Over all fir the amount we paid it was a nice place to stay. Rooms were roomy, no bed bugs when I checked. Also close to the boardwalk. I would stay here again.

My family had a great vacation! Price was great just a block from the beach. Yes it could have been cleaner. You get what you pay for! Staff was very friendly!

Should be zero stars: stay away from this place. A/D not working. ROACHES climbing wall. Listed as TV in each room, but there was only ONE TV in both rooms we rented for ourselves and family, and one didn't work at first, had to have management fix it. AMMENITIES LISTED ARE BOGUS… NO coffee, NO Ice machine… NO on many things… Microwave was full of old food that stunk and wasn't cleaned, the smell was sickening and made me have to go outside. Water on floor from condensation dripping from A/C vents. Only 2 towels per room. Even though non refundable, management said they would put us in another room the next night… where were we going to stay the first night? It was a holiday weekend with family from another state. Was told we would get a refund, but it hasn't happened yet. We had to drive from VA back to NJ, totally ruined our vacation with our family. (They thought it over and said NO REFUND when I was told to call them back to make sure the refund went through… they lied to my face) going through my credit card company now!. Stay away from this place!

Gave 5 stars so my review can be seen. My friends came to visit and stayed a couple hours and left. This is a nasty place to stay. They had holes in da wall. Management was not in the office when we called from the room no one answered. They also had bed bugs and when we said something to the manager he tried to make it seem like we was lien and he didn't wanna check either. Also they don't want to give us our money back.

Nasty, filthy place. Went into the room it was so dirty. If I was homeless I sleep on the street 1st. Should be torn down.

Where do I start. Should have read the reviews before I booked. Check in was quick and easy but when I pulled into the parking space below our room my son found a screw that l almost ran over. Room was dirty. Who ever cleaned did the bare minimum. We had a suite and the bed room had no electricity so when it got dark you had to use the bathroom light to see. Sheets had stains. Toilet ran all the time and never shut off. Stove was covered in grease. A lot of the electrical outlets had no covers. Trash can had a used feminine product stuck to the bottom. And the icing on the cake was killing a cockroach on the wall. Needless to say we packed up and checked out. Don’t waste your money here. So disgusting.

Not even one star (had to give them that to post review)! Ovens sealed shut! Air conditioning doesn't come on until it's 90°outside! Wow! Then… BEDBUGS! We we're ate alive with bed bugs! They would not help us with our things! Told us to throw our things away! Who does that! Had to call health Dept! Stay at your own risk! You've been warned! We stayed in room 103! This place should be condemned!

This place is a dump smoke detectors do not work, moldy shower curtains, filthy, lights don't eork, a million degrees in this place.

This is one of wost places to stay. They had bed bugs in the room we was in. The room number 103 and they eat me up and they wouldn't give us a refunded. All they would do is put us in a other room witch the roof was coming in. Dont go their.

Definitely the worst hotel at the oceanfront they had bedbugs which they didn’t believe us said we must’ve brought them from somewhere else told us to not call the cops if we didn’t leave. By far the worst day ever all the amenities that they say they have on the website is totally bogus truly one of the worst dumps out I would definitely recommend not staying at the Belmont you would be better off sleeping in your car. It was super dirty the oven didn’t work the stove was super nasty the towels and other stuff searches bed winnings with dirty had stains all over them just couldn’t believe my eyes at the place who’s is totally on comprehendible how disgusting this place truly was.

Only good for crashing. Unsanitary.

I’d rate 0 if I could cause I didn’t even stay here. I tried calling and said “I have a question” and I could hear the lady slamming the phone down and missing the first time, then hanging up the second time.

Didn't even try to stay, wouldn't even let my kids in. Just don't. I've stayed many places this one is the worst I've seen in my life. Was supposed to be a two night stay, she only refunded me for one. So dirty. Disgusting. Pubic hair on the folded towels. Pubic hair on the floor. I just couldn't stay. I always thought some reviews of hotels where extremely exaggerated but I am telling the truth. I checked in, a 3 year old let me into the office aka the owners apartment. We couldn't open the door. She told me the battery in the door was dead. She let me in with her key. I changed to go out for dinner. I couldn't believe what I saw. Just gross. I took my bags back in the car and after dinner we asked for a refund.

It's a great location, but it's a dive. Pluses are two room suites and a working kitchenette. Bathrooms are good. Beds are comfortable. Tv's are updated. Needs paint and repairs.

When my friends and I booked a room here, we didn't expect we would have to share it with cockroaches. We saw them on 3 separate occasions, one of which being in the middle of the night where one fell from the ceiling into my friend's bed. Otherwise, the hotel was just as you'd expect for the price. The room, while spacious (2nd floor room w 2 full beds and a queen), was outdated in terms of design, but not completely unpleasant. The room also comes with a kitchenette, which is typically hard to come by on a budget. I'd recommend staying here if you want a cheap accommodation that's close to the boardwalk, but remember to mind the pests.

Please, for the love of God, stay somewhere else. You really do get what you pay for. I've never written a review for anything but this is different. Cockroaches. Big ones. We stayed in room 204 which itself was pretty nice but holy roaches.

Absolutely nasty. The worst place I have ever been that bathroom was so dirty there was open cans left in the fridge and the table wasn’t even wiped down. We didn’t even stay there that night.

Lost our reservation that I made over 2 months ago even though I showed my email confirmation. We were send away. Never again!

I am a mobile mechanic. I repaired a vehicle for a guest at the Belmont Inn last night on Pacific Ave. In Virginia Beach. The owners of the motel and guest were more than happy for me to be there to help out.

Nice people, great rooms, a lot of space and storage, and clean. Great service and location. The beds were really comfortable after walking and swimming all day. We will definitly be back.

Parking is very limited. A/C in room barely worked we tried turning it down to 50 but room temp stayed between 75-80. Staff was very nice. Room was clean. Short walk to beach.

Customer service was not very good and the air conditioning did not work. Manager said it was because of how hot it was… it was only 78 degrees I would hate to see if it was really hot.
