Kind staffs and nice facilities!

I need to tell the whole world, that they need to fire one particular person who refused to carry an ice chest for me because it had liquor in it stating it was against his religion. That fool has no business working as a service person for the hotel. I want the whole world to know.

Love this hotel. Close to the airport. Clean room… great service… And the sales team rock!

In the overall is a good hotel. The only thing is that it doesn’t have a game room for entertainment. It’s not children friendly. It does have a nice bar, but that’s for adults. What about the children? People stay in the location of where this hotel is because in downtown DC hotels are way too expensive.

Excellent hotel with a great setup for the conference I am attending. My 4 year old grandson enjoyed the swimming pool and in this case there was a lifeguard this weekend which I think is rare. Housekeeping was great.

No blankets on the beds, uncomfortable pillows, the food was high and not very good. Staff was friendly.

Stayed for an event. Hotel was fairly clean, however its definitely aging a bit. When I checked in, the first room I was assigned smelled like smoke. I returned to the front desk, and the agent moved me to another room, no questions asked. The second room was cleaner than the first. I asked the bartender to make me an espresso martini and he absolutely killed it. The price wasn't terrible for it either! Overall fine, but it needs a major renovation.

Nice hotel but it does show it's age a bit. The rooms are very large, which was appreciated. Pool and hot tub were nice and they're indoors to allow for year rooms use. Overall, the property is well maintained. The service here was top notch and very helpful. Only issue is price of breakfast. $20 a person is a bit steep for a buffet. Also, the hotel didn't have much within walking distance, you'll need a car or Lyft. They are still building out the metro, nearest station is probably 10 minutes away currently.

So I booked this from a third party 11 days before my stay, 5 days before my stay I called and asked to cancel one night. The lady on the phone was nice and said it wouldn't be a problem and I can do that when I check in. And this is where it all goes down hill. I was not refunded my one night and was charged an added $100 for incidentals that I "may" have. The room was decent and clean but the bed was very firm. And woke up with a sore back. The paint was peeling from the door jam. And the blanket was falling apart. The food was really good but overpriced and left me wishing I had ate at the airport. All in all I would not stay here again and will not be recommending it to anyone. For the price its just not worth it, any of it.

Great hotel, had a problem getting breakfast the chef over heard. He not only personally prepared our meal but because of the difficulties we had experienced did not charge us. Something we didn't expect but really made a different in our overall experience. The dining area and bar has a great TV and food. Staff at desk not so friendly or helpful, that is why the chef stepped in.

The room designs are classy and comfy. And this place very silent, calm and in mean relaxing. Extra perk they have an airport transport service shuttle. A very professional and friendly service. Saves you from taxi. Be careful! When you book online do check you get room with complimentary breakfast.

Worst experience hands down! During the 98 degree weather the hotel throughout had little to no AC. The room AC went off & on throughout the night. Room temp averaged 81 degrees. Hotel is outdated! To top it off, checked out of the hotel 3 days early after only 1 nights stay because of the issues and I was still charged 2200 dollars on my Corp card. Now waiting for them to correct… had to speak to the director of sales to finally get a call back. Never again!

Based on a few days long stay I would say that the rooms are old but functional and my non-smoking room smelled like a smoking room. Actually I checked out one other room and it was not very fresh either. Acoustics in the common areas were bad, too many hard surfaces. On the other hand the hotel was reasonably priced and staff was very friendly and competent! One nice detail was that there were working video inputs on the TV in the room.

Stay was very nice and close to the office. The staff was friendly and hotel dining was great. I really like the spacious room setup and took advantage of the nice fitness room when I could. Would definitely stay here again.

When I first got to my room, there was animal excrement in the corner under a table. The hotel was very busy because of an airline cancellation, but the staff kept up with everyone somehow. The breakfast buffet is okay, but you're best to get an omelet and waffle so it's fresh. The dinner options were good, but the hotel is located near several great restaurants.

