Very dated need work. Breakfast not good everything frozen. Rooms not comfortable. Would not stay again.

Nothing wrong with the room but not the nicest. Did appreciate the fridge and microwave in the room. Also the FREE breakfast from 6-9am was a great addition. Some places don't offer the free breakfast and no microwave to try and force you to order overpriced room service. All in all great experience here and will definitely go back!

Room is clean but needs air freshener and the housekeeping needs to check the fridge.

We stayed here when visiting a friend for a wedding. The room we had was terrible… we found someone else's body hair on the sheets under the comforter so clearly they are not changing the linens. The bathroom doesn't have a fan so the moisture has rotted away the bottom of the wooden door. The hotel just has a dreary, dark atmosphere to it and it wasn't a pleasant stay for the price.

Literally, this is just a place to lay one's head at night. Granted there is continental breakfast but it is the least that can be done since one would find themselves hard pressed to locate a simple microwave. The laundry room is perpetually on the fritz. There is no pool. But surprisingly this lackluster inn is surrounded by a myriad of useful retail and restaurant options that almost make up for this uninspired, poorly-maintained, inn.

Nice staff. Rooms and bed were clean. Bed could be a little more comfortable and the walls were a little thin. Average breakfast. All in all nice hotel for a couple nights.

Good selection of breakfast included. Need one more mirror in room. Had double beds but the bathroom mirror was the only one. Harder to get ready in the morning.

Good service. I stayed for just 2 nights but it was very comfortable and easy to check in!

I stayed here the night before a flight. It is a great hotel if you are flying our of Dulles, pick up from the airport was quick and easy and drop off at the airport went smooth. The room was really clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was good as well.

I only stayed one night but I enjoyed my time there. It was late when my plane landed at Dulles but only had to wait 10 mins for the shuttle van to pick me up. The room was large, nice and clean and the bed was big and comfortable. The free breakfast we also good. Normal stuff coffee, bagels and the such. They also had a waffle maker which I loved the most. Overall great experience.

I had an excellent stay, the staff were great and the overall experience was tranquil. Parking can be an issue but with the shopping center parking lot next to the hotel it's not too big of a deal. Walking distance to outback steakhouse, 711, and papa John's.

Staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. I used their shuttle service, which was a bit slow to arrive at the airport but otherwise great.

The place needs to be updated, the toilet didn't work properly, I told the girl at the front desk and nothing was done about it. The housekeeping personnel did not replace the plastic cups I had to go to the front counter. No vending machines, but it says in the book that they have vending / snack machine. Could not enter from the back door where I parked because the slide for the room key wasn't working. Will not be staying there again.

Bed bugs galore. I am so frustrated with this hotel. I am here for work — business trip. The first night, I wake up with so may bites around my neck and fingers : (I talk to the front desk asking can I be moved immeditely and they do offer another room. Did I run into the same problem? yes. Now of course bed bugs do tag along so I asked if there was a washer/dryer and if it was credit card operated. The answer is no and left at that. For as many bites I got from this hotel I would have thought they would at least offer 4 quarters just to dry my clothes. Nope. I put all of my clothes that I had wore previously in a bag and set off to the side. I'm no professional but I try to check this next room for bed bugs and I see nothing on the matters except stains. No idea. The next morning I wake up with several more bites so I jump up and I actually see a bed bug crawling up to the headboard. I cant pack up my things fast enough to get out of this place. Do not waste your money on this infested building. Staff could have helped a little bit more but they seem to have get these complaints fairly often. No expression on their face when we discussed the issue.

Rooms are very clean and large, elegant at least for the price. Breakfast bar is excellent with some hot dishes. Free coffee all day. Free parking. Bar with good happy hour next door. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Clean, quiet. Has a traffic light at intersection to the entrance that is great for arriving/departing at/from the parking lot. Has a shuttle so you can get to the Wiehl-Reston Metro Station to catch the rail or the bus (approx. 1 hr to Smithsonian) or to go to the Dulles airport. Friendly staff. Does serve breakfast. No swimming pool. Has the wall air conditioner. No smoking. This was wonderful for us. Also a Trader Joe's was a few blocks away. Enjoyed our stay.

