Complete dump stayed there on our way down 95 checked in found cocaine in my daughters room police were called tested positive went to manager Ashley lynch said she was comping us free breakfast both rooms and only charging us half for both rooms she said it be adjusted well that was in July and it’s now November guess what still waiting on that credit you said you want to move up well try to ripping off travelers first will never stay there again.

Nice experience for one night stay. Very large rooms and bathrooms.

Clean, quiet, relaxing. Easy to find. Rooms are spotless and comfortable. Nice little in house menu and food is good! We will make this “our stop” for an overnight on our yearly trip to Florida.

As a customer that needs an accessible room if you're not persistent you won't get it. The room was old i. E, the TV. Carpet and bathtub. Very disappointing. Never again.

Nice quite place to stay. Had a room on the fifth floor very quite. Had our two pups with us 2 pounds and 6 pounds. They were quite all night.

Rooms were pretty gross. Stains everywhere. Hallways were old and stained. Keep driving.

We do not recommend this hotel. The hotel property needs serious investment for renovation, however, it is very convenient for travelers immediately off I-95, so it should be a valued location for Hilton. The staff was very pleasant, respectful, and responsive, and they made our stay much better. But the property should be an embarrassment to Hilton, and it is not respectful to the staff and their community. All furniture and fixtures are dirty from the lobby to the rooms. The carpet, walls, and doors can never be made to look clean, and we had mildew on the ceiling in our room. Hilton should consider renovating or selling the property.

The front desk at check in woman 1130pm was amazing! But the hotel is dirty the hallways are stained and dirty. Our bed wasn’t clean. Had dog hair all over the top. So I opened up to the sheets and dog hair and other hair inside the “made” bed. It was disgusting. We were moved to another room (again the woman was amazing) 10/30 night shift, the second room the hallways smelled like weed and the air conditioner was so loud. Every time it kicked on it was like. A broken motor. Do not recommend. Very dirty for Hilton.

Beautiful facility, fairly new with clean comfortable rooms.

The staff are amazing I wish I could say the same for the actual hotel the rooms are super outdated linen doesn’t fit the bed at all the showers are very suspect the whole building could use an upgrade especially for the prices they’re charging people to stay here according to other people’s comments that got no response from the company I know this won’t either but if you’re going to charge people these prices please upgrade your furniture and and bathrooms.

The outside of the hotel and the lobby area were very nice. The ladies at the front desk were also friendly and hospitable. Unfortunately, the fourth floor smelled like weed, the room wasn’t that clean and it needs updating. The toilet also made a loud noise. The room was not what I expected for $200 a night. It was convenient to the highway and plenty of parking, but I would probably choose a better option next time. It was just mediocre.

The room is disgusting, the TV doesn’t work, the restaurant is terrible. The grout in the bathroom looks like a bad science project.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice. I believe a little pricey considering everything in the hotel was closed. I understand covid is still an issue for some places, but the process should reflect just that. The point of it all is the amenities. Instead of 125 a room, maybe 95. Especially considering the area as well. There is absolutely nothing to see or do locally. The kids and I tried to visit a lake for photos and it was locked down, fences with barb wire. I've been to other Hilton's that reflected the area, this was not one of them.

Very nice and clean, only issue due to Covid pandemic NO Breakfest so I would have thought the price would be less.

Had a really good night sleep after traveling for a long time… and super cozy beds… also was great that they were pet friendly so I could bring my dog in the room with me.

We can't say enough good things about this place! Pet friendly and they go out of the way to be nice! Will ALWAYS look for a Hilton Garden Inn from now on!

Really nice hotel right off i-95. Convenient location, I arrived late at night looking for a hotel and the night staff was courteous in checking me in and at a great rate too, despite no previous reservation! Rooms were well-kept and very spacious. Full hot breakfast including pancakes, waffles, and bacon. Would definitely stay here again if driving through.

My husband, kids and I stayed this past weekend and we really enjoyed it! The front desk staff was great shout out to Alicia and Alex! We had breakfast included in our room price both mornings no complaints at all was really good. Ate dinner once at their restaurant and it was pretty good as well! Room was nice and comfortable also love we were able to have our little Molly join us! We’ll definitely stay again!

