Upon check-in, the front desk staff member Sonia was absolutely positively amazing! Gave us many recommendations for the area and was so very thorough about the $250 hold on my debit card and just made me feel very comfortable. My friend and I selected the "room chosen at check-in" option on Booking. Com and she immediately asked if we wanted two beds. The corner room on the 24th floor had 2 windows and loved the views of downtown Manhatten. If you're taking the Subway, use the 1 line to Rector Street and the station is less than 1 block away.

The location of this hotel is amazing! I’ve been staying here for 2 years when I’m on layover and I’m always so happy to be here. And the staff are so lovely and welcoming!

Very helpful staff. Lady at the reception (Nicole) was extremely nice. Upon arrival she upgraded us to the 47th floor room with river view. Nice location with lots of attractions around. You always have quick food option, just down the hotel.

The only decent thing about this hotel is the location. Very close to subways etc. Luckily we didn’t go to New York to sit in a room. Rooms are small and very dark and dingy even with all of the lighting on. I don’t think the room was vacuumed once during our stay. Air conditioning is very very noisy and comes on through the night and disturbs your sleep. Bathrooms are tiny but functional. The lifts are a joke. Usually full of staff going from one floor to another or one lift out of action altogether for moving laundry. The biggest disappointment for us was the fact that on the morning of our departure we accidentally spilled half a cup of coffee on the bed. Unfortunately some of it managed to get through to the mattress. We left a note in the room along with a small tip explaining this having removed the linens from the bed. Several days later my daughter noticed her bank account was almost £1000 short. We contacted the hotel several times and got no reply then when we call the complaints team in uk we were told it was for damage to the room. (The bedding) it was supposed to have been £467.06 but nearly double that was held and still hasn’t been paid back. No one notified us if this charge before it was taken and apparently the Mr Riley the general manger said that the hotel is within their rights to do this as at check in you sign for incidentals.

Clean, reasonably priced, great location!

We stayed 2 weeks in this hotel in July 2015 … and we have renewed our experience 2 weeks in January 2018. We travelled with our little boy of 2 years. This hotel has a few shortcomings that we had identified in 2015 but which have not prevented that we go back 2 years and a half later. …
— 3 elevators for 50 floors … this is not enough, and the rush-hour this can be very long! — the sink of the bathroom is tiny
— the aircon/heating is very noisy. — for this stay (2018) we had asked for a cot, but they did have iron beds with bars with a mattress a little thick : only valid for babies … my son was too big and too heavy for this kind of bed. And so he slept in the king size with us :)

+ conveniently located with points of interest in close proximity to feet (ground zero, battery park, wall street, south ferry, Brooklyn bridge …)
The metro is at 50 m, another line 2 blocks without counting the stations that you find in the places mentioned above. + on-site restaurant, free meals for kids, very good food … can be very handy! Very nice staff! + bedding spotless and housekeeping very nice
+ benefits appreciable to make life easier : possibility to leave the luggage the day of Check-out, chauffeur service to airport (hardly more expensive than a taxi). But the ++++++ and the best for the end, what are the cute girls in the front desk!

Courteous and professional staff. The only problem with this hotel (and it was a big problem) is that during our stay, there were 2 small elevators for about 450 rooms spread out over 50 floors. It took FOREVER for room service to deliver a crib for our baby. Arriving and leaving the hotel usually took about 15 minutes, most of that time was spent waiting for an open elevator, wondering if it would be faster and more convenient to go up 30 flights of stairs to get to our room.

On the whole, everything was quite good. The bed was big. The bathroom rather small. I had food brought to my room from time to time, usually rather brisk and also very tasty. Fitness Studio very small and loveless that you don't want to stay there for long. But for a trip to New York, it's enough.

Really a great hotel in Manhattan, the property is new and equipped with all the comforts (they kept our suitcases on the last day in their own storage) bars and restaurants in the area if they find a lot, all metro less than 5/10 minutes walk. Also within walking distance is the 9/11 memorial, Battery Park from where you reach the Statue of Liberty, and Wall Street with the famous Taurus, in short I recommend much.

The air conditioning is very noisy not efficient, it starts to chill in the middle of the night at regular intervals despite having it turned off.

We didn't, as all the Holiday Inn is a sea port, chaotic and with elevators going once you and a No. Noisy and with very small rooms. Fan that at night does not make you close eye (and you can not turn off). I don't recommend. With the same price you can go elsewhere.

Maid who comes to knock at the door at 9am and the reception that asks $20 for a microwave so I can warm a dish for 2 minutes very badly isolated, the door of our room does not close completely so there is a lot of air flow. Really anything for the price you pay.

