I really expected more. We stayed at the other location on the beach and it was horrible. Very dirty and it smelled bad. This one in Norfolk has a better location but the restaurant had terrible customer service. We never were waited on and I even came back twice. Front desk didn’t seem to care. It is only me and my teen son away for a weekend trip. Our room had no bath toiletries. Now that I am in bed I checked the sheets and pillows. That is the tough one for me. All the other things I can forget but now I wish I could change the bed. Yellow Stains on every pillow no liners just casing and black dog hair on sheets. I would have rather not had the pet room. I don’t even have my pet with me. This is my time to get away from pet hair! I own a farm:) lol good thing I have another blanket because I can’t sleep. People are up and down the hallway slamming. I try to be considerate when I close the door quietly. I hate to complain but I’m not suggesting this to anyone. The guy told me he gave me a discounted rate to help but I think Its the discounted room for other reasons.

Kelly, (Manager) was a horrible human being and a bit of a racist. She stop checking me in to check in the guy behind me had me at the counter for 30 minutes only to receive the wrong room. She spoke with belittle and undermining tone and it was clear she didn’t want my type in her hotel. It saddened me that this behavior still goes on in the world. She knew what she was doing because she even sarcastically stated if I ever came back and chuckled. The parking is absurd as well In addition this was once an elegant hotel in its day but the upkeep isn’t totally up to par. There is a community microwave instead of a microwave in the room. Clearly COVID mitigation isn’t a factor at this location. I would not recommend this location until they get new management. Save your money their are much better hotels in the area with friendly staff.

What a GREAT experience! From check-in to check-out, everything was top notch! The parking valets were prompt and friendly, hotel reception/front desk were kind, expedient, and thoughtful, the bar staff was very friendly and accommodating (great Pina Coladas on the rocks), and the kitchen was truly amazing for a hotel! The lunches were delicious, and the dinners were fabulous! We are there all 5 days because it was just THAT GOOD! Spiced shrimp, She-Crab Soup, Ruebens, Chicken Quesadilla, Rigatoni pasta dish, plus the penne Parmesan pasta dish — not to mention the lunch specials prepared as an express special for our conference crew! Hats off to the Chef & kitchen/wait staff. **The make-up remover wipes were some of the best I have ever used… will be searching Amazon to order my own! Great attention to detail by the housekeeping staff! Dates of stay: Jan 15-19, 2020

We had an incredible wedding at the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel. The staff was nothing but helpful and the food was fabulous. The hotel was renovated and the river walk room is beautiful and spacious for any event. This venue helps with setting up the bar, tables, chairs, centerpieces and silverware along with cake stand and more. We were blown away with the service and beauty of the hotel. It is perfect for a wedding and we highly recommend you get married here. The hotel room was incredible with views of the river.
We worked with Emily Baker who was our wedding day of coordinator and she was Phenomenal every step of the way making sure our day was perfect. She was quick to respond, professional, super friendly and great at what she does. If you have the pleasure of working with her like we did you will not be disappointed. Thank you for making our wedding day and the planning process easy and amazing.

Clean and nice rooms. The pool was closed a little early. Their restaurant is great. The cowboy steak and lobster ravioli are 2 of the most delicious meals I've eaten. Their mimosas could use more champagne.

We arrived at 12 am in the night and they were still cleaning up our room. What more do you need to get an idea of their service? The room was pretty decent, except for the "welcome, prepare to die" note in the welcome packet which either the previous guests left as a warning or you can guess the other. The only good things about this place are the waterside views, modern setup and the breakfast. Overall this was not a bad place but what disappointed us was that it did not live up to its brand reputation.

Stayed at this hotel on the night of July 6th. I have stayed here in the past so I knew I would not be disappointed. Everything about this stay was just as impressive and 'perfect' as the previous stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable there were plenty of towels so what can I say? It was perfect! It is a busy hotel but the staff was always friendly and efficient and answered any question I had. I used the guest laundry facilities during my stay and there was plenty of soap and fabric sheets in the vending machines and all washers and dryers worked flawlessly. I look forward to my next visit to the area and another stay at the Sheraton/Norfolk Waterside Hotel.

