Reviews of Sheraton Boston Hotel 4*
Long story short. Room 1007 had bed bugs when I checked out the morning of 7/30/2022. If you want the hotel to consider you an actual guest, do not book using a third party. Both the hotel and booking. Com don’t seem to care at all. Beware and check your sheets.
Hotel was very clean and very close to Newbury Street where you can walk to lots of shops and restaurants.
Rooms are nice and clean…. Are large too.
All — Amazing and great services and facilities.
Very comfortable and nice hotel. I watched Joeseph the front desk manager handle a guest who was very intoxicated in a very professional manner. Kudos to Joeseph! ❤️
Nice area plenty of shopping and restaurants. Great location.
Close to everything! We really enjoyed the Prudential Center, Eataly & shops are the best combination!
Stayed here with my daughter and future son-in-law around Christmas. Its a great hotel and close to everything in the city.
Good quality and room is very clean.
Great hospitality great food and service was very friendly service.
Polite and very accommodating, we decided to up grade our room after check in. They were more then pleased to assist. We also had a small issue, immediately was corrected without hesitation.
Great location, right next to a shopping mall. Clean rooms and comfortable beds.
I e place to stay. Very convenient to lovely shops and great restaurants. Friendly staff.
Clean rooms, very comfortable bed, pretty hotel but mostly great location for visiting historical sites. We will return.
Because they are using single use plastics for room service instead of normal cutlery and plates. Not good enough in this day and age.
Excellent service and great place.
The valets purposefully block the "free parking" EV chargers listed on their website and plugshare as a incentive. Told it doesn't apply to guests, only valet parking…
Excellent location, fabulous views & all the shopping you need right on your doorstep! Also the most comfortable bed ever! Concierge was really helpful! Would love to be back there now!
Beautiful view excellent service wonderful staff.
Great location, thoughtful amenities, room size was perfect. Free Wi-Fi as a Marriott member was a huge bonus! Breakfast buffet, although a bit pricey, was good — no wait for the omelette station.
The hotel staff were very accommodating. I had last minute issues but they tried everything they could to check me in. The hotel location is also superb!
Loved our stay… rooms were clean as was the entire hotel. Friendly, helpful staff.
Incredible location, great professional and personable staff. Rooms are not dated, they are quiet (we cannot hear the tribe next door). The lounge has a beautiful view, they are always on their toes keeping it cleaned and well stocked (today is the 4th of July and the guest are acting like they just wandered out of the desert). Finally, this is our second stay at this Hotel and our highlight both times is the amazing host in the lounge (29th floor) Memsura. She is always in a great mood and she remembered us a year later… come on who does that now a days? Memsura and Sheraton Boston that is who.
Great hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. Large beds. Great view of the city.
It’s okay… yes the lobby is great but the rooms lack! Stayed two days ago and still have a backache! Decor is drab and bathroom floor was disgusting! The Hilton across the street so much better!
Very accommodating. We were in the city to go the Red Sox victory parade. This hotel worked out perfect! Great location, parade route 2 blocks away! Hotel is also
Connected to the Prudential Center.
Absolutely horrible. We were not advised that he hotel was on strike. We are Platinum Elite and have been treated horribly. The Concierge Lounge has no food. The restaurant is closed. The bar has a very limited menu from 4pm. We tried it and my grilled chicken sandwich was literally black from being left on the grill till it was badly burned. Yet they still served it. The other dish we ordered was beef quesadillas. Served cold and the beef was all fat. Tonight went to the bar for a Grand Mariner. They didn't know what it was and eventually decided they didn't have it. Really?. The staff has been flown in from other properties and they don't know what they are doing. Very time we go to the front desk we get a different answer, if they have an answer at all other than a shrug. I hope never to have to stay at a Sheraton ever again.
Lovely hotel, staff really nice friendly and helpful. Room comfy big and nice view. Location fabulous, easy to get everywhere. Had 2 gorgeous streets running behind it one had all expensive shops on like Chanel, Gucci and the other was full of eating places tree-lined and just lovely. Would highly recommend it and would stay again.
