returning.

V dissapointed, will email direct. Room unclean and generally not the best western standards we are used to. Breakfast costly, yet plates given hadnt been washed properly. Im not usually one to complain, but needed to on this occasion.

Stayed in a superior room and definitely met our expectations. Bed and pillows were very comfortable, shower was amazing and would definitely recommend this hotel, especially with the good location. If we’re staying in Nottingham again it would definitely be here.

Amazing location in city… parking is nearby and staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and incredibly helpful… wonderful facilities in the room and modern clean presentation… didnt use the restaurant but wish I had, heard it was very good too.

Nice clean hotel, very comfortable beds, not a great view from our room it looked onto the back of another hotel, bar was very badly stocked and the pints of Heineken were flat. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location was within walking distance of pubs, restaurants etc.

Nice, comfortable, clean rooms. Restaurant and bars on site. Easy walking distance from the centre of Nottingham and literally around the corner from Rock City and the theatre. Staff were fab. Limited parking on site (room for 12 cars), but they have a deal with Q-Park, less than 100 yards away, that keeps the cost of parking down. Had a great stay here.

Decent hotel. We'll placed centrally in Nottingham with good access for the tram. A short walk into the city centre also. The breakfasts were good and the rooms comfortable if not just a bit noisy from the road outside.

Thank you to all of the staff that were involved in making our Wedding the best day ever. You all did a fantastic job, nothing was too much trouble. From the point of us choosing the Best Western Hotel as our Wedding venue, right up to us checking out you have all been amazing. All food served throughout was beautiful and the cleanliness of the hotel was spot on.

You have to steal Wi-Fi from the hotel across the road. Having arrived at just gone 5pm the staff already seemed distracted and over worked. I didn't think much of it but as soon as I tried to settle in my room I realised the Wi-Fi didn't work (big issue for anyone, both for personal devises and for work commitments). After checking with the staff even they had to admit that the company have done nothing to improve the service available in the rooms here. I hear on the grapevine you need to walk outside and pinch a signal from crown plaza across the road. Rooms are clean and well located for city centre… It's just a shame I'd have better connectivity in the Aucklands Islands. I.

Was allocated a new refurbished superior room. Lovely decor, spacious room, and one of the best showers ive ever had. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel and staff, but restaurant was poor, menu was take away meals from a choice of four or five outlets delivered to your table in the aluminium trays, our meal from two different take away arrived at different times, we will not be staying for breakfasts.

Went on a stag do. It's been recently refurbished and it's hood. It gets five stars because there were tinned tomatoes in the buffet breakfast. A rare thing these days.

Service was good, rooms were good, location was okay. Very thin walls and being right outside the nightlife centre did not make for a good sleep.

Helpful staff, clean rooms and good service. Only drawback was you have to book car park in advance but couldn't see that as a requirement on the website.

Clean and spacious. However very noisy as it's right in the centre of the city. Hearing and air con loud. Council clock nearby chimes hourly. Could hear traffic and drunk youths at 4 am in the morning so I didn't get a good night's sleep. Food stone cold when delivered to room. Hotel very hard to find on a one way system. I booked the hotels car park as I was staying alone on a business trip. This was a nightmare as limited spaces all in tight spots with billards everywhere.

Nice spacious room with massive bed. Clean tidy with tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits. Great location for Rock City. Parking is a bit of a walk away. Breakfast was ok but plenty of choice along with the worst coffee I've had in ages!

Stayed over night as went to a gig near by, hotel was clean and tidy and service was polite and efficient. Only down side, when we got back to the hotel after the gig there was no room service nor an open bar for a drink-bit disappointing.

Staff very friendly and attentive, cooked breakfast was good quality and well made and large comfortable room and bed. Good central location for shops and bars. Overall great value for money and recommended.

Quiet place, very nice staff and very convenient for those who have to turn in downtown a 20 minute walk from the train station.

Great visit to this hotel. Had a 2 night stay. Location ideal to the center of Nottingham. Room (a superior) was spacious and well furnished. Staff were courteous and professional. Breakfast options were plentiful and tasty (love the toaster conveyor belt! ). Made our stay that much more enjoyable. Would recommend!

Brilliant hotel, rooms very spacious, beds are enormous, hotel staff very friendly, knowledgeable and polite, good range of breakfast choices, both continental and good ol English, less than 5 minute walk to rock city and a few steps from the tap and tumbler, tram service at the end of street takes you straight to train station for a couple of pounds and 10 minute walk to town centre.

Too many English as a second language staff who did not understand what they were being asked, nor respond well in English. Worn out mattress with groaning and loose springs. Cooked breakfast was cold. Closed windows very draughty. Room for 3 only had 2 glasses and 2 teaspoons.

Flood and service was great. Rooms were nice :) worth the night out.

Central location. Busy city centre with large student population. Great selection of pubs and restaurants. Nightmare one way system which makes trying to park at the hotel's affiliated car park (Q-Park) difficult. Food equivalent to a budget hotel, plenty very good restaurants to choose from within walking distance. Good service, friendly staff.

Attended a conference here, they did very well. Rooms are great. Parking is a nightmare, as is finding the hotel.

The room's air conditioner sounded like a pneumatic drill and the windows let in noise from the street below, which made regulating the room's temperature hard. The room was clean ad well equipped. Breakfast was generous and of good quality.

Brill location right on the middle of the city, parking was easy to find. Room was clean stay were helpfull would defo stay there again, price was very reasonable.

Only paid 44 pounds for the room but it wasn't worth it. Room was dirty and the view was appalling. The walls needed a good paint. Would never stay again.

Nice friendly staff, very clean room and lots of space. Great bathroom. Veggie burger for dinner was awful but rest of food really good. Quite incongruous.

This is one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. While the rooms were clean I was originally in the 3rd floor which was dated, but spacious. I then went out for dinner and a drink. Returned to the room and tried to sleep, however the bed was horrible and had springs digging into my back. Was then 'upgraded' to an 'executive' room. Which while not dated had a similar terrible bed — this however did not actually dig into my back as the previous one did so decided not to check out at 11pm. Will probably find somewhere else for the following night. Also the corridors on the upgraded floor seemed to smell of paint.
