I was not informed that a request needed to be made for a guest room to be cleaned. When questioned I was treated extremely rudely by the front desk personnel. I was told it was on the website which it is not. Then was told I was rude. Not what I expect and will not frequent your establishment or recommend it.

Nice that it’s set off the busy highway, nice setting, quiet, nice room, clean.

It's a nice motel amazing prices & the staff is great.

Great atmosphere, fantastic food and service. Highly recommended.

Nice breakfast, clean room, nice bar/lounge, had ppl arguing in next room, but hotel staff promptly took care of it. Free ear plugs, eye masks. Cookies after 8pm… nice place!

Stopped by here on our honeymoon for a night and they gave us an upgrade and were really accommodating of our small dog. Lots of small touches that made our stay extra nice. Breakfast buffet was the best I've seen at a hotel, with high quality, plentiful food of lots of variety, even close to the end of service. Jeffery at the front desk was especially friendly and helpful when we checked in late at night.

We organized a family gathering for 10 before a baseball game at Centennial Field. The reservation process went smoothly and they have a great quiet room for parties up to 20 or so. The salad bar is well known by locals and did not disappoint. The portions were good and the bar menu provided lower cost options.

This hotel is amazing. We first found it by chance in 2016 when our son was looking at colleges. The staff have always been helpful as well as the hotel is always neat and clean. They have an indoor and outdoor pool. The indoor is a heated salt water pool that relaxes the muscles after our 6hr drive. Can't wait till we go back in Dec to pick up our son from college.

Stayed here about a week ago for the weekend, and would definitely stay here again. The rooms were neat and clean, the AC worked well and the pools are great. Our only issue was that the breakfast buffet was overcrowded (I think the hotel was quite full with a wedding) and the buffet food so-so. BUT, there's a Starbucks and a bagel store in the strip mall next door (also a Moe's and a good pizza place), which worked out very well. The location is great! Very close to UVM and the lake.

Good hotel in a good location. Pool was nice and clean. Room was perfectly adequate. Breakfast was complimentary and very good. Only complaints I had were the AC unit in our room smelled of mildew and the unit above ours had a very squeaky floor and the occupant was wandering around at 4am keeping us awake. Not the hotel's fault but I let them know of both minor issues we had. We would stay here again.

Indoor and outdoor pool. Very generous HOT breakfast buffet provided daily. Excellent service. Clean rooms with mini fridge, free Wi-Fi. Location is excellent. A quick 10min drive to everything. Steps away from Mo's burritos and a Starbucks. Both the pools and the dining area/tables right across from lobby were perfect places for our family to converge during our family's 3 day reunion. We used the tables for board games, eating in, rainy day hang out. Additional cot at $10/night was fine for 2 young kids to sleep in.

We attended a wedding at The Pond at Bolton. The guests all stayed here. They were very accommodating. We also had our rehearsal dinner here. We planned the dinner here so with could meet with all the wedding guests after the dinner upstairs at the Pub. All in all a great weekend.

We had an excellent stay at the Best Western Plus Windjammer Inn. The hotel was bright and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful — from booking our room to check out. Every time we passed a staff member in the hallway, in the lobby, or out on the grounds we were greeted with a "hello" or "have a nice day. " The free breakfast was excellent and offered a good variety of food. Our son thought the cookies and milk were the perfect treat at the end of the day. We will definitely plan on staying there again when we return next year.

This hotel worked well for us as we used he stay and fly option and left our vehicle on site and used the shuttle to get to the airport. The room was clean and functional for the limited stay that we used it. The property seems a bit dated, hence, the four star rate. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Decent hotel. Very very long corridors to walk. Ample parking but if you're tired or hard to get around, keep looking. I've requested rooms near the lobby 3x and always got put miles away in a far far hallway — once the hotel wasn't even nearly full. But it's a very pretty place. 3 stars is accurate.

Windjammer Restaurant in S. Burlington is the best restaurant we had experienced. Excellent service, fresh salad bar, great appetizer, main course that was filling and tasty. Menu had lots of options. Our party ordered steak dinners and was not disappointed. We were impressed with servers suggestions. Truly a family favorite and would be going again.

