I understood that I was trying to save a few dollars by staying at this hotel to have extra spending cash for the trip, but I never imagined it would have been this bad. First off… I don't know where the photos of the hotel were taken, but the rooms look nothing like them. The hotel was very run down for the price. The carpet was ancient and dirty. The walls had holes and seemed very unfinished. I stayed eight days and could only get one warm shower; the rest were cold. I got a suite with two beds and came to find out there was only one bed and a pull-out couch. Rooms are not insulated well, and you can hear everything inside and outside the hotel. Our room was next to the elevators so we heard everything going on in the hallways. The rooms had a kitchenette, but with the roaches in all the cabinets, we did not use any cooking utensils or eat in the room, so the purpose of having that type of room in the first place was defeated. I paid for parking, but the staff filled the parking lots daily, including one staff motorcycle that took a parking space close to the building that should have been used for handicapped parking. Only one handicapped parking space was filled with a staff car that did not have a handicap placard or plates. Guests paying 35 to 45 per day to the park should only have to fight some of their staff to park.
