Location! Near everything yet not up under everything. $7 uber/lyft service to most harbor excursions and a quick 5 minute walk to the ABC store for tour bus. Staff is very courteous and helpful.

Beautiful hotel and rooms. Friendly helpful staff. Pool area is great. My husband and I often get a bad night's sleep at hotels due to noise both in and outside the room, bad beds and pillows… we find this hotel to be pretty quiet and the AC in the room works great. Only hotel I've stayed in without lumpy pillows! The bathrooms are generously sized. We stayed here for a conference and were excited to rebook for our recent vacation.

It seems they are running on a small staff, it was good but not great like the Prince is usually. Simple requests from the front desk took multiple calls and things still did not arrive (small things towels, silverware, etc. ). I got locked out of my room for about 40 min. After booking a second connecting room on our second night going into our third night. They finally got it open and I was able to get access back to my belongings.

The staff was amazing and the service was 5 star. Highly recommend.

My experience at the Prince Waikiki was awesome! It was my first time being there and I loved the infinity pool, the drinks from the bar, the food and the workers. It was such a great experience and I look forward to booking at the hotel again in the near future.

If you go to the buffet, you will not get good service. When I was feeling dehydrated and weak, I asked a waitress where I can get water, and she pointed me to the bathroom downstairs and said there "may be" a water fountain and didn't even bother to get me water. I actually went all the way down two floors to find out there was no water fountain. I went back up two floors, waited for the front desk lady to help me, and she was complaining about her co-worker right in front of me for a few minutes without even caring about how unprofessional she looked or how long I was waiting. I felt very faint because of the lack of water, and I'm glad I didn't faint throughout that experience. Very unprofessional service.

I had a wonderful experience at Prince Waikiki. The concierge staff were so helpful and accommodating. They even took the time to research for us to find the best prices and called all of the locations on our behalf. My biggest compliment goes out to the room service, valet staff and the maid service. They were so so kind and polite and thoughtful. I would stay here again for that reason alone but the rooms were magnificent! The views were amazing and the beds were comfortable. Again, thanks so much for the great service, the clean rooms and attention to every detail.

Amazing views from the bedroom, pool, breakfast buffet room and even the foyer. Great location close to everything and the shuttle service that takes you to many main locations in Waikiki is super handy! The staff are very accommodating from reception, the concierge, bartenders, servers, upper management and cleaners. A special shout out to Dennis, who looked after us throughout the reservation process and went above and beyond for us. We will definitely be back to prince Waikiki when we return to Hawaii in the future! Definitely 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel is very clean and is in a prime location in Waikiki! They have a nice infinity pool. The staff is really nice and provide great service. The rooms are quite large and this is a great place to come home to after visiting all the beaches and tracking through all the hikes. Will definitely stay here again!

Very beautiful hotel! Was lucky enough to get upgraded with a view overlooking the boat harbor. The room was very nice and really comfortable. The best part was the 24 hour pool and jacuzzi! Overall it was a great experience and definitely would stay there again.

Beautiful Hotel so glad we could spend some days here for our Honeymoon! Our Balcony was right at the pool, and the room itself was exquisite. Loved the Eternity Pool and had an awesome view of the city from it at night. We were given a bottle of prosecco with our names on it saying congratulations, very Elegant and nice of the hotel to do so! Friendly and very helpful staff. Will definitely stay here again! Gorgeous hotel, right by Ala Moana. This hotel is pretty much one of the first hotels before you hit Waikiki which has some pros and cons. Being at the beginning means you fight less traffic to get to your hotel when coming from the airport, however this also means you're further away from the heart of Waikiki where most of the restaurants are located. Hotel room was beautiful! We had the ocean front room where we woke up to a beautiful view every morning. I would definitely recommend staying here if you want some nice R&R, their pool area is pretty nice too!

Had a wonderful week-long stay here. Hotel was renovated a year or two ago and rooms are spectacular — great views, comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. Service was absolutely amazing; I was greeted by name by all staff (even the housekeepers! ) and my smallest requests were taken care of swiftly. Located on the quieter end of Waikiki, it's a short walk from a number of beaches. I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat.

