Was told the shuttle driver would outside to get me in 20 min. So, I went out to meet them at exactly that time. Shuttle driver decided to come 10 min. Early and instead of waiting for me, they just left to go pick up someone else and now I've been waiting an hour. I've seen the other parking company shuttles drive by at least 20 times. Save yourself the trouble and go with a more reliable company for airport parking. The actual parking lot in NOT secure as they claim.

Ok sort of place but could do with a revamp. Only about 3 miles from airport which is great. No fridges in room which was disappointing.

Outstanding service. The property is well kept and location is perfect. Free parking means there is a bit of a cluster in the lot but you can park in front of long term cars (look for yellow passed on rear view mirror) and that solves the issue. Breakfast was good in the morning and the environment light headed. I can't stress enough how great the staff was at this location, it made all the difference.

Not sure about the hotel but the shuttle service to airport and back is worst. It’s still better but people like Marcie — customer associate at front desk is worst person — we waited for like 2 hours at airport with my 9 month kid. She kept on telling us to go to various gates every time we called. And top she showed attitude. She seems total arrogant and most disrespectful person I come across. Not sure why she works there and make the name of hotel bad. Upon asking she goes I don’t care. Worst lady but thI service or hotel parking is great and nice.

The staff were exceptional.! From the shuttle drivers to the front desk. Close to airport, complimentary shuttle, breakfast included — what more could one want for an overnight stay. Would seek out this hotel again should I overnight in Houston another time. Thanks guys fo taking such good care of me.

Parked at the hotel and took the shuttle to the airport. The cost was $3.99 daily to park and the shuttle to /from the Bush Airport was FREE. I didn't have to be a guest at the hotel. When we returned to Texas, we called the hotel (while in baggage claim) and the shuttle arrived in about 15/20 minutes as promised. One passenger was on board when we got in the shuttle van and he was dropped at another spot. We then proceeded to another location where we picked us another passenger and we were all on our way to the hotel. It was no fuss, no hassle and no drama. It was so convenient having our vehicle close to the airport when we arrived back in town. We didn't have to bother anybody for a ride. We will be using Red Roof Inn parking from now on. Yay!

Had a problem over at Ramada, those ppl don’t know what there doing! Came over to Red roof & I like it, clean room & comfy. The girl at the front desk tonight was super friendly & very attentive to our needs. Thank you! Can’t wait for the waffles in the am!

Not so good the service, only the airport shuttle is good, I would never come back from being on my own.

First time staying at a Red Roof Inn and surely my last. The rooms are okay but the air conditioning unit was terrible. We had it set to 65 degrees all night and we were still sweating throughout the night. Parking is extremely packed. Staff isn't the most welcoming. The walls are paper thin, you could hear everything from the hallways and from outside. If you are having a short stay you may consider it but be aware that there are much better options nearby.

Excellent hotel and very good attention, excellent for short stay on connecting flights as long stay, something away from the tourist places but for business stay very close to the airport and very economical, with surroundings with 24 hour surveillance, and Staff attentive to the service, very clean rooms.

Great spot to drop in and catch a few hours of sleep between flights. Free airport shuttle was great, nice lobby, good A. C. And polite folks all around. Room was clean and reasonably priced.

I agree mostly with other reviews accept the cleanliness part. Room smells like someone's house. Trash was left for me. I could easily find remnants of skin and hair in the sheets. I would've gone somewhere else if I had the option.

Don't park your car here. I had to call 3 times to be picked up from the airport and the driver still forgot about me. I waited for about an hour. The driver and front desk receptionist did not appear apologetic and were rude nor did they offer anything for my long wait. Pay a little more and park at a reputable parking company.

Never ever in my life! Bad customer service, air conditioner broken (making noise like a train) (we called and they didn’t help to fix it), poor cleanest in the room, room in very bad shape, the Wifi doesn’t work properly always it’s down. Overall do not waste you money staying here. Avoid having a bad time in this horrible place. It’s very disappointing! : (I don’t know how this place could be called an hotel. Awful!

The hotel fulfill the needs of a traveller passing by. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. The internet did not work well on my phone, but it did on my wife's. There are some restaurants just a few meters away. The Chinese restaurant is quite good and accepts airline vouchers. The shuttle took a very long time to pick us up at the airport and when it came it was super full because many of us where waiting for it. This is something to improve. Otherwise a great place.