Beautiful hotel. Completely under staffed service staff for the 4th of July. Bar/restaurant and room service terrible. Room service didn't answer the phone. Turned away from restaurant for bar with children where the 1 barmaid got progressively overwhelmed. The front desk staff were great, as was the hotel Floor Manager. The Restaurant area manager was showing the strain. Though he did successfully get us room service once approached f2f. Good hotel with the potential for being great. The best steak I'd had for sometime. Or was that because it 2 hours to order?

Nice place to stay. Cool being able to see the Navy Shipyard. Very close to great restaurants and bars at the Waterside. Club Room was okay. We've been to better. Attendants got behind on snacks, drinks, and appetizers all during our stay. The lady who was there our first night was apologetic and friendly but the young man the next night, not so much. Anyway, the room was very comfortable and clean, although a microwave in the room would be really nice. Refrigerator is really small but held our snacks and kept our water cold. Staff members are friendly. Valet parking only but there is a parking garage next door and you can get a voucher ticket from the hotel.

Working with the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel was OUTSTANDING! Even with any hiccups, their staff was ready to jump in and fix whatever was necessary. Shelton was their first line of defense. Several hotel tours I had already done, but the Sheraton was different. Shelton's attention to my requests and my kiddos made my choice easy. I stressed to him that there will be several kiddos and he simply said bring them on. Rhoda, the catering and beverage manager was the second line of defense. Not only did she help with getting food straight, but room reservations, reunion space, etc, all was her department. Every staff member we encountered during that stay made us feel welcome with a simple smile and genuine appreciation for us being there. Thank you so much for making the Mann-Chaney Family Reunion one to never forget :)

Non-stop construction noise, no warning that we would have to deal with the noise, totally unhelpful staff, TV didn’t work, rude and disrespectful valets, bellman who refused to help with luggage. In sum, I am shocked that SPG would let its brand be tarnished like this. You would be better off at a Motel 6.

Did not receive the harbor view room I paid for. There was a wad of toilet paper in the toilet when we first entered the room. The valet never acknowledged us or offered to help as we unloaded our bags. Not happy in the least. I want to point out that the only parking options are valet parking @ $26/day or garage parking @ $13/day. I was not aware of this when booking the room. Update: While my experience has been not good, Rhonda, the front desk person, worked with me to make things right. I am updating my review from a 1 star review to a 3 star review due to her awesomeness, compassion and patience.

Our visit started out a little rough. We went to our room to find maintenance in it. He called the front desk to get us another room, let us into that room and brought us new key cards. The room was very clean. I don't think our AC was working properly on the 3rd night but we weren't uncomfortable enough to switch rooms. We received a voucher for a free appetizer and 2 vouchers for the breakfast buffet. The first night we went to the restaurant in the hotel and waited quite awhile to be seated. When no one showed we sat ourselves. Finally a woman approached us and said "Do you guys need something? " No greeting and acted like we were bothering her. We orderded from the night menu — food was good, hot, didn't take very long to get it. We went back another night to use our appetizer voucher. There was a hostess there this time. We asked to sit outside and she pointed us to the door. We assumed she would follow but after awhile realized we were not going to be served. I went back inside to ask for menus and there was no one around. After waiting several minutes we left and went to a different restaurant. We had a similar experience with the breakfast buffet. We loved the room, front desk staff were very pleasant, and housekeeping was super. Restaurant and bar are good IF you can manage to find someone to serve you. Parking is a little unusual; you have to walk through another hotel in order to get to the parking garage and parking instructions were a little vague.

I only gave a 1 because we had to give stars. We won a free stay from my job. Sheraton offer nothing and make you pay for parking. Get my room wasn't advised hotel under construction. Woke up with banging and drills. Asked to be moved left my stuff in new room and went to beach came back floor was soak and wet from window all the way to between double beds. When advised was hung up on. Sister had to callback. Did get another room. Customer service was very poor. Never stay at this hotel. I have travel a lot this is the worst hotel I ever stay at.

