We paid way too much for two nights in this place. If you are looking for a concrete bed hotel and nights of pain and a swollen face — this is the place for you! We checked with the desk and all of their extremely hard beds and flat pillows are the same in all the rooms. They were kind enough those to comp us breakfast (the girls can’t fix the beds so they tried to make the best for us). Still, would NOT recommend staying here unless they upgrade their beds and pillows. — Update — Housekeeping skipped our room AGAIN! If you want crap beds and no clean towels — this is your place! Horrible for the price. Absolutely horrible.

Absolutely horrible experience! Upon arrival we were informed there were no rooms available, even though we had made a reservation (and received confirmation) a month in advance. The desk help was rude and poorly trained, insisted there was no reservation ever though she somehow knew the name is was made under. They made no effort to make it right and were unapologetic. Ended up having to drive an hour away in the middle of the night to find an available room.

Very welcoming, relaxing environment. Just what I needed for Mother’s Day!

I've stayed for business and have spendna weekend with Mrs, awesome hotel I highly recommend.

Double beds were awful and if your with your spouse forget it. Over priced and nothing Special. So many great Marriot properties but I would rate this one a 6 of 10. I have Platinum Elite status and spend most of my life in hotels and this one was a disappointment. The bar was great.

Very expensive for the rooms… double beds… meals at the restaurant weren't very good… the people at the bar never smiled… drinks were small…

I stayed here over a long weekend in May. I had specifically asked before booking if the indoor poor was heated, and was told that it was. 1) the pool was definitely not heated, and my son wouldn't even get in. 2) I asked if there was a freezer, and was told that they could keep anything I needed in the restaurant freezer. Needless to say this was not done and my entire frozen order of Trader Joe's had defrosted when they gave it back to me the morning of check out. 3) my credit card was charged for a meal at the restaurant, when I never ordered anything.
a manager said she would rectify things and call me, which she never did. I called and left a message for a manager, but several weeks later no one has called me. So disappointing all around.

They have Blanton's at the bar. That makes this a 11 of of 10 rating!

Call ahead and find out if the renovation has been completed. Do not, under any circumstances other than a natural disaster, stay here until they have finished construction and hired all new people. No restaurant open due to renovation, but there’s a room service menu. Problem is phone system doesn’t work. Called the front desk about 4 times. No answer. Walked downstairs to lobby. She told me they would call me before walking way. (Phone doesn’t work). Ordered pizza from across the street. They did send me a beer later though. Look everyone else was super nice, but they understaffed and they are mailing it in during the renovation.

Excellent customer service! I was sent here by American Airlines with a reservation voucher. There was no reservation for me (AA's fault — not Trader Duke's). They were booked solid due to a music fest in town. Chris, at the front desk, called all over town & no other hotel would accept my AA voucher. Chris & other employees came to my rescue & made sure I had accommodations at the hotel. Much appreciated! Wasn't looking forward to going back & sleeping in the airport.

Loved the hotel. Less than 10 minutes from downtown Burlington and walking distance to restaurants and a mall. Very nice and helpful staff. Kids loved the pool. Rooms were very nice and we loved the double showerhead. Would definitely stay here again.

My bf and I stayed there over night due to the fact that there was a heat wave and our apartment had no AC. Our experience there was wonderful. The room was nice looking as well as super clean. Staff was very friendly. They give you complementary coffee and tea (huge plus) and the room was nice and chilly. Great place, very beautiful. I'd highly recommend!

We were looking for a place to grab breakfast and decided to head to Trader Duke's. The omelets were delicious and perfectly cooked. We were there with our 17-month-old, and it felt like maybe we were a little rushed to leave or that the server thought we would want to get going sooner rather than later. The staff seemed to know other customers who were starting at the hotel, and I overheard servers along questions about the customers' plans from previous days, which was attentive and pleasant. The building was undergoing renovations, and the restaurant had kind of a tavern feel, but didn't exactly shake the feeling of it being attached to a conference center.

I liked staying here and the breakfast caprese at the restaurant is very good. Favorite part was the little shop next to the front desk, it's always open if you need a late night drink or snack/ice cream. Everything was clean and well furnished.

Everything was great. However, the food was a little too fancy for my taste. The gravy on the beef tasted like it had chocolate. I am sure that is fine for some but not for me. The staff was super helpful. In fact one person got the chicken after tasting the beef gravy. Drinks were filled and coffee wasn't bad.

While some might wonder why a 5 star with the renovations going, the staff is a 5 star plus. My trip was not for fun. It was for loss. My son passed away in Burlington and I had an unexpected trip to make. I was close to the hospital, police station and the direct cremation. The entire staff at Trader Dukes made everything I needed possible! Rides to where I needed to go. Quite time, food. Smiles! clean rooms. It will all be perfect when renovations are complete. I will stay again if in the state. Thank you, Marriott staff!

The hotel was fine. Convenient located. There was some inconvenient construction / remodeling going on and a gas leak meant hot water was off for a while and couldn't order anything from the kitchen. They were flexible with my flight change by letting me do a very late checkout.

