Most of the staff are overworked and you can see that in how they deal with customers. Have had no fault with check in, the lady was lovely and friendly. The problem is after checking in I found out towels are not included, this is a negative considering I paid 78 for 1 night, the same price at a hotel would have given me a towel. First time booking at a hostel and this was not clear on booking. The price for a towel was reasonable at £1. Again another problem, due to a proper schedule or overbooking I was told there was no towel available until 1-2 hours. A bit of let down after checking in at night and having to check out by 10am. The thing I liked about the hostel was the armosphere, and the fact they run a charity breakfast for a good cause between 8-10am. My advice never book the ensuite rooms available or travel here in a couple it's not worth it. My partner was not happy and she made she sure I wasn't either. Thank you for unforgettable experience.

This was by far the worst hostel that I've ever been to. The rooms were gross and hadn't been cleaned especially the floors, bathroom, and beds. My bed luggage storage was broken. There were actual booger stains on the floor and on the wall by my bunk. The floor was disgusting and had food on it when I first arrived. On top of that I was stuck sleeping on the 4th floor and there's no lift or elevator. The luggage storage is really small and your luggage is just squished inside. The surrounding neighborhood was safe and nice, but the inside of this hostel is really dirty. Would never stay here ever again.

This is what I would call your standard great hostel. It has many good large common area like the kitchen, dining room, and main room. The rooms are a good size and the beds are well constructed so they don't creak or more any unnecessary noises. The bathrooms are clean, numerous, and well stocked. The only downside is the very slow Wi-Fi. It's not unusable but don't expect anything picture heavy to work quickly. Happy enough that I would come back. I stayed in a 4 person room.

Nice hostel in good location with good communal facilities. Kitchen, dining room and lounge are well equipped and comfortable. However, the beds are super uncomfortable and feel like a slab of hard polystyrene. Plus they are pretty short so anyone over six foot will not be able to sleep with with their legs straight. The room I was in had two lockers under each bunk but three beds stacked so hopefully there are more lockers elsewhere.

Excellent hotel, very good price and very central. It is clean and the staff is nice. Comfortable beds. A good place if you want to save a bit on the accommodation at the Caro London.

Not luxurious but in a great part of London just near the V&A, staff friendly and place seemed to be kept clean. Room could get a bit stuffy — nothing opening the window for a brief minute couldn't fix — and it was a shame there weren't outlets next to the bed, but otherwise great. £1 charity breakfast was a great way to start the day; with a full stomach and extra change in your pocket.

The hostel is like a hostel, nothing extra. 4th in the room. So that's the norm. Bathroom/WC shared on the floor. Total rooms on the floor pieces 3-4. There were only camel, so you can live) the price was the deciding factor, visited there and in other hostels, but to find there nice and inexpensive hard.

Really good location, close to Hyde Park and lots of museums. Rooms are nice and there's a very well equipped kitchen.

Amazing place to stay when on a budget. The service was amazing, there was always someone to talk to at reception. Got to leave my luggage overnight with no additional costs! The people I were staying with were so sweet and kind. The showers and bathrooms could do with a renovation however.

Lovely, quaint property in a not-so-great location in London (public transport is close by, but there aren't many places within walking distance). Friendly staff, clean rooms, spacious kitchen and a whole lot of free services that most other hostels in London would charge for (locks for the safes, luggage storage…). One warning: lots of stairs, no lifts. If you have accessibility requirements, then this place is not for you. One bummer: you can't book this place if you're 40yo or older. This seems to be a thing in many hostels in London, and it honestly puzzles me.

Verry rude staff, ended up kicking me out because I wasnt socialising with them.

I only spent time in the common room, but it was lovely — wood-paneled, leather sofas and armchairs, tasteful decoration, a bookshelf, plus a protector and screen for movie nights. Hopefully the rest of the facility is similarly nice!

A nice hostel great location, the staff are very friendly and attentive. However I did spend the night without a pillow after I asked for one as mine seemed to be missing. However I have had this before in other hostels so not a big issue for me. The breakfast was nice and was great that they put the money towards charity. I will definitely come back next time I'm in London.