Prince is the most superb place to stay. The comfort is second to none. The staff and so happy and helpful. The "buzz" is exceptional. Location is perfect. Loved every minute of our week-long stay, from the amazing showers to super comfy beds to incredible views to delicious food to wonderful doormen. I cannot praise this exceptional hotel highly enough. Missing being there already. Want to come back as soon as possible. Only place to stay for my family and I. Thank You Prince for making our holiday such a memorable one.

We enjoyed our stay at Prince Waikiki. It was our Babymoon, it was so nice to be close to everything like the beach, shops, cafes, restaurants and mall. My favourite was having lunch at the Cabana by the pool. Best place in Waikiki to watch sunset. The staff are super friendly and I would recommend anyone travelling to Hawaii to stay there.

The Prince is located at the far Western end of Waikiki fronting the boat harbor. The rooms were recently renovated and upgraded. Added during the renovations is an infinity edge mini-pool extension. It's a great place to hangout and watch the sunset. On Friday nights and July 4th it's a great location to view the fireworks. If you have any special requests or problems the staff works hard to meet or exceed your expectations.

This place is spectacular, the service here is superb they made us feel like we were VIP. It's squeaky clean and hotel is gorgeous, and I loved the commode system they have warm pulsating water spraying on you after you used them that stays on as long as you want it too, kinda stimulating. I loved air freshener they used it smelled so good here all day long. I will definitely stay here again, love this place. Thanks you Prince Waikiki for making our anniversary so special and complimentary bottle of champagne was a very generous touch.

Everything was top notch starting from the valet, the personal check in desk, concierge, etc. Grounds are beautiful and perfectly maintained. Restaurants and bar was pretty good. However, with all this greatness comes big prices. I wouldn't call this place affordable. If you are comfortable with spending $1000/day for a vacation, go for it!

Amazing location. Do not have one complaint. We needed a place that was wheelchair accessible. They made us feel welcomed. Room had enough space for the wheelchair and did not feel cramped. The bathrooms were pretty nice too. The view was amazing! So worth the time and money here. Due to the raining season I did not get to enjoy the pool as much as I wanted… but still overall AMAZING!

Absolutely loved my stay here with my husband! It somehow felt quiet and private amid all of the city hustle and bustle. Amazing view of the marina, ocean, and mountains. By far the best thing was the top notch service. They were all so kind, attentive, and helpful. I went by the desk to ask for decaf coffee pods and they made it to my room before I did. The rooms were clean and tasteful. I loved opening the large slide window up to the pacific view! We splurged for the club floor with food and wine. I was expecting light snacks, but was pleasantly surprised to find they had everything, including a hot dish for breakfast and dinner. I loved the view from the private area. They were filming a news segment on our last day and the manager treated us to waygu burgers on the house! He didn’t want us to feel inconvenienced by the filming, which we enjoyed watching. It really was amazing and made our trip to this dream island really come true. We will definitely stay here again when we are back!

I won’t say it’s not a beautiful place because it is. Rooms nice and clean. Service is great. Problem I had, was what they ended up charging me. I booked online and paid online. I filled out all the info and my address and credit card info. So we get there and they take my ID and my credit card. And the lady asked do you have a ID with a local address? I said no we are from Savannah Ga. We are here on vacation. And she tells me, well you got our local pricing. So you must of tapped on the local price. There is no local button on there web site that I seen, and I gave my info online. So you can plainly see I’m not from here. I’m not a penny pincher. But I don’t like getting screwed. So if your planning a trip and the price turns up almost 70.00 per night more. If you plan to stay 7 days. That can take I big bite out of some ppl plans. I did end up staying. But I couldn’t help but think. What if someone had there money all planned out, for there whole family. Would that take out of there food money. But like I said. We had a great time and it’s a beautiful place. The view was to die for. I did feel compelled to leave this review.

We went to the Easter Buffet for Dinner. This was the fourth time we went here and as usual it was fantastic. The hotel changed caterers this year and the buffet was smaller with less choices but the quality remained high. The star of the buffet is seafood and they had everything; shrimp, scallops, Ahi, crab legs, and more. They also had a carving station with prime rib and an omelette station. There three other areas with sushi, salads and dessert. The service is fast and friendly. If your drink is getting low there are right there and when you get up to get more food they remove the used plates, replacing anything that you will still need (like crab crackers) and gold your napkin. We love this buffet and will continue to go each year.

