The floors in the room were sticky and dirty. Within a few hours my socks were black. The toilet didn’t work properly. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. The outlets for electric were not good and didn’t work. The breakfast was nice, as were the staff… except for when we checked in. The clerk was rude and unsmiling, even though we tried to get her to smile a few times. I will not stay here again. I will pay more next time for a better room.

Cleanliness of bathroom floors. Very dirty in grout and around walls. Check with your bank they DOUBLE charged me after I prepaid for the room. I spoke with another guest and she had the same problem. Best bet is not to stay at this hotel.

Filthy and poorly maintained. The hallways downstairs smelled like someone had urinated. A/C units filters have not been changed in years. Not the cleanest place.

I came here to visit family over the Labor Day weekend. The hotel is close to my destination and had a vacancy last minute. I have one comfortable king-size bed, the room smells good and is clean.

Very clean rooms, very good staff, awesome breakfast. I liked this hotel. Awesome experience with Quality inn Norfolk Naval base.

Pretty clean, comfortable bed. The sink in my room drains slow. Overall I am happy with the accommodations.

I think it is over priced for a roadside motel. It is a tad bit shabby but perfectly acceptable. I really appreciate that these places are replacing the 20 year old nasty carpet w laminate flooring. Much cleaner! Breakfast was substantial; coffee & waffles in abundance. You can't beat the customer service; great friendly staff.

Great location in regards to base, plus right next to plenty of places to eat. Staff is really friendly and responsive. The building conditions and surrounding lot could use a bit of work, such as trimming the bushes back, and pressure washing the walkways. The rooms are nicely furnished.

The hotel was ok. The staff were fun. The smoking rooms could use air fresheners, just because I smoke doesn't mean I want a stinky room. There was flooding at the entrance.

Stayed here for 3 days. There was a misunderstanding on the reservations and the staff made it right. May not be the newest or modern but the staff was great. Thank you for doing what you do, families traveling to see loved ones are stressed enough.

The front desk clerk was very nice. Room wasn't very clean and noise was very loud. The breakfast was very good. Loved it. Pill is nice and warm. All in all the place was nice just needs lots of updates and fixing.

I am only giving a one star because there isn't an option for zero stars. Omg! What a pig pen! Sheets stained, pillow cases dirty, roaches in the room, stains on the floor. The fridge does not even get cold.

The staff that work the front desk do what they got to do to make sure that you're happy and they are also very good at conversation. Very fun and geared towards making sure that you have a great stay. The people who clean the rooms do a very good job and always make sure that you have fresh towels and fresh sheets every single day.

Wow, how can I start this? First, the pool is molded and it smells like its over chlorined. The Guys at the front are very nice but that can’t make up with rooms. The floor in my room seemed like it has not been mopped in a while, the aircon/heater is nasty. The furniture especially the night stands seems like there’s a sticky liquid on it. It’s very convenient since the WaWa is close for food and stuff. I don’t think the fire alarm works either.

Larry is very friendly. I loved the housekeepers. They are friendly and very accommodating. Unfortunately the beds had springs coming out. When I told Danielle she did nothing about it. Pool was very dirty. Not much for breakfast variety.

Relaxing place to go for a little getaway. Breakfast was awesome, bed was comfortable! Housekeeping are doing a terrific job! Far as front desk for the most part friendly as always some people are just not happy with them selves. You just keep it moving let your light shine regardless☺

The outside of the hotel got to it is falling apart vibe. The bathtub could use better cleaning because had bugs walking on the edges of it and didn't feel clean after the shower. After waking from few hours of sleep had bugs all over cupcakes that were still in the case. The room it self got a bug issue and not sure if they always been in the room or coming outside. The floor was still dirty when first came in. Didn't have many plugs you could use. The pool and the pool area could really use a deep clean. Your better off at the Hampton which is like few minutes walk away, it little more expensive but a lot better as a hotel and the pool a lot nicer there.

I stayed here with my children two nights. I thought it was a good deal and had high expectations because we stayed at Quality Inns before and they have been good. This was close to base and looked okay so we stayed here. The first night definitely made me regret picking this place. The second night we stayed here was out of pure necessity as no other hotel had any vacancies and believe me I tried hard to go somewhere else. If you can do not stay here! It is dirty, and there are definitely shady affairs happening here. Yelling, screaming, crying late at night, I did not feel safe at all.

I like this hotel. It's quite clean by my experience. Danielle and Ty and excellent with customer service. I would recommend anyone to use this location.

Michele at the desk was great! Room was comfortable and clean.

Power wash the walk ways to remove gum, dirt and grim. Clean the HVAC units to remove the stinky sock odor. If you want better you need to spend $200.00 and up. Other than that the place seems ok so far. So far.

