Good solid place to stay. Staff are always accommodating. Breakfast is good. Love that this location is right next to the interstate. It has a gym and an outdoor pool. They look nice but I haven't tried either. The hotel is showing its age in some places but I still think it's a good place to stay.

Roanoke Rapids is our main stopping point for the night between Fl and NY. This was our fourth stop over and we used two other inns before. This was the best yet. It is the highest cost Inn off of exit 173 but not so bad, $124 for the night. But you do get breakfast. At the Cracker Barrel almost in the same parking lot you'll easily spend $20-25 for two. The room was exactly what you want in a room. Bathroom was very clean. The counter was granite, base looked like a piece of furniture, (sorry no pics) and, looked almost new. The room itself was large, two queen beds, and plenty of room. Breakfast area was very nice and one of the best yet as far as size and cleanliness. The wife was very pleased with it so this will be our got to place on I95. When we do stop and stay at low cost motels and inn's, they are almost always look worn out even after a remodel. The front desk personnel always had a smile.

Nice place to stay and rest. Nice big room with some amminities of home. If you want to go out and eat they share the same lot as Cracker Barrel. I enjoyed my stay. Thanks.

This Hotel is right off Route 95. The rooms are dark and quiet. A perfect spot to stop on the way down to Florida from NJ or the way back. The rooms are clean and a free breakfast is available. It's not luxury, but it fits the needs of most travellers.

Coming from someone who travels for a living, this was a great place to stay. The staff is extremely friendly, breakfast was awesome, beds and showers are great. Everything you can ask for when passing through, just off I-95. Thanks Hampton Inn!

Excellent place to stay. The staff was very professional. Check-in was very easy and fast. Reasonable price and wonderful room.

Great place to stay while in town. The beds are comfortable and the Wi-Fi is free. The customer service at the front desk was very helpful and other then the elevator being forever slow was the only draw back I could find. Either way you look at it I will gladly stay here again if given the choice. Thanks for having us and hope you guys keep up the good work.

Here for business. Clean hotel. Walking distance to Cracker Barrel. Courteous staff. Staff made us feel welcome soon as we entered. Felt like being home.

Made an unexpected stop here while driving to Florida. The rooms were very clean and the hotel is very well maintained (its about 10 years old I think). The people at the front desk were very nice. The free breakfast in the morning was great. Good variety.

I had a very pheasant stay at this hotel. My room was spotless and well stocked. The room was also spacious and the pictures online were an accurate representation. Breakfast was very good too, hot waffles, eggs, ham, and all the continental breakfast standards.

Pleasant experience all the way through. All areas of this hotel we experienced were clean and well maintained. Room was immaculate. Staff was friendly. Very accommodating while traveling with a guest that has a service dog. Breakfast was great with tons of options. I will book here again!

This hotel is awesome, went summer of 2017 for family reunion. Pool was clean, rooms were nice, a lot of places close to go and eat, breakfast buffet is wonderful, and we love the fact that they have a snack bar. Its a little pricey and the gym is small, not all the equipment was working.

Hampton Inns are always my go to hotel when I'm traveling, especially because of the breakfast lol. Great service, clean nice room, it's all Hampton what can I say.

Very nice hotel right off of the interstate (I-95). Easy to get to with ready access to shopping and dinner. Breakfast is decent for a free offering, but Cracker Barrel is less than 50 yards away.

Clean, comfortable room. Everything was in good repair. Breakfast was a little better than most. Ample parking. Didn't have a reservation and the nightly rate was a bit steeper than I wabtes to pay, but that's the chance one takes when not booking online.

Room was great and good service. Also a cracker barrel outside so good alternative breakfast close by.

Very clean, lovely staff. Beds are comfortable and breakfast is perfect. This us our 2nd night in a Hampton and is very nice.

Great room, well cleaned and decorated. The bed was very comfortable. Free hot breakfast, with waffles, sausage, eggs, and oat meal. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Clean for the most part — inside of drawers need some attention. Floor was quiet, staff was exceptionally generous and kind. Slept well, comfy beds, and the room was nice and cool. Well appointed, roomy bathroom and closet. Coffee bar up front was a nice touch and breakfast was abundant with many choices and refreshed regularly. Happy with our stay while we were in town. Will be back. :)

Clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff, usual free morning breakfast. Decent pool. We stayed here for a night on our way to Hilton Head island, SC and enjoyed our stay. I really liked multiple extension points including USB charging points (a necessity in today's world of gadgets) :) will stay again!

The rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. There weren't enough handicapped parking spots causing me to have to crutch inside from one of the side entrances (which are always locked (thats a good thing) ) with a baby and three bags.

Courteous staff! Spotless. Safe environment. I highly recommend staying here. We have been here often for our trip stops. And I have recommended. Hampton Inn Roanoke Rapids to several people.

Great location by restaurants and right off of 95. Breakfast is good and they keep it coming if things run low. Pool is not heated and there is no spa, but the kids and I still had fun. Overall a pleasure two weeks. I would recommend this place.

Breakfast was wonderful, and even being a non smoker, the room was pleasantly clean and fresh.

Stayed one night driving cross country. Room was fine if a little small. Good bed, decent complimentary breakfast, easy in/eassy out.

True southern hospitality starts here! Hard to believe this small town delivers a big city feel when it comes to world class service. Pam, Cornelius, Chelsea, and others helped to make a first time visit a lasting impression. In fact, a repeat stay within a week and more to come in the future. This is a great halfway point for northerners travelling deep south. These folks sure know what they're doing… clean, spacious facility… super friendly staff… quick check-in process… and very accomodating to all guest needs. Additionally, there's plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Enjoy your stay… we sure did!

Very nice, room was clean, breakfast was nice.

The best part of our stay was the staff, they were incredible and very friendly! We only stayed for 1 night for a wedding and stayed on the 5th floor, the room was spacious and clean with both a microwave and mini fridge which we love. The only reason we gave a 4 stars instead of a 5 was the pillows and thermostat… The pillows are not typical filling pillows instead it was like someone took a thousand cotton balls and threw them in a sack they were terrible. The thermostat we think was also broken, we had to turn it down to 65 degrees to be comfortable in December… it was blazing hot all night even with the thermostat that low. So we didn't sleep well at all… but this might have just been a fluke of a broken thermostat and not a reflection of the hotel.

Worth the premium. Super clean rooms and comfy beds, friendly staff, spacious rooms. Waffles, eggs and oatmeal in the am — the fastest start to the roadtrip day w kids in tow. And I'm a big fan of hot chocolate and hot tea at night, always ready in the lobby. $145 w AAA discount and tax incl (7/2014).

Stains on bedding. Not the best hampton in, skip roanoke rapids and stay in Emporia, much cleaner.

I often say at this hotel when visiting family in the area. It's very comfortable, clean and the continential breakfast in the morning is perfect. No complaints.