Great location. Awesome views! Excellent service. Not one negative about the resort. We had free daily breakfast buffet which was so worth it. The shuttle service was one of the best things about staying here. The pool was sweet. The happy hour was really good! You can see the fireworks from your room or by the pool. We would totally stay here again on our next trip. Highly recommend.

Good hotel at the Waikiki beach, very friendly staff, although the hotel complex is huge. Clean and very nice rooms with excellent views. The price is good and fair. Sushi restaurant in the hotel offers good sushi. The pool is quite small, the fitness room too, but nice and clean.

Stellar hotel all around, from the grand and textured ocean design of the lobby to the thoughtful and spacious layout of the king bedroom. The bathrooms were especially enjoyable (ours had a standing shower and a bathtub plus a separated toilet with a bidet) and more spacious than any other bathroom we've seen. The pool was also layered with a main swimming area great for families and an extra infinity pool for a few moments of calm. There was so much to explore at this hotel and in the surrounding area, that we found ourselves running out of time. The staff was wonderful and friendly at every turn. We've stayed at other hotels in the area but found this one was tops.

The hotel offers a shuttle that will take you to different parts of Waikiki during the day. The gym is also open 24 hours which is a good way to work off all the delicious food you’ll be eating. View from the ocean facing room is fabulous.

I dined at the 100 Sails buffet. It was a reasonable price for the spread they provide. They have moist and delicious prime rib along with crab legs as well as delicious side dish choices such as garlic buttered corn on the cob, roasted cauliflower, sauteed mushrooms with asparagus and a few other choices. There was also dessert. The bread pudding and chocolate cake were so delicious. Fresh fruit, sushi, and soup round out your choices and iced tea is included with your meal but, a bar is there if you prefer alcoholic options.

We stayed at the Prince Waikiki for a week and absolutely loved it. The view from the rooms and pool is amazing. All employees were super friendly and helpful. The coffee shop in the lobby was great to grab a quick coffee and pastry. Located at the end of the strip but still within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and mall. Definitely would recommend and would return to this hotel!

I really like this place. This is my third visit to Honolulu. The view was nice, open the window when you wake up, it will refresh and brighten your whole day! The location is not that good, but walking is always an enjoyment in Waikiki. Walk to shopping area takes about twenty minutes. The service is nice. They provide toothbrush kit which is not that common in the US, they also provide warm hand towel, welcoming drinks and chocolates, not really luxury, but it’s an attitude. Breakfast is amazing, it is a Japanese and American combined buffet, one server here ask me how to pronounce my last name, and then taught all other servers how to pronounce it, so every time they come serve me they could know my name. They do it for every costumer! I really like this place, I would recommend it to others, however, I would try other hotels for my next visit. Trying never ends!

This place was awesome! The room had a had a beautiful view that looked amazing every time we looked. The restaurant was expensive but worth it. The pool was awesome, the people were really nice all the time. Great hotel to stay at.

First visit since they refurbished. Some interesting changes include a bar at the entrance and some seating in the waiting area outside the buffet, now named 100 Sails. The food selection had some new additions including Dim Sum. The service was great as usual. Phillip stopped by our table to do his famous coffee pour for the new members of the family.

We love staying at Prince Waikiki. We always feel welcomed and at home here. The staff take time to get to know you and recognize you when you return. The decor is very modern and classy. The views just can't be beat.

The room had a beautiful ocean view from which we could watch the sunset. The beds were very comfortable and soft. The location was convenient, just a 10 — to 15-minute walk to Ala Moana Mall and Waikiki. The one minor complaint was the shower sometimes took a long time to warm up.

What wonderful work they've done here! The hotel looks great, the rooms are beautiful, and the all new pool deck is spectacular! With regular shuttle service all around Waikiki and Honolulu… it's a perfect choice!

We spent our honeymoon at this lovely hotel. There are excellent ocean views from every room. The staff was courteous and professional. After learning that we had just been married, they even left a bottle of champagne in our room.

The room has an absolutely beautiful view. The bathrooms are especially nice. I really appreciated the shave kit in the room. The staff during check in were very friendly and the cold towelette was great. The whole hotel is so clean and beautiful, but still feels comfortable and relaxed. I especially love the pillows, the best sleep I have had in a while.