I rent a room for 6 days/5 nights but there is no parking for me because of Park N Fly. I am a paying customer but am told I can park on the grass or find a spot on the street! Absolutely not! This should be told to customers while booking that there may not be parking available. I am extremely upset by this. I would not have booked if I knew I could not park my car. I am from Georgia and this is ridiculous. Very poor. Plus side: The lady at the front desk was very nice!

I have nothing bad to say about Red Roof inn as a chain. However, this location was a let down. There were black stains on the bedding and shower curtain. Some kind of oil stains on the comforter? And the TV remote didn't work. Wonderful price and located close to the airport! But would not stay here again.

This place is no-frills and basic, but exactly what I needed. The bed was comfortable, the shower was acceptable, the air conditioning worked. I'd agree that the soundproofing needs some work (constant sounds from both idiots in the hallway and planes overhead), but at $58 a night, what can you expect? And the shuttle service to IAH was so helpful and remarkably on-time.

Amazing place! Everyone was super friendly, the room was very comfortable and there is a great number of services available to the guests. Guest do-it-yourself laundry, free continental breakfast, free juice and coffee, wake up call in the morning, shuttle to and from the airport and even a gym. I would definitely recommend anyone who is visiting to stay at the Red Roof Inn.

Nice hotel but very noisy with aircraft sounds. Could do with more insulation on windows. Great location for airport. Would have nice for them to let us know there is a free hotel airport shuttle available. All you need to do is call from terminal C from airport.

Gorgeous, recently remodeled room. Extremely clean. Bed nice. Pillows of variable sizes, which was really great, no neck pain. Front desk friendly. Very quiet.

Not what I expected, the bed was worn and the curtains were torn. The spread on the bed looked like it was bought from a garage sale. I couldn't sleep due to the workers talking loudly. The vacuum was very loud and it seem be right in front of my door. But how long does it take to vacuum a carpet. Well I'll tell you, it took approximately 3 hours of noise. I decided to leave for lunch and when I returned they were still vacuuming the floor. First and last time going to this place. People pay to sleep and get rest. Never again. I would give it zero stars. The pictures online or deceiving.

I was awaken by the front desk clerk and asked to move my vehicle at 12 midnight for someone else to park in my space because the hotel overbooked with people who did not pay Regular Rate as I did. They have more than one vehicle so others are inconvenienced. I am Definitely reporting them to Corporate in the morning.

Lady at checkin was friendly and helpful. Restaurant close by. Room was clean but bed looked like it may not have had the sheets cleaned, just remade the bed. And the lady at 5am was TOTALLY disinterested in ANYTHING I needed. The ice maker wasn't working and her response was, "it does that". Shuttle guy was prompt and courteous.

'I just needed to rest' That's what I told the Lady at the front desk, her name is Monica. Monica made sure I had the microwave, fridge and TV. Thank you Monica! They have free shuttle to and from the airport which was a big plus. The Inn was close to the airport which was another plus. Yes you can hear the airplanes taking off, but yes your near the airport! And for the price and comfy bed, continental breakfast in the mornings, the airport noise did not bother me, cause I slept. I slept so much, the TV was watching me! Another great thing about this place is, right behind the Inn is a strip mall with places to eat. Monica I truly appreciate your hard work, diligence and kindness to make my stay relaxing and enjoyable. I am looking forward to staying at this inn again. By the way, I hope you take a good vacation, cause your always there at the front desk. Workers like you are priceless.

We stayed here one night in order to catch an early flight the next morning. The hotel was pretty run down. Threadbare bedding. Lights that didn't work. The thermostat didn't seem to work well either because in the middle of August, we had to turn on the heater to try to warm up the ice-cold room. The worst part was the water. I know it was Houston, but the water from the tap tasted like poisoned dirt. And there are no real convenient food options, but that isn't the fault of the hotel.

Sent here by the airline due to a missed connection. The room is economical and minimalist. Ample for an evening's stay. The staff, however, is excellent and go out of their way to make guests comfortable. There is a free continental breakfast spread in the morning and convenience store type foods available for sale on the lobby.

There roaches in all the rooms. It has been said that there's bed bugs and fleas in rooms. There is never any parking for the guest. That have the same thing over and over for so call breakfast. The hotel needs a full remodeling. THE RED ROOF INN ON JFK BLVD near bush intercontinental airport is not a good place to stay. The appliance half way work. Room rates go from $58 dollars and go up from there. Just NOT a good place to stay.

