The customer service and food was exceptional. We will visit this hotel again.

Dark yet light. Limited to the restaurant week menu, but food was good. Had to find crown royal. Asked to move table after 2 hours. Pleasant staff.

Lovely hotel near all Georgetown has to offer. Friendly and helpful staff. Many thoughtful extras for guests.

Very nice hotel, most of the staff was friendly, nice and comfortable rooms and good restaurant/bar. I do say most of the staff because there was this bartender/waiter who would not wait on me… I was with a group of Americans or American-looking Mexicans (I'm a Mexican-looking mexican) and he would bring their drinks to the table but requested that I come to get mine at the bar. Decided not to take it personal or as discrimination and moved on but wanted to bring it up in this review. Despite that I looked the hotel hence the 5-star rating.

My family and I stayed there. We flew in and drove in from NY to pick up my niece from her Ballet Summer Intensive. What an amazing stay we had! If I’m ever in DC again I’ll only stay at the Glover. Charming, friendly, cozy, homelike. Not impersonal at all. We really had a great reunion and the staff at the Glover made it so amazing and special. A million thanks!

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel two summers in a row. Very nice large rooms and views. Pet friendly. Coffee in the lobby in the mornings is tasty and there is a wine happy hour. I only wish it had a pool. Overall very cute boutique hotel.

Kimpton is a smaller hotel with lovely updated rooms. It's going through some really nice renovations, however it didn't impact our stay. The fitness center is a great gym. It has a lot of equipment you would find at a cross fit gym, which is a good thing and surprising. Staff are all friendly and very accommodating.

Lovely room, very comfortable beds. Excellent staff anticipating our needs and always pleasant and friendly. Loved the morning coffee and evening glass of wine. Beautiful view from our window. Delicious room-service — dinner came fast and hot! Really enjoyed this hotel!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Kimpton Glover Park. The staff was always friendly and they all went over and beyond to be helpful. We especially enjoyed the hosted wine hour, such a nice touch to end a long day. I would like to give a shout out to Cassie our shuttle driver. She she totally went out of her way for us! Thank You! Excellent location, close to many restaurants. We would love to stay here again if ever in the DC area.

I don't understand why they were given four races. The doors are old, there was a big stain on the carpet in the closet. One horribly embroidered heavy robe. There were no slippers. But near the entrance crowded staff and cheered. I choose the convenience in the room, not the unnecessary employees who help earn points for the stars. The hotel itself is not bad. The Russian Embassy is a five-minute walk away.

Stayed at the Kimpton while at a conference. As you may know I have a think for hotel rooms. The beds are wonderful. A good selection on TV so if you actually want to enjoy the room it's the perfect place to stay. Nice bar inside and there's one outside. A solid breakfast buffet. Very friendly staff!

Excellent staff. Loved the wine hour and coffee every day. The environment was warm and inviting. I will be back.

Very nicely kept. Good sized rooms. An amazingly well equipped and large gym open all hours. Very friendly and accommodating staff in all areas. Whenever we call for anything, it was taken care of in less than 10 minutes. We enjoyed multiple yummy breakfasts at the restaurant. What could be better? Our room faced Wisconsin Avenue on the 5th floor. A lot of traffic could be heard day and night. And walls and or doors between room permit hearing whatever the guests do next door.

We got to the hotel at 12.30 am. They designated a room for us and as usual the kids were fighting to be the ones opening the room door. My 10 year old walked in an occupied room at 1 am he did not want to say what he saw but his pale face and the screaming coming from the room says it all. UNACCEPTABLE! Went back to the lobby to find out that the hotel was fully booked, that in fact our room was in use. It is 2 am, we came with our three kids all the way from Florida to be part of the March for our lives. The hotel solution for us was to transfer us to a sister hotel for “the rest of the night” and come back here to check in to a hopefully empty room in the morning which means that we are supposed to transfer hotels instead of attending the March tomorrow. Simple awful.

Nice, new or recently renovated hotel with a boutique feel to it. Good restaurant attached (would be nice if it were open earlier than 8 on weekends), good breakfast options (not included), nice staff, complimentary use of a cross-country style modern gym. No free Wi-Fi unless you are an IHG member.

My wife needed to go to Russian embassy. Perfect location. Literally a 5 minute walk, if that. Staff was friendly, nice spacious rooms, valet with parking deck onsite ($35 a day, will keep your car until 4pm). Coffee and hot chocolate downstairs. Also a restaurant. Don't have anything negative to say. Really enjoyed it for the night we stayed.

Great rooms. Nice views from upstairs in level 7 above on the back end of the hotel. Restaurant downstairs caters for alot and it's lively at the weekends. Not sure about car parking but valet parking is 35 dollars It's close to the centre of town and easy to get around. Staff very friendly and helpful Rooms large and tidy. Great beds.

High floor corner room had fantastic view of Washington, D. C. And environs on two sides. We were able to watch airplanes landing at National Airport. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Valet parking only. There was no coffee in our room at least and none available in the lobby early Sunday morning; less than ideal for early risers.