Good hotel, located in very central area and well connected through a Commercial Gallery that departs from the hotel… but definitely expensive (1600 USD for 3 nights without breakfast and Wi-Fi). I had to take it at the last second because the hotel booked and confirmed with Booking. Com was overbooked and the room was cleared at 10 p. M. 00 with family and little daughters in tow. So the price is tied to the presentation at the last second! For breakfast fortunately there is a great Starbucks inside the hotel. Outdoor pool but with tropical style humility and parking in remarkable figures. Use a great App to find parking at acceptable prices (best parking)
If anybody is trying to find good deals on hotels visit HoteIBully. Com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere! I really don't have much to say, which is probably a good thing. It means I didn't have any complaints. It was clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. One thing I liked is the Starbucks in the lobby actually kept decent hours. It's been my experience that often these internal stores close early. So, for what it's worth, the Starbucks inside is good, too. I had a wonderful weekend in Boston. And my accommodation were excellent.
The hotel itself was lovely. The lobby was very nice, the mall being connected was very convenient, and the staff was very friendly. It was a nice evening, so the pool roof was open. The pool water was chilly, but refreshing. Note: the pool only has ladders and a motorized handicap lift, no stairs. My only real issue was that the doors into the rooms were not standard size, so my double stroller wouldn't for through the room door.
Excellent hotel. The staff clearly go above and beyond to make sure everyone has an extraordinary experience with them. They have a beautiful lobby and convention center in the building as well as being conveniently attached to the Prudential Center shopping mall. The rooms were small being how old the building was. However they did a nice job laying out the interior to make sure that nothing felt cramped or claustrophobic. This hotel is in a great location, has great staff, and has some awesome amenities which set it apart from other nearby hotels. Great job to the whole team at Sheraton Boston!

Wasn't impressed with the 2am fire alarm. (The second one in less than four hours)
Excellent location. Super clean. Comfortable beds. Easy check-in. Highly recommend the Sheridan.
Good location. Great customer service upon check-in. Not clean (hairs all over bathroom — tub, shower curtain, sink, you name it. ) Firm bed. Soft pillows. A little stingy on towels. Hot water comes instantly; good water pressure. Paper-thin wall; it's very disturbing to hear voices and water running from outside. Toilet flushing will wake the kids at night. Room is spacious for one person. Room has no heater function; won't adjust the room temperature setting. Too cold. Manager morning is mean & tricky; ask for receipt. Ask for North tower if staying; has river view.
Nice hotel. Comfortable bed. Close to everything. Price was good.
The service here was very nice and helped us out a lot. The room had a really nice view and was a great room overall. Nothing was overly perfumed to the point that it would bother someone sensitive to smells and fragrances. The bathroom was lovely and had a great makeup mirror. It's in a nice location too. The only annoying thing was the fee they charged us on account of the fact we were going to a convention, so don't tell them if you are.
No heat after April. I'm not kidding. And Bostonians think that 60 degrees is comfy. I'm sorry, but for the price, that is not acceptable, "environmentally conscious" or not. I don't like to leave negative reviews. The staff have been very nice, including the one who apologized and offered to send me extra blankets from behind her desktop space heater. Again, I'm not kidding. In the summer, I would likely enjoy the room, which is large with a nice view. And the location can't be beat for a conference at Hynes.
Wasn't expecting much because I usually stay at what I thought were nicer hotels when I'm in Boston, however the Sheraton is worth considering. Yes the rooms don't look as nice but all the important things were as good or better. Comfortable mattress, good desk and chair for working, good water pressure etc. Staff Is friendly and responsive.
We stayed two nights at this hotel. The customer service was amazing! They were very friendly and welcoming. They upgraded our room with out extra cost. We first got a room which smelled like someone had smoked in, when he told them they immediately gave us another room. The hotel was busy as there was many conferences happening at the hotel. It is very close to the subway stations. It is also connected two two different shopping malls via the 2nd floor. Location is great! Walking distance from many shops and restaurants.