Went to visit a friend staying there for business. Clean nice hotel but visitor parking is outrageous. $20 valet parked at Dominon Tower for 5 dollars for 3 hours. Was quite a hoof from parking garage to hotel.

I gave this hotel a 2 and think that was generous. The ONLY thing that this hotel offers that's nice is the location on the water. Everything else sucks. There's a charge for the parking garage and it's a long was from the hotel. There's a charge for Wi-Fi… what hotel charges for that today? Domestic beer is $5.15 for something they pay 75c for. And the place is under construction… no rebates, but we have to put up with the smell and dirt and almost impossible to drop one off at the front door. And I stay in hotels, including Sheratons all over the world, sometimes several times a month. This one needs a lot of improvement.

Overall great experience. Internet sometimes is slow. But you can get premium for about $8. Parking is $8/day too and located 5 min away. Optional is vallet. But… club level offer great breakfast, afternoon snack, coffee station and space to relax with friends. We love the place.

Quite old hotel with probably the worst business lounge of all time. Soft drinks were always available, alcoholic drinks for a fee until about 7pm. From then on, the lounge was out of service. Uum food there were cheese cubes and crackers, sometimes eime soup or small dough bags. The rooms were fine, on the 10th floor with a small balcony. On the right side with views of the waterfront. The breakfast buffet, open… At the Rezeptiom the check-out cost me 20min discussion, because a anfere company had reserved the room for me, but of course I needed my company address Suf the bill. This was supposedly not to be edited in the system. After 20mon came the supervisor and from there HST it still 2min lasted. Next time I'll take another hotel with certainty.

Nice hotel. I'm surprised it was only rated 3.5 stars at the time of this review. I've been many other 3-3.5 star hotels and felt like this one should be rated higher. The location of the hotel is great with lots of places within walking distance nearby with the added bonus of a great view of the water. Everything at the hotel was comfortable and clean as well.

I have to openly admit that every interaction I had with staff was wonderful. Everyone courteous, attentive and helpful. If it was just about them, they would have received 5 stars. However, the restaurant/ room service is atrocious. I have called the number at least 6 times over 4 hours and left messages. No response or call back. I wound up going down to the restaurant to get something to eat, consequently wasting precious sleep time that I need to make sure I don't miss my flight in the AM. I am very disappointed and I will not be staying here again.

Pros: The hotel is extremely nice inside. The rooms are large. The beds are conformable. The staff is really nice and helpful. My iPhone charger broke and they were able to sell me a new one. Everything was very clean. The gym is decent. The view is great. Meh: The buffet breakfast was very good but it was nothing spectacular. Cons: The room walls were very thin, especially out to the hallway. If someone talks in the hallway, you can hear it. I was several rooms away from the elevator and could still hear them going up and down. In my room there was a door to another hotel room that didn't have a proper lock on it. It had one of those "door guard" locks which acts just like the door chains. It wasn't the most secure feeling without the bolt. This door was also very thin and I could hear into the other room easily.

This was the host hotel for my wedding ten years ago and it was under renovation. Last night I was there for NYE and the hotel is still under renovation! Honestly, I don’t see a difference but the room was nice. I was promised a king, but got two queens instead; it took a second visit to the front desk to get the room key to work; presented a voucher for breakfast but still received a bill; and my hair caught fire from a candle. However, the stay wasn’t too bad :-) I had a great time at the party.

What a beautiful amazing hotel! Right on the water. I had a king room with a balcony overlooking. The Elizabeth River and Portsmouth. Room 870. Everything about this property is just amazing!

