Rooms were comfortable and quaint with all of the amenities I needed. I loved the feel of it, the location, and the staff!

Everything was top notch. Accommodations were fun and colorful. Very clean, attentive staff and the rooftop pool was small but swimmable and very nice. Perfect location, 2 miles walking to Diamondhead give or take an away from some of the hubbub of Waikiki. Definitely will stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Being my 15th trip to Honolulu more specific Waikiki I have stayed at a lot of different hotels. This one by far was the most Instagram appropriate. Trendy with cool color scheme. A few minute walk from beach wall and shops. The pool was really cool. Located on the roof the view is amazing. The treats snacks and drinks provided in room definitely captures the Aloha spirit. Due to covid a lot is different you have to book a time slot for pool. I appreciate this.

There was a small problem with my room. They responded immediately and issued an upgrade.
Bravo!

Chic vibe boutique hotel, modern with a mid-century flare; updated rebranded older hotel from what I guess. Very fun intimate roof top pool, courteous & accommodating staff. Would stay again, planning a stay at their other hotel (Coconut) soon.

I would NOT recommend staying @ this hotel. The rooms are noisy within the walls (water/hvac type noises all night). My balcony was also right near a public venue, so I heard concert music all night, & the shuttle was never ordered as promised to take me back to the airport in the morning. All in all, a poor night's sleep, poor customer service who gave out incorrect information, & over priced.

5/5 Stayed at the hotel last year and absolutely loved it. Josh (the front desk agent) went above and beyond and was extremely helpful. Perfect walking score, parking is first come first served, and room service was excellent. Made our first trip to Hawaii very pleasant. Mahalo!

Love the decor, really fresh and vibrant, bedrooms are medium size, not huge but plenty of room though would have preferred a bigger bed. There is a fridge and a kettle which was such a nice change for a Brit abroad as I could make a proper cup of tea. You are also provided with complimentary snacks on your arrival and bottle water every day. The staff are great, friendly and really helpful. Might not be a 5* star hotel in the luxury upmarket scenario but it gets 5***** from me.

We had a wonderful stay and a beautiful experience at the shoreline Hotel I would recommend it to anyone! they have the true Aloha spirit.

The lobby at night is cool… but who wants to hang out in the lobby? The pool was closed. Suggested their sister location, but that pool was broken and maybe big enough for 4 people. The rooms are tiny and very very noisy. I can hear everything going on in the building. Outside noise is expected. They tell you that you get a free necklace and snacks for your stay, neither happened for us. The view outside my room is seriously a joke. I would rather have a fake window with a picture of Hawaii on it. I view this as one of the biggest wastes of money I’ve ever experienced. So many missed opportunities for what was advertised. Yes, the water and coffee in the lobby is good, but once again I didn’t pay to hang out in the lobby. Upgrade your rooms, put some more art work/lights in them, maybe just close all the rooms that look out onto the eye sore of a building next to you. Or change your prices and all of this would be ok! I guess.

Great central location close to beach, food and services.

I'm loving this funky little boutique hotel! The info boasts that it was recently renovated and upgraded. Our ADA room is bright, clean and comfortable. We have a corner room, so we have two lovely views of Waikiki from the 13th floor, one being the ocean. The color scheme of this hotel is bright art-deco, with an island vibe. I just enjoyed the free shave ice happy hour in the lobby. There are other activities, like ukelele lessons, on other days. It is situated near the major shopping/restaurant district, and is an easy walk to the beach. One drawback — the rooftop pool, while lovely, is not very accessible to the disabled. My husband helped me up and down the stairs once, but I would be afraid to return alone. If we return to Hawaii in the future, we'll be checking in here again.

Chose this place because of the modern decor, loved the neon vibe, lobby and the neon touches throughout. The water, tea etc. In the lobby was a nice touch. The service was great, willing to help and very informational. Location was perfect being in the busy part of Waikiki & also opposite Ross, behind H&M etc. Loved they did their best with updating with new carpet, paint and furnishings, but the rooms and amenities were still older, we had a large A/C unit that was older and loud throughout the night, the bathroom had older units but they had updated the tiles by painting them, new shower curtains & cool towel holders to update it. It is a little misleading that the whole location and venue looks new, but has only been refurbished.

Likes: Clean rooms and bathrooms TV remotes and phone are hygienic (clean and antibacterial respectively). Lobby is very nice Staff are really nice Free shave ice, free snack in room pantry. Close to a lot of restaurants and shops Dislike Musky smell on throw pillow on the large chair.

My husband and I visited the Shoreline Hotel on our honeymoon recently. The hotel was incredible! It looked amazing after their recent renovation, and the staff were amazing. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating. I had called in advance to ask if we could have some champagne waiting in our room on arrival to celebrate the end of our honeymoon, and the manager personally made sure that we had it when we arrived to celebrate. We loved our time at the Shoreline and would definitely return on any future trips back to Hawaii. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay wonderful!

