Great place for families to stay, very clean and great service!

We ended up here through some bad luck, we broke down at the exit! We walked down to the hotel and were met with such great hospitality! He let us know the best places to tow our vehicle for repair! Thanks so much for all your help, Jeff!

This hotel was great! Jeff B was the best part of our stay! He went above and beyond to make it the best! The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was delicious. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Thanks Jeff B! the baseball team!

Stay here for work and has been the worst as far as house keeping we switch out regularly as rooms are not cleaned no fresh towels and when we go to the front desk we are given a hard time trying to get what we need several people have had to make there own beds because they are told that housekeeping is gone for the day we work 12 hour shifts and night shift should not have to say up so housekeeping can clean the room when they want my wife and daughter work in the hospitality field and they work around the customers schedule because they is what hospitality is all about taking care of the customers and I think Hawthorn has ether forget this or there staff was never training with this mentality the rooms however are nice and beds are comfortable but is ruined by bad customer service would not stay at another Hawthorne personally nor would I recommend to any one I know.

Very clean, the room was big and had everything you'd need down to plates and silverware. The shower was really big and the bed was nice and comfortable. The front desk people were nice and accomodating, and there were beautiful outdoor spots to relax in.

The staff is very friendly and professional. Room was very clean and well maintained. Will definitely stay again!

Hotel- Hotel was nice, I travel every week and stay in a different hotel every week. It was clean and spacious. The beds slept well. Staff — Lol, now this is where it gets tricky. I had an incident where my card was charged and not my CLC card. I called when I realized that it had happened and called and spoke to the assistant manager and she said it’s be put back by that night. The next morning I checked and only $50 was put back on. So I called and the girl who answered seemed unconcerned. I asked to have the manager call me and no one ever called. It was over $450. No call back is my major concern. It’s disrespectful to your customer. Jeff — Jeff was such a pleasure and had such an upbeat personality. He was definitely a positive to this stay. He is great as the face you see when you come in. He has great customer service skills which I’m obviously a stickler for. I would hire him in a heartbeat!

Stayed here recently and needed an early check in time. The staff was able to accommodate my request. The room was very nice and very well equipped. Staff at this establishment were wonderful. I would recommend this facility.

Went to west Virginia for a funeral. Stay in this hotel for a night. Pillows were amazing, the towels are super absorbent and the breakfast was wonderful.

Very nice new hotel. Cool shower, lots of plugs in the room, Wi-Fi was good and breakfast was standard. Not a very convenient location but nice hotel.

Spacious well designed room, very clean, friendly staff, bed was firm, pillows were soft.

Was not planning on a hotel stop but got too tired to drive any further. SO glad I stopped here! Really nice room with a great bed and feather pillows (& extra blanket in the closet). Everything is very clean. All that at a very fair price.

The elevators are trying fora record in loudness. At the very end of the hallway, from inside my room I can hear the elevator chime every single time someone calls the elevator to my floor. This "brand new" hotel is built with nice looking junk, everything is very cheap here especially the walls and insulation, of which there seems to be no sound insulation since I can hear people walking on the floor above me. This is not a good hotel to get a good night sleep at. Also completely full of oilfield guys.

Quiet and comfy, the small in room kitchens and fridge that actually fit a pizza box are awesome for long term stays.

Nice small kitchen. Nice new beds. Would give it 5 stars of they would have big bath tubs along with the huge showers they have. All over though, was beautiful inside n out, ok breakfast in the morning.

Amazing service, amazing rooms. Very clean and comfortable. I work out of town and whenever I'm in the area Hawthorn is where I stay and will continue to stay. I've stayed there probably a dozen times and never had 1 complaint.

Stayed overnight after a football game in Morgantown and this was a very comfortable stay. The room was a king size and had a full kitchenette eating table lounge chair and a sizable bathroom. The kitchenette was great with everything you need to cook a small meal. Even had a full fridge and dishwasher. Good size TV in the room and the bathroom shower was very nice. If I were on one of my work trips for a few days this hotel would be perfect and make you feel like your not just staying in a hotel. Everything was nice and brand new. For the money it's hard to beat.

Excellent hotel. The rooms are amazing. Everything looks brand new. Everything is clean. Bathrooms are gorgeous. Parking spaces are a little on the small side, and expect typical hotel coffee and breakfast.

The Best! I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff is phenomenal, from the GM, to the staff behind the desk, to the cleaning staff. They are all very professional, friendly, courteous, and go way beyond to accommodate your needs! Thank you for an awesome experience.

We stayed at the Hawthorne hotel for 10 days. The hotel is new and the decor reflects a beautiful atmosphere. The staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. Upon our check in there was a minor issue with rooms. David the night manager took care of the problem and notified the general manager Sheryl, who met with us the next morning. Kevin, Amy and the cleaning ladies always greeted us. Rooms are clean, organized and stocked. Rhonda serves up a great breakfast and keeps everything nice and tidy. The location is close to food and hospitals, and 10mins from Main street. We will definitely recommend and stay at this hotel again.