Nice hotel, with a clean, quiet room. No issues at check-in. The gym has about 4 treadmills, 2 bikes, and 2 ellipticals. It has some floor mats, weights up to 50lbs, medicine balls, bands etc.  Small gym but if you value your health you can squeeze in a good workout in there. Breakfast on the 10th floor is nice for those that can enter.  Unfortunately, at this location, they provide no protein (bacon, sausage, etc, ) besides watery eggs like other Sheraton's that I have been to. They also have oatmeal, toast, yogurt, jams, butter, Starbucks brand coffee for breakfast. The lounge is open 24 hours (for those that qualify) and you can grab cokes, water, snacks etc. As you see fit. This hotel is also within walking distance to the Waterside restaurants. If you are in the area I would recommend you give this hotel a try.

This was my third time staying at this hotel, the experience was great until my most recent booking. How is it that you making a booking and unable to cancel without being charge the total amount. My reservation is almost one month out and I being advised that I can't cancel. I will stay this time but never again. We only wanted to cancel and change the date and bring more friends with us. Instead of booking one room we would have book 20 rooms. This is what happens when you have disrespectful individuals who work in customer service. Instead of listening to a customer concerns, you talk over them and say what you can't do.

I stayed here for the first time last November. I requested an early check-in, was not able to get it, came back at regular check in time and my room still wasn't ready and the system would not accept my company's check for my room. The desk staff was unhelpful and slightly short with me. After walking around with all my luggage for the whole day, My room wasn't ready until 6pm. The desk staff softened and gave me a complimentary breakfast and access to the lounge for my trouble. The hotel was clean and the room was lovely once I got into it. I have to stay at another starwood hotel this November and I'm hoping it goes better.

Literally the worst stay I've ever had in a Sheraton. I would have changed hotels if I weren't stuck for a conference occurring at the hotel itself. When I booked the hotel, I called directly and requested early check in. I was told I would have to pay extra, but it would be accommodated. I got in at 11:30 AM and was told my room was not ready, but I could downgrade to get a room. I did not want to downgrade and my conference started in an hour. The gentleman at the front desk was so rude and had a serious attitude. I asked for the manager, and he handled it well. I got a room relatively quickly, but was still late for my conference. After the conference I came back to take a nap and realized the bed was broken, crooked, and the box spring looked like an accordion. They moved me to a different older room that smelled and the bed looked the same, so I went back to the previous room. The only nice person I encountered was the cleaning gentleman who agreed that the bed was severely broken and told the front desk manager to put me in the show room next door. I ended up in that room, which was fine. The bed was cheap and extraordinarily uncomfortable. The air conditioner didn't work, it just ran when it felt like it and didn't keep the temperature I set it at. The tub never drained while taking a shower and pooled water. I went to the bar to grab a glass of wine on my second night there, it was the bottom of the bottle, old, and oxidized.

Often times in the service industry the art of customer service has been lost. Not here, everyone from the valet service to the kitchen staff were AMAZING! We were warmly greeted every day, asked if we needed anything and treated like we mattered. We really wanted hot chocolate one day and we didn't see it on the room service menu but we called down and asked anyways. They said they would see what they could do and send someone right up. It took about 20 minutes but they delivered hot chocolate packets, a kettle of hot water, cream and sugar. I really think they went out and purchased this just for us. Again, we were amazed. We were celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary and we will be back.

Hotel staff is always very welcoming and help assist whenever possible. CLEAN and awesome outdoor terrace area for their restaurant with a view of the waterfront! This hotel is uniquely located at Waters edge next to many attractions including Military ships, Market area, and a overall vibrant and clean Downtown.

They are refurbishing but in the meanwhile sections of the interior are worn and stained (carpets). The bathrooms don't even have steam vents. For a location that has school and family reunions which will bring in people of all ages there is absolutely nowhere to sit. In the walk from my room to the elevator then down a long corridor to the different rooms our functions were in they had no chairs, couches or benches for those of us with mobility issues. Dinner buffet our first evening was outstanding but the banquet meal left a lot to be desired. Most of the roast beef was very rare and tough and when I asked for the fish instead they said they had no extra meals. They do not have free self parking. Valet is all that is available unless you park blocks away and walk back to the hotel, not an option for me. I did get a discount because I have a Handicap Card. Furnishings in room were worn but the bed was good.