I want to emphasize that the staff seems extremely friendly and accommodating. Check in was speedy and amicable and when we wound up quitting early they cheerfully refunded us for some of the unstayed nights. That being said… We got a room on the fourth floor. While it could well be that this was the worst of all worlds, it meant for a stifling room that was absolutely baking at night. The hostel provided two fans to try and keep air circulating, but ten beds means you're going to have people squabbling over whether the fan should be on or not. Bathrooms often develop water slicks from where shower runoff skips over the rubber mesh mats and is blocked from draining. Soap containers are open top, which is a bit gross. The beds are very small and thin, but the pillows get special mention for being woefully inadequate. Those are part and parcel of a hostel, so I didn't mind that immensely — — what did get me was the underbed wire lockers, which are finicky to wrestle open and closed at the best of times, but also don't afford much protection for smaller items. The location is good and security is fine enough outside the odd lockers. Wouldn't stay here during summer for sure but might be better in cooler times.

Its good. Old historical building, so it is of course not super modern. If u want super modern, u must go to the generator. The location is great, but its very exclusive district with many many diplomats. This means prices are high. But from here it is very easy to travel around. Many spots by walking and of course tube. rooms are ok, beds are ok, shower is well, half ok. But its cool. The staff is great. Everything is clean. i can recommend this hostel very much!

Located near imperial University this hostel, was located conveniently for going to and from Victoria station. The overall look and feel was very comfortable and the hostel had good quality Wi-Fi.

Good place to stay, in a beautiful area of London.

Great hostel and very informative staff. Every single person was willing to help and full of local to-do's. I don't think there was a single question that they could not answer. The hostel is very well kept and you can tell that they do whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable and accommodating. I worn you… the shower is smmmallllll… but your'e in a hostel not a hotel. They have daily activities for its guest as a way to unite everyone and establish some friendships while staying there.

Solid hostel. Not to far from the dt attractions but you'll need to use public transportation or a taxi to reach as it's a far walk. Staff were friendly and prices, while high, were pretty good for being in the city.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are friendly and sociable, and the location is perfect (if not a little far from a tube stop). I would definitely recommend this place if you're after a cheap bed for a night or two down in Central London.

An impeccable hostel. We were in a room for 3 people and it was quite spacious although austere in furniture.
The staff were very friendly and very helpful.
They have a spacious lounge at the entrance and the kitchen along with the dining room is also quite spacious.
The bad thing: that there are stairs, some very narrow from a certain plant and it is an effort to upload the suitcases and, well, as in these places, the "neighbors" that can touch you. The breakfast is quite simple with cereals, milk, juices and toasts but despite this, I would always recommend it.

I would have stayed longer if I'd have known how great this hostel was. The staff were super helpful and were able to lend locks and power adapters. The upstairs rooms were clean and quiet in the well-maintained, but older building, with comfortable bunk beds. The lounge and downstairs dining area made for decent spots to relax and chill with others staying at the hostel. The kitchen was supplied with free coffee and tea, and the morning breakfast was just 1£ — including bread/toast with​ jam and other spreads, cereal, milk, and juice — a useful budget option. Lots to do nearby, with the Science Museum, Natural History Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, and Hyde Park all within a few blocks, and getting everywhere else after a ~10 minutes walk to the Tube. Would definitely stay again!

I have been there for 5 days and can say for people who like to stay overnight and also like to have other people around them, this hostel is well suited. The service is very helpful and friendly. There is also a breakfast, but there are only a variety of cornflakes, toast, tea, coffee and orange juice. Axleo not necessarily for everyone. Those who do not like breakfast can also close to a baker. Maybe 5 min walk. All in all, you can definitely make it a short stay.

Very good location and excellent building. The service is good. The bathrooms are few and guys.

Good location and very affordable price also has free Wi-Fi and many services will leave the power adapter and I uieres save your bags have a small warehouse in zone 1 highly recommended there is a receptionist who is Portuguese and knows English.

The location is excellent, in a neighborhood very cute and close to Hyde Park. His staff is nice and helpful. The kitchen is excellent, perfect to save on food in London very expensive. My room was small and no table or plug sockets at each bed. Private bathroom very good. Not with a lift and has 4 floors. In general, highly recommended.

Very affordable Wi-Fi to pay money ~ breakfast is milk cereal white cut bread, set a 10 room but because there is no suitable for all 4 rooms, living in 10 but only 4 of people have good luck overall good, from the subway into.