Checking in was easy. When we went to our room upon arrival, it smelled really bad like mildew. It was clean, but we had to get spray from the maid because it was so overwhelming. I do like the fact that they are trying to be more green friendly. We were supposed to have a microwave in our room and didn't. The following day, we had to use the shuttle (which we were told upon check in would take us anywhere in town) and had to wait 30 minutes just because someone else needed it to get to the airport. The metro station was 5 minutes away! He could have taken us and came back. Then he took the airport people FIRST! I was outraged. Then left the hotel and hadn't been back until night, yet there was a bowl of food in our fridge that WASN'T OURS. Disgusting!

Good comfortable hotel. Only stayed one night to go to air & space and then make international connection. Room was clean and very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast room was busy but well stocked and kept clean. Would use again.

It was nice and clean place. The bathrooms were nice compared to other hotels at that star level. Parking was not the best setup. One way streets with no signs to direct.

The stay was pleasant, my room had tv, fridge, microwave, fast internet, etc. The hotel should work better on the cleanliness of the bathroom, very unacceptable what I saw there. Additionally, I was extremely uncomfortable with a door in my room that could give access to another guest room. Overall evrything else was good.

This is the best value near the airport. The staff is friendly and the hotel is clean. The showers are great. They also have free shuttle service to and from IAD. The free breakfast is decent, especially for families, but it can be crowded. In the breakfast room, I often see bus tour groups, trade workers, and families from other countries. I usually meet someone interesting each time I stay here.

We have stayed in a number of Choice Hotels in this area. This was one of the best! The hotel and the room were very clean and tidy. The staff was friendly and efficient. They were having a computer issue, but the desk clerk handled our check in without getting flustered and got us in our room quickly. It's in a fairly quiet neighborhood, but close to needed amenities. The breakfast was better than most! A special compliment to the young lady working in the breakfast room: There was a huge crowd and some of them were not so very patient and friendly. But she handled everything quickly, efficiently and kept a smile on her face! Thank you! We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to the area.

Clean and quiet hotel, perfect for a quick stay. Staff was very friendly and actually retrieved and returned my ID and credit card which I accidently left in the room. Breakfast is just okay but for the rate, it was a great stay!

Fire Alarm kept going off most the night, bathroom and bathroom walls dirty, 3pieces of chewed green chewing gum found on floor and the wrappers.

The rooms need a little maintenance. The faucet in the tub leaked, the curtains were showing wear, and the vending machines were mostly out of order. Overall, the beds were comfortable to sleep on. If the focus was just a room to sleep on, this met that expectation. I do believe the walls are not as thin as newer hotels because I could not hear my neighbors all night.

My stay at the Comfort Inn was an absolute nightmare. Starting from the dirty bathroom with urine and hair on the toilet, to the lice that was in my hand towels. Mr. Amel Patel, the GM, did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation either. In fact, he called me a liar. After sending several photos to customer relations to prove that the room was atrocious, Mr. Patel thought that giving me a $10 credit was going to satisfy this problem. It's apparent that this general manager has no idea how to run a business or to take care of his guests. His wife, who works there as well, was even worse. She offered no apology or consideration for the bathroom being in the condition it was in. Instead, she looked at me like I was making all of it up. I find that insulting, and inappropriate. I would suggest that no one stay at this hotel, as it is disgusting, not to mention a health violation, and I've reported it to corporate. I travel for work and stay in hundreds of hotels throughout the year, and I must say this particular stay was by far the worst.

It looks like they are in the process of remodeling, we had a nice clean modern styles room. It's within walking distance of several restaurants, we walked to the donut shop each morning.

Muhammad the late night staff member moved my room with ZERO notification to me, including moving my bags while I was at dinner (and check in) and down graded the room at the same time. He admitted he had moved my personal items and stated that he had given me a better room. The room was clearly a down grade and with no sense of remorse even after discussing with him the nature of the items. He stated I could contact his GM the following day and it would take a few days to get back to me. This man nor the business should be trying to conduct. Isomer service. My visit ranks up there with the worst customer service and experience that I have ever had with anyone. I would highly you suggest that you move on to the next location before they move your belongings on there own and over charge you for the room that they move you to.

The hotel is very good. The staff were very helpful. I got put in their newly renovated rooms and they were very comfortable. Will be staying again.

Friendly staff, quiet town and quiet surrounding, clean room, free and actually very good breakfast. Relatively inexpensive.