I had to wash my sheets in the shower with bleach because the one working washer was being used and I could literally see the dead bugs on the sheets. Need a smoke? Just check the lint catcher of the dryers. Wi-Fi sucks. The pool water was piss yellow. The gym smelled like moldy gym socks. Sheets stained. I tried REALLY hard to like this place. I’m stuck here for a month since there were no lodgings available on base. Where to begin? The walls might as well be paper and they put people in the same rooms in the same area so you’re stuck hearing every piss taken, phone vibrate, conversation and door slam. I’ve had a crack/meth head moving furniture and pacing (stomping) in the room above me at 3 a. M. Wake me up, a pimp yelling at a prostitute in the parking lot last night at 3 a. M. An old couple woke me up to the sounds of them having sex the other morning with their bed hitting the wall against my bed, sugar flies and ants, and house keeping doesn’t sweep. The Wi-Fi is garbage, my 3g gets better service. I’ve been here almost 2 weeks and I’ve yet to have a single full night of undisturbed sleep. The location is convenient to base but with all the money they’re making from long term staying military members, you’d think it’d go to QUALITY since it’s a QUALITY Inn. All of the washers are broken except one but you have to wash your clothes twice anyways because it sucks. The only good thing I’ve experienced here is the breakfast.

Could have been cleaner… sheets had marks and floors dirty… no end of the world bad… other than that good stay.

Breakfast wasnt too bad and the rooms were good. Hotel looks a little run down, but it was great for the price. Average Uber/Lyft ride from here to the boardwalk in Virginia Beach was 30 minutes for $28.

This has to be the worst establishment I've ever experienced I have stayed at 3 different Quality Inn hotels in the last 2 months and I have had the same experience the hotels are dirty the floors are filthy and don't even think of taking a bath. My reservation was for the military ship homecoming so you would have thought it would be decent. This establishment should be shut down because they are definitely not living up to there name.

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a hotel. Mind you this was the only hotel we could get in the area this weekend everything was booked. You guys jacked up the price of your rooms for an event which is fine. We tried to do early check In you wouldn't allow it. Then we show up just before four and we can't get an infant bed because all the house keeping staff is gone for the day. The front desk clerk is a rude condescending person when all I'm trying to do is get my son to sleep. I politely asked him to call someone to get us an infant crib and he told me it's my fault I didn't specify. I didn't know hospitality had expiration hours and your unable to provide for your guest after 3pm. — at Quality Inn Norfolk Naval Base. If it were possible to give a negative star rating I would.

My husband son and I checked in at 3 pm asked for a pack n play. We were rudely told by the front desk they were locked away and the cleaning staff had left for the day. My husband asked if they could call someone to come unlock it and again we were rudely told no. Around 8:45 pm my husband went back down again to ask if there was anything they could do trying to keep our son in the bed just wasn't working, after rudely being told no again my husband said he wanted a manger to call him in the morning and headed back to the room. 5 minutes later a loud pounding on our door, the rude front desk employee pushed a pack n play into our room. Not only do you have rude employees, but they openly lie to your guests. $200 a night to be spoken rudely and lied to? Thought this would be a better experience. Glad we fly out very early tomorrow.

The night staff was very nice. But the room was dirty and smelled of mildew.

The room was well appointed, it had hardwood floors to keep that pesky beach sand at bay. You can connect your computer to the TV via the little media center that has Ethernet, HDMI, VGA, etc. Beds slept well and the room was clean. The outside doesn't offer the most spectacular views, but it is to be expected when you are staying at a base. Overall, it is a good value for the money. I would definitely stay here again.

Maids will steal your things! My phone charger with a 10-foot USB Cable went "missing". The person at the front desk just says nothing was turned in to him and he'll ask the head maid about it later, I never heard back. The floors are disgusting, a picture of my socks after walking around the room twice is attached. My socks were clean before walking the room, the floor has a slight sticky feeling to it. We ended up making a walkway of towels to the shower. The bed sheets have ink-blot stains on them indicative of bedbugs, but didn't physically see any. We only stayed here because the Hilton a few buildings down the street was booked up. The Hilton is quite a bit nicer with larger rooms, doors that open to the inside of the building, clean feeling beds and sparkling bathrooms. Despite how much nicer the Hilton actually is from the questionable "Quality" Inn, the Hilton is actually cheaper to stay at, we checked out and moved as soon as the Hilton had a room open.

Omg! What was I thinking coming here! The rooms smell like mold! I had to change my room because it was so nasty! But the room I changed it too wasn't any better. There was dog pee in the damn sheets! Wtf Ughh and worst of all the head board came off the wall? I really want my money back this is very nasty!

The room smelled musty. The carpet was dirty. The location was good. The service was good.

Loud uncomfortable the room smells awful and the garbage is conveniently located dead center in the parking lot directly next to your room so you get to hear it bang every morning as it is slammed down. Also room service staff is extremely rude and will disregard your do not disturb and get mad at you when you are still asleep and they see you laying there when they barge in anyway, I verified the do not disturb was there and it was she still felt the need to tell me off for being asleep on a Saturday that I'm not working.

