Liked the staff services and the bed, specially the big one. The hotel is friendly and it offers a nice breakfast until 10am. The only thing I missed was a room service for nights I was tires to go out to have a dinner or a tea before bed. Bathrooms were excelente, loved the shower and the cosmectics and towels they provide. There was an issue with my key card and I’ve had to ask for they recharge my door battery, but that’s all. In general was a nice experience and I’d come back.

This Hotel is an entire vibe! Extremely nice and helpful staff, food and happy hour is amazing! Can’t wait to come back!

The worst hotel. Rooms are small and noisy. Staff unhelpful. They are more about chatting with each other then clients. The elevator doors closed on me! Good thing I am not a small child. Not close to Time Square. The neighborhood is a little sketchy at night. The. At lounge chairs have stuffing come out of them. Service in the lounge is non existing!

It’s day 1 of our 3 night stay and this place not only has an ADORABLE atmosphere, the staff has been nothing short of friendly and kind. We are here to celebrate my daughter’s 17th birthday. All I did was mention the nature of our visit when I booked our stay and they went the extra mile with some cute decorations and a sweet note on the mirror to make it a little more special❤️. Thank you, moxy nyc times square!

The customer service was top notch. The aesthetic was amazing. The room was comfortable and a good use of the space. The luggage room needs some organizational thought though. Overall, it was a great stay.

This place is loud and the people it attracts is funny. Our first night there a lady downstairs got arrested for punching an elevator. It was noisy all night and stopped maybe 5am. The room is small and a double isn’t a double bed it’s one bed.

I would highly recommend this hotel, staff lovely and friendly, bar has a great atmosphere and has a great DJ……

Very good location and different designs.

I had a great experience. The hotel is very modern very few furniture mostly designed like Ikea furniture. It's clean it smells great. You must provide your covid vaccine to get in. Dining at the rooftop was extra special because we're able to look at all the tall buildings lit up the evening. The music was pumping I was dancing along with a family member and we had a great time period!
(I must add that it's a little difficult gettit's difficult getting onto the elevator because you have to use your room key, to turn on your TV You have to use your room key as well)

Rooms were great, bar was beautiful. The vibe was amazing. Lots to do for fun.

I started my check-in experience by leaving my I-pad at the front desk. I returned and the staff had already put it up. I was grateful. I love how attentive the staff was. Also very friendly and accommodating. Our suite is clean and modernize.

Stood here 2/24 to 2/28… the hotel is super cute! It was a girls trip so we got the 4 bunk bed room. It worked out perfectly. The room was a decent size for New York. The women staff and the door guy was amazing. The hotel is in a perfect location. Right next to 42nd street, and the Manhattan mall. Transit was just up the street, and getting a cab was easier than expected. We had many food options around which was great. I’m definitely booking again with Moxy. ( (Only downside to this hotel was that the bathrooms are practically see-through. If you’re with your significant other then it’s whatever, but if you’re with just friends it may caused some uncomfortable moments) )

Went there for my birthday last year…
It was wonderful the staff at check in were so nice I checked in late in the night/morning but they were very welcoming, the bar staff not so friendly but I guess it has its clientele…
My room was nice and cozy…
The bed and the pillows I just wanted to take it home with me it was so comfortable…
The duvet plush and warm…

Loved are stay here it was for my daughters 16th birthday present and when we arrived they had balloons and a small gift for her. I cant thank Moxy and all the staff enough for making are stay amazing. Thank you Moxy and all the staff we will be back ❤

LOVE this place! The rooms are on the smaller side but the atmosphere here is amazing. When you pull up and walk in you’d think you were going into a prime nightclub spot but it’s your hotel. I would definitely say this place is more for the younger, laid back guest but if you like music, great drinks and an upbeat vibe then this place is for you! We’ve stayed in the city quite a few times and this place is by far my favorite!

Lovely hotel. Very modern and the location is convenient to everything. Rooms with bunk beds are great for families and groups of friends.

The waitress was amazing. The people around us were very friendly and fun. The view at night is spectacular.

Very centrally located! And yet not directly in Time Square.