I did not stay in the rooms. The conference food was delicious and high scale. I had mix feelings about the meeting rooms in back bay. The chairs were too warm to sit in. The ac sometimes felt like it needed to be colder and most of the rooms were fine. Very nice location with access to public transportation.
The club rooms have some of the best views of the city. While being cozy and clean, the staff was also rather professional and helpful. The workout rooms are some of the best iv used in a hotel. The only issue I has with my room was with the heating/cooling of my room. No matter what I set the thermostat to my room, the temperature remained at 80 degrees. Eventually I just turned the thermostat off as it was impossible to sleep at these temperatures. I reported the issue to a maintenance person, but iv yet to be notified of a fix. Other than not being able to sleep due to the heat, my stay has been enjoyable.
It's cute the staff is sweet helping where ever they could and your in the middle of Boston. The rooms are a good size with a kitchen. The only thing is that the show door is lined up quite right so the floor gets a little wet if you don't pot a towel down. I would love to go back again year.
It was my second day at Sheraton Hotel and 2 security officers came up to floor 9 and started interrogating me if I lived at the hotel while I was using the computer. All while the Persian lady or middle eastern looking lady with the foreign accent who works in the club lounge kept checking in with security to ask him my personal information about which room I live in… etc. I was waiting at the computer for like 10 minutes while the security kept checking back to her and telling her my personal information. I really felt uncomfortable about this whole situation. Then to security she was like, "he lives here? " and starts laughing really loudly. And continues laughing for a while. I really think its unprofessional of her to let out stress on the guests who lives here. I thought this hotel was descent until this happened. And I really do wish the hotel manager to do an investigation into this because I consider it to be bullying. She only picked on me because I looked like an easy target.
On our last stay, we came for a 1 nights birthday getaway. We did mention in the reservation of course that it was a birthday celebration. We arrived a few hours prior to check in and were told it would just be a few minutes. While we were waiting, one of the bell hops chatted us up and found out we were expecting our first child in May. Before we brought us to our room he gave us the most adorable monkey stuffed animal for "the little guy". When we got to our room he kindly put away our luggage, hung our jackets, made sure we had everything we need. Waiting for us in the room was a slice of absolutely delicious carrot cake and a birthday card. Not only do they have the best customer service around, but the hotel is beautiful and has a great restaurant and bar. We made the mistake of not making a brunch reservation (the breakfast pizza is the best) and we're told it'd be an hour wait, that's how busy City Table was on a frigid Sunday morning. If you are looking for a too notch stay in a great neighborhood (close to everything! ) you should absolutely pick the place!
I was only in the Lobby, which was adequate to hold a small meeting of work.
The location is good but they are under construction.
Busy, in the center of all the action. Plenty of things to do within walking distance. Great for families and business travelers alike. Late check out available. Parking until 4 pm on your check out day a big plus. Was there over Presidents day weekend and never waited longer than 10 minutes for anything. Car, elevator, food, drinks, check in, concierge. Comfortable beds, free Wi-Fi, (for up to 3 devices), spacious rooms. Perfect stay.
Beautiful, clean, good professional treatment and you have everything to eat, go shopping and you don't have to go outside the building. I loved it!
A beautiful place with incredible staff. Everyone I interacted with was kind and pleasant and very helpful. The room was great! The bar is decent, my only slight knock is that they over fried the chicken wings a bit but it wasn't that big of a deal. With its great location I would definitely come back!
Most of the people were great. Except at main lobby. The woman who greeted me had a very poor attitude. With the exceptional customer service from everyone else. Why would they put her in the main desk. I felt discriminated by her and I got an amazing room for the entire weekend.
Beautiful hotel, with all the comforts, attached to a shopping center and with Metro stop! Excellent for winter as you never take cold when you use the subway.