Very nice and clean rooms. Nice fitness area. Good proximity to downtown Burlington. No continental breakfast, which is unfortunate. Restaurant attached has decent options but good food options near by. You used to get a cookie when you arrived, not anymore.

I enjoyed the location of our work outing. The front desk and associates were very helpful. I was disappointed with the knowledge and ability of the bartenders.

Hotel is centrally located. Friendly staff at the front desk. Even though the hallway looks somewhat dated, we were pleasantly surprised by the decor inside the second floor room. Has a smaller gym but a nice pool and jacuzzi adjacent to it. We had breakfast at the restaurant downstairs while typical breakfast fare, staff were exceptionally attentive, including Javier, the host. Will definitely stay here next time we are in Burlington.

We didn't have any issues that other people mentioned and they even accommodated us with our requests for a crib and a microwave. Check-in was super easy and they have plenty of parking as well. Oh and they even have luggage carts for people to use which was great as well. And did I mention free Wi-Fi? Beware however that breakfast is not included but you can go to their lounge for it. It's on the pricey side however so we opted to hit up local spots instead. All in all this place is fine. Clean, affordable and conveniently located. No complaints.

An amazing lunch and stimulating company! I was there for a business meeting then I was so comfortable.

I came for a work event. We used one of the banquet rooms and had some of their synthetic eggs with cheese on top and some pastries and some sausage and some bacon some watery coffee. But their potatoes were excellent. I'm sure I will accept the invitation to the mandatory business meeting next time as well.

Staff are polite and offer good suggestions for activities. Hotel is a little dated, but it is part of the Marriott International chain so you will get the same great service as at any other Marriott. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, but the hallways and lobby can use some updating. Parking and Wi-Fi are free. They put pastries in the afternoon in the lobby and that's a nice touch.

Nice hotel for the most part. It's an older property, and the layout is kind of confusing. But the room was great, and the bed comfortable. The restaurant was the highlight of my experience. The Vermont burger was one of the best burgers I've had. Breakfast is very good also.

The food at the restaurant and bar is always good. The night time menu is a little slim though. The staff is always friendly.

Pretty decent conference facility. The food provided was quite good, spaces were clean and bright. We had some issues with Wi-Fi that made things tricky at times.

Was here for a series of professional classes. Breakfast and lunch were both provided. The food was very good. The setting clean and nice. Amenities were readily available. Good luck turning left on Williston Rd from here but you can take a roundabout way out the can to get to Dorset Street.

I was in a wedding held here last month and it was beautiful. Very convenient to organize for the ceremony, and they also offered a dinner for anyone at the rehearsal the night before! The venue looked stunning, the staff was prompt and helpful — especially the bar tenders, wait staff, and front desk. This would have been five stars if it weren't for the bridal party's room location. In order to get to the room from where the ceremony was being held, or from anywhere really, we had to run around the building, climb stairs, and walk down 3 or 4 hallways. I don't know if this is always the case for weddings but they should really try to consider the fact that people will be in and out of the room getting last minute details together, and all those extra minutes having to run laps count when you're on a schedule!

I was in a wedding there recently and the staff at the DoubleTree was amazing! They were very accommodating to every member of the party and all of the guests.

Always a pleasure to stay here, one of my favorite Hilton hotels; the front desk staff is always unfailingly polite, quick to help me check in, and ready with a cookie as they can see I am the kind of person who needs a cookie immediately. The digital key offering is nice, too, for those times I am just looking to pass out immediately. The rooms are seemingly recently updated, and certainly I have only ever had good nights' sleep here. It is also worth mentioning that the attached restaurant, Trader Duke's, is literally my favorite hotel restaurant in the U. S. For its combination of always-delicious food (breakfasts particularly, and the Sunday brunch is fantastic) and warm service.

As a Hilton Guest for over 25 years, the service has become moderate at best. At this hotel it was refreshing to receive the accommodation for a family who chooses to reserve our stays at a Hilton Brand. The Doubletree experience my family had this weekend was 5 star. Clean, welcoming and afforded us the peace of mind we search for when away from home. We would recommend this hotel to our friends and family coming to Vermont. The staff was courteous and took care to ask if we needed anything and answered all of our questions and provided recommendations to what was available near by. Thank you, the Diallo Family.

The double tree Hilton in south Burlington VT was a nice hotel, it was in a good location. Easy on and off the interstate. It was within walking distance to shopping areas. The rooms were a standard room. Clean and well kept.

Great place to stay! Front desk people friendly, clean rooms, great air conditioning (it was hot when I visited), restaurant and bar right downstairs and security is top notch. You need a key card to get in 24 hours a day. I would recommend this hotel for anyone for business or pleasure. Only about a 5 minute ride to downtown Burlington depending on traffic.

I've spent many weeks' worth of nights at this hotel for work over the past several years. I'd rate it as slightly above average across the board, except for the hallways feeling a bit dated. Staff has always been helpful, rooms are nice for this hotel class, and the adjoining restaurant (Trader Duke's) is quite good. It is close to several other good restaurants, convenient to downtown Burlington, and has plenty of parking. Never had an issue with noise. No self service laundry on site, but short walking distance to a laundromat. Great for businesses travel. A decent option for vacation travel.