Being assigned a room on the third floor as the staff says higher floor rooms requires upgrade and wanted to charge me extra. Uh… Seriously?! Anyway. Is a blessing in disguise since the lift took forever to come. Ended up taking the stairs. Air-conditioning fan noise is super loud. With no option to turn it down. The only speed selection is fan on or fan auto. Which does nothing to reduce fan speed. No breakfast. But is fine since there are lots of food options… Not a place to stay for long. One or two days is fine…

Booked this hotel via Bukit a few weeks before the trip, the hotel sent a confirmation and I quietly flew with my daughter for the first time to New York. After 15 hours of flight and 2 hours in the taxi came to the hotel where I was told they are very apologetic but will not be able to check us in with the baby because they have no seats. Does their apology mean something to me after such a long flight with a child? I was forced to look for another hotel at night in an unfamiliar country. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. Not offered elementary coffee and a glass of water and help in finding a hotel. I have always stayed in hotels of this network, but now threw their card and never advise anyone.

Very nice hotel of 49 floors 3 lifts subway station next door and not far from Battery Park starting place for the visit of the statue of liberty.

Rooms are cozy and to the point at this no frills hotel. Elevator is as slow as molasses. There's an odd huge column right at the lobby reception which makes you unsure who exactly is next in line to talk to the front desk. The sinks are too tiny in my opinion and mine was slow to drain. Despite all this I would not hesitate staying here again.

I've stayed here numerous times and have nothing but great things to say. It's close to parking when we drive and leave our car. Close to subway lines. Great bar across the street. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Rooms were great.

3.5 stars rounded up to 4 because of the great front desk staff. Had a single queen room and the bathroom was absolutely tiny. Like barely enough room to even turn around in a circle. Nice room amenities, though (desk, stool, closet, coat hooks by the door). But there was this motion detector mounted directly over the bed on the ceiling that would light up red any time movement was detected, even just rolling over in bed. Really creepy and annoying in a dark room. Location was great but I wouldn't choose this hotel again if staying more than one night.

Not get to experience those services, I just got of last, accompanying those who in truth reserved.

Great hotel for the price and location. Easy access to subway lines and walking distance to all lower Manhattan attractions. Only downside was the elevators, we opted to take the stairs frequently instead of waiting. Showers would also not maintain temperature, would go scorching hot then cold. Overall good hotel. Parking for offloading was simple and the overnight parking off site was easy to get to.

A good hotel to stay in Manhattan. Very close to the line 1, 4, 5, 6 and R, W and a little further the A. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. Very clean. The staff very friendly and attentive. I have removed a star because the hotel has 50 floors and only 3 elevators. In peak hours of check-out / check-in / transit can take a long time (15 min) you get a lift in the remaining space.

The location of the hotel is the most convenient to visit the famous tourist spots in the Downtown. Tourist attractions like raging bull, 9/11 memorial, ferry to Statue of Liberty are at walking distance. You can also take a walk on the Broadway street and binge food at the street food carts. The rooms are clean and tidy but the room we got felt a little small. But to get a room at such a convenient location is worth the trade off for the size. The staff is friendly and accommodated our request for a room at the higher floor. They allocated the top most room to us. Usually the rooms are not available for early arrival but they offered us a room at a lower floor when we arrived earlier than the check in time. We decided to not take it. They offered to hold our luggage while we took a stroll outside exploring the surroundings. Overall very well located, friendly staff, neat and maintained rooms and very competitive pricing. Worth it.

We were on floor 44 directly overlooking ground zero. The views from the room were spectacular especially at night. Lovely room/bathroom no complaints about that at all. The staff are lovely booking cars for us and being very helpful. St. George tavern which is attached is great for breakfast /dinner also with amazing staff. Would highly recommend both to anyone.

Extremely nice hotel, great price and a decent location. The concierge was not helpful or friendly at all. If you want to be close to the Statue of Liberty (Battery Park), the 9/11 Memorial, Trinity Church or Wall Street, it's the perfect location. Otherwise it is pretty far from everything. There are a few restaurants nearby, which was nice. Overall great hotel for the price, but if you want an attentive staff and walkable location, it's not for you.

This close is really close to the 9/11 memorial but much more affordable on the rates and parking. Rooms were nice and clean. A bit small but can assume it's because of NYC. Has a nice little restaurant St George Tavern downstairs. Guess the elevators are the real problem here. Though very quick, there is just three of them for a 50 floor hotel and we always end up waiting a good 10 minutes.

