We had our Church Marriage Retreat there. Great service, great food and spacious rooms for our events! OVERALL GREAT…

Very pleasant Boutique hotel. Definitely not like the large chains, A style all its own. I totally recommend saying here for even just one night get away. Recut national breakfast consisted of fresh fruit croissants, Cereals, juices, coffee and a great Hot tea selection. As you probably noticed I am a tea lover and we typically Get forgotten. Also wanted to mention the location of this hotel, It is located right in the middle of Memorial cities Citi Center, Perfect! Only One minus too this Hotel, THE PARKING! Overnight valet parking, extremely expensive I think the Hotel should give some sort of discount to their guest. If you down to valet You will need to park in the parking garage with all the other guest that will be hanging out at city center which are many. So, also not very convenient.
I think if the hotel could fix that problem it would be perfect.

We came here for our anniversary weekend. Beautiful room, great customer service and all restaurants and shopping stores all in walking distance. Live music at night on the rooftop and great drinks and atmosphere. We will definitely be back, this time just a weekend staycation with some friends.

We spent the long weekend here for my wife's birthday "Staycation". The proximity to restaurants and shopping centres. The room is okay, employees are courteous and helpful. I enjoyed the pool as well. My only complain is the "free continental breakfast". Don't get your hopes up!

Well appointed hotel located convenient to commercial, shopping and dining venues. Modern and comfortable. Good meeting facilities.

Booked through Expedia and Just checked in with my wife for a weekend break celebrating our wedding anniversary and I am really disappointed. The check in experience was much lower than expected based on the hotel reviews. The trainee at the check in counter completely ignored my wife’s comments about it being our wedding anniversary, asked about the view no response, wasn’t even informed about BF area nor the time nor where the elevators are. It appears as a sink or swim situation. There are no slippers, no luggage stand to use for unpacking your luggage in the room, only one bathrobe even though we are two. We had better experience at lower stars hotels.

I took a stay cation to get away from my 24/7 job of taking care of my elderly parents and it was the best thing I’ve done for myself in years. The room was very clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable so I got caught up on my rest. I went out Friday night to the Hotel bar Monalisa’s, and had a couple of drinks and heard a great band. The location is awesome so I could shop and eat at nice restaurants. I came back home feeling recharged but I’m wanting to do it again. Every 6 months maybe.

The Sorella is a decent upscale hotel. It's location, is wonderfully placed at the corner of two intestates, and in the middle of city centre. The complementary breakfast is yogurt, fruit, and pastries (eggs and meat are extra), and I wouldn't recommend relaying on the shuttle. If you are planning to be in Houston often, I would recommend their VVIP membership, as it is the most competitive, with a nice (for me) couple of bottles of beer, every time I stay. You can get more from other hotels nearby, but this has a solid combination of walkable location, and luxurious accommodation.

All was great, especially staff. We utilized banquets/catering, room, room service, bell station, and valet parking, hotel bar, and room cleaning services. Every employee was helpful, friendly and professional. Food was excellent… even in the banquet setting. If I could change one thing… and this is not a complaint, but it was difficult to get an iced tea after 11 p. M. Without leaving the hotel. Room service and the restaurant was already closed, so that is on me for not pre-planning late at night. A restaurant was just outside the door though, so no worries on that… lol.

We stayed overnight for our anniversary and are so glad we did. We opted for the early check in so we could enjoy the pool for awhile before dinner. Felix was amazing and kept our drinks flowing. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful and we even got a surprise bottle of champagne and some chocolate covered strawberries when we got back to our room. So sweet!
The whole experience was everything we could have asked for.
The only complaint I can say I have is that the fridge in the room is completely packed with mini bar items so if you have anything that you might need to have refrigerated (we had some leftovers from dinner) you’re kind of out of luck. We had to just throw them away.
Other than that, great overall experience. We will be back!

We had an incredible stay! Kary M is wonderful, and the staff was on point. We wanted a day away, to be alone, and the hotel left us wanting for nothing. Worth every penny. The room was clean, well built, well appointed, more than comfortable… again, worth every penny. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Tamara and Al.

Very nice hotel in a really cool area. CITYCENTRE has shopping, restaurants, and watering holes within walking distance. Good place for families, as well as, adults without children.

The service is nothing special, the location is very good and comfortable. The hotel is very nice and the bar area is the main attraction, in my Opinion. The atmosphere could improve with better service and MUSIC. The waiters were not very friendly but the quality of the drinks was very good.

