Good rooms but there is very limited choices for breakfast. Waffles are the only hot option and then there is toast and bagels.

I wasn't expecting this suite to be that great. It seems pretty average, but the free breakfast won me over. The rooms are nice are nice too, but it helps that it is located around restaurants such as chipotle, which is my favorite!

We had a smashing good time. Everyone was in the pool (all adults). We played Marco Polo, ate at Chipotle, Taco Bell, and Sonic. OMG what a beautiful, wonderful, and awesome stay.

Already did a lengthy review on Google. Just look it up. Definitely would NOT stay at this location again.

I've never left any bad reviews but I just want to warn others: The room we got was dirty, not the type of dirty you can overlook because as soon as I walked in you could see the sink was not clean and had cigarette ashes. From previous guests presumably, but our room was supposed to be cigarette free since we had a 2 yr old child. Also next to the nightstand on the floor there was beer bottle cap. It was definitely dirty, very unfortunate. Just a heads up, I'm not sure if it was just our room but the bathroom light would also turn on the extractor fan and our room made a loud noise for some reason and that would discomfort my autistic 2 yr old. Try keeping an autistic child at ease when loud noises can't be avoided because the light and fan are 2 in 1. So we had to avoid the ridiculously loud noise it made by not turning the restroom light on at all. On a positive note, the breakfast the next morning slightly made up for it.

The room was horrible, nothing you can see from the window. The smells like old hospital. Also the carpet were dirty. Foot step sound all night long and I could not sleep. I do not recommend this hotel.

Stayed 4 days. My group (Robotics Team) with 8-10 rooms will never book a La Quinta again. I reserved my 10 rooms way in advanced. Was told by others that they lose reservations and give rooms away. Confirmed 3/27 and reduced to 8 rooms. Then called again 4/9 and rooms were no where in the system to be found. Had to rebook our 8 rooms. When checking in asked if could open breakfast 30 min early, lady said shouldn’t be a problem but had to confirm with management. (Understandable). That afternoon I came to confirm again, new woman said shouldn’t be an issue, called management to confirm previous confirmation, said I would have to come back to tell Christian when he comes in at 10. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? You can’t leave a note! Overhearing the phone conversation, I piece together that Christian is “not the ideal employee”. I talk to Christian, when he comes in. Said he could not do that. They have never opened breakfast early for someone. I told him management had already confirmed. He said he would have to call management and would get back to me. He calls and says he can set breakfast out, but if something runs out he can’t restock it so we get what is out there. I say that is fine. Breakfast was fine. Just simple continental breakfast. I remind Christian the next day for early breakfast. You can tell by his body language and attitude that he feels he shouldn’t have to do it.

Decent hotel but they do allow pets and there were quite a few. Our room seemed like a pet had been in it a while. The hotel allowed them in the breakfast area and I saw guests feeding their pets some of the breakfast food. The pets were not service animals. Our room was not serviced although we left at 10am and didn't return until 8pm.

This hotels accommodations were exactly in line with a star rating. Everything was good nothing exceptional. Standard free continental breakfast. Only issue I had was the alarm clock didn't work but the Wake Up Call sure did.

Not horrible but not great either. The look of the carpet grossed us out. The staff was nice. The breakfast was simple. It was kind of hard to find. This hotel was fine for the purpose of our trip.

The truth was horrible. There were fleas in the room and that suit me I remember at home were their bites. There was on the part of the receipt of any compensation, in general, very neglected hotel. I would never stay here again.

In Bariloche in Argentina is a good hotel.

I am a La Quinta Return member and on the average we've never had a Bad review, that said this place was extremely dusty, dog morsels of dog food on the floor, dirty mirrors, and just a depressing place. We own a cleaning business and by our standards this place would should have never been readied for rental. Front desk staff no available to address our concerns. Need to train the maid service section on proper cleaning.

I wanted to comment that isn't worth a mother. You get very bad treatment as well and aúnas companions we ran … the reception we vitriol for no reason … according to dise ke were doing scandal when neither sikiera was well … in any case if it had been we would have warned you … not corrernos of a … as I escoji for more nice and it was worse … is that just made by macho… as we were me and my girlfriend… and Pos as aki in the united States has already antler have accepted gay marriage so I thought I respected that … the only echo because I gave him a kiss, ami girlfriend while still in the truck… it was ai when the receptionist made a fuss and gave us only 5 minutes to make our stuff eh go… I feel that the room was my mother-in-law already asleep. He is a person… and in the morning they threw us out of the hotel… I thought a lot in doing this, since everything I leave in the hands Of God … but I don't want someone the same thing happens that ami … only by their sexual preferences.

The rooms were ok the breakfast was a disaster, all evil served the eggs were boiled not there is any kind of meat, put it on like 3 muffins nothing more.

Very nice staff and clean hotel. I would recommend to stay here. Even have a security officer at night to ensure your safety.