I was only visiting the Norfolk Sheraton for a chess tournament. I stayed with a friend that lived in the city, so I have no experience of the rooms or facilities. I did experience however the exemplary staff on site. Every member of the team (from custodian to front desk) was quick to offer service, information, and a smile.

It's good place to stay during chess tournament. Hotel staff were polite and respectful to guest. Location was good and easily accessible to many local attractions.

Attended a family reunion, construction still under way. Beds comfortable, my room didn't have a view, no problem. Mixed signals from the dining room/ bar staff about seating in an almost empty restaurant. After being seated at a table near the windows for drinks only. My party was approached and asked to move to the bar we refused and were asked again. No dice, we wanted the water view without being on the patio. That incident changed my perception of the atmosphere. The close location of the ferry and live music about 500 yards from hotel was a bonus.

For how much they charge for a room my stay was a disappointment. The morning buffet, which isn't complimentary, cost $17 for a single person and had less selection than what you get at a place that offers free breakfast. The room was decent, however my bathroom floor was kind of dirty. The location was nice as it was within walking distance of the Waterside District. The staff was friendly, however the room service people never picked up the phone. Overall it is a decent hotel, but the price is outrageous for a mediocre stay.

Planned reservations for 3pm. No idea when the room would be ready. I never do online reviews but this place is ridiculous. This is the 2nd corporate stay that has been a nightmare. Would never recommend this place.

Requested hypoallergenic pillow when I made my reservation. Room had down pillows and it took over 2 hours to get replacement pillows and a room service menu. I ended up being late to the concert I came into town for. But the manger was accommodating and pleasant. She worked it out for me. Guest services staff were not great, but the guys running things to were pleasant. Stay was otherwise fine.

Honestly well below expectations. Dated rooms, no mini fridge, no continental breakfast, no extra plugs or USB for charging phones, exorbitant prices for the food and parking isn't included either. $13 bucks in the garage that's next door or $25 for valet. You can get much nicer accommodations for the same price elsewhere. The staff however were polite and helpfull and the room was clean.

Stayed there because was attending the Virginia beer festival. Walking distance to the venue. Our room was very clean, bed and pillows were confortable. If you have a bunch of luggage and don't want to pay for valet service, make sure to unload while in front of the hotel. The self parking garage is kind of far if you have heavy stuff or a lot of luggage to carry.

Great people in the bar/ dining area. Great atmosphere. The room we got wasn't what was pictured. My boyfriend got this place because it was on the water, but our room faced the city, but the picture of the room showed it facing the water. We live in Norfolk so we got it to just have a nice night out together and to be able to watch the water. So if you prefer the room with the view, make sure to ask them if that's what you are getting.

Wonderful hotel in an even better location. Wish there was fridge and microwave in rooms. Hotel resturant is outrageously expensive, other than that its a great stay.

The luncheon was a bit odd, a scoop of chicken salad, tuna salad and potatoe salad next to some field greens. The staff where pleasant but the only bathroom downstairs was being cleaned when it let out. Bad idea.

Prices were excessive for the quality of food. Hors d'oeuvre (Calamari) was dry, overcooked in old oil, and clumped together. Service was tremendously slow, unfriendly and scattered. The food-serving area was not accommodating to any parties and the bartender was working hard but messing-up, while a supervisor was slow and indifferent and barely supportive.

The location is nice right by the water and close to the mall and bars. The room was ok, not great like I had thought. Service at the restaurant by one server was rude, the bartenders were nice though. The dishes we ordered did not live up to the price we paid for them, the she crab soup was excellent however. Overall the night was ok, just not great like I would have expected from an establishment like this.

Breakfast is awesome. Rooms are great. Front desk and house cleaning were all great. Only complaint I had was that I had to wait a half hour before using the fitness room because one of the circuit breakers had been flipped and a maintenance guy had to reset it. But they took care of it quickly and it didn't really have a major impact on my stay. Overall excellent, would definitely recommend it.