Lobby was nicely decorated, with fairly helpful staff who answered my questions and got me settled in. The room was also pretty great and spacious, only complaint would be how dimly lit the bath/shower was. Breakfast on the morning wasn't the biggest, but definitely one of the nicest I've been to at a (non-Vegas) hotel. Their selection was small, but their hot food was delicious and they change it up every day.

My room has been very nice and clean. The whirlpool bathtub is nice. I especially appreciate things like the air purifier and fragrance free soaps and shampoos. I'm not really allergic to anything, but the room feels pleseantly clean and the soap doesn't feel like it's destroying my skin compared to most hotel soap.

Very pretty hotel, but one of the worst nights we’ve had at a hotel in many, many years. After checking in at 10:00 pm and figuring out how to use the elevator (it requires your room key for security’s sake) we made it to our top floor room. The room was very nice and very big with a fantastic view of Dulles airport. But the room was stuffy. We found the thermostat and turned the AC down and got ready for sleep. Nothing — nothing happened with the AC. It continued to blow lukewarm air. No amount of fiddling with the thermostat changed anything. Had we arrived earlier and not been so tired, we would have requested a room change, so we decided to sleep with the problem. That’s when we discovered issue 2: the bed sheets. THe bottom sheet on the bed wasn’t fitted. As we pulled back the covers, the bottom sheet came off. We tucked it back in, barely, knowing that it would come loose in the middle of the night. We were right. Off to sleep, in the tepid room. At midnight, someone rattled the door latch, trying to get in. Great. Some drunk from the wedding reception downstairs (or was it the prom? ) who can’t find his/her room. Was that knocking? Roll over and go back to sleep. A few minutes later, the same thing. I get up and go to the door, and ask — without opening the door — what they want. An accented voice says the room is supposed to be unoccupied. I tell them I had reserved the room and paid in advance. They ask when I’m checking out.

Decent place. I have it 5 stars more so because of the consistency. Been here every year for business four the lady 4years and it's always the same. Always the same quality.

Stayed here for one night on a recent trip, specifically due to proximity to airport and we wanted a full service hotel with restaurant/bar. The front desk and shuttle staff were wonderful. The rooms clean, comfortable and spacious (considering standard room). They not only run a shuttle to the airport but one to a close by dining/shopping area — a perk for those who don't have a vehicle and want options. We ate in the restaurant (bar side) and the food was decent, service a bit subpar as we had to keep waving the server down to refill waters and ultimately to clear our table and get check. It may have been they were short staffed given the nor'easter in progress so it did not change my overall opinion even if the server gal looked annoyed every time we needed something.

Had our flight cancelled and was provided accommodation for one of the nights here. The hotel staff was alright, and we were checked-in at a timely manner. The room was orderly and seemed clean except for make-up stains on 3/4 of the pillowcases. We called for slippers, robes and a change of pillowcases. While all the items seemed like they have been washed, the robes had stains on them (one had blood stains), and the pillowcases again had make-up stains. Hopefully they find a better laundry service to handle their linens. Otherwise, the shuttle to and from the airport is convenient and everything else was fine.

Good location not to far from restaurants and other amenities. The prices for food inside the hotel were quite steep. Room was clean and the beds are fairly comfortable.

Super nice staff but please don't eat there! It's dirty.

Very refined, rooms are full of elegant/convenient features (fridges and coffee, but microwave is only available in lobby "convenience store"), gym is excellent, pool is nice, hot tub is more warm than hot. Solid 4.5 out of 5, rounded up.

While I was only at the hotel for a few hours of sleep during to a missed connection, my experience was great. The front desk was very helpful, and the room was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely consider staying there again if I am in the area.

Loved it! Room was big and the entire hotel was very clean. Up to date on all furniture. Customer service was impeccable. Will definitely be coming back again.

Stayed here for a longer stay over the holidays. We reserved an Executive King Suite, and were very comfortable, happy, and well-rested. Reasonable rates, relatively quiet, and good amenities in the room. Front desk has a bit of a monotone approach to customer service, but nonetheless, the hotel itself is excellent. Pool and gym downstairs are typically empty but kept clean. We'd stay here again. Room service was fine as well.

