Barbara at the front desk is the most welcoming front desk attendant that I have EVER spoke to on the phone and THE BEST in person! My family and I absolutely LOVE HER!

We arrived late. Very late. The woman who staffed the desk (Andrea) was like the dream hostess we never have had, only imagined. It was like showing up late at a friend's house, and they roll out a red carpet. It was like being so tired we were nearly brain dead, and Andrea just jumped in and took care of getting us a cart, checked into our room, and safe. Plus the room was clean and there were plenty of soft clean towels and endless hot water.

We had a lovely stay. Hotel is clean and pretty. Staff are friendly and helpful. Our flight was late, we were really tired and Andrea at the front desk was particularly helpful to is getting checked in. Breakfasts were really good with a great variety. I would recommend and will stay here again!

Quite good location. Has all the popular restaurant chains nearby. Good rooms and service.

Stayed here for a wedding and it was great! The night auditor was real cool and the other deal representatives were charming. Great staff. Decent breakfast. Fab location.

Going through renovations, Great updates, lovely staff, nice breakfast. Over all A+ and Ms Barbie was great checking us in last night couldn’t have asked for a better clerk.

The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly.

To say this hotel is disappointing is being generous. There was a yappy dog across the hall from our room that didn't stop barking until well after midnight despite complaining about it to the front desk 3 times. Supposedly only service dogs are allowed, which this one clearly was not! Worse, the sliding barn door for the bathroom did not close properly, and there was no other room we could move to because of renovations. We will not stay here ever again!

Was undergoing a much needed renovation, but at the end of the day, it's a Hampton inn folks, don't expect too much. Rooms were ok, breakfast was typical Hampton inn menu.

Stayed for the weekend. The hotel is under construction and getting some needed updates. Very friendly staff, breakfast was good, beds are very comfortable, price was good. I would stay there again.

Pleasant staff. Rooms are ok. Shower is horrible. Tub is like a bowl and hard to shower.

It is a nice hotel with reasonable prices. It is located right off 40 and is about 10 minutes from a MAJOR shopping center (Cabella's, Target, Best Buy, etc. ) in Garner. Unfortunately, the hotel was being renovated during our stay (warning was given on their website) but was still a very pleasant stay. Every room has great pillows and mattresses, they also offer a whirlpool siut. Great hotel, would stay again.

Nice location just outside Raleigh. They are updating now but definitely needing to. Carpet was filthy in my room which made my morning stretches very unattractive. Other than that, folks were nice and breakfast was good. Beds were pretty decent. Can't wait to go back after remodel to see the improvements.

Old, needs to be updated. The carpets are threadbare in many places. The AC doesn't work well to dehumidify. My room was very humid and smelled musty. One bed smelled like old urine. The breakfast was ok, but probably the worst I've had at a HI. We won't be returning. I recommend you strongly consider other options.

Whrilpool suite is one of the most relaxing rooms with an awesome breakfast in the mornings, different coffees, eggs, potatoes, ect. The fact that there are two waffle irons makes it quick to enjoy breakfast! There is a variety of very friendly staff with exceptional cleanliness throughout the building.

Customer service was great. Everyone is friendly, helpful and respectful. The carpet is a bit dirty and definitely looks old but everything was extremely clean. I would stay here again.

The lobby and staff are very friendly. Upon entering our room it had a strong perfume/deodorizer odor. That very quickly turned to a moldy/musty odor. As someone with extreme allergies I spent the night choking instead of sleeping. I spoke to the front desk clerk during checkout and she just kept saying sorry. It's sad that the hotel looks nice but had obviously not maintained either the carpeting or mattress.

I have stayed here 2 times and I enjoyed my stay. Staff very friendly, room was immaculate, plenty of towels, bed was very comfortable, breakfast was great! Will definitely stay again when I'm in town!

Stayed here for the weekend and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The entire hotel is outdated. Everything and I do mean everything needs to be upgraded! You can literally see the dirt build up in the carpets. The paint looks like it's the same paint from the early 80's. On a good note (the only good note) the staff is very friendly.

Really enjoyed our stay. The staff is easy to work with and provided excellent customer service. I recently had my wedding guests stay that this location and everyone enjoyed their stay. Family friendly hotel, right off the highway, and very close to shopping and restaurants.

There weren't any towels at the pool. But my wife and I stayed there on our honey moon, so they would have had to royally screwed up for us to even notice that it was a hotel.

Took a trip to Raleigh… stayed 2 nights at the "swanky" __________ Raleigh North. Decided to spend another night, and stayed at Hampton Inn Clayton. The money we spent at Raleigh North, I was sure, we would want for nothing. Boy, were we wrong! From needing housekeeping twice to next to impossible Wi-Fi, to a terrible breakfast bar that we left after just sitting down, without anyone wanting to know why… H. I. Clayton… I called last minute, they got us a room. Very attent…ive staff! I was late for breakfast the next morning and the staff there, brought food BACK out for me to take back to my Bride and Mom in law! Clean room, bigger than my (close to $300/ night) room in Raleigh. A great 3rd night that was just my ladies needed, after returning to their home state to say goodbye to a beautiful family member, who was needed in heaven much sooner than we thought. And for that, there is only 1 hotel We will stay at when visiting our Family. Count on it! David Collins.

This is a good choice for a comfortable "upper-middle" stay in the 40-42 area. Located at the center of the eating and shopping center of the Cleveland Township, everything to offer is already within walking distance or a short drive. The double rooms are spacious and clean. The service was adequate, though a tad removed.

Wonderful Hampton Inn! They even have breakfast bags to go incase you're in a hurry! All of the rooms are immaculate and comfy! We stay here once a month for business and we love this location!

They always have a friendly person at the front desk. Rooms are clean and it's a good value.

Very clean & comfortable bed. Checked in @ the last minute due to my power going out due to the ice storm. My room was warm & cozy, the puppy & I slept very well.

Very clean rooms and friendly service! The breakfast is very well done and you have a variety of choices. I would defiantly recommend if staying in Garner area.

Just had a wonderful stay there recently. Great staff, accommodations, and the nice free breakfast was the icing on top.

I stayed here the last 2 years and I was very happy with the service. The hostess who checked us in was very pleasant. The best pary of the stay was during breakfast the lady working bteakfast was very ftiendly and she made sure that we had everything we needed. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I can't remember the hostesses name but she was the younger one of the 2 on day shift and I can't remember the women's name in the dining room but she was awesome. I intend to stay there again because of the great service. I even got to enjoy the pool. Next time I come up I'll bring a fe bags of salt potatoes for the lady in the dining room who had missed them since leaving the NY area.
