Good location, clean and welcoming.

Amazing place. Rooms are huge and beds are so comfy. Breakfast has a huge range. Towels were changed every day. Staff are so friendly. Made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped into the place. Def booking to go back again.

We have recently stayed here 29 Nov — 3 Dec in suite 2B and could not have been happier at our choice of hotels. This is truly a diamond in the rough. From the staff to the rooms, amenities and proximimty to all major attractions in New York, we could not have gotten better. The breakfast choice is amazing; waffles, muffins, pastries, eggs, ham, yoghurts, jams etc. Fruit and many choices of drinks. There was coffee available 24 hours a day for free. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with a sofa pull out bed and they gave us an extra bed which fitted comfortably in one of the rooms with a double bed. The rooms were cleaned daily and a newspaper was also provided daily at your door. Toiletries were replenished when required. We were 10 minutes away from Fifth Avenue & Rockerfeller Centre & 20 minutes from Time Square & Central Park. You made our New York experience what it was & we can never thank you enough. When we come back, we will be staying again.

The best place to stay in New York! Robert and his team went out of their way to make our stay truly memorable. The rooms are clean, spacious and have a true New York feel. It is in a perfect location, quiet but so central to get everywhere. Breakfast is yummy and the staff are super nice. Do yourself a favour and don't stay anywhere else.

The service was professional and outstanding. The large, updated, clean unit was a wonderful family setting for an affordable price. We stayed cool on the hottest of NY days. Having a breakfast buffet is always a plus, but not common in New York. It was nice to be able to "eat in" with the variety of needs for our family. Enjoyed the residential neighborhood with a good grocery store close by, yet were able to walk to many attractions. Have also had this experience in a Best Western in downtown Victoria, Canada.

Just had an amazing 5 days in New York. Stayed at The Best Western Hospitality Plus on 49th Street. Hotel was in a good spot and met all our needs, loved the fact it had a fully equipped kitchen which we used to store drinks and food and also make snacks. Having a basic breakfast included was also a bonus. The hotel itself could benefit from an update, the air con was very noisy and some of the plug sockets were a little loose. Also there was a very noisy building site next door. The staff were absolutely brilliant and couldn't do enough to help us, whether answering questions, giving advice about attractions or generally just being super friendly. Overall the 4 star rating is for the building, if it were just for the staff it would be a 5 star plus!

We loved the size of the one bedroom apartment here. It was great to have a separate kitchen and good sized living room, in addition to the generous bedroom. The location on 49th and Lexington was perfect for walking to Times Square and Central Park and so many other attractions and the employees were super helpful and friendly. There were no views, but we didn't expect any and it was a small price to pay for the comfort and convenience of the apartment. We would definitely recommend it to anyone travelling with a family and/or for more than one night and we would stay there again without hesitation.

Great breakfast, spacious room.

Stayed in 2016 & loved it! Hard to find big spacious apartments in New York but this was big & roomy. We had a 2 bedroom apartment on the 9th floor. Staff were lovely, breakfast was great. Perfect 1st trip to NY & would not even look at other hotels as it ticked all the boxes.

Basic but good for a place to crash. Not renovated for a long time, with air conditioning unit hanging out the window New York style! Be warned the 2 bedroom apartments only have 1 shared bathroom, no ensuite bathrooms, so if lots of people staying, be prepared to share. It does the job!

Great hotel, good breakfast and nicely sized rooms. Would love to come again in July, for weekend vacation, but not sure if suitable/allowed for a group of 10 guys. Will have to call to find out.

Was concerned about the entrance to the hotel, but all of our concerns were blown away by the high standard of rooms and the magnificent staff and management. Honestly, this was a remarkable experience and fingers crossed it won't be too long before we can get back… Respect to this remarkable and well run establishment… Guys you are awesome. ❤️

Great find in Manhattan! Close to 6 train, so easy access everywhere. I had the penthouse suite — — awesome apartment with full kitchen. Great bed, fine breakfast included. I was only there one night — — had I known about this place I would have spent more nights. I'll be back.