Amazing customer service! Our flight was delayed and the hotel let us extend our check out time free of charge. Also parking is a great deal and much better than parking at the airport especially since there is a free shuttle that runs every 30 minutes. They were also extremely prompt and gave great customer service when we ordered room service and needed a scale to weigh our luggage.

I went to a dance event. The hotel has all the services. The rooms are very good equipped.

Very friendly staff with a great welcoming feel. The view from the room is pleasant to see. The rooms are nice most with the bathroom and sink separate from the toilet and shower. There are microwaves on one or two floors. It's was a pleasant stay while visiting the area.

Comfortable beds, nice and clean hotel. For the price breakfast could be included. Overall great start. Check in was very easy and employees were very accommodating.

Convenient shuttle from the airport. Rooms have tiny bathrooms, but include a sitting room with couch and refrigerator. Charging hub on the desk a very nice touch. Where the stars get taken away is on services. Ordered room service my first night. Took an hour and a quarter, plus another call to check on it, to get a salad. Housekeeping left my door open a crack for who knows how long while I was at a conference all day. Fortunately nothing was stolen.

Beautiful upscale hotel. This is located right near the airport and they offer a complimentary airport shuttle. On-site restaurant/bar, delicious food. A bit pricey but food quality is high quality. Great place for meetings or events. Ballrooms are updated and many size types. Staff is extremely friendly and professional. They seem to enjoy working here and deliver outstanding customer service. The updated spacious and overnight rooms are beautiful. They are super clean and smell amazing as you walk in. The beds are super comfortable also so remember to set multiple alarms and wake up calls. I had a very enjoyable stay and look forward to returning to this location again soon.

This hotel definitely has that" you have arrived" feel to it. From the polished shuttle service from the airport to the professional check-in procedure at the front desk to beautiful appointed rooms and meeting spaces both inside and outside, this hotel property creates a luxurious experience that rivals the Sheraton and Hilton. The value I paid for the experience I received was amazing in my opinion. My suite had a clean contemporary feel and I was able to rest uninterrupted. It was nice to also not be required to check out until noon, as I have a later flight. This experience is definitely how hotel accommodations should be presented, especially for properties by airports. Well done, Hyatt Regency!

Rooms smell musty, are not very clean. I left an item behind and even after calling everyday for a week with promise that the manager would call me back, never heard from them. When I asked again I was told housekeeping never found the item. I know exactly where I left it! No apologies no offers to try to make things right. Shower curtains smell like mold. Food is not great either especially for the price. I'm sorry to say that if I did not stay here due to work. I would not stay here.

Well the employees are great, the front desk even pay my taxi on late wendsday because I miss the shuttle bus. Now the room I stay on not so good. The presidential suite not so presidential. Is over use and is time for a re-do or heavy cleaning. Ever since I got there starter sneezing because to much dust. Furniture beside they are kind of old fashion, they had some bad stain on it. I move some to look under and found cheetos, crackers crumps and dirt. The door nob from my room felt as I try to close it and the air condition vent. Had hair popping out. I had some visitor and they also could not beleive the condition of the room. Hope you take some action. I took a pic of the hair and door nob just in case you would like to see this. Thanks.

The hotel did not meet my expectations. Traveling for work two weeks ago and I found the following disadvantages: The restaurant closes very early and has a very limited. The walls are very thin and you can hear absolutely everything. One night directly I could not sleep and I moved to the quiet floor. The bathroom is very small and the towels are too. The room is not equipped with safety box. The swimming pool is small and indoors, not nice in the summer. The desktop is super uncomfortable and a front end that low 20cm minimum that does not fit the legs under the table, and even if the chair outside lower the desk, you would be very high. The chair is not regulated in height and is not comfortable. The room has no lights in the ceiling. Only floor lamps and candles, with which at night the light is very low. While in the fourth you got a book with all that you offer to rent, buy, or borrow, do not have anything of all that. Had forgotten a plug adapter from Australian to American, and not had, nor that, nor any. Would not come back.