I was beyond frustrated… I made my reservation on June 11th for 2 Queens Beds and for a two-night stay; it was to accommodate my husband, son and me. We were coming into town to help celebrate my brother’s 35th Wedding Anniversary that was being held at the hotel. Well, when I arrived at the hotel on Friday, July 27th to check in, I have to admit that the front desk clerk greeted me with excellence customer service. I gave her my Id and reservation number; she in turned tol…d me that my reservation was for a King Rm. It wasn’t what I booked. Long story short, the atmosphere turned cold … and no, understanding wasn’t on my short list. At this point, nothing I said mattered because the clerk informed me that the hotel was booked and the only alternative was to place a sleeping cart in the King Rm. For me, this wasn’t acceptable, which led her to call a supervisor to the front desk to address their error. Needless to say, I was asked to leave the hotel because the supervisor didn’t like my tone. My daughter was present so she intervened on my behalf. Again, nothing mattered, we left the hotel with a printed-out paper that reference my conformation number and a pre-auth balance. Thank God my credit card wasn’t charged. There was a upside to this madness that I wish to acknowledge. A total stranger in the lobby who witness my ordeal stepped forward and started calling various hotel in the area to help me find a hotel with two (2) beds.

The breakfast staff was Awesome two really nice guys cooked a great breakfast (deadlocks and beard guy). So nice I gave them a big tip. The check in took a long time. The maintenance guy cleaned the pool well. So I was happy with my stay! Would stay here again!

Everything was exceptional! We stopped late in the evening & they were so accommodating. Brenda at the front desk was so sweet! All the staff that night & next morning were so friendly. The room was clean and the beds & pillows so comfortable. We enjoyed the 24 hour pool & hot tub. We will definitely return on our next trip through!

Pet-friendly which is a turn off for me. Pets are allowed on floors 1 & 2 only. I was on floor 5. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Bed was comfortable & room was clean. We were leaving at 5:30am. Only coffee in your room for free. Complimentary coffee only when breakfast is available. : (most other hotels have free coffee available 24/7.

The hotel was easy to find. Close to I95. The lobby was pretty and the receptionist was very nice and professional. Though the room was large, I felt like it needed an upgrade and the bathroom didn't feel as clean as I expected from a Hilton owned hotel. I did not get an opportunity to try the restaurant or room service. Also, because we left at 3:00 am, we were not there to eat breakfast. Other hotels we have stayed at, offered us a To Go bag when we left prior to the breakfast hour. This hotel did not. Overall, it was an ok hotel, not sure if I would stay again.

My parents got a room just for the morning to sleep and get back on the road. The front desk and one waitress were the sweetest most accommodating people I've ever met in my life I couldn't have made it through the day if it wasn't for them. They may not know it but they saved me. Thank goodness for them. I'll never forget my experience here.

For me the most important thing is cleanliness. I am so picky about hotels and I love this one! Super nice staff. The sweet woman at the desk gave me a discount and we were able to keep both our dogs in the room with us. I will definitely use them again! Clean, professional, and FRIENDLY atmosphere. I should add that I’m writing this review from my cozy hotel room.

Staff is friendly and helpful, even to the point of assistance in baggage handling. Looks attractive and clean, but I found soiled washcloth on shower curtain and could stand a bit better housekeeping. They did quickly remove cloth and replace curtain. When I went to check out my bill had been marked as paid without any discussion. I'd go there again, with my eyes open and after combing the room for problems first.

It was a great experience if you can get past the blood in the pool bathroom, which was not the hotels fault. It was probably someone doing drugs, with a bloody nose or something. Only complaint is that we called the hotel and they said that the pool had a warm part and it was broken, besides what they said.

We were traveling from Savannah to Philadelphia. Perfect midpoint stopover. Right off of 95. We got there later than expected and wondered where we'd be able to get something to eat… so happy to find they have a small restaurant and bar that is open until 10 PM! We had our dog with us… no problem. Nice room. Quiet with a good bed. Didn't stay long enough… but nice setting, pool etc. Great hot to cook breakfast. Very good service. Will be our go to place for this route in the future!

Front desk staff courteous and efficient. Room was outstanding! Breakfast was great too. Hot tub in pool area wasn't working which would have made my stay even better. Really, this property was beautiful and I would definitely stay here again.

I found the cleanliness of this place surprising. I was expecting the usual toothpaste splatter and stains on the rug but no. This place was actually well maintained. The only thing that did bother me was being a person with pets, I couldn't find the pet stations outside. Where's the poop bags?

The room was clean as most Hilton hotels are. Being a long time HHonors member, I was disappointed was the dinner prices vs portions. I ordered the steak dinner, and for $19, the steak as very small as well as the wine portion. Even more disappointing, was breakfast. I have never had to pay for breakfast at a Hilton Hotel and was flabbergasted that there was a charge. Shame on your Hilton…

Absolutely the best Hotel In Halifax County. I've stayed here several times during my travel. I stop in because I have family in Roanoke Rapids. This hotel is beautiful, smells great. Staff members at the front desk could use some more training but that the only complaint. The dinning area is very clean and lots of room. The food is made to order and it's 5 star Quality Food. The Suites are beautifully designed and very spacious. Lots of room for parking. Ant it is very secure and safe to stay unlike many other hotels in the Area. I love the friendly staff and they greet you everytime you walk through the lobby. Beautiful views from the rooms. If you want a nice luxurious place to relax with everything you could think of. Please spend your money here at the HILTON GARDEN INN IN ROANOKE RAPIDS NC. great staff and exceptionally clean. Thank You for pleasant, and comfortable stays.