From the front desk, to the ladies preparing breakfast, the van drivers and housekeeping staff were great. Thought we were at a 5 star hotel. They treated us as if we were in their home and we were family. We were there for a follow up visit with Univ. Of Vermont Medical kidney dept. For my wife Elaine. When we were leaving they gave my wife a card which they all signed wishing her the best of luck. Very touching moment to say the least. The staff knows how to make one feel wanted and comfortable. I’ve stayed at this hotel several times over the past few years. The staff are amazing, always friendly and helpful. Clean rooms that smell nice, comfortable beds. I love the continental breakfast in the morning, and the warm chocolate chip cookies and cold milk at night is nice after a long day. I use the indoor pool at least once when I’m here, and I’ve always found the pool area to be clean. Price is reasonable, and they offer a hospital discount, which is great because it seems like the only time I stay here is when I have a family member in the hospital. As someone who has a dog I can appreciate their pet friendly policy even though I’ve never had to use it. Definitely one of my favorite places to stay in Burlington!

Well equipped hotel for relaxation.

Bad experience at this hotel. Pool occupied by members of a basketball team, without the possibility to relax. Come and go in the hallway till 03:00 in the morning. Very badly slept being poorly isolated. The cleanliness of the place, the location and the price… are positive points but nothing strong enough to compensate for the lack of sleep;)

Offers a great salad bar. Pub upstairs has a nice soup and salad combination. Number of TVs that show all types of games. Very unique table tops. Sometimes hard to get service in the pub.

Excellent value. Not a fancy place, but very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, from the front desk to the housekeepers and the maintenance staff. The room was very clean. The pool temperature and quality of the water were perfect. The free breakfast was better than other free breakfasts I have received at other places. Everything was fresh. And though I missed it, I am aware that they serve warm cookies in the lobby in the evening. What a nice touch! I am definitely staying there again when in Burlington, VT.

This is one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at in a long time. The noise level is unbelievable! Even reading the better reviews, there are noise complaints. You can hear every single voice and every single footstep — sounds like a circus of elephants above us. No sound protection whatsoever. Doors are slamming constantly.
On top of the inside noise in the hallway, we came here with our pets and are forced to stay in a room right by a busy entrance door. It is constantly slamming all night into early morning. Addressed this with staff right away and were told we didn’t have any other option to move due to having pets. Why have pet rooms located in a high traffic area?
Room was not thoroughly cleaned. Realized this when I stepped on fruit loop cereal that was coming out from under the bed — looked and there is a stockpile under there. So gross. Tons of crumbs under the table as well.
The only reason why I gave two stars is because staff is friendly (although unhelpful in relocation) and the maintenance staff was very kind when he came to fix the outlet in the bathroom that did not work.
Will never stay here again — there is no way they can easily fix the noise issue and getting horrible sleep for the weekend really sucks.

The service was good. The food was not very friendly but the service was good and the rooms had everything and were clean.

We love our stays at the Best Western! The staff is amazing, so helpful and happy. The breakfast is awesome, there is a large variety and has great options for child picky eaters. We were relaxed and we enjoyed the pool to the comfortable bed and linens. Thank you for yet another amazing experience! We always recommend the Best Western to our friends and family who stay in the area.

The staff were very friendly, the room was exceptionally clean. Yes, I will say after reading other reviews is you do hear noise from the hallway. We visited on a Monday which was a quiet day so there wasn't a lot of guests. I could imagine on the weekends you might have to bring the industrial earplugs. BTW, the restaurant was recommended to us by the front desk staff. We went to the pub upstairs. At first all seemed good, the waitress arrived quickly but the disappeared for a long time. I realized she was in the corner chatting with the other staff, hmmp! We ordered burgers, they were dry and tasteless. The rice for my side tasted like it came from an instant package. Definitely not impressed, paid around 50$ Canadian for nothing!

The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only real downside is the breakfast. The week old tasting fried hash browns and French toast leave much to be desired. Stayed for a few days and it was the exact same Breakfast each day with no improvement in quality. I'd stay here again but would stick to the yogurts and fresh fruit as the prepared food was tragically bad.

Wind Jammer is top notch around Burlington. I highly recommend the restaurant for a nice meal. The food is excellent and the price is good, too. Great salad bar. For a more casual fun atmosphere, try the beautiful Upper Deck Pub upstairs. The nachos there are really good.