The room was nice, all the things you'd expect to have in a modern hotel room. Decently sized gym with a good selection of equipment. The pool is a lap pool so not much room for large parties and hot tub was a good size, although the jets on the hot tub weren't working when we were there but still nice to relax in after waking DC all day. The staff at the front desk was excellent, very friendly and helpful. I'm knocking one start of because I don't think our room was ever vacuumed from the previous quests, there were pistachio shells and finger nail clippings still on the floor when we arrived.

The room was nice, and generally well-maintained (though there was a stain on one of the curtains). It's a nice space. We used the conference center for the day, and we were very well taken care of. It was great, but it would have been just a little more awesome if the final snacks were provided with small bags (paper or plastic). Ken drove us to the airport, and was an excellent and entertaining driver.

I went for a social event and very good in a very cute.

I stayed 2 nights at the hotel to attend an event held at the hotel's conference center with a large group. Not one person showed any enthusiasm or professionalism. Every staff member I encountered looked miserable, they were rude and very inconsiderate when we had any interaction. The restaurant took forever (over forty minutes for a salad) and the servers are short and rushed through. I alerted the desk that the gym was full of children and they would have a broken machine or broken child on their hands. The pool attendant refused to help to address it. Finally I ran the children out myself before they got hurt. Twenty minutes later someone came to check and rolled their eyes to find no children. I've been in hotel management for years and so I explained my concerns at check out to someone who clearly did not care. I gave them an opportunity to show me they valued customer perception. I wasn't looking for a discount, just giving a heads up — one hotel manager to another… This property should be ashamed of how it is represented and the management should clearly be examined to create such a miserable environment for their staff. Additionally Hyatt should be reluctant to allow them to retain their franchise flag! I am completely disgusted with this entire experience and the lack of caring in all staff I encountered.

Very well located near the airport very nice area and close to restaurants.

Every has been really nice. The rooms are great, the staff is great, but there is a strange smell in the hallway. Also, the restaurant doesn't really have any gluten-free options and the waitstaff seem shorthanded and unfriendly.

Great place to stay. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Nice room with a comfortable bed and nice TV and A/V setup.

The hotel was really nice with a beautiful view. The showers had really hot water and a very comfortable bed. The pool is indoors and very warm like a bath. I booked through a third party and got a great deal, I was so supprized. The staff were quick to help with TV issues. My only complaints would be that the front desk representive was openly arguing with another employee, I believe from house keeping, and they do not offer free breakfast. Other than that I really enjoyed my stay!

We recently booked the hotel through a third-party site at a great rate, and were very pleased with the experience. The front desk staff were accommodating, allowed me to check-in several hours early and have a late check-out the following day. The room itself was clean, had a nice view, and had lots of little"extras" worthy of the hotel's star rating. Definitely recommend if you need a nice room near Dulles Airport.

While attending a wedding a brides maid left her dress in a room that she had stayed in the night before, the cleaning crew found the dress and had it safe and secure for her once she went looking for it. The rooms were clean, and smelled neutral. Has amazing breakfast options.

The hotel atmosphere is nice. I attended a conference here and the meeting space and organization was very good. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Beautiful hotel, have attended quite a few social gatherings at this hotel as well as stayed over few times. Their service and arrangements are top notch. Location is prime within minutes commute to the airport, it's mostly used by Business Travellers but I see no problem staying here for a casual visit as well. Have nothing but great things to say about this property.

Hyatt is a good spot to host small to medium sized events. They maintain a clean facility and my only gripe wild be the catering is not the best. It would be nice if the bar were open more consistently during events to encourage more of a social atmosphere between event sessions.

I thought I was giving myself a treat, I was wrong. Really disappointed with that hotel, even more given the price. First I found a bug in the bath tube. I don't know what it was and I don't care but that is a real deal breaker… Second the rooms are fine but have obvioulsy been designed in the 80s and haven't changed since. So if you're into moustaches, large glasses, public space smoking, and depression friendly designs this hotel is for you. Well to be honest it's my fault because I should have realized that when looking at the website. No safe and mini bar empty. Finally the food. The hotel has a restaurant. The food there is outrageously expensive so that I didn't want to have a main course and encourage this kind of pricing. I had a salad. I don't know if it was meant to be good but to me it was just vinegar. My stomach ulcer is having the time of its life… How can one consider that correct to give to client? Did they ever heard about dressing and vinaigrette? 8$ for some salad leaves, 4 cherry tomatoes and half bottles of vinegar that is a lot. The bread tasted like bran, not sure if it is supposed to… Water was fine. Make yourself a favor if you have to stay in the dc area, avoid hyatt regency dulles.

