First stay one year ago towards the end of May 2012 — Hotel was nice, clean was quiet. I was told the hard rain cause a tree to come down it knocked out the power to the entire building. * I was awaken around 6am by staff reassuring everyone was ok. I was fine, But I didnt get any sleep then nor breakfast* due to power outage. That was nature they had no control over this, but they did have control over my second stay. June 2013-read as Follows. Second stay here-Was unable to rest with the running by kids in the hallways and loud noises from the room over my head. Oh yea lets not forget the noise from the room next to mine. I was in room — — — 3rd floor. Friday they said they would change my room but no one was at the desk, again each night I came in there was no one at the front desk I was told I should have tap the bell at the desk that someone is always there, but you just cant see them. So my room was finally changed late Saturday night to room fourth floor. They held a tournament in the vicinity, therefore they had alot of children there, of various ages. I spoke with the Manager and front desk Reps on Friday morning and also on Saturday morning about my discomfort. I informed them I spoke to the young lady on the phone when I was on the Hwy in route to NC. I stated I didn't want to be near the elevator and I prefer to be in a room towards the end of the hallway with the least amount of traffic. I came to NC for business, I made the reservation over the phone directly with their rep in Kannapolis NC. They given me credit for only one night according to my receipt. When I got home the credit never showed up into my account. I called and spoke to the same girl who checked me into the Hotel and disregarded my request on or by Thursday 6/27/13. She Informed me that she would have the manager to call me the next day around 6/28/13. I never heard from anyone from this Hotel. I also contacted their main number and spoke to their Rep in reference to my stay and my joining their club for points, that I was given to separate accounts — which he corrected this issue over the phone. He then informed me someone from the Hotel in kannapoliswill be contacting me in a few days, I never heard from any of them. So, Yes I've made a few attempts to resolve this refund problem. I'm now requesting refund for both Days — Thursday 6/20/13 and Friday 6/21/13 refund if possible, due to their lack of consideration for me as a customer. No effort was made until Saturday after several complaints was made to change my room. I had to check out on Sunday and check into another Hotel in Concord, NC. In order to get some sleep before getting on the Hwy to my destination. They didn't want to give me a refund, nor credit for another two nights stay in the future for my inconvenience and sleepless nights. What A Place — is Nice, Clean and family Oriented But Poor Management! Remember Kids will be Kids I have no problem with that. Just a problem with the Hotel not informing the guest of an occasion or telling parents to calm down their children by a certain time. Thank You.
