Hotel was clean and dog friendly. The owners were very nice and professional. Actually we bought a desert for a young lady behind the desk she was a gem. Very polite and helpful thanks for having us.

Not a good experience. A/C not cold — — knob broken to adjust temperature, had to have to toliet repaired to get it to flush, towels hard, sheet had spot and to make the stay very uncomfortable, I found a bug on my pillow when getting ready for bed. When checking out, I waited about 5 minutes for someone to come to the desk (after ringing the buzzer). I wanted to tell them about my experience, I finally left the keys after no one came to the desk.

My mom always said if you don't have anything nice to say then be quiet. So I'll say this. The rate was nice.

Awful motel. Outside looks nice, inside is horrible! Smelly, dirty and just awful. Would NOT recommend.

Walked in the place smelled of old wet dirty clothes with the hint of Pot smell.

Not what it appears to be in the advertisement! Very "trashy". There was actually dried snot or a lugi on the wall. How disgusting is that! Among other things in the room, the carpet smelled like feet, nasty feet at that! Room was unsafe, there was no latch on the door (it had been busted off) and there was no screens or bars on the windows. We were on the 3rd floor and the windows opened all the way. Luckily I didn't have children, because it's definitely not safe for any child to stay in a room on the 2nd and 3rd floor of this hotel. Stay away! Next time I will put out the extra few dollars to stay somewhere else. And I thought expedia advertised nicer places!

Friendly, clean, a real value for the price. I like that the entrances to the rooms were on an indoor hallway.

Clean, comfortable, and probably the nicest budget room in town. Our room was up to date, and surprisingly, the room was correctly represented byphotos on their website.

The place is old. Not a big deal nonetheless I just sat on the bed the sheets have hair and dark spots. Wish we would have slept in the car seriously feeling itchy. Not worth$60.

This was the worst hotel I have EVER stayed in my life! The bed had stuff all over it, it smelled very wired, they didnt give me the right room, I walked in on someone. The free breakfast was not worst making up for. The bed felt like rocks and smell like mus. ONLY thing great about this hotel, is Cracker Barrel is right next door! DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU CAN HELP IT. I have stayed at lots of americas value's and never had it this bad, and the free Wi-Fi did not work! the door locks were broken as well!

They were very nice. They were able to get us a room upon our arrival. The beds were a bit high and hard for my Mom to get into. We found a wasp in the room which we had to handle. The morning breakfast needs some help. They are doing a remodel so hopefully that will help them out.

Overall, it hasn't been a bad stay. The water pressure in our rooms sink is wicked strong and will splatter in your face if your not careful hah! I'd recommend staying here if you need a place to crash thru travel. But I wouldn't recommend living here, as the rooms are kind of small.

They got BED BUGS and they didn’t change their sheets or pillow cases. They didn’t have the room I reserve. Also, we were suppose to have a complimentary breakfast that we never seen. The man at front desk was nice that was about it. Oh yeah, the towels in the bathroom looked used it was just that dirty look. I am very dissatisfied with this place.

I want to say that this hotel deserves a one star, but I gave it a two because in actuality it reminded me of how good I have it at home. The cockroach that came out of the vent was the size of a bat.

Horrible experience, the room smelt like rotten meat and cigarettes, the blankets smelt disgusting and are stained with dirt, the lock on the side of the building to allow access into the building is broken — anybody can walk in, unsafe to stay, the interior lock was broken in our room, there was no safe, the a/c was broken, remote control had batteries duct taped to the back of it with no cover, and they intentionally locked us out of our room. We left because of the horrible experience, and then they hit my credit card for 3 additional charges, days after. Most disgusting hell whole of a place I have ever been to. Looks nothing like the pictures. Stay at the red roof inn, down the street — same price, much bigger, cleaner, friendlier staff, and a very pleasurable experience. American Best Value Inn & Suites in Jackson TN is an embarrassment to all hotels.

If you can do not stay here. The worst customer service ever. The rooms were extremely dirty and when I checked in I found blood on my sheets. They double the rates of the rooms on the weekends and definitely not worth staying here. To make matters worse they put me in a room without a bathroom door. They also tripled charged my card and would not refund me back my charges so I had to escalate the matter to the corporate office. I will sleep in my car before staying here again.

I used to stay here on a regular basis they did not have micros or fridge. Now they under new management and are adding micros and fridge to the rooms. The new management is very good. Place is clean and a good value. I will start staying here again. Great place to stay.

Great location. Good price. My son loved the indoor pool in December. It's a dated hotel… but if are on a budget and want to break up the drive to the in-laws… it works. No complaints from me.

The room was comfortable but needed cleaning and updating. There was no Wi-Fi network and the breakfast bar had not been filled. I was very disappointed in my stay.

The room was okay but could use some updating and the bed was comfortable. There was no Wi-Fi network available and breakfast is virtually non-existent. There was a breakfast bar consisting of dry cereal with no milk, an empty waffle mix container and cheap coffee. I did not see a single employee at the check in desk or anywhere else in the hotel except for when we rang them so that we could check in. This is my second bad experience with America's Best Value Inn recently and I would not stay with them again.