Great hotel, provided us with a room on the top floor with a great view over NYC. Rooms are small, but not as bad as some NYC hotels and are very clean and modern. The staff were helpful and room service was prompt. Parking was what I would expect in NYC and was a couple of blocks from the hotel. The only issue we really had was the elevators were slow sometimes… They could have used one elevator which was an express to the higher floors. Far surpassed by expectations for the cost.

We did get a room up high as requested. The rooms are small but clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly. Closer reduced price parking would be a plus. Very close to 911 memorial, 3 minute walk.

The rooms were small but nice. We asked for a higher level room with a view and they were accommodating. The in room amenities were not that great, no fridges in the room and also the shampoo and conditioner were tiny. Also when calling on the phone to confirm it was very difficult to understand the front desk person. The concierge had trouble relaying subway directions. Very happy with the location as it is a three minute walk to the 9/11 Memorial. Closer, cheaper parking would be helpful.

Great customer service. Rooms were clean. Although the hotel recommends changing sheets per guest, we requested sheets changed daily for our week long stay. They fulfilled our request without hesitation. My room was on the 34th floor. View was ok. I saw other tall buildings, but what can I expect? It's New York. Perfect location to the stock market & financial district. Tv is a good size. Small desk if you need to work. One closet & two drawer for storage. I would definitely come back. Great Clinton Hall lounge across the street for fun night life. Will come back & I recommend you to try out this hotel.

Wi-Fi wasn't working. When I went to take a shower at 4am, no hot water. When I told the attendant he told me to let the water run in the sink and if it still didn't heat up to call. Of course I had to call. I gave up after a half hour and went to sleep dirty after a night of partying. Very disappointing for the amount of money I paid. I would not stay there again.

Were here for 5 days in NYC-exploring and with the Hotel totally satisfied. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and with all Necessary equipped. The location of the hotel is great — in the middle of the financial district, and around it there are some shopping possibilities for the small Hunger. The next metro-Station is 3 min. From the Hotel. From the room in the 25. Floor has canyons, a super view of the houses around. Luxury you can price at the very cheap accommodations, of course, not expect. The Hotel holds but in any case, what it promises online.

My wife and I stayed for a long weekend in the Hotel. Upon arrival, we were received very friendly by the hotel staff and a staff member at the front Desk about the peculiarities and possibilities of the hotel is its security. The check in went completely smoothly and quickly. At the same time, you had immediately a good Overview of where to find what in the Hotel. We also got a room with some sea views in 45. Floor in the direction of the South (Battery Park / ferry to statue of liberty). The sea view was blocked by other high buildings in the surroundings. The standard room is small (incl. Small double beds) but still ok, The bathroom is very small and only for one Person at a time. Here is an Upgrade is recommended, possibly what also promises to be mostly a slightly better view of the Hudson River. Otherwise, the room upon arrival was very clean which was confirmed in the following days. We found the room quite noisy and could the incoming (and possibly slightly drunken) guests in the night, unfortunately, pretty good to hear. The Wi-Fi in the room was free and also satisfactory quickly. In the Hotel itself, there is directly below near the front Desk, a Bar and a Restaurant serves classic American dishes, as well as to drink a small Cafeteria with snacks and food. In addition, there is a Chinese Restaurant in one of the floors above it. The location of the hotel could hardly be better. — Distance to the ferry in the direction of the statue of liberty less than 5 Min.

If you want to stay very close to Memorial and the statue of liberty, and is a good choice. Both are within walking distance, you can rent a bike or walk along the Hudson River, through the Battery Park to the statue of liberty. Statten ships free with 3 minutes to photograph the statue of liberty, if you missed it, on the way back up.

I was with my family for 12 days in July 2015, small rooms but very comfortable and a very good service, the staff are too attentive to the needs that we had and talking about the languages of Spanish and English for better attention, good location and near a subway station pretty quiet, with very good bar. I highly recommend it.

I finished an 8 day stay here and could not wait to get out. I cannot recall ever hating being somewhere on business as much as this place. Granted the rooms were clean (small) and the staff was courteous and professional. (aside from the bartender in the attached restaurant), this place is not designed for long term stays in NYC, unless you like being with rowdy college kids, and rude pushy tourist. The elevator situation is the worst, how many times I came in after a long day of work and see 30 plus people standing in the lobby waiting for an elevator. It could take 10 minutes, as we also shared this time with the staff and their switching out laundry, It got so bad that once I got to my room I did not want to leave and deal with all the mayhem and the idiots having to cram into an elevator with. The late time noise and doors slamming all hours of the nite just about pushed me over the edge. I can go on and on, but I will not be revisiting on my next travels, nor recommend to co-workers/company as a suitable hotel on our travels.