The people at the hotel are very helpful with attending to anything you need. They helped us resolve a booking issue that wasn't their fault without question or issue. However, breakfast is not free, and we didn't know that. I like breakfast. I do not like paying for it when other hotels don't charge you.

As I said in my TripAdvisor review I like this hotel. Usually my stay here is very nice (clean rooms, pleasant staff who aim to please & great food) but my last stay a few weeks back was off-putting to say the least. Apparently one of the hotel workers Britney (I remember seeing her name tag) thought it was a good idea to have a loud, full blown phone conversation outside of my room while my wife, three children & I load our luggage. This (Caucasian) girl Britney, also thought it was appropriate to repeatedly say the N word while on the phone in front of my African American wife. I'm Caucasian and I was embarrassed and offended by this girls ignorance. Hopefully we will not see her again on our next stay. But other than that everything was top notch.

I enjoyed my stay. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff I encountered were nice. Didn't try the restaurant but I did see some complaints in other comments. The best part for me was location. Right off the highway and close enough to food and shops.

Pet friendly room was not clean and they charged us a $30 fee to have it pet friendly. Charged us $9.95 for all you can eat breakfast. Honestly we have had the same breakfast at Hampton Inn and suites, and other hotels as a free continental breakfast. We should have went down the road to McDonald's for half the price. I loved the mattress, good nites sleep. Mirror was broken on closet door at the bottom.

One of the employees was very rude, I stopped one of the ladies that was collecting trash on my floor (Britney) & asked for a change of sheets. She was on her phone & quickly responded with "that's not my job" walked away & continued talking on the phone. Usually my stay here is nice & everyone was so helpful & friendly.

The location is right off the interstate close to shopping and food all less than 15 minutes away. The rooms were comfortable, well stocked, with good quality items. I stayed two different nights a week apart and my only complaints were that once person checking us in was not particularly friendly, the restaurant is a bit overpriced, and the hottub could cause a cleaning.

Overall, my family enjoyed the stay at Hilton Garden Inn. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The kids really enjoyed having the indoor pool there for some rec time when we otherwise be sitting around. Low points were the resteraunt (food was awful) and they could've kept the pool area cleaner.

I'm a a big fan of Hilton Garden Inns in general and this one did not let us down. The rooms were clean and new, the staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared for us. We stayed here while we were on the road but we would come again anytime since it was such a good experience.

Booked this particular hotel for a 2 night stay due to the fact it offered a 24 pool and spa. When we arrived at midnight to check-in, there was a sign on the counter stating the spa is out of service through 10/23. There was no mention of this on the website. There was not a lot of options since it was after midnight when we arrived. Staff did let us cancel the second night but this impacted this vacation negatively. Room was ok, smelled like a dog and incense but was clean. Did not try the food.

Our balcony door did not lock. The jacuzzi was closed for maintenance. The carpets are very very old if not original. Overall it a bit outdated. But the staff is nice. The small bar, though disorganized is as ok. Had the shrimp cocktail and it was great. Free coffee in the lobby was nice. We asked for lemons and the staff went above and beyond. In spite of the quirks it still deserves 5 stars.

Check in was great very cordial very nice, room was fine.
Loby was dirty and the floor was so sticky that my shoes actually stuck to the ground and I walked out of them last night.
I was told they had just cleaned it but someone spilled something again.
This morning I went down for breakfast and the same thing, floor had not been cleaned my feet stuck. Everyone was squeaking around because you had to walk through that area.
The breakfast was hardly acceptable there were no bagels there were no English muffins. The only choice you had was pathetic white bread and day-old biscuits.
The waffle machine was broken so you had to try to time your own.
The tables were dirty I stood there 10 minutes waiting no one approached me ; I had to go over to the kitchen area and asked someone to come please and clean off a table.

Very clean and accommodating and great room service. Dog friendly which is key for us for our road trips to and from Florida. Right off route 95 so also extremely convenient. Will definitely be staying here in the future!

Nice hotel on a good day but was there when they were full with FL reugees. They were overwhelmed and did their best. Otherwise a nice and modern hotel at a reasonable cost.

