Hotel was great. Location is one of the best things about this hotel and it’s one you will never forget. The subway entrance is across the street and it’s a main line but not a busy stop. Most food is in walking distance. Herrods is in walking distance. And most shops are in walking distance. A slight problem that we had was we left our bag in the room after we checked out. I went up to get it after we realized on the subway. The problem I have is that my key still worked after the time we checked out, and the bag was still in the room after the room steward cleaned the room. I would have thought 1) my to not work and 2) the steward to bring the bag down to the front desk. Other than that was a awesome hotel.

Despite some minor drawbacks, we mostly enjoyed our 5-night stay at the Crowne Plaza Kensington. The hotel property and rooms were clean and comfortable. We chose this hotel for the double bed family rooms, which was surprisingly spacious. I really liked that breakfast was included so that was quite convenient and a peace of mind when starting our day. Location was superb as the hotel is located across the Gloucester tube station, half a block away from the hop-on hop-off bus stops, and a short walk to Harrods and other shops. My only issue was with housekeeping. Our room included two complimentary bottles of still water upon check-in. The bottles were replenished on the second day but were forgotten on the third, forth and fifth day. Perhaps it was because we had purchased additional bottles of still water (which were stored in the mini fridge) but that doesn't negate our entitlement to the complimentary water each day during our stay. My husband had to purchase two bottles from the front desk one evening at £2 a bottle since Boots pharmacy across the street closes at 8pm and we previously purchased their remaining stock in the cooler. Housekeeping also didn't bother cleaning/replacing the used mugs and spoons. By the fifth day of our stay, we had a closet full of (four) used mugs that had been there for three days. Granted we could have easily rinsed them for re-use (which I did on our last night) but the onus should have been on housekeeping and not the guests.

Great location, 20 minutes or less by underground to most all key tourist attractions. Three minute walk from Gloucester Road station. The hotel and our room is updated, modern and clean. Our standard room was perhaps 2/3 the size of the same room in North America. But that's the way buildings are constructed in the UK as space is at a premium. Great housekeeping service. Friendly desk staff, very helpful concierge. We would return again.

I had an event there and due to some circumstances had to move one of the events dates and they refused to move the date for the event, even though we had paid in full upfront then refused to move our event date when we were going to be longer term clients. Lots of potential with this hotel but the management need long term business and relationship building training. I will never use this hotel again until they realise how to treat their customers with respect especially when they're bringing lots of money in. Too bad they lost out on lots of business we'll find somewhere else.

Nice little hotel, rooms are a tad small, good for single or two people, close to Underground. Shower door allowed water to leak all over floor, be careful of that issue.

Lovely, comfortable hotel in a great location. Just across the street from the Gloucester station, so easy to get around London. I would recommend joining the hotel's loyalty club; the extra benefits (breakfast and evening drinks) definitely make it worth it. The rooms are well appointed. The bed is very comfortable.

Came here for afternoon tea in their library room. Was a quiet, relaxed environment with a good view of their garden. Scones were delicious — sandwiches and desserts satisfactory. Recommended.

I stayed here last March in a business trip and enjoyed my stay. The location of the hotel is very convenient near to the Hyde park and Harrods. The rooms although small in size but are cuzy and comfortable. We used the business facilities for our meeting and we liked them. The restaurant also was very good with many healthy food choices.

We had a lovely stay here this weekend whilst visiting the Royal Albert Hall. We were upgraded to an executive room, which was lovely. The staff were very polite and helpful, and the location is excellent. Directly opposite Gloucester Road Tube Station.

Great little hotel with good gym with plenty of weights and the secret garden is a must visit! Deserve a closer look if you plan to stay in this part of London.

Excellent location for the West end, plenty of restaurants in walking distance, rooms are nice and clean, good breakfast and the quickest room service I've ever encountered, easy check in, no car park so you have to use the local NCP but the bays are free on Saturday afternoon and all day Sundays. We had dinner at the Umani restaurant which was nice, all the staff were very helpful.

It was good and all but we got moved from The City which had water damage in some of the rooms. This means we got a little less than what we paid for but the overall service was great. The breakfast was in reasonable times and the Wi-Fi on the room was great for a hotel. The beds were comfortable and cleaned everyday. Although everytime they cleaned they turned off the AC which was annoying.

My family and I stayed for a week on vacation — the first time traveling outside of the US. The concierge service was wonderful. Excellent breakfast every morning with friendly and courteous wait staff. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. It was in a great location — 3 min walk to the Tube and had restaurants all around. I would stay in this hotel again if I go back to London. I've recommended it to others already.

Beautiful food and drink. In street parking before 6.30 however, which can prove expensive. Room prices are overpriced because of location.