The price for 1 night was good. But I have a family of 5 and the 2 beds shown in the pictures were a lot larger and in reality they were small. Almost a twin. The drawers for the dressers refuse to stay closed. Let’s just say I will not be staying at La Quinta at all again… breakfast was actually okay. No sausage or bacon. Just simple items but still gave me a free meal. But again I will not be staying here again.

The rooms are spacious and clean the customer service was somewhat shotty but the amenities were excellent. I especially liked the breakfast.

Super friendly staff and it's a pretty good location with lots of restaurants nearby plus other types of shopping. Hwy 290 always seems to have construction which sucks but you can get around most of it. The rooms were clean and have good accommodations.

This is my first time visiting this hotel. It is a beautiful hotel. The clerk at the front desk was wonderful. A bus load of high school students arrived a couple of minutes after I did. She was patient and helpful to everyone. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Let me start this review by stating that I am a La Quinta Returns member and have used the free points I've accumulated to take a couple of nice vacations. This means that I've stayed at countless La Quintas, many, many times and have a pretty good handle on what makes a good experience versus a bad experience. I've stayed here several times on business over the past few years, and could tell it was going downhill, but decided to give this location one more try as it was close to my first appointment the following day. Big mistake! I woke up to a stinging sensation and an angry red knot on my left temple. I had a busy day and told myself that it would probably get better as the hours went by. Nope! Fast forward a couple of days and now the entire left side of my face is swollen. Off to the emergency room for a round of antibiotics. After I checked out one of the other guests walked into the lobby, distraught. His work truck had just been broken into and all of the tools were stolen. Last but not least, the entire property has gotten even dingier since the last time I stayed there, earlier this year. Despite all of my good experiences with other La Quintas in the past, this most recent stay is enough to make me want to give my loyalty to a different chain of hotels. Adios, La Quinta!

Between the construction and the weird way the hotel is sited, it took forever to get into the place. Signage is your friend, La Quinta. On the upside, it was clean and quiet. The staff were fun.

Great Hotel, nice and clean. Great Staff. Must stay here if your looking for a wonderful hotel with access to a lot of different business from grocery stores to great fast food establishments. It is across from one of the best Starbucks in Houston, the employee's are wonderful and the manager who's name is Ariel is probably the best manager to run a Stsrbucks.

Room was nice. Would ha've enjoyed bigger beds in a double room, especially for couples and regular sized pillows instead of cushion like size pillows.

Love it the staff is great NEVER HAVE A ISSUE.

Horrible attitude from clerk named GREG Should be terminated immediately. Had reservation and charge already made on my card. Then told they were overbooked and I would have to wait til tomorrow to TRY to straighten it out. Also made threatening comments. Had I not been with my wife and 1 year old things would have likely ended much different. Horrible attitude. Horrible management.

Hotel seekers BEWARE! Holes in curtains, chair in room doesn't go up. Asked for a king two room suite and the front desk said they don't have suites at this hotel. Told the lady that the name of the hotel is Laquinta inn & Suites. She said no they don't have suites in that hotel. Her knowledge of the hotel was ridiculous. I went to the pool area for a swim and read the pool rules posted. There were multipule cases, yes cases, of beer and empty glass bottles in the pool area. The sign said no smoking and no glass in the pool area. Cigarette butts, and empty packs everywhere. Pool water was a dirty green color. 2-3 bullet holes on the side of the building seen from the pool area. Bedroom door had some type of water damage. Shower curtain rod was broken. Carpet in room is really dirty.

I stayed here with my family for two nights. We got room 160 and it was great. Two beds, tv, microwave and fridge. Bathroom was clean and with hot water all the day. No bad smells, no insects, simply it was perfect. My wife was amazed because of the room. We where near the pool, but I can say the room is not noisy at anytime. Breakfast was good, as in all La quinta inns we have visited. There's a big parking lot around the hotel and by night there is a guard that is watching and walking around the property. Restaurants like Luby's are very near from here and you are about 20 min distance from downtown on low traffic days.

Close to almost everywhere we went to, has many stores and food places around! Parking is safe and they have a guard at night, staff are very nice and all are smiley. Love the internet and how easy it is to plug your Xbox or any Wi-Fi capable devices. The pool was shut down couple of times and that sucked but it's OK, also the gravel in side the pool is very sharp and does cut your feet, breakfast is fine but only protein they have are boiled eggs. Coffee all day and love their infused water that they keep all day too. Will come back again to this hotel.

Another wonderful stay. Clean. Great breakfast. Wonderful staff. My only complaint is I reserved a room to sleep6 and got a room with only 2 full sized beds. The staff helped us work it out though.

It was a bad experience, as soon as you enter to the room had a nasty color to moisture, and the tub was dirty, the other day I found a bed bug, the truth was a bad experience, I will not stay in that place.

A comfortable place, but the shops are a bit farther away.

It is a hotel very big and very clean.

