Very old and quick fixes not upgrades. Bathroom was not clean. Upholstered chairs had extreme stains. Carpeting is very old and appears unclean. Heat was either on or off and temp could not be adjusted. A member of our group found unknown hair in her bed upon pulling the sheets back. Front desk staff was very kind and willing to do what they could.

Great location. Easy walk to metro and wonderful restaurants. Small but clean rooms. The ac made a lot of noise. The breakfast was not satisfactory as in tere were very less options and that too were not refilled on time. All in all a good budget hotel which requires some mordernization.

Hotel was good. Room was clean we just had a big problem with bed. It was so noisy and too jumpy that we all could not sleep whole night even Air condition was not that effective. It is cheap but good bed is recommended… no disposable water glass in room, only three towels for four people, breakfast was good.

Very basic. Hasn't been updated in probably 60 years. Was clean. Bed was descent and air conditioning kept the room nice and cool. Good price.

Terrible hotel extremely small rooms, poor service, garage is not open 24-7 and u have a long walk to park never stay here.

Had a great stay in this small hotel situated in a decent quiet neighborhood. Very functional, a bit laid back but reasonable. Bed was comfortable, room clean, shower head great, a TV and mini fridge and the staff was helpful. Not fancy but still I loved it and I will use it again next time when visiting DC.

I was very happy to get a room at the Windsor. The hotel I booked miss handled my reservations leaving me without a room. The room was clean but it really needs updating. The air condition did not work in the front room; leaving the room very muggy, the blinds in my room was broken, and the bathroom had stuff behind the toilet. The hotel is located in a great location. But please do some upgrades. I will be traveling back to DC for business and would like to come back to the Windsor and recommend it to friends/family. Thank you in advance for doing the upgrades.

I had a conference at the Marriott Wardman Park hotel but stayed at the Windsor Park Hotel. It was a great experience. The hotel felt a bit like something out of the past both in terms of quality and service. It was an old building with some old furniture but it was built to last. Everything worked, the bed was comfortable, room was clean, and the service was friendly. Lyft's to the Smithsonian and White House were between $4.50-$9 depending on time of day. Walking over to restaurants in Adams Morgan was easy. Would definitely recommend if in that area of DC.

Older hotel, breakfast is continental. Staff was friendly and helpful. Reasonable price.

The hotel shows its age in the architecture and some style and other elements. The check in was quick. The room was clean and maintained well, although it's not large. The breakfast is a basic continental breakfast, but it does the job. The location is good, and I really have no complaints. The Wi-Fi seemed decent too, despite needing multiple access points, presumably due to the older construction. It's not luxury, but it is very functional.

Good hotel at a good price. Comfy bed, fridge in the room, basic breakfast included. Nothing fancy. All the staff I met were competent and respectful. Near lots of food. Not far from metro or zoo.

15 minute drive from all the sights, quiet hotel in anold building. Small but clean rooms. Service was good. I had an issue with the toilet not flushing and someone came up to my room to fix it immediately. I showed up very early to check in expecting to be able to store my bags and come back later to get my room but the man at the front desk gave me a room right away so I could get settled in. Not the most amazing breakfast (could use a little fruit and some whole wheat options), but decent considering the price of the hotel (bagels, toast, pastries, muffins, cereal, juice and coffee).

It's was a pretty nice room we got in, though we did get upgradeded into one of the suites for free. One of the few downsides was that there wasnt full Wi-Fi-coverage in the entire room.

Nice big room. It's not modern, but affordable, clean, accommodating, close to some good spots, free Wi-Fi and breakfast. Can't complain.

Good service and location. Rooms were basic but adequate. Breakfast was included, but nothing to write home about. Location was great for my needs though, I could walk to most places I needed to.

Everything we needed for the price, friendly helpful and happy to assist when needed. We literally slept there and had breakfast, out all day sightseeing, very close to the metro and local bars and restaurants

Rooms are OK. You get only one key for the room, which sucks for two adults. The vending machine accepts only $1 bills, and they don't keep change. There is a 7-11 5 min away but still feel like reception should keep change. Nothing in the fridge in the room.

It's A good hotel for the price you pay, breakfast included and somewhat close to the tourist area. Clean, kind staff and in general good for few days.

Don't stay here. Place smells. Plastic bathtub with water underneath it. No conditioner, no iron. Hairs in the bathroom. This site gives it 3.4 stars. It's a blight on this site.

We were so happy we found the Windsor Park. Very close to the Metro and Adams Morgan neighborhood with everything you would want for dinning and such. The staff was the best … thanks Andrew! The rooms are extremely clean … thank you ladies! So quiet and peaceful! DC was on my bucket list and we were so happy we booked here as it is so close to the sights but in such a beautiful area of DC. Thank you!