It's a nice place for holiday makers and I highly recommend it to holiday makers visiting the United States for the first time.

Everything is very nice and clean. Seems a little out of date though. Staff is nice as well and willing to offer me a discount after I found a lower price online. Perfect for a overnight stay!

My house had a fire, so I needed a place to stay that was affordable. I was able to get a room no problem. The first night I was there I had just gotten out of the hospital early in the morning, when I asked if I could check in early, she understood me. I was able to get in early and rest. As for the several nights I stayed, the beds were very comfortable, absolutely no problems with bugs, the only issue I came across was my key card not working. The staff here are some incredible people, the gentleman at night, Raza, is friendly, helpful, and very professional. I've met a few of the other people here as well and everyone was extremely professional. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Not only is the staff amazing, but the rooms were clean and even sanitized, the breakfast is very good, it's hard to make eggs that I enjoy and they hit the spot. This was hands down one of the best hotels I have stayed at in the past ten years.

I stayed at Comfort Inn Herndon for a month and it was the most frustrating hotel service I have ever experienced. Pay a little bit more money and stay somewhere else.

I was here for work for two months. The staff were very friendly and always had a smile on their faces. There were times that they were slammed, but that's understandable too. The rooms were very clean, and the breakfast was good. Will stay there again if I have to come back to work in this area. The GM was very pleasant to deal with too. The beds were comfy, and never had problems that others had mentioned with bed bugs. The only problem I had, and there is nothing the hotel could do about this, my cell phone had absolutely zilch reception in the room, and I have Verizon. Otherwise, a great place to stay. Just ask for the Bolton Suite. They thought it was funny at the front desk.

Our stay here was awesome. All the staffs were incredible, happy, and kid friendly. The breakfast was nice for the kids and adults. I definitely recommend✔️✔️ Pro: Clean room shuttle bus provided to airport and Metro Station. Save my family and I time and Money! Con: Small bathroom! need green hot tea.

Nice place staff told me there under new management. This is my 5 day staying here havent seen any bed bugs staff is nice good breakfast Comfortable beds large rooms nice bathrooms will be back next time im in town.

Great job I think that they were just very hard-working and they did their jobs well. I don't know much about the price, my husband handles all the finances in the house, but I would recommend them. Bed Bugs! We had plan to stay in this Inn for four nights, but after one night, my wife had bug bites. At first we weren't sure what kind of bug bites they were and where and when she got them. After the second night, she (and now our daughter) had more bug bites. That's when we began to suspect that the room we were staying was infested with bed bugs. After researching about bed bugs in the internet, we came to a firm conclusion that we had been bitten by bed bugs. We calmly informed the staff and made a simple request: to have us move to another room. The staff was nonchalant about the whole thing and said that there is nothing she can do about it and she will see whether the housing crew could prepare another room. When we asked how soon they could prepare a room, she said, "It will be ready when it's ready. " We checked out of this Inn immediately and went to another hotel. Having to deal with bed bugs is bad enough but to deal with an uncaring staff with an attitude made the whole experience a lot worse. We will never go back to this Inn ever again! I thought this was the end of the matter. But to my surprise, the general manager of the hotel call me one week later to apologize for the conduct of her staff and the unpleasant experience we had in the room. She was very sincere. I'm not sure whether we will go back to this hotel again but I accept her apology and I'm going to change my rating from one star to two.

Rooms are incredibly clean and seem freshly renovated. Breakfast was very sub par unfortunately. I suggest Bagel Cafe up the street, you can even walk there.

Guest Beware! Bad review for Comfort Inn Dulles International Airport VA. The parking lot tows. Came out the next day to no car, it cost me $200 to recover my car. Stuck there for a time. The parking lot is not well lit. Not to mention the above bed bug problem. Terrible! If staying in Reston don't go to Herndon. Very backward city police and services. The towing people are extreme. Even spent $50 plus dollars at the restuarant in the same lot! Horrible! The name is misleading it is not anywhere near the airport. Goverment, IT and Business people beware.

I am right now staying in room 126. Checked in pretty late for an overnight stay. Found bed bugs in one of the bed. Informed the front desk and then they moved me into another. 131. That too turned out to have the bed bugs. Not sure if this is hotel is as bad. I will bring this to notice of the manager tomorrow morning. But right now I would not have a night's sleep. Considering that I move into the hyatt around the conner.