Attended friend's leaving drinks. Amazing place with a lovely garden with massive cool looking gazebo (yes can be used while its raining). They have got happy hour from 18.00 till 19.00 and all drinks are 40% cheap.

Great location for Exhibition Road area museums (Natural History, Science, V&A, etc), Gloucester Road tube, numerous shops, restaurants and so on. Family rooms are ideal with two double beds, good a/c, opening windows, plenty of amenities and a big TV. Bar is nice and the hidden surprise is a huge rear garden where juniors can run a bit riot without annoying other guests in the outdoor bar smoking area. Staff are excellent. Recommended.

I stayed here a month ago in the disabled room and it was fantastic. Easy to roll in and out of the room, very accessible shower, and lovely beds. The staff were very helpful and were very quick to operate the small lift next to the stairs. Only let down was the eggs at breakfast they were watery and rubbery.

Great location, with lots of conveniences nearby. Not very close to many of the primary tourist attractions, but those are easily reachable by public transportation, or through private tour companies.

Great hotel. Very helpful staff, they are amazing. Not to mention the support and the fundraising the manager did for Grenfell Tower. The hotel is very well located on Cromwell road with shops restaurants and supermarkets in immediate distance. Not seen the rooms myself however the function rooms and lobby are very stylish.

Room was comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok but considering the high room rates I expected better: No table service, hot food wasn't very good. Breakfast finished at 10am which is a bit early.

We stayed in March 2017 for a week. It was a great choice. Safe, clean area for food and shopping. Also great transportation options from here including the tube station close. Great breakfast with lots of options. Staff was the best and really impressed us.

In this hotel great, location best. The room was quiet, the sleep is easy. Breakfast is delicious, and distance to subway station only a few steps away. It's liveable, worth it!

Geographical position superior, close to Gloucester Station is very close. Staff attitude friendly, the rooms very clean. But I'll check in. When I ran into a problem, we were told that it is overbooked. So, that night, no room can give us (we are two couples, booked two rooms, for two nights. It).

I recently because in London, for tourism reasons in this house for five nights. The hotel is a convenient Subway Station, Gloucester Road. From this station to all the main attractions are very convenient. To the hotel from the Museum and Kensington Palace and gardens are close by. Huge room, to the comfortable facilities, water pressure good and the bathroom is also very nice. (In particular, I was in the front street, beautiful party stay at a hotel for two nights, where the rooms were small and the water pressure and water temperature are unstable). Expensive tourist hotel in South Kensington. Small rooms. Not enough reception staff when I stayed meant a long wait to check in and out.

Great hotel, 50 metres from Gloucester Road tube station, rooms for four people "deluxe double bedded" very welcoming and spacious although bathroom a bit small. Cleaning ok. Good breakfast, excellent cappuccino to be ordered at the table at no extra charge. Concierge efficient and courteous. A few steps from Harrods and a few hundred metres from Westminster Abbey and Buckingham palace. In the area there are pubs, restaurants and convenience stores. Highly recommended.

We LOVED the Crowne Plaza! As soon as I walked into the lobby, I liked the hotel. And when we first walked into the room, I loved it! Clean, white, fresh, pristine linens on the bed. We evidently had a "deluxe" room so I don't know what a "standard" room would be like. We had excellent service (the maid, concierge, front desk). Very nice! The hotel is conveniently located, just a few steps from the Gloucester Road underground terminal and within walking distance of several museums. Good cafes and restaurants nearby.

This hotel should be way nicer than it is. The A/C in our room was not working and there was no way for them to fix it until the next morning when maintenance got in at 9 AM. Who does not have people on call for problems such as these? It was miserable trying to sleep with that much heat and humidity. Our shower door was missing a seal on it that caused the water to just pour out onto the floor. They were never able to resolve this. Their answer to our problems was to just shove points our direction.

Very nice location, walking distance to Hyde Park and Kensington Palace Gardens, the V&A Museum, etc. Located 1 block from the Gloucester Road tube station with direct connection to tourist/business/govmnt areas of London and Heathrow airport. Modern lobby, amenities and rooms. Lovely 2 story luxury suites, hotel upgraded us for most of our 5 day stay due to overbooking (no extra cost and manager apologized for moving us). Standard room is smallish/typical for London, modern and comfortable/clean. I am surprised at other comments, staff was excellent and very responsive. Breakfast is extra, but surrounding area has multiple breakfast cafes.

Nice hotel in a good location next to gloucester road station. Rooms are a decent size and clean. The restaurant is great, especially the dinner which is based on different oriental cooking. The staff are very helpful and accomodating. We had no problems when we stayed at all.