Dirty. Rude front guest. Parking lot is small and awkward. Thin walls.

Rooms were nice. Medium quality. Kind staff and neighbors.

You get what you pay for, I suppose. The place is kind of dirty & not the best, but it serves the purpose if all you plan on doing is going to sleep & getting up to get a shower before leaving. The staff was nice, depending on who you integrated with.

Room was dirty and smelled bad… beds were very uncomfortable and bedspread has paint stains on it. Carpet was fifthy. Arrived 1st 3 an. Checked out at 8 am… STAY AWAY.

Over priced for one and lower price advertised. The bathroom had black mold randomly all over the walls and ceilings. Even the wallpaper wanted to get run away. The attended at the desk wasn't that kind and had an attitude uponrespondimg to questions I had about the hotel. I would give negative starts if I could.

Very close to base, but also close to a lot of good restaurants. Rooms are average as far as hotels go, and sometimes the showers are cold, but the staff is very good and relaxed.

No hassle reservation, clean spacious room, roomy parking. Polite staff willing to make changes to reservation at last minute with no hassle. Close enough to ODU campus. Will stay again.

Old motel with outdoor room doors, room smells of mildew, sheets feel damp, a/c is squeaky, peeling paint in the bathroom, mysterious red stain on the carpet, fridge is so gross I think I'll drink my refreshments room temp. Blech. Will be calling other hotels hoping for a cancellation vacancy. Nothing "Quality" about this hotel!

We arrived on Thursday evening. Room service knocked on our door at 900 AM Friday asking if we wanted room services. We declined at that time but hoped we get service later. After being gone for most of the day our room still had not been touched. We did receive new towels after asking for them. Saturday we did not receive any room service. We asked for towels around 8 pm on Saturday and we were told they were out. On Sunday morning we asked again and was given the same answer. When we asked one of the house cleaners were told that they were just washing towels now. We did get one pool towel and ended using hand towels to dry off with. Our bathroom trash can was emptied one time. Our trash can in the room was not emptied by the staff during our stay. And I do not believe that house keeping had vaccums on their carts. Lots of little stuff on the carpet we had just arrived. We had a 9 month old infant in our room so it was not a good thing. I found an empty ketchup packet between the bed and night table. Overall it was a very dirty room and would not stay there unless it was the last place available.

The exterior is poorly maintained, housekeeping was horrible as there was moldy coffee left in the coffeemaker and used toiletries from the previous guests. In addition, light did not work, drawers were broken and there was a cigarette hole in the bedspread.

Staff was great and professional but hotel room smelled of mildew. We asked for another and they kindly gave us a new room.

Very nice staff-all 3 shifts♡ Cleaning was great! The breakfast was one of the best continental ever — and the staff was great too! If back in this area, we will be back and would recommend :)

2 stars only because the customer service is ok. The rooms smells like an old attic, floor were poorly cleaned, there was still hair in the bath drain, and if that wasnt bad enough my one year old had found some one else's toe nail and tried to put it in her mouth, this was not even after being in the room 30 minutes after a 6 hour car ride and the front desk offered to move me rooms but being extremely tired driving in a car with two little kids and all of our belongings we decided to stay, but hey they gave us 10 dollars of the price (sarcasm). I would recommend staying at any other hotel in the area. Quality inn is 93 dollars a night I would expect to pay 35 to 40, feels like a place you would bring a cheap hooker!

I have stayed here once before. My previous stay was exactly what I expected from a 2 star hotel. This time around I have ended up with very rude staff. I needed to extend my stay but the lady did not want to stop watching her show to help me. My room smelled like mold, toilet broke. The bedding smelled like some unwashed man slept in them. Internet was alright. However flr a 2 star hotel the breakfast is decent. The typical biscuits and gravy. Boiled eggs. Muffins. Nothing astounding but at least there was variety. First guy who checked me in was super polite. Maids consistantly made my bed each day that I stayed.

My family or four stayed here for two night just to have a nightmare for an experience! The first experience was there was not enough towels for my family and then to be told they had no more clean towels. Second was the water drained out of the tube very slow while taking a shower. Third and the worse was when my family went down for the continental breakfast the little black lady was taking the breakfast away from my family as they were trying to serve themselves. Never in my life have I or my family been racially discriminated against but this Lady made it very clear she had a problem with Caucasians. I do plan on contacting Quality Inn home office for the worst service I've ever experience from a hotel.

Horrible experience. Customer service was decent but the rooms were dirty actually had to move my room because the sheets were filty and the carpet looked disgusting. The Wi-Fi was poor could barely watch nexflix on it. The remote to the t. V. Didn't even work. The room was poorly lite and room service didnt even make the bed. This is a poorly kept hotel and I can promise you I will never try this place nor any other establishment in their chain EVER again.

Really it's great, clean, customer service is great, people are polite.

They quoted me a price and then charged me $15 extra at the front desk. When we got to our room someone was already in it. Then they offered us a king for four.