Came here for HH, food was very good, service was even better.

Unfortunately the pool and hot tub are closed all day on Monday through Thursday This wasn't stated when we booked the hotel and is very unexpected. Room was comfortable and the heat worked well. Close to highway but noise not a problem. Many of the rooms electrical outlets are covered up. This makes it strange when plugging the iron in as you can't place it where you would like. It must be close to a lamp with an outlet. No in-room safe. Location is close to airport, but there is nothing in walking distance like restaurants, cafes, bars, etc.

The hotel staff were friendly and efficient. The turned room layout used the space well and created a pleasant environment. This combination made for an excellent stay.

Sofa bed was very uncomfortable and breakfast was overpriced at $20pp. Great amenities though. Good location, too bad no food places within walking distance.

Was here recently for an event. Staff is very friendly and facilities are very nice. Nicer of the conference centers I've been to.

Very friendly, accommodating staff. Spacious, clean rooms and a good restaurant and bar. The hotel also has brand new Wi-Fi and HD TV upgrades. After staying a few months for work, you get to know everyone and they become like family. Whether you're in Herndon long-term or just a night after a missed flight, I recommend this hotel.

Great hotel. Room was clean, comfortable, quite, and large. Everything you'd need or might have forgotten was also readily available in the room with plenty to spare. The Internet is also fast and reliable, atleast enough to easily stream video and play online games. The rest of the hotel is also quite well kept and good looking with a gorgeous fountain full of fish in the center. While I never ate at the restaurant the bar serves a few items, all of which were quite good (crab cake sandwich was my favorite). The food is a bit expensive however. The drinks at the bar also where quite good. If the restaurant food isn't appealing or too expensive than luckily in the office building right next door is a delicious deli that is open from 7-4 Monday through Friday. The staff also are friendly and accommodating; always willing to help. I wish I could remember more of their names but I do remember Tommy in particular who was friendly and amusing to talk to. All in all well worth the price despite it being slightly higher than some nearby hotels.

Good service, location convenient.

We stayed overnight for a wedding. Room was comfortable and clean. Building was quiet. There was no complimentary shower gel or shampoo as we have come to expect in other hotels and motels. Lack of towels aproblem even cheap motels have more than two towels. We booked a double with two beds. But otherwise good.

They did not honor rate as I booked it online. Didn't give me AAA discount. Terrible service and untrained bar staff. Customers had to go to bar for service as they weren't going to customers. Tried calling front desk repeatedly but no answer. Coffee pot in room, but no coffee. Chose the Hyatt because the Hilton was fully booked. Will plan to avoid in the future.

I was looking for a hotel close to Dulles for a one night stay in DC, and found this one. If you're looking for something close to that airport, I'd highly recommend it. The facilities were great. The room was very nice with an extremely comfortable bed. Paid $75, which is a great rate. Breakfast was a little pricey, but not too outrageous. The best part, though, was the service. Front desk staff was very helpful, but their shuttle drivers were the best. They helped me out several times as I struggled with DC's abysmal public transportation to get down to the national mall and back. Adboulaye, in particular, really went out of his way and is a credit to that hotel. Very friendly and a fabulous contrast to the surliness of the DC metro employees.

Stay here quite frequently for work and the staff sets the bar for excellent service. The breakfast buffet is very good and the kitchen also prepares great meals. The Internet service is top notch with sufficient bandwidth to watch Netflix even when the hotel is sold out. I look forward to each stay here.

I was very impressed with this place, and I am super picky with hotels. It was quiet and relaxing. They also have an outstanding fitness facility! the best I have ever seen at a hotel. Comfortable and spacious rooms for reasonable price. We didnt pay for Wi-Fi, it was free.