Quiet and clean, but disappointed: I called to reserve the room just 2 days prior to our stay. Confirmed on the phone that we had a suite room that had a separate bedroom (crucial for our family with a toddler and small baby who goes to bed early), and that the hotel had an indoor pool. Was disappointed to find the pool was undergoing renovations (which I feel like they must have known about when I called to book just 2 days prior), and our 1 bedroom suite didn't have a bedroom, just a separate 'living room' area that was not separated by a full wall/door (which I also specifically requested when I booked). We had cancelled reservations with another hotel when we discovered this one offered the suite set up that we wanted-except when we got there, it wasn't the set up we were told on the phone. For not having 2 of the main things we wanted, I was disappointed with the stay. Other than that, the hotel was clean and quiet at night, and staff was friendly.

Was not what I expected. To much of a dog's hotel. The room smelled, you could really tell people with a dog was in the room. The people who work there were great. The carpets in the room and hall needs to be replaced. This was not what I expected to be staying at for a Hilton hotel.

This is an easy to find, well maintained hotel. Other than not offering free breakfast, I found this to be one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in the past few years. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I also enjoyed having an in room Koenig and refrigerator. Would definitely stay here again the next time I travel I95.

I really enjoyed staying at the Hilton Garden. My visit was 1/30/16 and they have a very welcoming lobby and there staff is very nice as well. I love that there pool and hot tub is 24-hours. They also have complimentary ice water and lemonade at the bar. Overall my stay there was lovely and I will be returning back in the future.

My vet in Rhode Island recommended this pet friendly hotel as the best place to stay the night when traveling down south on I-95 with a dog. It was excellent. Friendly, clean, safe, and easy.

We stay 1 night enroute to Florida and 1night by returning the new year's Eve we strongly recommend this place.

We have 3 kids and stayed here one night. Staff was fantastic, food was great and my son loved the pool. Have stayed here before, would stay again. Suite was perfect for our family. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel room. But the pool was very small, the air was cold, and there seemed to be excessive chlorine in the pool.

Everyone was very friendly and the rooms were clean. My kids loved the pool. Overall its a nice hotel. I think its a little expensive for what you're getting though. I was very disappointed to find they do not have a complimentary breakfast, I thought every hotel provided that. There is a restaurant on site but its $9.95 a person for the breakfast buffet. We probably would find a different hotel next time.

The hotel accomadations are great. Large, comfortable rooms. One of the main reasons we stay here is the bar and restaurant. After driving all day we prefer not to leave the hotel. On the evening of April 15 we sat in the restaurant and could see that there was not enough help and the very nice waiter was a little stressed. We went to the bar instead and decided we'd just eat there. We have seldom encountered a more sullen or terrible employee. He clearly did not want us to sir there or to take our order. The only people to whom he was civil were two young women at a high top table, and he talked to them and tried to ignore everyone else. He told us he was out of Michelob Ultra and asked in a snide manner if we wanted the warm one displayed on a shelf. Finally we were so irritated we went back to the dining room and decided to wait however long it would take because at least that young man was trying his best in a bad situation.

Well, I have to say that this was a decent room an accommodation as expected with Hilton. However, during the evening either a guest or company vehicle did damage to my rear bumper. The bumper is cracked and it seems that one lens was broken. Now I expect that there might be littleor no liability on behalf of the company. But the manager on duty at 7:30 am on the 26th seemed very indifferent to my plight. He was marginally helpful, and offered no real assistance. Sorry Sir have breakfast on us, let get the authorites for you, something! The manager simply stared into his computer and pretended that I was a voice in the wind, is this what I am to expect from a Hilton? I'm greatly disappointed in the apathy expressed. In addition I called Hilton Honors, for which I am a member. Same response little concern. I spent $100 Plus the deductible for the privalege of this "so what" attitude. I think I'm going to rethink staying at any Hilton Hotel in the future. Not because accidents can happen but staff should be more gracious in such traumatic events. I think I will share this experience on other media and persue some satisfaction. update: ms. Hamm, assistant general manager emailed regarding my experience and has graciously provided a considerarion and professional responce. If this is fulfilled I believe thw shock will be softened. Thanks in advance Ms. Hamm. Of course I will follow up this update to see they actually follow through with thier promise.

My husband and I were traveling north for the holdiays with our boys (2 dogs) to be with our family. After a 10 hour drive we stopped at the Hilton Garden Inn. The rooms were very clean, the staff was very friendly and the service was outstanding. We were so comfortable at this hotel that we booked the same room for our journey back home. "Thank You" to the entire staff for a very comfortable stay at Hilton Garden Inn.