Beautiful Hotel. Very spacious rooms with all the necessary amenities. With breakfast included, very important. The location is excellent. 100 over the subway. A few blocks from Rockefeller and Times Square.

The Best Western Hospitality House is in a perfect location in Midtown. Our room (suite) was beautiful, and quiet. The quality of the breakfast was excellent: fresh pastries and good quality hot and cold food that was way above a standard hotel breakfast. The hotel was very clean, and the staff could not have been more helpful. We were greeted personally on two occasions by the General Manager who asked after our needs and genuinely seemed to care that we were satisfied with our experience at the hotel. We will definitely return to this property, and even though we were in New York on the coldest nights of the year, we had nothing but good experiences because the hotel was a warm and comfortable haven.

I was hesitant the write something about this property, and thus I waited a few days before doing this review. As a Diamond Rewards member I was under the assumption that you should always be rewarded for your loyalty. I was taken great care of back home in Los Angeles at the Best Western Plus in San Pedro, and I felt like a King being there, and staying with the staff. My stay at this location in New York I felt like a pauper, and I actually still feel bad about my experience there. The single overbearing factor for these comments was that I was given a room the size of a tuna can, when had I have known that was all that was available I would have gladly paid for a larger room or went elsewhere, but I never had that opportunity. I'm not going to rant negatively about the experience, but I believe that as a loyal person to this brand I should have at least been told in advance that the room I was given is the one that they use for rewards members. This is supposed to be a reward for your loyalty, but I felt like a nuisance who had to be given something because of his loyalty, and there is a large difference between the two. Other than that my holiday experience was great, and NYC was amazing, I look forward to returning soon. I will be extremely careful when I book again, and as this year begins I will also look into other rewards programs with other hotel chains as well, thank you.

Great value for the money great location, clean apartment, wonderful breakfast!

This hotel offers a lot of space for a NYC hotel. Stayed in the two bedroom apartment. However, this is an older hotel and has not been updated in awhile. The decor is older as well. The kitchen is also older and may not be suitable for cooking meals. But as far as NYC hotels, it offers a great location.

Our Aussie family of five had the pleasure of an extended stay at this hotel (18 nights) and loved every moment of it. The location, the rooms, the complimentary breakfast and above all, the brilliant staff are what made our New York experience an unforgettable one. Everyone of the Manager's (Robert's) team really go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and special. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Hotel to anyone looking to stay in Mid Town Manhattan and will definitely be returning there again.

Just leaving know after having a great stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the apartment we had was bigger than I expected with good Wi-Fi! The breakfast included saved money but the space in the dining room was a bit squashed which is the only downside I can say. Overall a good place to stay.

Great hotel, great location midtown, a few blocks from Times Square but that's good, it keeps the noise down. It has suites and they are really nice, everything is new. I'd live there if I could!

Great hotel. Huge room by NYC standards (in fact it would have been big anywhere). Nice complimentary breakfast and internet. Kitchen was fully equipped, to the point of finding salt, pepper, sugar, ketchup, etc already there. Can't beat the value-price combination!

Little dated, but a nice location. One elevator can make you wait a little and the hallways are small, old, and hot in the summer. Staff was nice and I received a free upgrade, so I did enjoy my experience.

We booked this Best Western last minute for a 3 night stay. We were so glad that we did! We were pleasantly surprised up arrival with an upgrade to the Penthouse. The room was spacious, extremely clean, and had a full wrap around balcony. The breakfast, offered each morning, was a great way to start our day. I was a little concerned about the construction mentioned in other reviews but we had no issues with construction noise at all. The only time we heard it was when we opted to eat our breakfast on the outdoor patio of the breakfast area. Every employee that we encountered from check in, to maintenance, to bellhop was extremely friendly and helpful. They were genuine in their concern to meet all of our needs. Their service and attitude was some of the best we have experienced. They represent Best Western well. Hats off to this New York home away from home!