I stayed at this hotel for a whole week the service was great, the staff people in the front desk were very nive and oitgoing and energetic, the cleaning was also great they woud clean my room everyday. Just one thing that left me thinking, the lady that would clean my room told me the hotel didnt allow her to put new sheets on the bed they only clean the sheets every other day not everyday that is nasty she still put new sheets which was nice of her. The reason I dont put 5stars on this hotel is because during my visit the pool was close for the whole week because it needed cleaning and the gym is not a gym none of the machines work which was the treadmill and another one they dont work so other than that I liked my stay it was 67dollars a night and NO charge for my puppy or any other dog and in other hotels I cheked their was a daily fee for my dog which I didnt like.

We stayed here for the night due to immigration making us miss our flight. Cheap and a great place to stay! Our bedroom was nice and clean and the beds were amazingly comfortable. The bathroom was very clean also. We did not use the pool as we were only here for a night. The shuttle bus was very convienent for us to and from the airport. We also had breakfast for free here and there was an OK selection. I wish it had some fruit but I got orange juice. I would definaltey stay again hopefully just under better circumstances.

Very good price and just 3, 4 minutes from the airport. Ideal for rest and fly the next day. They include shuttle service.

Below average for me,. When we arrived the elevator was down for painting which I can understand, but there is only one. Just seems like an awful time to paint during busy hours. The room itself could have used some TLC, the internet connection was hit or miss. Overall for the price and short distance I give a 3. Would not reccommend for more than just a one night stay.

It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. First of all they put me in a room that would not stop smelling of used gym clothes, they did not respect my request in the original booking notes at all and place me where there was no Wi-Fi signal and there was no fridge in my room or as most of the other rooms had one. I had to ask for fridge repeatedly and finally got one on day 3 of my 4 day trip.

Had to stay for a few hours because of a missed flight. Felt reasonable considering the price.

A cheap place to stay in a pinch. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds are comfy. For meals there is a good restaurant across the street at the Sheraton or next door at the Doubletree. The breakfast is good if you're into carb loading. Nothing but bread, muffins, sweet rolls, waffles, and cereal. No hot items in the breakfast. Finally, the internet sux! It's next to useless. The bandwidth is sufficient only when the hotel is sparsely popated. Otherwise, forget it.

Worst ever hotel experience. Public laundry room is in the middle of guest rooms. If you wanna stay awake all night listening to earthquaking noises, this is the right hotel for you. Two out of four pillows don't even have pillow cover, very dusty room (I had to keep sneezing), broken desk lamp, unkind staffs. I should have stayed in the car.

Booked specifically for airport shuttle, flight arrived late at 11:45pm, called the hotel front desk numerous times with no answer, sat on the curb watching all of the other hotel shuttles come and go, finally called again and pressed the number for sales, spoke to a very rude associate at the hotel that told us the shuttle stops running at midnight, I informed her we had been trying to call and waiting on the curb since 11:45, she said it was now 12:15 and the van was done. I asked if the hotel would pay for the cab ride, she said no, I asked if they would split the cab, again no, so we paid for a cab. I explained the situation to the front desk associate, (I believe she was the one I finally spoke to on the phone as well) and she said it says the van stops at midnight on the website. (It does not) No apologies, no sympathy, just awful. Room was small, sheets were dirty, there was a large gap between the bottom of the door and the floor resulting in ALL sounds from the hall making their way to our eardrums. The free breakfast in the morning was really bad, but the coffee was drinkable.

Nice to stay 1 night, the bad thing is that they are not very friendly or attentive : (

The red roof inn in Houston tx is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Its nice quiet and their pet friendly policy is wonderful.

We were stuck in Houston for the night due to a flight delay, so United Airlines gave us a voucher for this hotel. The shuttle from the airport was very dirty and grimy, which was our first bad indication. We got the the hotel, and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We got a non-smoking room on the second floor. We had to walk through a cloud of smoke on the second floor just to get to our room — definitely not non-smoking. The bathroom was dirty and full of soap scum. My son pulled back the bed covers to go to sleep, and there were dark, curly hairs on our sheets. They obviously weren't washed between uses. Needless to say, we checked out and went to the Sheraton next door, which was much cleaner and better. I do not recommend this hotel — the Sheraton was worth the extra money.