Newly renovated with a great colorful atmosphere, The Shoreline gives you a lot of bang for your buck. Mostly isolated from the noise of Waikiki nightlife and very comfortable furnishings make this place a great choice. Be sure to check out the rooftop pool for the days you don't feel like dealing with the crowds at the beach, a convenient block or two away.

So after some mishaps with the Airbnb room that I booked, we spent the night having to find a place to stay out here. We were directed here to Shoreline Hotel Waikiki. They were so accommodating and caring with our situation and got us into a room quickly. TJ, the front desk attendant, helped in every way to alleviate the situation for us. So thankful for everyone at Shoreline Hotel Waikiki for helping to make sure we have been taken care of every step of the way. Shoreline Waikīkī is the best of the best. I Definitely recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Hawaii.

This hotel definitely has personality — the decor gives it a college party/Euro hostel fun vibe. Our room was next to the elevator so it was a bit noisy, but the hotel provided us earplugs, which was a nice touch. The location is fantastic. Steps away from great shopping and food. The beach is a couple of blocks away.

Casual, relatively small hotel in a perfect location! Lobby and part of the rooms have just been renovated. On the roof there is a pool, you get Beschtowels, at the reception 24/7 drinks are available. Team was super-friendly. There is no real breakfast, but bars and snacks are offered in the mornings. Definitely a recommendation!

Incredible! We just stayed 12 nights at this hotel & the staff, the room, the service we cannot fault. If we are to suggest anything, change the water flavors every few days. You advertise a variety of flavors but in the whole 2 week's we had cucumber/lemon, got sick of it. Numerous requests for a change & it didn't happen either. Plus parking is overpriced. We will be back though. Great location! Thank you guys, Venus, Sonny, Terence & Lizzie its been a pleasure to call this home the last 2 week's

Beautiful Hotel, Lobby just re-built. Very good Location! Only the Elevator makes some Noise when you have a Room Near it.

Great location for this hotel, so close to the shopping malls International market and Royal Hawaiian centre and also to the beach. Rooms were of decent size with a king size bed. Free coffee and muffin for guests in the morning.

Smack bang in the middle of waikiki easy walk from shops and food. But not a hotel you would spend time in. Still under renovations when we arrived but the internal decor and ambience needs work.

Most staff here is friendly and courteous but one guy was incredibly rude upon check in. All I asked is whether we could park the car in the area and he barked that that depended on the kind of reservation I had made and then ran off. He left his colleague to sort out my confusion. She was very apologetic and helped us check in. We were surprised to find the elevator covered in a gross green blanket (painters? ) So we always took the stairs. Our room, 203, was nicely furnished but ask for a room on a higher floor if you're a light sleeper — there is a lot of partying noise coming up from the street.

Great spot and very friendly staff with complimentary snacks tea and coffee. Let us into our room when we got here at 7.30am. What hotel does that.

Let's be honest, you're not going to stay in the hotel the whole time. You just need a safe place to put your belongings and a location close enough to attractions. This place fits the bill. Not too expensive, with clean bedding and towels. The bathtub didn't drain fast enough so there was some pooling. There were homeless people outside occasionally but didn't really bother you. Does not have free breakfast. They have a parking lot of you plan on renting a vehicle, however, they charge $30 per day to valet even if you have a room.

Great staff, amazing location, clean and relatively large rooms! I didn't notice any issues with noise, and you are right next to H&M and Ross! Their resort fee inclues a grab and go breakfast, but it's really just prepackaged muffins (no fruit or anything). However, they stock fruit infused water, beach chairs, towels, and k-cups as part of the resort fee! So that's nice :) Wifi works well.

Nice place, helpdul and very friendly staff. Kinda disappointed when they said there is free breakfast from 7 to 9am, I came down just to find granola bars on the breakfast table. Like seriously? Great location close to food and shopping.

The hotel was what you pay for. It's not upscale, not your Sheraton. It's an OK hotel. Bathrooms were not new, so don't expect high end. The to go breakfast was granola bars and muffins, would have loved to have fruit or glute free options, but there was always coffee and fruit infused water in the lobby.

Good Auswal, right in the middle of town near Beach.

Great location, good price. Easy parking, use the valet, it's worth It! Starbucks just round the corner, and ABC across the road.

Boutique stye hotel with fantastic front desk staff (Venus), clean room & complimentary tea/coffee/juice, breakfast bars & muffins every morning, was a big bonus. Closed to all amenities ie shopping, restaurants, cafes, beach etc. Thanks for waiving the resort fees and given a room upgrade. Much appreciated and will be back.

It was very affordable, clean & cute hotel and great location. It's within walking distance to so many great shops and restaurants. Heavenly, right outside of Shoreline, was a delicious spot to eat, especially their breakfast and acai bowls. Waikiki Beach was just a few blocks away and the hotel provided chairs and towels for the beach, which was really convenient. I would absolutely recommend Shoreline and would stay here again while visiting Honolulu.