I stayed here for a weekend getaway recently. The rooms are very small but clean. You have to crawl across the bed to get to either side of the room. Probably not a good place to stay if you're looking for fun things to do that are close. The bar/restaurant located in the hotel could use better service. The bar maid, Ce Ce, was extremely unprofessional in her attempt to be "friendly" with her conversation. When the bill came and I paid with my credit card, she looked at the receipt, interrupted my conversation with my friend while we were finishing our drinks, and said "Excuse me… excuse me, you didn't leave me a tip; is something wrong? " Completely baffled by her boldness in begging, I couldn't think of anything to say that didn't involve profanity. Finally I just said, "I WAAAAS going to tip you with cash but that's not happening" My friend tipped her and we left. She definitely needs to be reprimanded for that. I read a review below of someone who had a similar experience.

Very clean and tidy. Very quick and efficient check in, room was larger than expected after hearing stories of tiny rooms. Large comfy bed, TV, tea/coffee maker, iron and ironing board, safe, room service, and USB chargers. Yes, there are "only" three lifts, but they are very fast, the longest we had to wait was 5 minutes at most. Would definitely stay here again.

Starting by the excellent service of reception especially Yendi Solano, a girl from venezuela who greeted us always smiling and very efficient as were all the staff, the hotel is well located in the Wall Street area, near the bridges Brookling, Who, of the Statue of liberty, surrounded by restaurants, shops, super, next to the metro, and close to the World Trade Center, and Memorial, the rooms are comfortable, simple, Wi-Fi, good bathroom, good views, 52 floors, lift fast x excellent bar and Restaurant, with good food preparation
Small fitness room, full breakfasts, affordable prices, a 4-star seem 5, it is not so spacious, but it meets all of the amenities, we were a week from the 31st of Dec ak 7 January, would be happy for their friendliness, speed, attention, comfort, 100% recommended! Great hotel. Very nice, clean, great rooms and very nice staff. Negative reviews must be from competing hotels. One says long wait for elevators because of 50 floors. Only 18 floors in the hotel. Had to park 2 blocks away is also untrue. They validate for parking garage next door. Room and bathroom was large. 4 people could be in the shower at the same time. Not jokinh. Great lighting system. Everything is automated bedside including blinds for very large 10 foot picture window. Complimentary Coffee available all day in lobby and wine served for happy hour. Gym is not huge but has bottled waters and towels. It's a fun atmosphere in a great location. Great restaurants (Harrys and Delmonicos) and bars (Stone St has 10+) all within 2 blocks. Or take a run along the water also within 2 blocks.

Location is perfectly located by wall street and the world trade center. Subways nearby make it easy to head uptown. The rooms are a bit small, especially the bathroom, but it was fine. Service was excellent, and we had free Wi-Fi service being an IHG member, so do sign up for free!

The views were fantastic from the 39th floor. The front desk was accommodating to any request. It is located around the corner from a nice little breakfast place called George's. It is also around the corner from the red line (1, 2, and 3 lines), for the subway. This made it easy to get to Midtown in about 15 minutes with no hassle. And it is about a 15 minute walk to the South Street Seaport. So that's nice. The only issue we had was that when we booked our car for the airport, we were clear that we would be paying with credit. When we got to the airport the driver told us he could not take credit. This was frustrating because the front desk had told us that he would. As it turns out, they forgot to communicate that info to the car company, so that they would send a car capable of accepting credit. Long story, short: we were lucky we had a bit of cash and he took less than he was supposed to. Dad for the driver but luck for us. That story aside. It was good.

I had good time with my girl friend at the Holiday INN. The food I ordered from the restaurant downstairs was good, salmon sandwich, fries, and the wasabi sauce was potent. The room was nice, especially the bathroom, kind of small, but I am 6'4. I had to go upstairs one flight for some ice, not a big deal. Staff was very cool and friendly. The beer spot is right across the street, outside, heated lamps, games and miniature golf. My girl and I are going back to the Holiday INN to celebrate her birthday on Nov, 18th 2015 and it's easy for me to hop on the one train for work in 15 minutes. Looking forward to my upcoming stay at the Holiday INN. There is a little wait for the elevator, what you expect when you have a lot of people staying at the hotel, didn't bother my girl and I at all.