I have patronized this hotel on many occasions, from renting rooms, to attending special events, to simply enjoying happy hour at the Monalisa, but yesterday, my experience was more than unacceptable. I stopped to take a pic of my niece in the hotel lobby and was informed by a receptionist that photos were not allowed in the hotel (new news to me). I am not a professional photographer, but I have owned a professional camera for several years now, one in which I have used many times at the hotel. In fact, the night before, I not only watched a guy do an entire photo shoot near the pool, I took photos of my friend in the bar near the fireplace. I also took pics of her, that night, as I have done for several others, on occasion, in the lobby right in front of the reception desk. However, instead of arguing the point, my niece and left, or so I thought, in a back hallway, on the way to the parking garage, we stopped to take pics next to a plain white wall. Little did I know, the receptionist had followed us. No worries though because I thought we were out of the hotel. The receptionist walked past the 1st time, but on her way back she informed me that I couldn’t take pics there and that she had called security. Obviously, this is a rule that is enforced “at will”. It is also unwritten, so you need to be clairvoyant to know it exists. There are no signs posted anywhere that photos are not allowed in the hotel.

The bar seems like a cool place. I wanted to drink but they had a tasting event so they did not serve you unless you participated in the tasting. It's odd that they had that policy in my opinion.

My husband and I had a mini "babymoon" here to get away from the hustle and bustle of work for a weekend. Staff is so friendly and nice! Definitely coming back again just to rest and relax! Recommended!

Well the hotel was nice. Even though the hallways were incredibly hot the rooms for lovely. But do not patronize their bar I believe it's called the Mona Lisa. We went during happy hour where they included a 20% gratuity. I don't mind paying 20% if I get good service but since there was no service at all ever why was I charged 20%? They would even come and deliver drinks that have been ordered previously by other people in our party and never asked anyone who had just arrived if they needed anything. We eventually left and went someplace else to have our drinks.

I’ve stayed at this hotel before, but never had an experience like this. We checked into the first room and it was so much smaller than anticipated which is a huge disappointed considering we traveled all the way from Portugal and just knew this would be an amazing experience. Additionally, the furniture was chipped, there were water marks on the lamp shades, the rug was dirty, and on top of it all there were Cobb Webb’s in the corner (which the staff had to clear out). Its just not the luxurious feeling (especially with the price point) and we are here for the entire weekend. I hope the hotel will be able to make this a better stay/experience for us.

Very comfortable rooms and cool decor. The location is great because you can walk to so many spots. Only downside was the Continental breakfast. I wish they had a little more, such as some eggs, bacon, pancakes.

Our first time here but definitely not our last… upon arriving, thru our stay and check out the staff was always nice, friendly and very attentive… our room had a beautiful view with a comfy view. The continental breakfast was just what we needed after a great work out in hotel gym, (there’s lifetime gym as well but not free). From the convenience to go downstairs to Monalisa Bar and have date night without having to go far, we had poolside drinks and enjoyed live music.

The hotel is located in a shopping/restaurant area, great way to pass the time and plethora of eating options however it's noisy. You can hear the cars driving up in the valet. The rooms are average. Nothing special. You're paying for the outside convenience.

The hotel is very beautiful and modern with clean rooms. The service is nice but they seem to not like it when you do things for yourself, guess they don't make money that way. It was overall a good stay but I did expect a little more from a hotel that is so much per night. Not even a complimentary bottle of water in the room.

Clean facilities and rooms. Very modern and hip. Had a party at city Centre so we decided to get a room. Lots of bars within walking distance. Would go back.

Hotel Sorella is a very nice hotel with a modern feel to it. It's located in Citycentre with your choice of top notch restaurants and shopping centers. The rooms are clean and the bed sleeps very well. My only con is the stand-up shower looks a little old. For the quality and location of the hotel the prices are fair.

The hotel has free public chargers for charging your electric vehicle, plus 3 dedicated, reserved Tesla HPWC chargers that the valet will park your Tesla and charge for you.

The hotel staff is friendly. There are plenty of restaurants near by in City centre area and all within walking distance. I definitely recommend staying at this hotel and will come back for sure.

Clean and the employees are very friendly.

A hotel that costs $325/night should not have stained carpet and filth in the corners of the bathroom floors. Nor should I be able to hear the TV of the guest in the adjacent room. If this were a $99/night place, I'd give it 4 stars, but if you are gonna charge this much, the bar is raised. That said, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the free breakfast was solid, good fresh fruit, good fresh tasting pastries, cereal, etc.

A very nice hotel, full of many little annoyances. This hotel is very much upscale with a great location, but several small things are leaving a bad taste. Elevator buttons don't work, there was a long hair on my shower wall, my neighbor had low conference calls at 6 in the morning. I would say that it's a good, not great hotel that I would probably overlook next time. Edit: Lowered from a three to a two, because I was lied to about our work shuttle, and the Wi-Fi is not fast enough to watch a youtube video @ 8pm.