The place was real good to stay with all the details and things in place. The hotel is receding close to beach and Ala Moana shopping center. There are a lot of joints to have food nearby. I can't complain much since we loved this place and are hoping to be back at this place again.

I attend the Prince Waikiki every couple months or so for a lunch event. Their valet and other staff is always professional. The venue is nice, clean and spacious. The food can be a hit or miss at times and that is why I give them four stars. Today I had a chicken, potato stew like dish. I wasn't sure what to make of it, but it wasn't seasoned all that well. I would give it a 6/10.

The hotel is very elegant! The staff is super friendly! The room was very open, clean, and offers a lot of amenities! The 2 reasons I gave it a 4 is because 1 they don't allow taking off half a point and we went for a meeting and the continental breakfast left much to be desired! It would have been nice to have more than just breads/pastries to choose from — I'd have been good with cereals and fruits but the pastries and breading were good and not overly sweet. Over all it was a great experience and they were the one of very few hotels in the area that was nice, met the needs of the group and worked with our groups budget!

This place is a must best seafood buffet I found on the island price is excellent for great quality food drinks views and atmosphere.

Location is a little out of the way, about a 5 min walk to Waikiki beach proper. It has nice views of the harbor and ocean. From the windows you can see the boats at the marina. The pool area is spacious and relaxed although there were a decent amount of kids running around the area. The rooms were spacious with a large flat screen TV and sofa.

The captain suite which the party was hosted at was very luxurious. They had incredible variety and the waiters were good. I never had to ask to get my plate taken away.

We had dinner at hakone because we heard they were closing. Hakone is our favorite restaurant with quality food and are very disappointed that they are closing. Awesome staff and awesome service. Don't understand management.

Flight was diverted to HI after there was a medical emergency on board. Delays meant flight Crew could not continue on without rest period. Hotel was great about fitting us in over night at the last minute, and getting our taxi in order to make it back in time once the plane and crew were ready. Clean spacious rooms with a great view and windows that unlock and slide out of the way to make the view even more vibrant and let in the breeze. Great location to the beach and shopping if you are interested as well.

Staying for a few nights. Everything is pretty nice. My wife and I are pretty happy with the hotel selection, the only gripe would be that the rooms look like they're aging (although everything is functioning). Otherwise the location, price, and feel of the hotel is really good.

Specifically went for the Hakone restaurant. The sushi was the best I have ever had. The buffet choices are a great variety. Yuzu soda, I can't get enough of, and the staff was great.

Location was great. We didn't have a car so we used the bus system. The hotel is located very close to several bus stops. It's within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and beaches. Our room had a beautiful view of the marina and ocean. We loved staying there!

This is a typical Hotel. For a Honolulu hotel, it's pretty terrible because it's 15-20 minutes from the heart of Waikiki Beach and though we had a breathtaking view… of a marina… from our 20-something floor window, it wasn't as good as staying at Waikiki proper. If you opt for the resort package, you get parking and bottled water, and perhaps Wi-Fi, but don't even dream about getting breakfast. Overall, this is a rather mediocre, poorly-located hotel. I should also add that I am sick and tired of Hawaiian hotels treating Japanese tourists like first class and everyone else like second-class citizens.

Great buffet at the prince. They have some pretty good snow crab legs and omlet station! There is such a variety of food that will make you want to try everything.

My experience is with the buffet located on the second floor. Overall food selection and dining location were pleasent. Extra bonus is the sushi bar which a line forms during busy hours. Overall great experience. Always go here for office celebrations.

I stay at this place alot. I really like their pool area. It's simple but it's really quiet. They added a new $30 service charge on to the rooms but this counts towards parking.

This resort was absolutely beautiful. Very convenient to Wakiki beach and surrounding areas. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. The Prince Court restaurant Seafood buffet is absolutely the best fresh seafood of all sorts that you will ever get. It is a must eat. My husband and I ate twice there.

I played piano when I went there, and they never let kids, especially me, play in the lobby. It's quiet the well placed area for any mover going for a two-to-three week stay in Honolulu, Oahu in Hawaii. Check it out if you'd like.

I had the opportunity to stay at the Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki for my honeymoon a few years ago, and it was picture perfect. We stayed in a two bedroom Prince Suite with panoramic ocean views. The sunset views are also amazing. The staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to make you feel at home. I highly recommend choosing this convenient property for your next Waikiki adventure.