The doormen at night were fabulous! On arrival at night due to bad weather he gave us something to eat and on departure at night they provided the breakfast bag! Kind!

Residence very well located at the heart of agent. Very clean. Staff nice and attentive to all our needs.

Great value for our family of 6. Our room was a two-bedroom suite with a pull-out sofa giving every member of our family a bed … and all of us in one room instead of the usual 2. The large living area was comfortable for relaxing when we needed some-down time, and I appreciated the space to prepare and eat light meals. Great mid-town location. Fresh baked goods at breakfast were a plus.

Stayed for 12 nights. 1st to 13th April 2017. Excellent place. Lovely clean rooms. Highly recommend. Local for bus and subway.

Hotel equipped with apartments with kitchen very convenient for its location, close to 2 metro stations is also next to several places of interest in the city.
The hotel offers a full American breakfast, maid service in the daily room.
Our apartment consisted of kitchen, living room with sofa bed, double bedroom and bathroom.
Place on the top floor of 9 we never had any noise problems despite a major construction site right next door.
A choice that for the medium/long stay is still winning both for the economic aspect and for the point of support that goes beyond the simple hotel room.
I conclude with a very positive note for the staff always very helpful and friendly.

Very spacious, but a bit noisy.

The front desk staff was very helpful. Our room had a queen size bed in a long, narrow room. Not the most comfortable experience. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest one but more or less acceptable. All in all an ok experience.

Horrendous I cant believe our stay was that terrible I paid for a "top quality pent house suite" and it was almost as bad as staying inside of a hospus in England next time I come I will be staying in a Hampton inn.

This place is horrible. Customer service is horrible. Do not stay here! If you want to be treated like you are in prison then by all means! NEVER AGAIN!

Excellent location, well equipped apartments, very clean and good breakfast.

Have stayed hotels, motels, self catering, but never stayed in a hotel like this one. The first room we went into, couldn't swing a cat, it had a bath the size of a sink, broken furniture and poor deco. We paid for an upgrade which was only slightly better. We are returning to New York this year, staying in the same area, but definitely not this hotel. The only good thing going for it, was Hurley, s bar next door, where we could get drunk before returning to our slightly better upgraded room. We stayed September 2013, hopefully things have improved…

Large suite with everything you need. Very clean, very good full breakfast. Even the coffee tastes. Nice, helpful staff. Great location, it is quickly on the subway and it has many good restaurant nearby. Excellent as a starting point for shopping trips.
We like to come back. Very much recommended.

This hotel is quaint, welcoming, and charming. Our apt was well appointed, clean with lots of space, Making us feel at home … They welcomed us with complimentary water and snacks. Our experience was perfect …

We lost our home in Long Beach, NY — — We have a baby and an ENglish Bulldog and we have been living in hotel rooms and dropping thousands when we need to be spending this money on rebuying all the stuff our 1 year old doesn't have anymore. Strollers, crib. Ect ect When we got the news that FEMA would pay for our hotel until the 16th, we were of course so grateful. We called Best Western and the guy asked if I was FEMA when I said yes, he told me he no longer had rooms. He was so rude to me. I got online to book and I see they actually do have rooms so I call back. When I informed him of this, he replyed that he had taken enough FEMA victims in and then hung up. I was in tears. We have lost everything and I couldn't believe how cruel someone could be. Could you imagine if it was the other way around how he would feel? I am so disgusted and sick at how cruel people are. Thanks so much Best Western for your compassion and help in a time of need.

Very well placed, concept of apartments well with children but a little just for some benefits (plastic plates for breakfast eg. )

From our arrival we were well accueuillis by "Jo" who has on hand all the useful information to French travelers travelling to New York and he proposes first what our predecessors have chosen.