The hotel is fine but the restraunt attached with the free cocktail is awful. I went there for dinner: the duck was disgusting, but service was even worse. The waitress was very unfriendly, had a slight attitude. She was having s conversation with the manager about dating Cuban men and ignoring her customers. I sent the duck back and she didn't even ask me how the food was or if I needed anything. I paid for my meal without eating it only because I wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. My drink sat empty for at least five minutes. She was also on her cell phone numerous times. When I asked for my check she brought it and I handed her my credit card and before taking it and running it she went back on her phone to answer a text. I left s three dollar tip which I would never do on. A $50.00 bill but she was awful but she had the nerve to make s comment about the tip.

Make sure to not cancel your visit or you will be charged with a cancelation fee. So unless you want to get charged for a night plus tax (which you are not going to enjoy) don't make business with this hotel. They don't care what your reason is… $303 down the drain and Hours of hard work too. Apparently money is easy to get with all Holiday Inn's. I believe that they should at least have some sympathy and not just steal your money.

In general it's okay. But the room was extremely tinyv along with the bathroom and beds. You couldn't really stand up in the room. The shower took an hour to drain because it was clogged… Gross. And the staff didn't speak plain English, which made it difficult to communicate.

Stayed here 7 nights. At check-in I had to wait almost 10 Minutes until the staff finished some phonecalls. Room was located on the 6th floor. First impression — for that much money to less room! Small closet with not much room for your clothes. No room in the bathroom where you can put your toothbrush. One morning at around 11 am — roomservice placed a note that they respect my privacy and if I need roomservice call a specific number. Another day there was no roomservice when I came back to the room at sometime around 3.30 pm (that day I left the room at 8 am). The A/C is located at the roomwindow and is very loud. Goes on and of during the night — if you have a light sleep you have no chance to sleep a whole night. Every morning I was waked up by the smells of the exhausts of the kitchen located somewhere below my room. Only three lifts for 50 Floors make you wait too long to get to your floor. If you call a lift to go down, lifts going up stop at your floor, which is very annoying. Keycards didn't work twice during that stay. Bottom-Line: Never again Holiday Inn.

Very clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Elevator use is not the buisness, small and be prepared to wait 2 or 3 elevators and squeeze in like sardines at times. Other than that everything you need is within walking distance. Subways, bars, food, mini market, etc.

Although a new hotel (perhaps refurbished? ), who would have designed it with so little elevator capacity? Three elevators are in use by guests AND staff who frequently commandeer one lift to move sheets and other hotel-supporting equipment around the hotel, leaving just two elevators to server the entire hotel. There are plenty of other good hotels very local to this one in the same price range. The rooms are small compared to others in the area, but are generally modern with good TVs and fast Wi-Fi. The aircon is locally in each room, so can be noisy. Staying on the upper floors on one occasion, the room filled with cigarette smoke which the staff were not able to isolate, although they did move me to another room which didn't have it in it.

Room was sized very nicely, especially for NYC. Room was very modern with USB charging outlets, good Wi-Fi, and a nice flat screen TV.

This place is amassing, the front desk staff are professional but kind and helpful, the managers because they have different managers supervisors and they all treat you very nice, they try to help you and rooms are incredible clean, the pillow and the bed are amassing like a 5 star hotel. I spent a week in this place and they treat me like home. The restaurant is a great atmosphere and great food. They have computers and printer for you to use and wi fi everywhere, coffee in your room.

Just arrived here. Love the King Size Bedroom on the 19th floor. Though not happy that we cannot get a room with views of the Statue of Liberty as requested. Though we can see One World Trade Centre.

Hotel was great and a nice place. There was a burst pipe which caused the place to be evacuated. Not really their fault, but I found I'd still been charged the full amount after being told the night was on them.

This Holiday Inn is so far the best I ever stayed in. It's brand new and it look fabulous. From the first moment I stepped into the lobby I felt like home. The front desk staff is amazing, professional, helpful and very friendly. The lobby look amazing and it is different then what I seen before in any other Holiday Inn. Everything is very clean. My room was spacious with a nice view and it was the cleanest I ever stayed in. Thank you to the tallest Holiday Inn. I will be back.

12/22/14 December 14 years were in this hotel! All good except a small number have been on 16 floor Windows on the building from morning hollow! Had to ask bathroom amenities (because their was no room)! Friendly staff! The price is good.

The only problem we had was the elevators. The hotel has 50 floors and three elevators so coming down at a peak time is extremely slow, with already-full elevators stopping every few floors to disappoint the people waiting. There should at least be a mechanism to indicate that the elevator is full so it can go to the ground floor, empty quickly, and be available to transport more people. Otherwise, the hotel was fine. The room was a tight but not exceptionally for a Manhattan hotel room. Things were clean and modern.