Clean, friendly and simple hotel. There isn't a lot of facilities but it is good on price. Location is just 5 minutes from Wakiki beach and it's among all the major shopping outlets. Hotel will provide you with chairs and towels to take to the beach if you wish to do so. Other than that, there is a pool on the roof with a few chairs but no umbrellas, pool is small but clean.

This hotel had a great combination of location and affordability. It was roughly a 5 minute walk to get to the beach and was very close to several shopping centers. The staff was always incredibly friendly and pleasant to deal with. The resort fee presumably covered the beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas on loan, flavored drinks / coffee / tea in the lobby, cotton candy between 3 and 4 pm, and Granola Bars / Muffins in the morning. We grabbed some of the latter for the road on early mornings when we were going out hiking and it really helped us save some $ and time! The room was sufficiently nice with relatively quiet air conditioning and a small baclony. The bathroom could probably use a little updating, but it was totally acceptable for the price. Otherwise the room was nice, but nothing that will blow you away. The pool was nothing remarkable either but who cares when you're that close to such a nice beach. If I were planning the trip again knowing what I know now, I'd definitely be up for staying here again.

We just returned from a 5 day trip to Hawaii and we stayed at the Shoreline Hotel Waikiki and we loved it! The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Our room was equipped with a keurig with 4 complimentary k cups, a large flat screen LCD tv, a fridge, a microwave, a telephone with free local calls, a hair dryer, ironing board and all of the essentials we needed! The hotel staff were very friendly. They were constantly greeting us and making conversation with us anyt…ime we bumped into them or walked through the lobby. There's also complimentary fruit, coffee and tea served in the lobby each morning. In addition, there's freshly made lemon cucumber water, and pineapple iced tea in the lobby as well. It's a nice gesture of the hotel and it's really refreshing to grab a cup of it after being in the Honolulu Sun. There's also a rooftop pool with a beautiful 360 degree view of the ocean and the Waikiki skyline. & the best part was there was no resort fee! I know many hotels typically have super slow and spotty Wi-Fi, but the Shoreline Hotel had the best, most consistent Wi-Fi I have ever had in any hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique, affordable, boutique hotel with island style!

Got a room on the 12th floor with valet. Very nice updated hotel. On par with day your double tree and such. Came with some nice useful amenities. Would definitely stay again.

Great location just off the main strip. Nice little pool on the roof too. Room has good facilities including a microwave and coffee machine.

OK hotel at a cheap price. This hotel is obviously no Hilton so if you're looking for that type of scene this is not the place to be. This hotel is good for people who will be venturing off on the island during their stay in Hawaii and just need a bed to sleep in, right down the street from the strip of Waikiki close to everything. (Matt) is the BEST employee here, not to be rude but the valet people are not great as stated below, park across the street it's cheaper. Good for the price, I wouldn't pay more than $150 a night here, happy travels!

Good location. Rooms are small, pool is small. Not an area to have drinks-always have to go out. Staff are friendly but I wouldn't come here again.

The Shoreline Hotel was the perfect hotel for our trip. It is small and personable with front desk staff who are detail oriented and very helpful. The location is ideal for access to Waikiki Trolley, walking to the Galleria and other shopping opportunities, as well as strolls along Waikiki Beach. We thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations and the view from our lanai. The rooftop pool was refreshing at the end of the day and was the perfect vantage point to view sunset. Can't wait to revisit Honolulu and stay at the Shoreline Hotel. The location made everything so easy and enjoyable.

Great hotel! Clean, great location, friendly staff. The accommodations couldn't have been better. The room was comfortable for two adults — we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. The decor was simple but appropriate for a beach city — sunny, bright and cheerful. The bathroom was sparkly clean. We were grateful for the refrigerator (a coffeemaker and microwave were also in the room) it saved us a lot of hassle and money since we didn't have to look for restaurants all the time. Speaking of food — "Heavenly" the cafe next to the hotel has delicious healthful dishes — loved the poke and garlic shrimp! Another nice touch was the complimentary coffee, cucumber water, and refreshing pineapple tea in the lobby. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. If there is a downside, it might be parking — which can be had in a lot right across the street. It was a little confusing, but parking anywhere on Waikiki is at a premium so this wasn't a bad arrangement plus the Starbuck's is right next to the lot. We stayed in a lower floor by request (vertigo) and there wasn't much of a view but we were seldom in our room during the day so this wasn't a problem, besides the beach is only a block or two away. Overall, we found the price to be very reasonable for what you get and would definitely stay there again.

The staff are absolutely amazing! They gave us lots of tips on places to visit & places to eat that I wouldn't have found myself. The location is also great & the rooms are presented beautifully. I will definitely stay here again next time I return to Oahu.