We arrived with a reservation with credit card for a 4 bunk room. Room was not available, offered 2 queen rooms. We're to be moved into our reserved room the next morning. We were told our belongings would be moved by staff. We came back at night and our room wasn't ready then we had to move everything ourselves. Today we came back to out room at 8pm after a long hot day to find out room had not been cleaned but the tip we left was gone. Great concept and space, just poor management.

I rarely stayed in such a hip hotel and it was completely in line with what I expect from the Moxy brand. Industry look in the bathroom, storage possibilities under the bed, that was not bad.

Now, unfortunately, the most beautiful hotel is worth little if I sleep badly, and as a couple you sleep here very badly unless you want to hold your arms all night or you like to lean against a wall while sleeping. The air conditioning only knows from or out, why such a thing still has to be today I do not know.

Conclusion: Travelling alone I would stay again in the Queen Bed Room (in case of need you take the available Oropax against the noise of the air conditioning), in pairs I can only advise against it.

What a pity.

The design throughout the hotel is impressive. But it doesn't make the rooms, which areless even two metres wide, bigger either. There is no way to store luggage. The bed is not only too narrow, but also too short. Above the bed is the outlet for the air conditioning, which is far too noisy for it to run all night. The windows and doors are not soundproofed; all in all, everything very audible.

As an elite member you get coins that you can redeem for a glass of champagne at the bar. A nice idea. But because of the above reasons, I wouldn't stay here again.

The room was so small with a tiny double bed that was pushed up against a wall so you had to climb over the other person to get in or out no robe to put clothes in toilet and shower squashed in together no where to put your clothes while showing lift was different to use can’t push numbers from inside they apparently have a rooftop bar which as a paying guest I thought you would be able to walk in any time no have to line up with public no tourist information at night when checking in can’t hear staff over music from 2nd story bar the staff were nice to talk to but really weren’t up with information about New York it more like a up market backpackers as we arrived another guest greeted us by saying welcome to millennium hell.

I stayed 3 times and one needs to be aware of few things — it's not typical hotel for business travelers. Rooms are small, even for one person — almost the size of queen bed, no closets to hang your stuff, some rooms have folding tables, but mostly it's impossible to do any kind of work. The rooms are modern and well-equipped, everything is new — had no issues and everything was working fine, but climate control unit is practically connected to the bed\your head. The worst part is night club — they can go on till 3 AM and it's not just weekends, it's so loud that even on the 5th floor it felt like I was standing next to DJ, if you want to have any sleep — you should ask for a room on another side. City noise is also unbelievable and in my 20 years of travel — this is the one and only place that offers earplugs in every room. Friendly stuff, decent bar and restaurant ($$), reasonable rates and proximity to a lot of places is a huge plus.

New and well appointed hotel with a few inconveniences. Pitched as a millennial hotel because of reduced amenities, I found being a millennial myself that I couldn't do without them. One thing is the room size, if you enjoy Japan you'll love these rooms, while super cozy there's no room to swing a cat, honestly. If you're a couple, you'll need to wake your other half up as you climb over them in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. There's no closet, only a row of hooks to hang everything up and 4 coat hangers, one of which you cannot remove from the wall. There's no space to lay out a suitcase, the only option is to get the bed dirty with your well traveled luggage. There's no ironing board, only a Joy™ steamer, not sure if irons are available, but if they are I recommend doing it in the lobby or hallway, there seems to be space for staff to meditate on the floor so it's probably a safe bet. They'd probably do it for you if you asked politely enough. If you're not a fan of sleeping in front of an AC unit you're out of luck, it's at face level to the side of the bed. The elevators have a learning curve and an instruction manual upon check-in would have been nice. Website pictures that have any space to move around the bed are apparently ADA rooms even though you'd get your head stuck, let alone a wheelchair.

The rooms were beautifully designed, space efficient, and clean. The shower quality was excellent. The bed was comfortable. There were a few nice touches like a welcome drink at bar moxy, free candy in the lobby, and water bottles given liberally. However, the thumping music from the bar made its way to our room every night. No warning given from the front desk for this impossible to ignore problem — they did provide earplugs by the bedside table though. That said, definitely avoid if you're a light sleeper.

Wide range of playful cocktails, though I wish more of them were gin based. The view is pretty decent for a roof top. The carousel seating is a fun touch and makes for great photos. Prices are steep. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely more of a tourist trap than a real New Yorker hangout spot.