O quarto para 4 pessoas é bom considerando o baixo preço da diária. O hotel é antigo, porém arrumadinho. Não tive problemas com alergia. O climatizador (ar condicionado e aquecedor) funciona, porem é um pouco barulhento.

This hotel is always clean, reasonably priced and welcoming. And they are Pet friendly.

4th and 3rd floors avoid if all possible, smoking rooms are only fourth floor where the ocasional cockroach runs across the walls. I wouldent recomend for extended stays.

Really good clran room. Breakfast was thefre but there were no eggs, sausage, biscuit. Mainly continentap with waffle and fruit.

Nope, nope, nope! This hotel smells of cigarettes, weed, and wet dog. The staff is very nice and luckily they let us cancel without penalty since my husband has a pet dander allergy.

I wouldn't stay here again if they paid me! Horatio at the front desk was an old man that needs to retire. He was rude and not helpful at all. Apparently they let animals stay here and I got no sleep because the dogs in the room next to me barked all day. I informed the front desk and they moved me only to be in a room with another barking dog. The breakfast was just ok. Nothing to write home about. No meats at the service bar at all. Only 1 waffle maker for about 10 folks in line which was crazy. Beds were not comfortable and the extra rollaway bed was a joke. Would recommend staying at another Laquinta besides this location, which is in the hood lol.

This is my second stay at la quintas. The rooms are good. The staff is accomodating and understanding. I was given a room which had a strong smell of cigrate smoke (even though the room was designated non smoking), however the staff was quick to move me to another non smoking room. They have continental breakfast, however its only 8:30am, so for those like me who love to sleep in till late, we are out of luck. They usually have a large amount of parking and can accommodate trailers and vans easily. The rooms I stayed in were clean. Besides this they have the standard fitness and swimming facilities.

Room stinks sheets looked as if they were not changed lipstick all over it. Beds are to small. Breakfast was just sad. People had to make there own waffles.

Rooms were clean, although we did ask for a portable bed but they told us that didn't have access to the maintence room until the following morning when the maids arrived. Really no one else has keys to the portable beds. Seems odd.

Super friendly staff — Horatio and Kristin took great care of us! The location is great and perfect for business travelers who need quick access to the Loop. This La Quinta doesn't have all the bells and whistles that some of the other newer La Quintas have but the friendly staff more than makes up for the smaller breakfast selection and outside pool area. I cannot stress enough how friendly the staff was including the ladies from housekeeping and the one who keeps the breakfast bar stock with those yummy muffins! Our room was nice, comfortable, quiet and very clean! We will stay there again!

Breakfast is good for the price. Rooms are clean and the suite is spacious. Overall a good deal for the price.

I was there with friends, the room had plenty of space and was clean and well set up, and the beds were really comfortable.

Is just an okay place. Did not have a bad experience nor good. Staff is not very friendly.

Death by Smoke — I was booked in a "non-smoking" room on a smoking floor, next to a smoking room. I nearly threw up before I was able to move to another room and even then there was a musky smell. Staff was nice enough to work with but I would never stay here again.

The room was adequate but not the cleanest. The bathroom door looked like a mechanic had the room before our stay. There was black all along the backside of the door and some blood along the mirror as well. Hair was on the bathroom floor upon our arrival and the sink drain wouldn't stay up our entire 3 day stay. I laughed when I picked up the 'your room was cleaned by Maria T', it even had a smudge of something smeared on it. Probably won't be my first choice if I'm in the area again.

Not a very good place. There was body lice on the coffee table. I will never stay here again. They were nice enough to move us to another room but, still I was not comfortable after seeing lice in my room. Grossed me out. Nice people though.

The best La Quinta that I've been until now.

For less than $100.00 a night it was at least what I expected. No issues, just a bit dated, sheets, carpet, etc. Did have a nice TV though.

Solo tiene 22 canales y todos en ingles. La de recepcion en turno de la mañana no para de cobrar a cada rato, hasta que uno pague. Como si fueramos a irnos sin pagar. Las de servicio, tocan la puerta muy temprano para limpiar, y no dejan dormir hasta tarde. Y la que recoje el servicio del desayuno, es muy mala, no termina uno de servirce y le lleva las cosas y las guarda, osea que si no madrugaste a desayunar, ya no comiste, y si llegas en los ultimos minutos, apurate porque aunque te estes sirviendo, te llevan las cosas, como si fueramos ladrones o limosneros o homeless people. En general, no hay educacion. El unico buen empleado es el MEXICANO es muy atento y educado.
. Has only 22 channels and all in english. The reception in turn of the morning not to charging each while, until one pay. As if you go to leave without pay. The service, played the door too early to clean up, and leave no sleep late. And that together the service of breakfast, is very bad, does not end one of servirce and it takes things and saves, bone that, if not madrugaste for breakfast, no longer ate, and if you get in the last minutes, get because even if you estes serving, you are the things, as if you go thieves or boxes or homeless people in general, there is no education, the only good employee is the Mexican in front desk is very attentive and educated.