Maid tried to the door without knocking, even with "do not disturb" sign up.

A little dated. With a few repairs would be extremely nice. For the price it was great.

One star because there is no way to leave a no star brought my parents here for a family funeral after driving for eleven and a half hours, I am very leary about the accommodation I went to desk for towels and they said they only give two sets… one set had to be used to clean up.

Very comfortable bed and room was neat. TV Channels were very good.

The rooms smelled and the bed covers were stained. Very outdated with mirrors on walls. Their breakfast consisted of a few powdered donuts, two dry cereals and waffles. I opted for the Waffles since they were hot but the mix was so runny it would stay in the machine when you turned them, also no butter. Just very skimpy. Will definitely not be staying there again!

You get what you pay for… Needed a room as it was late and most other hotels were sold out. Room was quite large but very outdated although cleanliness was acceptable. Looked at continental breakfast but decided to pass. Bare bones breakfast is an understatement. Hotel has so much potential if someone would invest in it.

At first I was upset that I couldn't check in early… I did get to check in one hour early. :) Room (king) is huge. Well maintained furniture. Clean sheets and comforter. Nice work space. Plenty of lights and plugs. Clean bathroom. If you want quiet, ask for an exterior room (no balcony). All interior rooms have a balcony and overlook the busy lobby/lounge or the indoor pool/ breakfast area. Great value for your money.

Stayed in 28 hotels this month. And by far this was tye best one. And the cheapest.

Newsroom floors were so sticky, beat bent jar ready poop, mold in sink and shower. Cereal and milk and expired orange juice. Not worth your money.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Do not stay here. My family and I, plus our two dogs stayed here. When we got to our room it looked as though it hadn't been cleaned. The toilet had mildew in it, which we cleaned ourselves. There were only two floor mats, one towel, one hand towel, and NO wash clothes. They only give you towels, wash clothes, etc. Every other day. We had to ask them for some and even had to go out and buy our own wash clothes because they didn't give us enough for three people. The closest door wasn't even attached to the closest, which could've hurt my mom when it fell on her. Our bed spread had a large cut in it. The washer doesn't do the spin cycle so we had to ring out our clothes just to put them in the dryer. For whatever reason the idiots that run this place put us on the third floor which happens to be the floor they decide to remove and put down more carpet. That causes a disturbance for us and our dogs. The guy that works the front office opened our door WITHOUT knocking so the carpet guys could put down carpet in our door way. I'm pretty sure that's not something you're supposed to do to your guests. You should ALWAYS knock. It's a good thing we had the door latch locked and we were in our room or our dogs would've came out of the room. These folks don't know how to run and upkeep a hotel. I noticed that the maid was smoking a cigarette while cleaning the room across from us, it was a NON-SMOKING room.

Stay at ur own risk. Operated by a family that apparently lives here on site. Rooms are dirty and funky to say the least. I have stayed in a few dives in my life but this was a first for my son. He's so on edge about the room that he doesn't even want to sleep in the bed for fear that its as dirty as the rest of the room. Mold and mildew virtually everywhere you look for it. Rates were changef after I was told this was the last room. What a joke. They do accept pets but this is truly LOW class. I guess they live on folks pulling off the highway and not checking things out before checking in. Think i'll be contacting my CC company to argue the charge. Don't stay here folks, its really gonna let you down.

We were told that the rooms at the advertised rate were all occupied. This is despite the fact that there were only maybe 4 cars in total in the parking lot. We were then told that we could be given a more expensive room at a nice rate. The room we walked into was not only tiny, but it was filthy. The sheets were torn and stained! Extremely discomforting when that is where you are sleeping! We even had wasps in our room. The fan didn't work in the bathroom as well as it not seeming too clean.

You get what you pay for. $62 for two beds at the Jacksonville TN location at the end of March 2014. This place is worn out and run on a shoe-string. The operators are well meaning, but just can't keep up with the rate of decay of the facility. The mirrored walls are a bit creepy. The bathrooms are as clean as they can be for the age that they are. If the sheets were washed, they may just be so old that the funk is permanent. The tube TV bolted to the top of the wardrobe looked ready to drop to the floor. The website indicated that they offered a continental breakfast. Watered down waffle mix, orange drink, powdered donuts and a tub of Apple Jacks may technically qualify as breakfast, but we ended up skipping the baked-good buffet, and had a quick meal elsewhere. I put a request in the notes section for a fold-out bed, but was not contacted that they couldn't accommodate the request. When we arrived and I asked the desk clerk about the bed, she said that the request was not "in the fax". She then showed me the fax and my request was in the comments section for the room reservation : ( I wasn't expecting the Waldorf Astoria, just a simple clean room. Unless the owner/operators put some resources into bringing it back from the brink, they should get out while that can and close up the place.

From day 1 the service was exceptional, very friendly, welcoming + family oriented. I enjoyed my stay greatly. Thank you so much for the exceptional service + comfortable room.
