This is by far the best place I’ve ever stayed thank you all so very much.

Not bad! Clean room, it even smelled really nice! The pool was fun, temp great for July at night, 8ft at the deep end if you want to know that. The breakfast was good, several choices. Check-in was a little lacking, staff was friendly, but not as efficient … the front lobby was being remodeled… anyway, overall it was a good experience.

We stayed here July 17, 2018. Super friendly staff, super clean room. Breakfast was great, their setup is very sanitary. Everything was fresh. You can tell the staff really cares about your satisfaction. Highly recommend. If you have a problem with stairs, make sure to ask for ground floor. There was no elevator to our second floor room.

Always a stop for me and my coworkers on the way to California or Washington, great Truck parking and plenty of options for food. Love the wash cloth animals that are left on the bed for every visit and it’s always clean and fresh smelling in the rooms. I’m a Best Western Rewards member and a CLC member and I enjoy the rooms with the balcony’s especially the ones that overlook the Truck parking so I can keep an eye on my equipment and also have a great view of the mountain Mesas. The staff is always friendly and helpful and even with the recent construction the the lobby for upgrades the staff was still friendly and helpful and had cookies upon my arrival which I always appreciate. Thanks for the professional friendly affordable clean room.

Good place for the price. Nicer room than most chains. Rooms are MUCH nicer on the inside than they look like from outside the building. Good breakfast, friendly staff. TV could be better, no on screen menu so its hard to find out what's on. Overall it's pretty good and I'd stay there again.

Professional front desk members and very clean accommodations. Pool area was safe and a great place to sit out with family. Although near the highway, you could not hear the traffic, and we were able to get late afternoon breezes. Close to restaurants and grocery. Very family oriented.

Got to town and the hotel I had reserved had no reservation for me. Went to Best Western, they were amazing! Not only did they have an available room for me, they made sure I got a discount! Room was beautiful, super clean, the pool was great for helping the kids wind down. Best stay in Tucumcari, hands down.

Nice hotel, friendly employees, good selection at breakfast. Decor very nice (HIE across the street is neon bright). Cookies offered upon arrival were a nice surprise. Cute little penguin made out of washrag and craft supplies was a cute little guy to welcome you to your room. Very clean!

I'm 68 with heart problems and was refused a ground floor room even though I had requested it by phone 2 months in advance. No elevators. Several young people checked-in to ground floor after us. Found partially empty bottle of Gatorade & car keys left in room by past guest. When I took them to the office, nothing was said and no apology was offered. Loud partiers were in the stairwell next to our room drinking and smoking until 4 am. I tried calling the office several times and no answer. It was the worst hotel stay of my life. Best Western should be ashamed.

Loved to stop and see K-bob right next door. Very clean and quiet. This is a charming place, and they go above and beyond for you. Easy on and off hwy. 40

Was clean but remodeled on a very tight budget. It smelled of a chemical odor upon entering the room but you can get used to it. Overall it was quite dated and very basic. You could do better for the money. Don't get me started on the bonus points or number of stays with them needed for a free night's stay. The complimentry breakfast is worth passing on.

This is a really good hotel. The rooms are roomy and clean. The staff and the management go over and above to make everything perfect. They put a small decorative washcloth in each room to welcome you. And everything is in its place and above and beyond expectation. The breakfast follows in the same attitude. It's not your normal Buffet. It has all of the extras to go with it. Five types of topping for bread or oatmeal. Good vegan choices. Fresh yogurt + juices. The regular breakfast foods like sausage hash browns and eggs are cooked to perfection. This hotel is a keeper.

The desk staff was very nice and friendly. Theybhekled us find a good place to eat at the Pow Wow and it was delicious! Breakfast staff was amazing as well. Very helpful and friendly.

Staff were nice. Breakfast was good. Walls of the rooms were thin. I could hear the person next door snoring. I could hear all the outside noise.

This hotel is a very good hotel. There are big thick towels, great Wi-Fi, and a fresh breakfast with with fluffy eggs and sausage, and real cranberry juice. When we checked in there were fresh warm cookies in the lobby. Our room had two chairs so that both of us could work.