Attended a social event at Red Oak Ballroom at Hotel Sorella. Valet parking is available for 8 dollars. Ballroom is very nice and modern. Bathrooms are inviting and clean. Staff was attentive and professional.

I didn't stay here but I attended a party at the monalisa nightclub. The band was on time and was pretty good. The drinks were average priced but the service was good. The hotel looks really nice however.

One of my new favorite hotels. I can't wait to go back. The service, room and view were all marvelous.

We had a great stay. Hotel is beautiful. Al and Emily at the front desk were outstanding. They made our stay exceptionally memorable. We will be back!

Very nice rooms. Area is quite fun. Did have trouble getting cell service in the meeting rooms.

Wife and I had a little staycation. Great room, friendly staff. Only problem was we asked for room facing east. Got room facing west. Enjoyed bar! Good free breakfast.

Beautiful boutique hotel with Ana amazing location. The City Center Plaza has everything you can imagine in a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Fine dining, casual dining & fast food. Desert, coffee and everything in between. You also have shopping and a movie theater. The hotel itself is amazing. Excellent customer service, free Wi-Fi, free breakfast and luxurious rooms. Their penthouse seats as incredible.

Average hotel with expensive materials used during construction. I've had better experiences in less "classy" places for a lot less cash. A pain to drive to (especially at night because it's not well lit) and there are tons of people on the very small crowded streets. Good luck finding this place without having scoped it out ahead of time during daylight. Be careful on the elevators, they all bounce excessively and you can hear banging as they go up and down. Elevator doors don't close all the way leaving a 1/2 inch gap which doesn't help the safety impression. Room was quiet. Actual shower and not a tub, although there's no door on the shower and water gets everywhere. Bathroom door (pocket door) is difficult to open and close. Door to the room is very heavy and hard to open. No queen beds, only double, and it seems like the reason is two queens wouldn't fit: twice smashed feet between the two double beds because they're so close together. No nightstand or even a shelf between the beds. The beds were comfortable however, and the thermostat is easily adjustable and room changes temperature quickly. Couldn't get adjoining rooms and ended up 100ft apart even though the room directly across the hall was open and available; waited 5 minutes while trainee looked through the system helplessly before giving up. Tries to have higher-end continental breakfast by supplying fruit and croissants, but then completely leaves off any protein (no yogurt, eggs, bacon, or sausage).

Nice large clean room. Housekeeping was pleasant and efficient. TV was a bit small for the size of the room, but not a big deal. Morning breakfast was fruit, cereal, and pastries. All in all a good time and a good experience.

Great location where you can actually walk to plenty of great restaurants and shops in a village type street setting. Not usual for Houston but very welcome. Rooms themselves are big a comfortable. Decent roof top pool as well. Also have some bicycles you can take for a free spin and with the trail park nearby was fun to go for a bit of a ride. Check-in was a little slow, and $30 early check-in when only an hour early is a bit of an ask. If the room is ready, then why not just offer it. Minor details. Great place to stay when out this way.

UPDATE: I updated my review as the service manager stuck with my complaint and found the earrings between the night stand and mattress. I believe there is work to be done to improve their service, but am satisfied that I can put to rest the idea that someone might have kept the earrings for themselves. Thank you Hotel Sorella. Nice Area/Bad Customer Service My wife and I had a Friday night getaway at Hotel Sorella, and we enjoyed our stay. Shortly after leaving that morning my wife realized that she left her Kendra Scott stud earrings on the night stand. We called less than 20 minutes after an 8:30 am departure to report the earrings as left behind. We shared exactly where they would find them, down to the specific night stand. We were told the house keeping department would look into it and give us a call back. We expected no issues since house keeping probably did not even have time to clean our room given the early departure. That was Saturday morning. By Monday evening, I had not heard from the hotel, so I called to follow up. No one had a record of our message, and a formal complaint was filed. True to their word, they called back Tuesday evening to follow up and report nothing was found. Someone got a nice pair of ear rings, Hotel Sorella got a black eye, and I got a reason to recommend you not stay here.

The hotel is cool with its modern decor and the room is super comfy. The hotel bars are pretty posh and have decent single malt scotch selections. The service is excellent from the complimentary valet to the front desk to the bartenders. Incidentally, our stay was due to an event hosted in the hotel. Their meeting rooms/reception areas are well appointed, but the food was mediocre at best at the event. As far as comfort, the biggest recommendation I have is stay in an upper level room if you want to sleep prior to 2 am. You can clearly hear all the bars and goings on on level 4. Otherwise, super comfy beds and pillows and I slept well. The bathroom is fantastic with the large walk in shower. I would stay here again, and give their other location hotels a try.

