Friendly staff clean hotel. I know the breakfast is awesome.

Nice hotel with a great hot breakfast bar in the morning. This place is great for families traveling to the area for vacation or for relocation. HOWEVER THE POOL AREA NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED AND ASAP! The inside pool deck is extremely slippery when the pool is in use. My daughter was walking, with shoes on, from the door to the closest chairs and fell landing on her elbow and back. We are lucky her elbow caught the brunt of her fall and not the back of her head.

Very friendly staff here at this establishment. The breakfast is pretty standard fare with eggs, a rotating reakfast protein, yogurt, oatmeal, and waffle station. When we stayed they had coffee and hot tea available 24/7 and half bottles of water at the front desk. The rooms are large and overall comfortable. The only negative is that the bathrooms are starting to get dated with the wallpaper curling from the steam. Buildup over the years. All in all a comfortable stay with thick walls, bearly heard our neighbors in the next room who had 3 small kids.

The location was convenient to multiple restaurants and attractions. The room was large and comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was included, but it was crowded with staff having difficulty maintaining a sufficient availability of breakfast foods during the busiest times.

Second time staying here. Comfy rooms and beds. Nice staff, free breakfast. The price was great for my time here. I'd recommend if you're planning on taking a family vacation in the area and you're looking for somewhere affordable and spacious to stay.

This was a very nice hotel. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Outside of the annual fire inspection that was happening, we had a perfect time! The breakfasts are unbelievable~so delicious! This hotel is located in the center of everything. We could get to everywhere we needed to be in a matter of minutes. The staff was very courteous, more notably, the breakfast staff. Enjoyed our stay!

It was amazing the staff was friendly and very helpful! The rooms were clean and the breakfast was awesome… Also they are close to all of the nice restaurants and not too far from the outlet. I can't wait to go again.

Helpful, friendly staff. Clean modern rooms. Always a little surprise in the lobby, like fruit infused cold water, chocolate chips cookies, etc… Can't say enough good things about this hotel. Very nice and enjoyed our stay very much.

Average in most aspects. Check-in was painless and room was ready. But, hallways so hot the adhesive on room number melted and number placard fell off. When I returned in late evening, discovered deadbolt did not function and then housekeeping barged in unannounced an hour before check-out time in the morning. Manager was apologetic and polite, but not a Marriott brand experience.

Loved our stay! We come back every year for a girls shopping trip and the staff are great! Loved our room and the breakfast was great!

The employees and staff are unbelievable. They were at work for 72 hours due to winter storm and 14 inches of snow. Each and everyone one of them always had a smile and was trying to help all guest make the best of being snowed in with most or all roads closed. Calling places to see if they would deliver food, digging out guest cars from the snow, continuity mop the wet snow off lobby floor, trying to help with any guest needs. I can't say enough about this staff. Sure hope the Marriott realizes what great group of people they have working for them.

I have stayed here in the past and loved it, however, I have been calling this location the past two days trying to speak to someone about reserving a wedding block. Each time I am transferred about five times even though, I'm calling the number listed on their website for wedding blocks? Then, I am left on the phone for five to ten minutes before being hung up on. I called back and complained to the lady who transferred me, and she transferred me again, then I was transferred again by that person, to a woman who wasn't even there, which is the same thing that happened yesterday. At this point, I am fed up with this hotel. It shouldn't take this much transferring and waiting and answering machines to get two minutes worth of information.

Friendly Staff and always clean rooms. Have stayed here many times in my travel, and never disappointed.

The rooms were clean. Breakfast was amazing! Pool and hot tube was perfect! Service was wonderful!

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and personable. The room was large, clean, and nicely appointed, as well as being a good value. We only stayed one night, and I wished we'd had a longer trip planned, because I can imagine being very comfortable there for a week or more. The distance to local attractions such as Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg was short and easily negotiable. All in all, an excellent place to stay, that I would absolutely recommend. The only (negligible) cons for me were: a 4pm check-in (which was later than we wanted, but the aforementioned helpful staff fixed it for us with a phone call) and the coffee available. I'm a massive coffee snob and should have brought my own, since the coffee brewed at breakfast was a commercial blend. This was my problem, not the hotel's, hence the 5 stars. :)

The stay was good. Room was clean, all ammenaties good. Had asked for and received verbal agreement for late checkout but had cleaning crew cleaning room before checking out, better comms! Mostly fine.

The staff is attentive and professional. When I stayed on October 2015 the rates were very competitive. Having said that, the hotel is held back by infrastructure challenges that can only be solved at the corporate level. I have stayed at this hotel 3 separate times for 2 or more days over the past month. In each room there is a clock radio with an Apple adapter for an iPhone 4 with the old connector. This sends several awful unintended messages. When the clocks were installed at SpringHill Suites several years ago, they were state of the art and conveyed a "with it" vibe. Now the lack of connectivity to newer Firewire connections for iPhone 5+ (and relegating all Android users to another universe) sends the message that "we're old and stupid". Not a brand message anyone wants. Further, the clocks in all my rooms were multiple hours off with no way to reset them. I called the front desk to point out this fact. The person did his best to be helpful but it's a management challenge, not a worker issue. He said the maids unplugged the clocks to use the vacuum and, when plugged back in the clocks were wrong. I can't imagine how this issue has continued in SpringHill Suites for years without someone fixing it! Other small issues include no plastic bags for soiled laundry, biohazard on the sofa, and noisy fridges. 5 years ago the SpringHill Suite brand was attractive to me. Now, not so much.