Beautiful, clean and very friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing too. Bathroom was too small and toilet was not secured properly but it wasn't that big of a deal since we were only there to sleep for the night. Did I mention their breakfast was amazing? Rates are not too bad either and their rooms seemed bigger than some other places we stayed at. I loved the architecture too. My girls loved playing outside in the open as our room was just right on the 1st floor. Oh and they made really cute teddy bear with the towel which made my little girls very happy. She even wrote her own review about it.

Clean rooms, great for pets (they have a small pet area that is fenced in). Beds were decent, restaurant on property has a pretty good salad bar.

If you like friendly staff, don't stay here. The morning manager was actually ruder than the robotic staff at check in. Green chilis with breakfast, and a nice check out clerk were the only saving grace. Falls way short of expectations.

Hotel was nice and clean. Quiet for being just off the freeway. Breakfast was one of the best for this chain. Frequent user of best western and Hilton brands. Was one of the better ones.

This location absolutely failed. Me and my wife were moving cross country with two cats. We called to get rates and finally book a reservation what a deal. The lady who took our reservation said we could book in early at 3 am and book out the following day at 12pm and only be charged for one room. We were given a confirmation number. She said the room was cleaned and ready. We were 3 hours away and very tired. Upon check in at 3 am I was informed that checkout would be the same day at 12 pm. Needless to say I was tired my wife was tired we didnt need this we got a refund as I was told this information after I paid for the room. So here we are sleeping in our vehicles short 120 bucks until the refund posts after the holidays. Thank You Best Western for complete lack of your motto people who care. If best western does not make this right they have lost customers FOR LIFE.

We stopped here because we have two large dogs, and BW allowed them. To my surprise they have a small dog run out in the lot were my boy's can do their business off leash. Our room had tile flooring and didn't feel icky, the room was clean and the beds were nice. Then boom! In the morning they have an awesome breakfast bar with potatoes and gravy, fruit and waffles, juice, and eggs. It was really pretty tasty! I will be staying here again when passing through NM.

Comfortable, clean, and quiet. Excellent restaurant (K-Bob's Steak House) right across the parking lot. Superb breakfast in the hotel. Easy access to and from the freeway. Staff were helpful and friendly. The bed was excellent! After a long drive across Oklahoma and the Texas panhandle, this was a very welcoming place to stop for the night.

The Best Western Discovery Inn was very neat and clean. The beds were comfortable. It was located within easy access to I-40 and there was a restaurant right in the same block. The breakfast area was bright with many tables for seating. There was a nice selection of breakfast items.

We were traveling from Las Vegas and stopped at this Best Western. I was very surprised by how nice this hotel is. Our room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was the standard items but good. The internet was pretty slow. Would recommend this hotel!

Stayed last night. Reservation made over phone. Lied to regarding room entry from inside lobby. All rooms have outside entry. Room was so small it was like sleeping in a closet. Reserved ADA room, but no room for mobilty scooter. Had to park it outside of room. Very disappointed in hotel. Would not recommend.

A nice place to stay. Clean, great pool area, fitness center has a rowing machine in addition to a treadmill and stationary bike and it's my preferred cardio machine, so that was a bonus. Rooms could use some updating but they are clean. Helpful caring staff on the front desk. Nice restaurant next door with a great salad bar.

This is our go to motel in Tucumcari for many years. We can count on it being clean, the staff helpful and friendly. There is room to park a trailer, and it is located conveniently to the interstate with a K-Bobs located right across the parking lot. No need to drive to a restaurant after a long day of driving, and the breakfast has lots of selections. It's pricier than the motels on the other end of town, but worth it.

Very comfortable bed and pillows. Tasty breakfast with several fresh fruit options. I would have given this hotel five stars if it had hallways and an elevator, and if it was less expensive. At a total cost of $122/night, I did not consider it a good value.

The Best Western in Tucumcari New Mexico was the absolute best hotel I've stay st, clean room, wonderful staff priced well a full delicious breakfast great experience I would recommend them everyday☆☆☆☆☆

Recently remodeled, clean, friendly staff, food and fuel very close by, pet friendly, and good parking. If I had to be picky I would point out the room furniture is not top quality and there isn't any grass for pets, but at this price point those aren't deal breakers — and hey, it's the desert.