Booths were comfy, chairs felt a touch short for an average height person. Salad boat was a bit limited — mixed greens only, instead of more traditional lettuces. Cucumbers had a bit of translucency, probably should have been fresher. Fresh bread was awesome however, and dressing options were good — go for the Parmesan Peppercorn! I got the stuffed haddock special. It was dry, yet the boat it was served in was very oily. I should have got the burger. The burger was huge, easily enough to fill a big eater, and you could split that and the fries with two modest eaters getting lunch. This wasn't a bad place at all, but it was just okay. For the price that is a little disappointing. I will still go back, if only for the burgers.

Always enjoy our stay at this Best Western. The pool is warm, plenty of towels and a nice warm shower. The Windjammer pub is very affordable and has amazing food and they make an amazing Bloody Caesar As for the bed size, well they are doubles so if you are used to sleeping in a double all is ok! We like to occasionally just get away and swim, shop and eat and this is the place for us.

I didn't stay at the inn but went to the restaurant. The food and service were both great! The food came out at a good timely manner. It all tasted great. The waitress was very nice and on top of everything to make sure we were comfortavle and had everything we needed. I would greatly recommend people to go there.

A clean, comfortable, friendly place with an indoor pool, and restaurant and pub next door. You never have to leave if you just want to relax and stay "home". But if you go out, it's a very convenient location in the Burlington area… close to everything.

Very nice staff, great restaurant. Unfortunately the elevator was not working and they did not have any extra staff to help with luggage. The hot water boiler quit working and the room they put us in was not the same size or class. The electric outlet in the bathroom was not working. Old and dated property, floors creak, etc. I would not stay there again if it weren't for the Windjammer Restaurant. It does have a unique ambiance and they've done the best they can to keep the old property updated but the old bones show through.

We rented 2 rooms for 2 nights with young children. Friendly staff The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. Excellent beds. Wi-Fi works well. The breakfast is good and full but the room is small and noisy if there are people.
When the hotel is renovated it will have to change the room doors which are very noisy when they are closed without precaution. Very good location (roads, airport, shopping centre, and Burlington Centre 5 mins).

Hotel was very clean. Bed comfortable. Staff friendly. Breakfast choices were amazing. Lots of parking. Room was pretty small. Overall a nice place to stay.

Avoid this place! Their internet was not working. Everyone in the hotel was complaining about it. My daughter could not get through and thought I was dead. Worst experience I ever had at a hotel. I checked in online the previous day and requested a room by the elevator due to special needs and I was given a room as far away from the elevator as you could get. To top it off, my key card kept deactivating after walking the long walk several times. I spent the whole stay walking back and forth with my back and legs killing me. When I notified the staff, there was little interest. I got 30 dollars taken off the bill. Why did I bother checking in the day before and asking for the room I needed if the request just goes unnoticed? So, I recommend don't use this place. There was a Comfort Inn that looked nice. I would go there if I come back and recommend others to do the same.

Clean. Nice room. Great service. Cookies n milk at 8pm. Free breakfast. Windjammer restaurant was delicious. Easy access to conference center made things much easier for my family and I.

We came in at 9pm on labor day, and although the main restaurant was closing early, they managed to fit us in and provide us with the full menu in their pub area. The food is nothing exceptional, but there is a good selection of meats and styles, and a nice salad bar. I recommend more for group events than dates, but the service was good, and the food was satisfying.

This was the smallest Best Western room that I have even seen. The room had a strong odor of room freshener. The following morning the smell of urine was what the room spray was covering. We reported this to the front desk. The breakfast buffet was well stocked with many choices.

I have never been disappointed staying at the BW Windjammer. Convenient, Comfortable, & the restaurant just steps away offers quality food at fair & reasonable prices. Great salad bar too! The staff, of course is what makes a visitor's stay a positive experience. That's why we keep coming back. :)

Very accommodating, professional and helpful staff. Easy to make room reservations by talking to actual staff instead of call center. The agreed upon room rate that turns out to be lower than their standard rate was quickly granted without question. Rooms were kept clean every day. Had a very comfortable sleep every night. Vermont maple syrup is a must buy when you are in there.