Right by the water with nice views of Elizabeth River. Very close to downtown eateries. The staff was very very nice. The rooms would benefit from more electric outlets.

You walk into the hotel and you think, it write this is a classy place; then you get to your room and realize not so much. Well let's start with the fact that when someone takes a shower you cab hear the pipes screaming in your room. Next, when you do take a shower in your room there is no fan to get rid of the steam so it just stays in your room and heats it up, alright for the winter but come summer… There is no Wi-Fi only hard wire, so if you think you are going to do work while relaxing on your extremely firm bed, think again. Like I said the bed is extremely firm but the pillows are the saving grace on it.

The hotel is a little rough around the edges, a little dirtier than I would enjoy (we found a dirty diaper in our room) but it's in a great location and priced reasonably.

Nice hotel. Had very comfy beds. The bathroom was spotless. Great harbor balcony view. We got room service and while it was delivered quickly my boyfriend's burger was not very good. My she crab soup was good. The location was close to the Norva music venue.

Hotel was clean with no major issues. Staff was friendly. Parking garage is a short walk away and the room service meals are nothing special. Upgrading to the Club level was worth it though with a private floor (10th floor with a dedicated lounge with drinks and food all day).

The Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel boasts a nice sea view, and is one of the only local options for pet owners. There was a slight annoyance when our minivan wouldn't fit in the hotel's garage, but we were offered a discount on the valet service in exchange.

I did not stay at the hotel, but visited the hotel for a VMEA conference. The facilities were nice; nothing to complain about!

I was woken up in the middle of the night by a loud drilling sound. I had to call the front desk several times to get any response from the staff and ended up getting up at 12:30am and physically going down to the lobby to request that somebody come take a look for the source of the noise. The night manager and the security guard escorted me back to my floor where the security guard described the sound as "a dying cow bellowing for her calf". They gave me a different room 4 floors down. The sound was still there but fainter, but in this room the vent to the AC rattled loudly. I had to turn on a white noise app to drown out the sound and in the end, got 4 hours of sleep. Imagine my further dismay when upon check out I learned that not only was my room rate not dropped, but that the rate of the room, $309, quoted to me over the phone, did not include a$50 tax surcharge. I paid close to $400 for one of the worst nights sleeo of my life, and with no breakfast and no free Wi-Fi. In a word Sheraton sucks and I will never stay there again. $400, moaning pipes, no free Wi-Fi. Bite me, Sheraton.

Beautiful views from my room. The staff was pleasant and accomodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Rooms are somewhat dated but I had a great experience here. Staff were more than helpful and location is great!

Check in was terrible and Valet was a dismal failure and it got worse from there. Even with do not disturb sign on door, maid tried to enter the room. Room service phone number is expired Verizon message. On phone staff is angry and miserable and completely unapologetic. Don't waste your time or money. I have been to motel 6s with more class.

As a host of a TV show being filmed here in Norfolk Granby theater, I rely on professional accommodations. I had the pleasure of meeting with the general manager of the hotel and arranging all of our future plans. This hotel is very business and pleasure travel friendly. I highly recommend the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Norfolk.

My initial experience was. Ok. But 3 weeks later after seeing my credit card has been hit for an additional $40 for NOTHING. NOT HAPPY! I called to inquire and the lack of customer service skills is appalling! Supposed "manager" Crystal was by far the worst! BE CAREFULL. Even a local phone call will be charged to you card.

Not terrible but there are better places to stay in Norfolk. Hotel is in desperate need of repairs and a thorough cleaning.

This Sheraton is shabby. Cons: Filthy elevators; filthy lobby furniture with stains on the upholstered chairs and black dirt on the arms of the leather chairs, these could easily be cleaned. No trashcan on the patio, no ashtrays on the patio for the smokers; sagging on one side of the king size bed in my room; other family members complained of noisy air conditioning that sounded like a coffee grinder and poor air conditioning (I did not have this problem). Pros: Pleasant and helpful staff with the exception of the valets who were lazy and slow to respond. The restaurant manager was more than helpful, the bartenders were attentive although they were often overworked, the restaurant and bar were understaffed in the evenings, but during the day they were ok. The breakfast buffet was very good and the food that I ordered from the kitchen was good. I would probably not stay here again.

