This hotel is nice and clean front desk very polite and welcoming. Only downfall would be the hot tub it’s no where near hot it’s like Luke warm. I was really looking forward to the hot tub and unwind.

The room was very large and extremely clean. Beautiful wood floors, super-comfy king-size bed, plump pillows, desk w/ chair and an easy chair. Microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, wall-mounted TV and coffee makers. Breakfast is made and brought to the check-in desk. I would highly recommend this motel, just steps from Old Town Albequerque. The staff was helpful and pleasant.

This place wowed me for the location and the attention to detail for the customer. They offer a shuttle and they are pet friendly. I would definitely recommend this place when traveling to Albuquerque.

Very nice staff, clean, helpful and great places around the hotel to check out if you're going to be in the area for awhile.

Gave use a room that had a sleeping lady in it. Then was given a room on 2nd floor when we were to have a ground floor. Two beds, two people and enough coffee for 1 cup! lady at counter was a bit rude.

This place is amazing. They accommodate truck drivers as well. They accept comcheks as a form of payment and if you need to cash a comchek, as long as you're not asking for too much in one sitting, they are more than happy to cash it for you. They are just all around amazing. 5 stars!

This is my second time here. It’s a great location, very close to Old Town. The staff here are always welcoming. They treat you right. Rooms are clean and affordable. I would recommend this Econo Lodge to everyone.

Now I'm not saying this is a 5-Star hotel, but for the price, the room cleanliness, and the convenience of being able to walk to and from Old Town Albuquerque, I'm giving it a 5 for being extra nice within it's class of motel. I had one of the larger rooms and it was very clean and had obviously had some updating recently. The front desk staff was very friendly when I checked in and out. The property was very clean and nice looking, and the parking lot had been repaved fairly recently. All in all it was a nice experience and I will definitely stay here again.

The rooms are clean and up to date. Nothing fancy, but that isn't why you stay here. It's a place to sleep answer get ready for the day, and it provides that very well. Breakfast was ok. Glad it's there so I don't have to go far. The location is close to Old Town and that was very convenient for why I was here.

Room; clean and cozy. Small pillows though and a funky shower head. Room has microwave, frig and coffee maker but only enough for one cup of caffeinated coffee. Smoking rooms are available, great truck driver rate! Staff; very friendly except Becky who is there for the paycheck obviously. Amenities; offers shuttle service and is within walking distance of restaurants and attractions. We visited on a Friday night and some of the other guest were extremely loud as they returned drunk to their rooms around 1:00 am. One actually laid down on the ground in front of our door. What are you gonna do, it happens. Would definately visit again.

A nice little hotel close to old town Albuquerque. Outstanding staff. I specifically want to call out Connie for her exemplary customer service. After I checked out, I THOUGHT I left something behind in the room on the desk. Connie offered to personally look through the room for my left behind item. Turns out, I had it the whole time buried in my suitcase. When I called her back, she had every right to be irritated with me for the wild goose chase I sent her on. Instead, she was genuinely patient, understanding, kind, and cheerful. Thank you!

Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff, quiet. We booked once on our way to Vegas, liked it so much that we booked it on our trip back home. And we will book it again every time we return this way! Only wish they had on site laundry.

I have stayed here before, it was a decent experience, wrote a nice review, thought I'd book again. Two different prices online v. At the front desk. I booked online, as the front desk recommended. I had two rooms and wanted adjoining, as it is a family xmas event. I made a mistake on one of the bookings and to make a change the manager had to approve, which included a refund for an extra night I didn't mean to book. The manager said he wouldn't do it. Eight days left before I would stay. Unreasonably the manager wants to soak me for a night I wasn't going to stay. They have lost a repeat customer forever over not doing the right thing. Doesn't say much about where their heart is. I will dispute the charge and have cancelled my other reservation. Not my choice, wished it would have ended better. Both Albuquerque Econo Lodge's will never get a dollar from me again — Old Town is another story — see the review.

Let me say right now that I can recommend this hotel. Read on for my reasons. I requested a quiet room and the hotel delivered! The one negative point I have to make is that the continental breakfast was sub-par, even for what continental breakfasts usually offer. But I'd say that's forgivable since everything else was great! The location of the hotel is good for people who have trouble getting to sleep. It's not too close to a highway and it's decently close to downtown. The room was clean and quiet. The beds are comfortable and I didn't wake up in the middle of the night too hot. The rooms do have refrigerators, which is a standard at this point, but I think it's worth mentioning. I'm not the best at leaving my room before the maid arrives, so I can happily say that the staff were friendly and gave me extra time to leave. They serve pizzoli until 9pm, which was delicious and took the edge off my appetite when I arrived. Overall it was a good experience and I can say I would recommend this hotel.

This place I like! I love plank flooring, instead of carpet! A rare gem! Close to biopark aquarium and botanical gardens, 5 minutes walk.

The gal who checked us in was wonderful! But no elevator and small, cramped breakfast room. They were running out of food 20 minutes before they were supposed to stop serving breakfast. When I asked about biscuits, I was told there would be no more. They ran out of bread and milk. Otherwise, not a bad place.