A spectacular lodging experience. The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Everything in my room was in good shape. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast bar was top notch, with both hot and cold items. The restaurant and pub attached to the hotel were excellent as well, and we visited on more than one occasion. All in all, I recommend this hotel very highly and would definitely return.

Very nice and clean hotel. We had a very long drive to get here and it was nice to be checked in quickly. There were fresh baked chocolate chip cookies for the taking and the breakfast was very good.

Honestly it was a great hotel. It had an indoor swimming pool, and outdoor one else. Close to everything including malls, highways, downtown, airport etc. It's a great stay for short term. Breakfast was served downstairs. Clean rooms. Large parking lot, with doors in every corner leading to different floors in the hotel. Very accessible and friendly staff!

Loud at early night… heavy doors shutting… wood floors and upper level walkers a bad combo… good breakfast, great little indoor pool.

I recently stayed at the best western in South Burlington vt for work. I was very pleased with my experience. I was unable to try the pool or breakfast but the rooms were very nice and the staff was pleasant. If I were to have one complaint it would be about the location. The hotel is situated very close to the airport and was able to get the planes clear as day.

Great rooms and friendly service. They provided a complementary shuttle to and from the airport as well as to and from the University. They also provided warm cookies every night. Would definitely stay here again.

Our Samsung Tablet grew legs and walked out of the room… the staff was extremely unhelpful in locating the devise. But thanks to Google maps we can see its being used frequently at a local residence… how convenient. When asking for the regional manager of this Best Western we were told the regional manager would have no authority over the hotel manager… what a company!

Beds very comfy. Rooms up to date with all modern amenities. Upper Deck Pub excellent. Great people great smiles!

Paper thin wall, old, very small room. Noisy area. Not sure, how this hotel can receive sometimes 4-5 stars. Was traveling this week between Boston and Ottawa and this was the most worse one. : (

Very clean suite. Super comfy beds and the free breakfast was more than adequate in variety. The staff at the desk were very helpful and friendly. Quiet and spacious room.

Kind of cramped, dingy. I dont expect a gourmet breakfast, of course, but not great. No scrambled eggs, and they had a bunch of cold sausage and egg biscuits you can heat up, but none without sausage for vegetarians, although I'm not sure I would have eaten it anyway.

Not the best choice for the business traveler, or anyone over 4' tall. Tiny room, tiny bed, tiny pillows. Beds advertised as queen size are sub-twin IMO. Paper-thin walls allow you to become intimately familiar with your neighbor's romantic and bathroom routines. Disposable remote with excruciatingly slow response makes using the television a painful exercise in frustration. Spent last week at the Sheraton just a few hundred yards away, but they were booked for this week, so here I am. Room costs are comparable, but the Sheraton is a VASTLY better hotel. On the plus side: the staff is pleasant, and rooms have a small fridge. Access is easier than it is to the Sheraton as there's no construction happening on this stretch of the highway — as of 9/29/14.

Based our decision on ratings on Google. Room smelled like cat urine. Don't stay here. Room was dated and dirty. Very disappointing. Poor service. Wasn't able to switch rooms.

Been travelling New England for a week and stating mostly in BWs. This one leaves a lot to be desired. Smallest room yet and if this is a queen-sized bed, I'll be a monkey's aunt. Disappointing to say the least.

The rooms are great for the price and very clean and a good size. One great benefit is they have a refrigerator and microwave in room so it was very handy to be able to keep leftovers. The workout facility was adequate but can't handle more than 2-3 people at the same time comfortably. The complimentary breakfast was good and a nice perk to have included in the cost of the room. There is no room service and during my stay the attached restaurant was closed for renovation but there are a few places to get food that are walking distance from the hotel, not to mention the variety of options within a few miles. One thing that most impressed me was the free Wi-Fi. I've stayed in a lot of hotels where they not only make you pay for Wi-Fi but the connection is barely usable. I was consistently getting a strong signal and a very fast connection (>20mbps download). Of all things, this was definitely the most important to me and will bring me back to this hotel whenever I'm in the area in the future.

Great restaurant, comfy beds, tasty breakfast. A good hotel to stay in.