The hotel was great a nice view of the river. The problem lies with the restaurant in the hotel. I made special arrangements to come down to see a friend of mine that was the lead singer of a band. I talk to the manager he said he would hold me a table with a good view to take pictures of the band. I got there picked out my table. Went to get dress and came back down and 4 ladies where sitting at my table. I talk to the waitress and she said it was nothing they could do. They gave me a table around the corner by the door where you can’t see anything. We waited at least 45 mins and a waiter never comes over to take our order. I went to the hostess and asked her if I could get a cup of water or a waiter. She was rude, but gave us two glasses of water with an attitude. My husband finally got up and went to the bar to order us some food. I swear I never got a waiter to come to our table until 1hour and 30 minutes later. If it was not for my fiend singing in the band, I would have made a screen and left. I feel like they cater to regulars because a table came open and they refuse to move us to that seat. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE! Sheraton please get a new restaurant because they don’t have the same standards as you. I hope they go out business very soon.

Let me say first that the staff at this hotel was very, very friendly and helpful! That said, I made a reservation weeks in advance for a waterfront room, and they checked us in to a much smaller, non-waterfront room than the one I'd already paid for. They fixed the mistake right away (and were very nice about it) which makes me wonder why they didn't just get it right in the first place. We ordered a mini-fridge for the room ($10 a day) in advance, and, instead of having it ready and cooled down for us when we arrived, a maintenance man (again very nice) brought it to the room as we were trying to "move in" and then had to come back to move it to the proper room once I sorted that out. We got there at about 11:00 pm which should have given them plenty of time before we arrived and saved all of us the awkwardness of having him move the appliance into our room in the middle of the night when we were trying to settle in. The bed was comfortable, although I do like a cotton pillow to mix in with the down, but the furniture was dinged up and in pretty bad shape for a $200 room. There was a charge for Wi-Fi, so we went without, and that was rather relaxing. They even charge for local calls, but I guess we all have cell phones by now. This is the second time we've stayed here with a similar experience. When we come back next year, we will surely stay at the Marriott. It's not that much further away from Town Point Park and much, much nicer for about the same price.

The hotel and staff were great while we were staying there for the evening. It all changed though when we left and forgot something in our room. We called back later that day and was directed to the lost and found where I left a message. No call back. Then I called back the next day and spoke with a manager who would look into it. No call back. Finally I called a 3rd time and I spoke with a young lady who PROMISED me she would call me back with an answer before she left for the evening. Again, no call back. I'm giving up on the hotel and our item we left. It is unfortunate too because the hotel treated us great and even upgraded our room since it was our anniversary.

I'm incredibly disappointed by this hotel and its services. I checked in last night and was given a room at the club level only to find that, upon arrival, my bed was broken and laying left-to-right at a 20 degree angle. With one leg of the bed broken and laying under it. After calling and asking for a different room, I was told that there were not enough staff members to bring me a key and I would need to pack my things, come to the main lobby, and return to the club level floor for my second room. As I was walking to the hallway of the second room, I heard a high noise level with noticeable drunken partying, not muted by the thickness of these hotel walls. As it turned out, this room not only neighbored mine but was, in fact, a suite with the door between the two shut and locked. I listened to loud profanity and shouting mixed with the sound of hitting, screaming, and drunken murmurs until I called security at 3 AM. They arrived within minutes (kudos) but then left before the loud, drunken profanity aimed at "whoever called security" began. Which was immediately. Things finally calmed down at 4 AM and resumed at 6 AM. For my trouble, I was given a free full breakfast — not a continental breakfast, as this already comes free with a 10th floor stay. When I arrived for my full breakfast, I asked my waiter about his favorite menu item. He recommended the buffet, which looks EXACTLY like a continental breakfast, mini cereal boxes included.