Citycentre is a great location to stay. Hotel rooms are big and comfortable. Food at the Radio Milano is excellent. Beware the mini bar, as it's charged by pressure plate.

Great stay as always. Hotel even brought milk and cookies for my boys. Needless to say they go above and beyond in service. We will be back.

What a disappointment. We usually choose to go to the Omni just because of their amazing service and beautiful pool area where we are always relaxed when it's time to come home, but we wanted to try something different to see if it could be the same or possibly better. First of all right when I checked in they charged my credit card twice of $612.00 which was a huge pain to get that credited back to my account because they state it was not their mistake:/ ok I guess it was the banks mistake then? Lol. Second, I was not impressed about the pool and their rules. The pool seemed as if it was for the Monalisa guests more than the hotel guests. If you decide to go to their pool do not take drinks from the room because they will make you throw them out and you have to be out of the pool by 8 which bites because that's when the pretty lights start to come on inside the pool. The waitresses do not make you feel comfortable nor do they ask to let you see a menu unless you were guests from Monalisa other then that you have to really get their attention to bring you a menu. Basically, the hotel should get a damn pool specifically for the hotel guests with a better view besides the view of children kicking a ball around. Also, they should have something for the hotel guests to be able to make reservations at one of the restaurants around because it was not cool coming out of your room and trying to go have dinner and have to wait hours for a table.

Realised there for a graduation and one of the bar tenders was a bit rude with my sister when she asked him for a wine. He suggested that he will wait to make the toast with the champagne.

I stayed at the Hotel Sorella before and every time it's been a wonderful experience the hotel staff is so gracious. I've never had a problem with my room or with any of the amenities there at the hotel everything is so well taken care of. I've recommended this hotel to various friends and each and every time my wife and I go for just a staycation every time we checked in we let them know it's just a little getaway spot and they do everything they can to try to make the experience extra special.

We visited the Hotel Sorella for a retirement party and also stayed the night. The party was in the penthouse suite. The decor, space and cleanliness was top notch. The food catered by the hotel was also fabulous and the hotel staff checking on us were professional and helpful. Our room that we stayed in that night was also great. We stayed on the 8th floor and our room overlooked the city centre plaza. Although there were a lot of people, the room was quiet so we were able to enjoy the view without the noise. Breakfast the following morning was a nice surprise and included in our stay. We had the buffet of fresh fruit, pastries, juice and great coffee. We will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone.

The service and location was excellent. Not a fan of the pressure sensitive items for purchase out on the counter and in the minibar… I don't feel like things should be advertised to you in a room that costs several hundred a night. Aside from some late night noise issues, the experience was very pleasant.

Beautiful boutique hotel in Houston City Center. Pool and terrace grounds, service and accommodations make this stay above board. We will be back again for business and vacation.

Easy to access off the Sam Houston tollway, very friendly and accommodating staff. The food and rooms were excellent and if you want other eating options there are many to chose from in the City Centre right outside the hotel.

Nice 4 star hotel in the middle of City Center. Tiny pool on the second floor. I gave it an extra star for the architecture.

Absolutely beautiful hotel in the heart of City Centre. The rooms are all luxuriously decorated and the suite is fabulous! Full kitchen and floor to ceiling windows. It's the perfect place for a weekend getaway or family staycation. The hotel bar Monnalisa had live music and a great rooftop bar! I loved my stay here.

My husband booked room at Hotel Sorella, and I totally loved it! This hotel has a groovey feel to it. Loved the fact that there is a wine bar right next to the hotel, cool restaurants to go to and shops you could shop at. I recommend this place to people that are traveling to Houston, Texas.

We had a large part of our wedding party stay at Hotel Sorella. They were extremely efficient from beginning to end! They blocked rooms for us, made sure our guests were comfortable, had welcome bags placed in the rooms, assisted us with transportation needs and the breakfast served each morning was delicious! ALL our guests had nothing but praise for their accommodations. I would strongly suggest this hotel to anyone needing a wonderful place to stay in the City Centre area! We could not have been more pleased with our choice.

Love this hotel. Location is really convenient with anything you might need just right there. The rooms are cool too and the service is very nice. The pool is really awesome! Perfect on a hot Houston summer day.

The hotel is a great place to take a staycation! It is located in a great area to eat and shop. It's like a little trendy village! The Sorella is beautiful and fun. Very luxurious and modern. Staff was great. Room service was fast and food is great. I will go back many times.