NYC is always unique. Hotel 400m from Times Square and close to breakfast and dining places.
Clean rooms but too small so don't expect the queen bed. Looks like the Smurfs room. Young and competent staff.

Flee while it's time! On paper The hotel is top: Deco, ambiance and company, blah blah blah… But big BEMOL, some rooms are under their rooftop. And then there is the drama, impossible to close the eye of the night, even the quies balls are ineffective. The basses are so powerful that the walls vibrate, hell! And of course the manager of the hotel explains to you that it is not possible to change your room because the hotel is complete. Grrrrrrr Thanks MOXY.

We thought the aesthetic of the hotel was great, and the staff very friendly, but superficial prettiness aside. The customer service left us very frustrated and disappointed. We were staying here with a baby that came down with a stomach bug on the third day of our stay, and despite repeated requests, no one came to service our room for hours when we desperately needed it. So we were left to camp out in the lounge, which was blasting really loud music, with a vomit-drenched baby at 8:30pm whilst waiting for someone to finally help us. We eventually requested to be taken to get fresh sheets and half-make the bed ourselves, because our daughter was feeling very unwell and we needed to get her into bed stat. Another source of frustration was that of the 17 floors to choose from, we were allocated a room on the third floor — right above the bar and lounge. The pounding music from said lounge went on till late at night, and was so loud through the floor that I could easily sing along and the bass literally made the bed shake. All well and good for most people, but how is a nine month old expected to sleep through this? The earplugs we were provided didn’t exactly solve our problem. Echoing one of the above comments, definitely not recommended for those with little children!

I loved the location of this hotel. The concept was great, as well. It was intended to be a fun, relaxing environment. There were several things that I didn't like about it, though. First off, our room wasn't available until almost 5:00, so we decided to go up to the roof top bar. We were told to go outside and get in line, which I found to be not right to make people paying $400/night go wait in line. They started to let us up and then told us that we couldn't go up because of our sandals. I understood the logic, since they explained it was a safety issue, until later when I went by and tons of young girls were allowed up with sandals. I really feel like there was age discrimination there and that we weren't allowed up because we didn't fit with the demographinc they were looking for. It wasn't right. I felt really uncomfortable there since the average employee was probably 25. The front desk girl even complained to us about the uniform that they were supposed to wear to create the "sexy" fun vibe. Also, the lack of service was amazing! There was no one to help with parking suggestions, no one to hail a cab, no one to bring an extra pillow, etc. We were told to help ourselves. We had to lug our own bags down to storage and then go lug them up. The room was "micro" and once I got used to it, I did find it to be comfortable. My only issue was that I had no where to sit and had to climb over my husband to get to my side of the bed.

Loved the location of the hotel. Close enough to popular tourist locations and multiple train stops. The room was smaller than usual hotel rooms but great amenities and we enjoyed the restaurants and bars. Good ambience but relatively loud outdoors, but that's the city. I would definitely go back.

Definitely not staying again. When asking specifically about our weekend reservation, we were told that hotel guests had a separate entrance for the rooftop bar (via email so we have this in writing even…) When we asked about finding the line when we arrived on Saturday we were told that we had to wait in the line that was already wrapping around the block! We also requested a quieter room and were denied. Even at 4 floors below the rooftop bar it's impossible to block out the music. Lobby music was also too loud to even get through the check in process without yelling. We then attempted to use the tokens we were given at check in (which we were told was good "one drink at the lobby bar") but were rejected again by the waitress who informed us they were actually only good for their strawberry cocktail. We counted over 15 of these free drink either being sent back, left behind for the bus boy to dump out, or tokens left on tables after trying a friend's drink. If you're trying to make your guests feel welcome with this sick joke, you're doing a HORRIBLE job. The only positive I can muster is that the showers have nice water pressure… That's it…

Wow! What a great hotel… I just got back from staying at this hotel. Couldn't wait to write a good review. It was the best hotel experience I have ever had. I finally found a hotel that was part of my stay and not just some over priced place to just sleep in. The staff was very friendly everything in the hotel is new and works. We really loved the rooms, some reviews said the rooms were small. I disagree 100 percent. Very spacious rooms and you can lay it out any way you like. The rooftop bar and lounges made it easy for friends and family who live in the city to visit you and hang out. We also loved EGGHEAD the breakfast place on the 7th Ave entrance. God willing we will see you again in July! God bless.