The staff is very pleasant and helpful. It was very nice being able to get a room late at night with very little problem. Once in the room it was very clean and iviting and the bed was wonderfully soft. What a good night's rest. Even the breafast was delicious with plenty to choose from.

Don't let the immaculate lobby fool you! If I could give a zero I would! My husband and I just checked in and our room is disgusting! It smells like stale beer and old food. Check in was odd… when she couldn't find my PO for work, she said she was going to let whoever came in tomorrow "deal with that", it wasn't her problem. When I got to my room, I immediately called the front desk. I wanted them to send someone to see if they could clean the room; I was told they don't have anyone. I asked if she could at least move the chair out of the room (because one can assume the smell permeates from there), I was told no. The only thing she could do was move me to a double queen (mind you my company is paying for a king suite). She assured me the rate would stay the same… $103+ with tax. I'm sure THAT room would be the same, dirty and smelly. Not to mention, for a queen the rate should be cheaper. When I told her I would just move the chair out into the breeze way until she could send someone to deal with it, she accused me of stealing… one would have to be pretty desperate to steal that dirty, filthy chair. (If you've ever watched Coming to America, picture the scene where the family gets up off the sofa and leaves grease marks on the back of it… this is ten times worse! ) I was rude because she got rude. When I asked for a manager she told me there wasn't one. I told her not to lie to me, she hung up on me and won't answer the phone now.

The rooms were clean and spacious. The location was convenient, close to gas and food. The free hot breakfast was good, including biscuits and gravy, pancakes, waffles, eggs and sausage, and hashbrowns.

After driving from Oklahoma City we decided to stop here. The check in process was quick and easy. Overall the cosmetic appearance of the property is basic nothing spectacular, but nonetheless clean. We checked into our room with two queen size beds. The room was clean but we were not impressed especially for the price we paid. The room didn't have a microwave or fridge and the bathroom and tub area was extremely small. Another thing the water had a harsh "phosphorous" smell. (Like boiled eggs). Ugh. The free Wi-Fi lagged. The ice and vending machines are located only on the 1st floors. The outdoor pool is small and not very inviting. The morning complimentary breakfast was a hit. Lots of choices unlike your ordinary free breakfast. Overall it met our basic comfort expectations for one night and the room was thankfully clean and comfortable. However, it wouldn't hurt if the hotel had a cosmetic upgrade.

Horrible customer service. Crappy air unit that keeps you up all night long. Never asked how many beds we wanted. You pay as much as you would for a holiday inn express with two beds, yet you get a one bed, poor quality room. For the price, you expect to get much, much more. If my family hadn't already been on the road for 15 hours, we would have left and went elsewhere.

The pet room smelled very clean. Love that it had tile floors. Great way to stay clean. We had a small covered patio with a sliding glass door that was very enjoyable to sit out and watch the thunderstorms go thu. Beds were great. Nice business center. Stayed at hotels all week from Maine to New Mexico and this was definitely the best! Absolutely worth the extra $20! Staff was super accommodating.

The rooms modern and very clean and staff here are amazing and friendly, I can't wait to go back again, the hot and cold breakfast variety was impressive too.

The construction of these setups is sturdy such that you don't hear anyone around you. The sleep quality because of the bed and the construction is very good. So, no worries there. This is a no-frills kind of place. The breakfast was fine, too. Also, this is in a convenient location and you don't hear the highway. There are some drawbacks. No elevators to the second floor (as far as I could tell). The shower never got hotter than mildly warm and it took about 20 minutes to achieve that level. The heater/AC is temperamental and approximate at best. The bathroom fixtures have worn, and the room is stuffed with too much furniture. The fitness center is spacy but limited such that 3 people in there at best could work out, maybe four.

Recently stayed here on our way across the country. They did accommodate our dogs and there was more than enough parking for my large truck and 24' trailer. The "Pet Rooms" were pretty dirty and stank like animal urine. Turned on the a/c and the air coming out smelled like animal urine. About $100 a night with military discount and animals. If I had it to do over again, I would have stayed elsewhere.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable bed and very nice looking room. Nice flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi. Great breakfast. Would definitely recommend.