The room was great. Everything was great but the Wi-Fi is a little unreliable. I had to reconnect a couple of times.

This hotel was gross. We had booked 2 rooms and wanted them to be (if possible) conjoining. Our party is large, there are 7 total. We walked into our room and the smell was overbearing. It reeked of a moldy wet dog. We had to open the window because it was so overwhelming. We then went to the front desk to get either a different room or our money back (we had been at red roof for a total of about 10 minutes at that point). The lady at the front desk was very rude after we informed her of the odor. She went to the room and sprayed it with an aerosol scent can. Thinking that would fix the problem. I insisted that she either give us our money back or move us to another room. After she went and spoke with her manager they ended up moving us to another room, after she had just told us that they were out of rooms. The second room is not as smelly. I pulled back the sheets and the beds are full of stains and reek. I am very disappointed in this hotel. I highly recommend you stay far away from this hotel. Pay the extra money for something decent or sleep in you car.

I was an airport parking customer. I called when I landed and was told to wait at terminal A west exit 15-20 minutes. The wait turned out to be 2 hours. Multiple calls in between to find out why no shuttle had arrived after 30, 60, and 90 minutes were ignored. I gave up calling and the shuttle finally came after the 2 hour mark.

I'd give 0 stars if it was possible. What a dump. Nasty carpet, fitness center closed, there are 4 of us in a room and we asked for 4 wash cloths and they said we are only allowed 2. For $100 a night go somewhere else. No fridge, no closet to put suitcases I and room is tiny so you'll be stepping over your luggage. Smells musky and moldy. My daughter broke out in a rash probably from bed bugs.

Rude shuttle driver who refused to pick up guests who had a voucher. Husband got horrible bite which required he contact his doctor. Managers are never there and won't return phone calls.

Got put in here overnight by United due to a delay, had an awesome time with two king size beds to myself.

People can be so picky and unappreciative. My stay was great! Obviously not everything was perfect, like the water pressure in the shower was low, Internet is slow, and the one shuttle guy who picked me up was a grumpybutt and very rude. Buy hey, low water pressure means conserving water, slow Internet means more time with family, and grumpy people just exist and you just learn to deal with them. On the plus side, room was super clean and very presentable. Better than what I expected based on the reviews. Also, Elizabeth, the shuttle driver who took me back to the airport was super sweet and nice. Very personable and and made a lasting impression as I was leaving. People need to get off their high horse and to expect to get what they paid for. Stop holding such high expectations for smaller places like these. I got more for what I paid for and was happy with my stay.

Absolutely the worst shuttle service ever. I arrived slightly after 12 and the operator simply told me there is no shuttle running after 12. I asked her what I was supposed to do, she said with a happy sounding voice, "oh just take a cab".

This place ripped me of for parking. Advertised $4. Charged $5 for 'airport parking fees' and charged an extra night by accident and refused to provide a refund. This place is a scam.

Place is OK. For the price though not bad. Wifi is slow and the breakfast is pretty thin on items.

This is a shuttle review. Red roof inn shuttle was a horrible experience. We arrived at 5:01 am and there was no shuttle they told us we were late and it was gone. If it did leave until 5 then we would have a least seen it leaving. We had a 5 am reservation the fact that they "couldn't wait 1 minute" is total crap. This almost cost us our flight. By the time we got a shuttle and to our gate we had almost missed the flight. We called them when we got back and after 20 minutes we called again they said it would be there in 4 minutes. After 10 minutes we called yet again and they said he would be there soon. By the time the shuttle finally arrived we had been waiting 40 minutes. I I will NEVER use this shuttle again. If I could have gotten my money back from them I would. I should have read the reviews on various sites. This seems to be a regular issue for the red roof inn. The hotel where our car was only took 4 minutes to get to so there is just no excuse for taking 40 minutes.

This is a good hotel to stay in. The carpet in the hallway is a bit worn down, but acceptable given the price. Adequate breakfast in the morning. Mostly cereal, bread, and pastries. The internet access works well in the middle of the day, but slows down considerably during the evening. Overall, good value for the money. Update: Web access is nearly useless. Yes, they offer free internet access. But, when the bandwidth is terrible. Can't get anything done via their free web. Unsatisfactory.