Customer service was great. Location was great rooms were comfortable. The only reason I give it a 4 and not a 5 was because our floor was extremely dirty.

I have nothing but good to say about this place. The rooms are clean the staff is most welcoming with breakfast and soup for dinner included. Also they have their own taxi for hotel. I haven't had one complaint.

Bait and switch. Desperate for renters enough to lie over the phone then raise the price and not tell you until they hand you a receipt. No parking for large vehicles. The beds were trampolines. The toilet clogged and nearly fell over cuz its not bolted down. The place had weed smell throughout. The breakfast was gross. Terrible place!

It really is a fantastic place. Solid rooms, staff is phenomenal and the breakfast is pretty good. I couldn't ask for more for the price. Again, fantastic staff.

Very nice inexpensive hotel close to Biopark and Aquarium. Also right near Old Town and many other great areas! Exceptionally friendly staff, clean rooms, nice indoor pool. Is definitely a great lodging pick!

I had wonderful time in this hotel. Very inexpensive, although very high quality. The wall was thin, which was only the negative point. I could hear people's talking from next door. I would definitely come back to this motel if I have a change to come back to ABQ. Thanks, Econo Lodge!

We came for the Balloon Festival and stayed here for 5 nights. This place was awesome, the manager was very nice and pleasant. The breakfast was great, you're located near everything. The room was so nice. Thanks Sam for helping me on the computer. We'll definitely stay here again!

10 out of 10. Im a truck driver and visit many hotels… was surprised here. A lot of remodel work going on but the rooms are very refreshed, brand new curtains and everything. Outside the property is impeccable, the front desk staff is awesome. You can tell there is a lot of pride taken here; breakfast was hot and yummy. Pets are allowed and I tried to find the smallest detail wrong and there is nothing. Free transportation to truck maintenance shops and A1 management.

10 out of 10. A lot of remodel work going on but the rooms are very refreshed, brand new curtains and everything. Outside the property is impeccable, the front desk staff is awesome. The only drawback I see is that the room temperature is controlled by a thermostat and not by the old fashioned AC units which are much cooler.

Hotel staff was very friendly, professional, and went out of their way to meet my request. I was given a call before I arrived to make sure they had what I wanted, lower floor, no smoking, pet free room, and extra sheets. The room was clean and the bed mattress was like brand new. Albuquerque has a bed bug problem and the last hotel I stayed in was infested. The city of Albuquerque told me over the phone how to inspect a room and this room was quite clean, though I found dust balls behind the bed. Even the high end resorts in the city have had bed bug problems. This hotel has not had any cars broken into or stolen from the parking lot (the holiday in express did) and it was quiet at night with no rift raft. The breakfast was only so so, but for the price, who cares! I will be staying here again. Also, the shower took a long time to warm up, but the water pressure was better than any other hotel I have stayed at in Albuquerque. I will definitely return and recommend it…

Great place. They have a shuttle service from kenworth for us truck drivers, which is really nice. Very friendly staff and good breakfast. Very clean rooms and a quiet location, close to old town. I highly recommend this place.

The location is close to Old Town, a quaint historic downtown, which filled with local goods. The downtown is about 1.5 miles away. The room was clean, will maintained. There is a free hot breakfast in the morning also the staff was very helpful. You can rent a bike from there for $10 a day. The road is under construction, so there can be some traffic on the road. I wouldn't mind staying here again.

The room was clean, the staff helpful, and they served a decent breakfast. We arrived late, but the person at the front desk called to confirm that we would check in. During that conversation she asked if we wanted an upstairs or downstairs room, she made certain that we were booked in the downstairs room that I reqested. When I checked in I was told when breakfast would be served (between 6:30 and 9:30), where the pool was located. The room was clean, there was a refrigerator, microwave, television, and air conditioner. The air conditioner kept the room cool, actually it worked so well I had to turn the thermostat up since it became too cold. The bathroom sink was in a separate room from the tub and toilet. They provided an adequate quantity of soap, shampoo, etc. The bed was comfortable, the bed clothes were clean, and each bed had four pillows. They provided a small desk and desk chair. There was also an upholstered chair. All in all the room was comfortable and was a good value for the money.

Booked this hotel to attend a wedding a few blocks away. The price initially got my attention but this hotel will now be on my stay list for my Albuquerque visits. Check in was very quick and easy. Front desk staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Room was wonderfully spacious, clean and comfortable with all the appliances in room updated/like new and worked like a charm. Found the room to be very energy efficient (motion or auto shut off lights) and newer air conditioning unit. There is a lot of construction in the area at the moment but hotel had a sign also offering bike rentals which I find convenient for a visit around old town. I also inquired about the area shuttle but was advised we would have to call a taxi. Booked Uber drivers instead and had maybe a 5 minute waiting time each trip. Overall a very wonderful experience!

The rooms are super clean! The staff is friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub are great after a day of driving/walking. Would definitely stay here again!