Prices for the hotel we're good and they accept big dogs. The room was clean. The valet gets pretty expensive at $35, though.

Older building but no problems. Friendly staff. Very reasonably priced plus free happy hour. Only three blocks to National Cathedral. Only concern is the restaurant has a very limited menu.

If you know the Kimpton family of hotels, you know what to expect. Elegant, eccelctic and crisp facilities, great amenities (free rental bikes! ) — — Kimptons are universally a cut above other hotels in the price range, and far more interesting than cookie-cutter chains. That said, this was a pretty average hotel for Kimpton. The bar is nice and I appreciate that there were decent beers on tap.

Bedbug Infestation! avoid at all costs! rude manager/president Julian Dana insulted us and made us feel like she was put out from our experience. 10-15 bedbugs were crawling in plain sight on the bed and we had to leave anything that was already on the bed. Kinda goes without saying. Who would take things with bedbugs crawling over over them to infest your home? completely unhelpful and extremely rude management barely gave me a refund and offered nothing more than a horribly rude defensive attitude. Please avoid this hotel at all costs. Will never stay here again!

The hotel room is clean and quite roomy, works great for me and the two kids. The free Wi-Fi signal is a bit weak, the kids end up sitting in the doorway to get better signal. $35 valet parking is unnecessary as I found street parking quite easily nearby.

We had a two night stay. The room was spotless. The staff was very helpful and attentive. We will be staying here again.

I am staying right now for a conference through my job. It is very nice and clean with friendly staff and generous perks. I would stay again for sure.

This place is PHENOMENAL! The service was excellent! My wife and I were in town to attend the memorial service of a family member, which we told the front desk attendant (I don't remember her name, but she was African American) in pacing. She expressed her condolences, five minutes later she showed up at our door with a bottle of wine and a hand written note. We recieved a text message everyday while we were there from someone at the hotel just checking up on us to make sure we were doing ok. This place is PHENOMENAL! We will be staying here whenever we are in D. C. Choose this place, you will be glad you did.

Comfortable, cozy and clean. The beds and pillows were superbly comfortable, the rooms were well kept as well as the rest of the hotel and grounds. The bar has amazing cocktails are very reasonable prices. I would highly recommend it. It is also pet friendly!

The facilities are nice, and comfortable. The room was spacious and well lit, although the kitchenette could use a good scrub. The bar/restaurant is fantastic and the prices are reasonable. 5 stars for all of it. However, for a hotel described as a "boutique"; I have a couple of comments. First, the staff at the front desk lacked of empathy and service skills; attentiveness was nowhere to be seen (especially the young ones). At arrival, that was my very first impression, only to have it confirmed in the next several days. Second, as spring was almost around the corner, we had to put up with unexpected rains, and so we asked for umbrellas at the front desk (on loan, of course). They said that there was one in the room, which was true, but it was totally broken. After giving them the reasons, one of the employees went, reluctantly, to the back to "see what could be done", just to come back without any answer/alternative. Third, although the facilities seem to be well maintained, definitively they can do a better job when it comes to cleanliness. I've been in the Kimpton Hotels in Seattle and Chicago, and I had really good experiences. In DC, however; I wouldn't recommend this place.

+ Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, spacious rooms, everything you need is in the rooms. — Can be a little noisy, limited breakfast options, bathroom kind of small.

The hotel was in the works and nobody told us or we receive a discount for that reason. A cause of the works did not have conference room/working room with computers, nor nor dinning room (put 3 tables for 6 persons) at the reception and there tivimos that breakfast all guests at the hotel.
In addition, many design exotic but little functionality, since the sink was very high, just had a trash, there was no fridge in the room, did not put Notepad pen, or bags for soiled / feminine hygiene, blinds products not closed well, and the shower was a little number of goat, starting because it was not entirely closed (open part fixed screen) and is salia water, and so the water was in the opposite OPTONS where got water (which were required to go from one side to another to the temperature). The second day (at 9 in the morning, an hour before the end of the breakfast) were left without supplies, with which many people could not have breakfast. To top it off, they would not devoovernos a night that we had to cancel our flight cancellation. In short, I do not recommend it.

We took a stroll outside and had a ball. Our room was a great size, two huge beds, a beautifully updated bathroom (with a funky cool shower), large flat screen TV, and the best of all… Free Wifi! I was able to get a package that included onsite parking, and that was a HUGE plus. My only regret is that I was not able to stay longer. I definitely have this hotel on my list and will be staying there again soon.

Poor service. I stayed one night. And I ended up paying twice! they Charged my credit card two deferent amounts! And they charged me to park my car in the hotel park! The mini bar, it's a different story. I ended up calling my bank to dispute one of the charges. After I called the hotel customer service with no resolves to my issues.!