We only stayed one night, but the room was much bigger than I thought. The staff were super nice and gave us cookies upon check-in.

Had brunch with a party of 12 for birthday. Trader Dukes staff was wonderful, very attentive with a great positive attitude and food was delicious. They were very busy but never rushed us.

This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel and all three times have been lovely. It is very clean, beds are comfortable, front desk staff are extremely helpful, and the cookies are a nice touch. 2 of the 3 times I have stayed here I chose this hotel because of the proximity to the concert venue that I came to town for but it is now going to be the only hotel I stay in when I visit Burlington. Their parking lot is adequate and safe and the location is easy to get in and out of.

Cookies are good. Room is clean and bed is comfortable. Has slight smell that we could not place and the tub doesn't drain well enough for the great water pressure.

Great venue for a day-long seminar. Food and drinks were all very good, rooms were comfortable, electronics worked, and staff was unobtrusive but responsive when needed.

Flight got cancelled so the airline put me here for the night. Shuttle was great and on time, driver was very friendly. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Would stay again.

Nice venue for the event. I had Wi-Fi as I stated as a guest, and they kindly extended my usage, but I don't know how readily available itxwas for other guests and vendors.

This hotel is located in South Burlington, a little less than two miles from the airport. It's nice and the staff are very friendly. I had a single queen room and it's quite spacious. The only complaint about the room is that the temperature control isn't the greatest. When the A/C kicks on to cool the room it makes it quite cold (which is probably great in the summer). The only other issue is that the hotel isn't really close to anything but the airport so finding things to do without a vehicle is challenging. The last thing I'll say is that if you want to bring a Roku or any other device to hook up to the TV, you're in luck as the HDMI ports are accessible.

Clean, quiet, pet friendly, close to downtown Burlington. Staff is wonderful and accomodating. Love the cookies!

Absolutely incredible, I couldn't believe I found myself in such an amazing place. The price isn't bad, and all the luxuries make you feel at home. For some people, this place may feel better than home. If you don't mind the price being a little on the higher-end, this hotel is a must, the choice for anyone staying in the Burlington area.

Rooms seem basic and dated, even abused in places. Little food amenities such as continental, etc. Very spread out and didn't notice neighbors even while busy weekend. Easy to get downtown and airport.

Great rooms, comfy beds. Awesome cookie at check in. One thing to improve is television selection, and a TV guide button would be nice.

Great service and nice clean environment.

Clean, no fragrance smells, excellent hospitality. Food in the restaurant is okay but not great, but convenient if you need to stay in the building. I left clothing there in the closet and it took a few days for them to find it, but they did and are shipping it to me (my dime) via UPS, for which I am very thankful. Needed a microwave and it was brought to the room immediately. Room service was excellent. Pool is warm, long, and there is a very nice whirlpool (deep, good jet power). We had an 'inside' courtyard room, and it was extremely quiet there, on 2nd floor, with excellent woodland type view. I heard it was not so quiet elsewhere.

Had our wedding reception here this fall. The event was great, the staff was amazing, including the management and event coordinator. They went above and beyond (delivered flowers to the ceremony site after a delivery mix up on our part). The courtyard was beautiful and quiet (especially considering how close it is to the busy road). I don't think any of our guests had anything but good things to say about the hotel. Seemed to be a great value, with the only negatives from a hotel standpoint being the low ceilings make the hallways feel a little cramped, the suites end up being dark because of where the windows are located, and the service at Trader Dukes seemed to be strangely slow.

I recently held my wedding at the Doubletree in Burlington, Vermont. As part of this event, I spent the night in the hotel, ate in the restaurant, spent time in the pool and hot tub, and worked with the event staff. My experience with every element of this hotel was wonderful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable (with the hotel staff ready to attend to any needs I or my guests had). The restaurant food was great, not only in quality but pricing, and the waitstaff was attentive. The pool and hot tub were spacious, with plenty of space to lounge and relax. Finally, I cannot say enough nice things about Jen Bober and her highly professional event staff. Throughout the entire wedding process, they were there to help. Any time I changed the plans, they made it work. Some of my guests had special dietary needs — it wasn't a problem. I forgot to pack a bathrobe — they brought one up to my room. Every time I was concerned about something going wrong, they put my fears to rest. I would recommend this facility to anyone staying in the area, or planning an event.

Bad value for the price. Photos are deceptive. The place, except the reception area, is old, cramped, depressing. Burlington has lots of hotels — stay somewhere else.

Great Hotel! The service and rooms are among the best in the Burlington area. The staff is more than helpful, the rooms are always well made and comfortable. Most important to me is that they are quiet, I stayed in the hotel when 2 basktball teams were there, and I never heard anything. In fact, on any of my stays I've never heard a peep. Plus this hotel room service, which is pretty good too, I've never had to wait long or had the order incorrect.

It took the restaurant over an hour to make my entree with the room no where near filled to capacity. They got the order wrong by putting exactly what I requested off my entree because of an allergy. They made the entree again and this time gave me the allergic substance inthe dressing. To make matters worse, they did it once before. Better food and better service is at the wind jammer across the street at the best western hotel, trust me, avoid this place.