A well-placed hotel, a short walk from Time Square, close to the subway lines and the train station. Decoration of industrial type very friendly, which attracted us. The rooms are small and lacking in storage, the bed kingsize just at the width of the room which was to be 2, 20m, as much to say that two suitcases in the little clearance there is no more room to move. The most is the rooftop of the hotel transformed into a disco in the evening. The service is quality, small downside on the breakfast included, very few choices… nothing to do with the classic buffet so for the price as much go a few meters into the many Starbuck's or other ones that are found at every corner.

Great location, wonderful staff, lovely & clean, great place for the younger end, our room was not practical, opened the wardrobe door only to find it was a shower/toilet room, no sink, clothes had to be hung up on clothes hooks around the room, it was a double room but more suitable as a single room, luckily we are a couple but if I was with a friend it wouldn't have suited as no privacy & the sink was in a corner of the bedroom, a very trendy hotel but more suitable for the younger folks.

+ Location Perfect Modern decor-staff useless and incompetent music every night as loud as in nightclub, difficult to sleep very small rooms poor insulation of the Windows average cleanliness, and not a single sweep in the Room in 10 days no kettle for tea and coffee.

It very nice hotel, totally functionally furnished. Times Square is within walking distance. The best thing about the hotel are the nice young people who are incredibly helpful and the chef Christian. Thank you, great stay. Would I book again and again. Thank you.

Just back from 5 nights at Moxy NYC. There was 5 of us staying in 2 rooms and we had a nice view of 7th Ave from room 534 (Double Double room). Having read some reviews of this hotel before I left, I wasn’t holding out much hope. However, I’m glad to say I was very pleasantly surprised. It feels really new, which I know it is. It has modern, contemporary design which we all loved. It also smells amazing in the common areas, I would love to know what scent that is? The rooms are small (It’s New York & space is at a premium, all rooms are small in NY) but well planned out. I loved the hooks for hanging clothes, bags, shopping etc. I loved the in-room tv’s with sound bars for watching music videos on YouTube. They also had Netflix etc for entertainment. I also loved the beds, they were super comfortable & the steamer for removing the creases from my clothes, caused in transit on our flight. The bathroom was fairly spacious and had a window which I loved. Downstairs the candy bar was amazing, lots of American Candy treats each day 3-7pm We slept well each and every night and all of the staff we met were very friendly and polite. They would welcome you when you entered and wish you good bye on leaving, nice touch. I loved the stash on each floor to grab extra pillows, blankets, towels, toiletries, irons etc. Very convenient. The only reason I wouldn’t give 5 stars was 4 simple things. The water pressure in the bathroom was very poor.

Superb location, decoration ultra modern and neat, trendy atmosphere, warm welcome, young, dynamic and attentive. Only downsides, the room was a little small, had no storage and had no tea/coffee.

Went here for New Year Eve 2017 going into 2018. We paid $275 for four hour free bar. They had about 3 bar staff on in each bar and had left in hundreds of people so drinks were impossible. For $275 I had 4 drinks, two of those were taken away by bar staff "accidentally" when tidying up. The coat room was full so we had to carry our coats all night. My friend lost hers! And to top it off the toilets for some stupid reason were unisex and so the queue for that was over 45 minutes long. They didn't televise Times Square as advertised. It pretty much seemed like they did everything they could to cause obstacles to stop you getting to the bar so you didn't get your money's worth. Even queueing for the elevators and when I asked to walk down the stairs I was told no! Absolute chaos of a night for such a reputable establishment. Would not go here again!

Nice place a bit tight however I would not recommend it to families or people not active at night because on the top floor there is loud music until 3, however from 13 floor in Jun you do not hear and if you ask for a room at a low floor the damage.

Great restaurant for an elegant evening.

Very disappointed with the benefits of this hotel which tonight at the top. To start we book by Internet and surprise to arrive, we advertise 300 dollars plus and a bail of 100 which it is charged right away. Room of 12 square meters hardly and really not practical. Good location If I have a advice to give, go see a at the Pennesilvania which is 100 meters right below. Avoid this hotel for the bad surprises. I put more feet there especially at this price.