The hotel was under construction but the room was very nice. Comfortable tempurpedic beds. Loved the furnishing in the room. We were missing a microwave but they brought one up as soon as we requested one. Overall a great experience. Very close to Georgetown!

I definitely have this hotel on my list and will be staying there again soon. They were remodeling areas of the hotel at the time that I stayed there, but I'm thinking that is done by now. Besides, I could not even tell they were remodeling because I did not hear any noise at all. Even during the weekday we was there. I cannot wait to see what it looks like now, because I thought it was absolutely beautiful when I stayed there.

Great hotel, a little bit aways from the majority of the party scene but that's its appeal. It's a beautiful, intimate hotel with well-appointed rooms and affable staff. Chic restaurant-bar off the lobby. Close proximity to many embassies and the National Cathedral. Quick ten minute public transit trip to M Street in Georgetown. Parking is ample but a bit scary to get to through a labyrinth, claustrophobic underground parking garage plus it costs money. Lucky to have stayed here, and overall a really great experience.

Although you are doing work of expansion, I found him with esmerzdo service. Easy access to
the center of the city and the bronze on Sunday is excellent in quality and adequate.

We had a wonderful experience here! There was some renovation happening (construction noise from 8AM-8PM, which didn't effect us since we were there outside of those hours). They are EXTREMELY pet friendly! No weight limit for pets (includes ALL pets, even pigs apparently). No pet fee, offered dog beds and bowls if needed, and you can leave the pet in the hotel (there will be fees charged if the dog damages the room). Their customer service was great, the employees went out of their way to make our experience a good one. Firm beds, which I love, my husband didn't (ha ha too bad! ). Clean and comfortable. A good stay! $30/night parking fee to park at hotel, but there is free parking on the roads behind the hotel in the neighborhoods. Also, a good variety of restaurants only a few minutes walk down the street.

I've stayed at this location several times and each time was a pleasant experience. … the rooms a nice, clean and updated. … the place feels quite and relaxing. … I would definitely stay here again… its wothon walking distance to a whole foods and other places to eat like jimmy johns etc.

I have never left a review until now. The experience was that bizarre, cold, and unfortunate. It took us over 30 minutues to check in. We reserved a room with two beds but they were overbooked. So we were forced to get a cot which was fine if they hadn't charged us an additional $60 on top of their exorbitant rates. They didn't clean our room or change our towels. The soap had a hole in it, the wrapper was open and it appreared it had been used.

Bad service*** The service of the staff was un-professional (if you go there you will see) — I have traveled alot and I have seen hotels, this is more Motel and not a Hotel — overpriced and definitely not recommended. Choose a different option to enjoy the wonderful city of washington dc.

Average hotel. Breakfast was too expensive, better off going down the street.

I was never told there was a $100 deposit that had to be paid with your credit card you couldn't pay in cash and we won't even get it back for 30 days. Plus to park here it was $30/night on top of another deposit. I will never stay here again. The best thing about it was the bed was comfortable.

Hotel is in need of major upgrade. More of a motel than a higher end hotel. Parking was 30/night suprise! No breakfast, rude staff, overpriced for its value, but close to many stores, restaurants, bars. Beds were comfortable at least, room clean.

This is a good hotel. No continental breakfast though. The staff was accommodating for our request to check in early. The room was clean and no smell. AC worked. Beds were comfortable and the noise was less. This is close by to restaurants.

This hotel is wildly overpriced. I'm not sure exactly why, but the rooms and whole vibe are depressing and seem more like a motel than a high-priced hotel. I will say, however, that the gym is great, as it includes free weights, kettle bells and crossfit items (if you're into that sort of thing).

Terrible management, negligent, unapologetic, disorganized, unprepared. Don't book a large event here if you want your event to run smoothly or at all.

Its a quaint place, but be prepaired to pay. Our stay $430 for 2 nights. Check internet for possible better deals. They have enplaced a couple of security features; door key is required to access your floor from the elevator and it always stops on the lobby floor; access to the parking garage from outside requires you to call with your name and room number. Rooms are nicely set up and spacious, with free Wi-Fi. Those with Google Chromcast better have a mobile router for it to connect to because it won't connect to hotel Wi-Fi. Bathrooms are modernized but are small. No place to hang your wet towels and full glass water cups (unsanitary). Room doors are heavy so they close kind of loud and with rooms close together (some adjoining), it can be annoying. Restaurant is on the lobby floor a tad pricey, $14 breakfast buffet. Didn't try lunch or dinner. There are a couple of eateries down the street. Parking in the garage. $30 a day, so its advised to find parking on the street for the weekends since meters are free than. Garage Parking Caution: tight single lane garage that goes down under hotel (single lane includes entrance/exit). Staff were friendly and courteous, hotel is clean.

Very nice hotel for the price and location. Parking now costs $20/day which appears to be a change from a previous review. One peculiar setup was the shower. It wasn't a door or curtain but a sheet of glass that had an opening a 3/4s the distance from the shower head. Not a great design as it let water onto the floor. I would stay here again.
