Check in took way longer than it should have taken. The rooms were clean and well stocked. The breakfast was tasty and had a good variety of food.

Clean room friendly staff swimming pool great breakfast pet friendly with no reservation! This is my safe haven when traveling back and forth from Boston to Florida!

Last two times I stayed here. The rooms had a smell. One was a pet friendly room … smelled real bad. Next was a smoking room. Has bad smoke smell.

Comfortable beds. Heated pool, and a shower stall. The air conditioner was a bit noisy but I slept great. Definitely recommend it.

The one star is for the hospitality from the staff but the rooms there are infested with bugs and huge roaches I couldn’t have stayed one more second if the front desk wouldn’t have gave me a full refund I would have rather sleep out in my car.!

I always stay here when I am in the area. Convenient to restaurants and golf. Comfortable beds.

I would like to say this I have stayed at the Sleep Inn for years and the quality of the hotel has gone down. We arrived and when we entered our room which was a suite there were no towels. The TV that promised service for offered channels did not work. We were told someone would come and check no one showed up. The pull out bed needs a new mattress it is worn out, the pool that was promised for use was not working and has been down since 2017. Whoever took over as new owners need to be trained on ownership. It is not the same Sleep Inn that I had come to enjoy my stay while vacationing in there. I may not stay there in the future for my next visit to North Carolina.

We prayed for an adventure and boy did we get one. Woke up to bedbugs! The manager was reputable and gave us a refund. On a positive note… breakfast bar was fantastic! Staff were courteous and accommodating.

I came because of the pool. But the pool has been shut down since November 2017. I should have went somewhere else.

Room was mediocre, if you need a place to stay while traveling then it's not a terrible option.

The staff is very friendly and the hotel is very clean. Its location is convenient too. We have been here working fo a couple of months now and have had the best experience. The made staying feel as much like home as possible. The got breakfast is just the icing on the cake. I would recommend this hotel to everyone passing through. You'll love it.

My overnight stay at the Sleep Inn was very relaxing. The indoor pool was nice and the breakfast was great.

They handle chaos with extreme professionalism. When it can't be avoided of course.

Hotel was nasty and dirty! Staff was very nice however. I would not recommend this hotel and will not stay there again!

Check in early on Fridays and Saturday nights, the parking lot fills up quickly, otherwise I love what they did with the renovations.

Only stay at this hotel if all of the other around are full. It is outdated and desperately needs repairs, carpet is falling apart etc. Section with pet friendly room, room was smelling bad and not of animal. Hallway had overwhelming smell of whatever they use to cover bad smell. 2 humidifier in the hallway who weren’t functioning due to buckets were full of water and it still hadn’t been emptied when I left. Quality of breakfast for was disappointing.

I can't believe the rating on this hotel. There were clues! Dehumidifiers running in the hall. First room was totally unacceptable because of the strong moldy smell. Second room was the only other option and my wife wanted to pass on both and move on. I had just completed a 600 mile drive and was willing to compromise my standards of acceptable and that's the only reason we stayed. We will not return.

Great place! Very comfortable room, nice heated pool, exceptionally clean.

The only good thing about this place was the receptionist lady at the front desk. We arrived at 1am so I believe she works the nights. Very nice lady, polite and accommodating. She made us feel very welcome. However I cannot say the same things about the hotel itself. It smells moldy. Rooms feel moist. The beds, sheets, pillows had hair and stains on them. The pull out mattress had pee stains all over it. There were pin point blood stains on the comforters so not sure about the bug situation. Surprisingly bathrooms were very clean but towels appeared used (hair and other stuff on them). My kids and the husband slept for 5 hours, I had to go back in the car to sleep, bc there was so much humidity in the air I couldn't breathe. I wish our whole experience measured up to the initial welcoming feel we got from the nice young lady, but unfortunately it didn't. On the bill her credentials were "pgoins". Forgot to ask her name. If this place has any good reviews, it's probably because of her. She deserves her own star. The place itself is 0 stars.

Smells like 1989 in here… smells like smokers lived in here for 30 years and never ran a dehumidifier… cigarette holes in the blankets… two different lights in the bed side lamps… throw a little spackle loosely on the wall slap some paint on it and update bed sheets and they think they have a 5 star hotel… pictures looked great online. I was fooled. Super sketch when there are signs that say no weapons allowed… Staff not personable… not worth what you pay…

I decided to put my family in a hotel that had great qualities. The beds and room was just that. BUT… The breakfast was really lacking, dirty area as well. The pool was far from clean. We realized once we got in how foggy and dirty it was. We got out afterwards quickly. It had things floating on top of the water, stains on the pool walls, when you wipe would come off. Upon looking more the halls and floors weren't clean at all. The room did get musty and damp when we got back in. All in all the beds were great, just other aspects really disappointed us.

Situated in a convenient place and easy to find. Our room had the smell of smoke, but in the end, we feel comfortable staying here for two nights.

The room strongly smelled like mildew. There was also a little scum in the shower, but other than that the stay was decent.

I had a very pleasant stat. The room service was excellent and the rooms were very nice.

Sleep Inn of Roanoke Rapids. Everything was great from room to customer service. Even the breakfast was good with eggs and bacon. Only issue would be the pool is 'slightly' heated with 3 water jets of warmer water while the rest of the pool is freezing.

The whole entire place had a smell of urine, and a closed up old mildew smell. I had to change rooms because of it. Another guest changed rooms for the same reason.

After traveling all day long with a baby this was a very nice place to stop. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We felt safe with our 5 month old here which was very important to us. Breakfast bar was great with tons of choices, even had a waffle maker. Would definitely stay here again and would most definetly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was good and plentiful and the staff were helpful, and courtesy. I'd stay there again.

Very nice and clean hotel with an awesome salt and heated pool. They also have free breakfast which is amazing. No doubt in my mind that this deserves 5 stars!

Currently here with our 3 children, right near the front desk. It's 9:40pm and all my husband and I hear is LOUD thumping music and people screaming "aaayy"

The service is the rooms are cozy and clean breakfast is good.

9/2015~~Stayed here on our way back from FL. I've read the other posts and am surprised by the comments. This is a beautiful not your typical Sleep Inn. So I'm thinking the hotel was very recently remodeled. Beautiful lobby and very nice breakfast room. Hubby went in to price a room (we had just driven from Orlando, FL… a long trip to say the least) He was quoted a price and said 'thank you' and started to leave but the desk person said she could do better and gave a new price. That clinched it for us… lol. Really appreciated that as it was around 7.30p. Lovely room (331) in shades of green. Comfy king bed and nice bathroom. Breakfast was fabulous. We are moving to FL this fall and might stay there on our way down. Enjoy! :)