This place is not what you would expect. It's smelly and dirty. Very disappointed to say the least. No parking and very little help with information on where to park. Front desk was NOT helpful at all and told us in front if the hotel was only 15 minute parking while his car was parked there the whole time we were there. Had a very " oh well " attitude. Would NEVER stay there again WAY OVERPRICED.

The location is about a 30 minute walk from all of the major monuments which is not the best but not the worst either. The rooms have an old fashion feel to them but they are nice and spacious. The service is about average too. Overall a good value.

Had some complications with booking through Expedia, but the staff here was very accommodating at the last minute. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable all while being affordable and still close enough downtown. I was very happy with my stay! I'd definitely recommend it!

Awful experience. First room we were given was unacceptable. Second room the bed is dirty. Told there were no other rooms available. If I could rate a 0 I would.

Really friendly staff, clean, good value for the price. Loved the location. Would stay here again as well as recommend to others traveling to the area.

The floor of the bathtub is warped and uneven, and it is unsteady to stand on. There is also not enough room in the bathroom to spread out our toiletries.

This is easily the most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed at. The rooms haven't been updated in decades. The paint was peeling. The mattress was terrible. The bathroom had visible grime. The thermostat is from 1967. You have to carry around a metal key on a keychain like an idiot from a bygone era. The blinds were broken and inoperable. The Wi-Fi won't load a single thing. Air conditioning does not work, not even a little bit. There is about 3 inches of fuzz/dust/mold in the vents. And the phone does not have a cord and is not connected. Yikes. Stay away!

Over all it is good. Nice people and services. Breakfast is OK, not a lot choices though. The room is small, but clean. The sound isolation is not good. Location is good, pretty close to the embassy area. If you are visiting D. C. For a visa, it's a good place to stay.

Comparatively cheap in relation to other DC hotels but very tired and basic decor.

Absolute dump. Rooms haven't been updated for at least 20 years. Fixtures falling off the walls. Hotel should be closed by authorities.

Good luck booking a room. I called and was put on hold for about 10 minites, then cut off. When I called back, nobody answered. I'm sure they're a fine hotel, but I'll be someplace else.

Booking in the last minute but… It was the best decision. Nice place, nice people, perfect breakfast! Even, one night I came back late to the hotel and I wanted something hot to drink, as it wasn't offered at the spending machines, the owner offered me a cup of tea! If I need to go back to Washington, I won't doubt!

This hotel only looks good! Filled with bed bugs. Warning!

Kind staff, clean rooms, very affordable. Rooms have AC, free cable TV, and breakfast included. Would definitely return.

Super quit and super good, is a old building but everything is comfortable is beautiful and economic.

Decent hotel for unbeatable price.

I booked this room for two of my co-workers, and one of them found hair on his bedsheets and holes in his blankets. We booked them a different hotel room for the following nights, and when I later tried to get a refund of the nights we didn't use, was met with incredible rudeness by the owner, of all people. Now, my co-workers didn't say anything, and we booked a non-refundable room, so he was entirely within his rights to refuse our request — — but the poor level of service, and utter lack of respect, was unnecessary and shocking. On top of that, he refused to even consider the request at first because he said — — twice — — that we hadn't checked out, which was, well, a lie. Do not recommend, simply for the lack of courtesy.

Comfortable and clean room for affordable price.

Me and my family so happy when we stay in this hotel. Room are clean, fresh bedclothes, nice breakfast. Nice location in historical area. Definitely recommend to our friends.

Excellent rate in very Expensive City. New Furniture.

We rented two rooms in July 2013. One of the rooms had a very musty smell, but the manager quickly and cheerfully moved us to another room. The prices were very reasonable for DC, and the hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Dupont Circle. Lots of embassies nearby. Breakfast was reasonable if not extensive. The only downside is there is no parking associated with the hotel. Parking is available at a nearby garage for $32/night.

Nice place. Comfortable but slightly worn. The location is good, near Rock Creek Park and there are restaurants just a walk across the park (via the Connecticut Ave bridge), near the Woodley Park metro station. Parking is a problem, but not if you come by Metro.

We had reserved a non-smoking room. When we checked in, they gave us a smoking one instead. I went down to the lobby, and being a typical New Yorker, I was ready to argue. But there was no argument from them. The clerk simply apologized and put us up in a huge suite for no extra cost. We spent 3 nights in great comfort. Great location, nice older building, very accommodating staff.