The people were nice and freindly room was clean and worth the price the only issiue I had was the langauge barrier between me and the shuttle driver which was to be expected given the region I would stay there again just wish there were more food options in the area.

Clean friendly and affordable good breakfast and they will go out of there way to help u in every way they can doesn't have a laundry room but they will take u to a laundry mat nearby and pick u up later.

I have stayed there three times in the past few days they have good customer services nice rooms a shuttle that will take u places I for one was impressed by one of the employees and her husband when the shuttle stoped on Sunday and I was at a truck stop they came and picked me up in ther own car I will be comeing back.

The good news, the rooms are above average, but sadly the water saver showerheads are a bit of a let down after a big day. The bad news, advertising as providing a full continental breakfast is a stretch, cold hot food and stale cereals do not constitute breakfast. Fortunately the coffee was good and McDonalds is just up the street.

The rooms were large enough and clean, nothing special. The shower was totally loud, even if someone next door has a shower, has one with a shower quasi.
The air conditioning went straight to bed and had a cold when outdoor temperature is 38 degrees.
The breakfast was good, there were scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, etc. However very much too salty.
The location was good, if you can find interesting OldTown. For our activities (breaking bad tour, tramway…) not very practical.
The rental was a joke, 6 bicycles, 2 were broken and the rest was also briefly before.
Shopping facilities nearby (Walgreens, McDonalds, subway) as well as a bus stop.
The pool was, although it was much too cold inside, and at the same time siding for bicycles.
The reception was sometimes friendly, sometimes they had a schlechtenn day but apparently.

Nice hotel for the price and it has a pool, free breakfast, and cozy rooms — all for a great price! One downside, however, is that the hotel's Wi-Fi blocks "games". Being a game designer, I couldn't do anything involving games on the internet at all because it's completely blocked.

Great, reasonably priced, clean place with a wonderful hearty breakfast. The location cannot be better for vacationers: 5 min walk to Old Town and nearby museum, easy access to major highways. Staff is wonderful too. We just back from 2 weeks travel in NM and among comparable places this was the best.

Pretty clean, hotel was meh! But the frustrating part was finding the two bed price online and show to find out they charge you $18 for your second adult to stay in the room? Thought the posted price with two bed room would be assumed there was 2 adults staying!

One of the best. Low price but service and rooms better than in most hotels. Great and clean rooms, good breakfast included and very close to the old town. Will be back soon.

What a great cheap place! With pet friendly rooms and an extremely pleasant staff! Hard wood floors, normal house wall thermostat for heating and cooling, clean rooms and you'll be greeted with a friendly good morning along with smiles from the friendly staff. I stayed two nights getting my truck worked on the warmness from the staff was jaw dropping, it's a very rare thing these days.

Room was very comfortable with wood floors and modern thermostat. Bedding was good but the mattresses were stiff, particularly at the edges when seated. Breakfast provided was good with waffles, eggs, bacon and sausage. Los Compadres Mexican food is a short walk on the same side of the busy street. Great food at a cheap price.

This hotel on which we can't count.
After booking, made 2 months in advance this hotel simply phoned to cancel this reservation… 6 hours before our arrival.
However, a confirmation e-mail was sent to me, and everything was OK.
They said that they had left messages on the eve of the arrival, but after checking, not in there was none.
The pretext is that they had a problem of credit card. Again this is false, the booking must be paid on arrival.
This hotel is not reliable, I do not recommend.

Room was clean. Location was a short walk from Old Town. The breakfast was a great way to start the day.

This is the best Econo Lodge I have ever stayed at. Very clean, very friendly. Very accommodating. The breakfast is great! Eggs, bacon, potatoes, and more. And in good walking distance to fast food, and small stores.

Amazing for the price. Very clean. Modern appliances. Bed isn't great but far from terrible, I slept soundly. Sound insulation is poor, could hear talking and TV in neighboring room clearly. Good breakfast. Really very impressed with the quality at the price.

It's clean they offer ok breakfast, but the beds are not that great. They have microwave and fridge in the room. They offer free Wi-Fi too. But if you are a truck driver be warned they say free shuttle in 3 mile radius but that's not so they want to charge you also one for the 5 days my husband need to go back to shop to check on our semi and they tried to charge him to do that. They also charge per day per pet at $10 per pet so yeah we ended up paying an extra $100 for our small dogs (weighing 20lbs or less each). There is McDonalds next door, a subway about a block away and a Walgreens about a block a way.

I enjoyed this clean, roomy and fresh place plus the breakfast and customer service was excelent. I would love to stay in this place if I am in the area one more time. The best compared to others.

This was the BEST Econo Lodge I have ever stayed in. The price beats any in Albuquerque. The room was extremely clean and has hardwood floors so no allergies and it even smells clean not covered up with air fresheners. The breakfast was better than eating the buffet at Shoney's. Homemade gravy & biscuits, bacon, sausage, eggs, fruits, waffles. You can walk to Old Town and you can walk along Route 66. You can't go wrong with this place or it's location and the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome.

The attention is a big shame and something racist.