Beautiful entrance hall bigger than the Hilton across the street, luxurious middle room. Breakfast not famous. Connects directly with the mall. Very well placed for the tourist.
Comfortable, with good amenities. The hotel bar is affordable and cheap. The room is well designed and everything works well.
Nice rooms, but parking too expensive and Wi-Fi paying as well as it costs money to make our bed every day.
Good hotel: Well placed (central), clean and staff is nice.
This hotel is all about friendly, attentive, caring staff! The room was acceptable at a competitive rate, but it was the doorman, the desk agent, the chef at breakfast, the waitstaff at breakfast, the bellman, the valet driver, ALL were wonderful.
My husband and I were here for a Scentsy expo, staff was very friendly. Bed was very uncomfortable. There was some type of college thing going on so we had to listen to kids screaming and running up and down the hall for a good portion of the night. Parking prices are ridiculous. Watch if you go to the Sidebar waiter took our money and never returned with our change.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton Boston. They allow pets! Don’t take this positive as a negative, we didn’t see any other pets. Very attentive staff, nice facilities including a great sized pool and gym (no hot tub). We even found free parking right across the street (though valet/parking in the building is convenient).
Great location. Loved going to dinner at the Pru without having to go outdoors. Comfortable beds. Great views! Room wasn't ready on check-in, so they offered us a "bigger room". Found out later that the room wasn't real that much bigger and the view wasn't as good as the original room we were supposed to be in. Overall, it was a nice overnight stay.
Fuy to eat M fascino the place, the attentions is nice I would definitely recommend back.
Hotel very clean and well located. Internet incur additional charges or in the lobby. Direct access to the shopping centre.
Nice room but I really don't understand why Wi-Fi wants money for 20 knives a day?
For a high-end hotel I expected the room to look really nice. It was just regular nothing stand out and it was very small. The TV was way too big for such a small room. I've been to other hotels that didn't have as much status as the Sheraton and they were much nicer and the rooms much bigger. I would NOT recommend this hotel from my experience. Maybe other rooms were bigger but I'm speaking from the room I stayed in.
Like most other sheratons, all high standard and good.
Excellent quality Hotel integrated into the back Bay shopping malls system with excellent quality of furnishings and maintenance as well as services. Modern and well appointed rooms. Some of those on the low floors suffer from a poor view on an inner courtyard and mall wall.
Great location & service for a big convention at the Hynes Center. Skip housekeeping & reuse your towel for a daily $10. Coupon great for breakfast off the lobby. Great reward for being environment friendly. Yes, we'll leave a tip for the housekeeper anyway.
My sister was in town for work, and was staying at the hotel. We got together for dinner, and ended up back at her room to talk and catch up. The room was clean and nice, with a great view. The only downside was that the configuration of the bathroom was not ideal, but they were working with a small space so I suppose there weren't many options. I would definitely recommend this hotel to out-of-town guests!
This hotel has some nice rooms and the staff is friendly. The amenities are fine as well, though I didn't make much use of them during my stay. My room was near the elevators and I could hear their motors (not their bells) running all night long. They were the loudest I've heard before. Our toilet was in need of some simple repair and the first night we had only one bar of soap for two beds, which was a little weird. I attended a conference at the hotel and the room for one of our meetings didn't seal properly, so we could hear the loud speeches from next door. They were quite distracting. Otherwise the hotel is in a great location and the rooms were comfortable enough. I never felt the need to complain, it's just the little things added up after a while.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is Starbucks downstairs and you have access to the direct shopping. Watch out for packet shipping. They are received by a post office that charges $10 per package. The location is very central. It's 3 blocks from the train station that connects with NY.
Solid business hotel. My room was a bit dated, with a weird little few inch step up into the small bathroom. A/C adequate, but I prefer to have the ability to keep the fan going overnigh. The lounge was excellent. Always busy, friendly barkeeps, good selection. Location also a plus.
If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… Good location attached to the Prudential Center. Nice large pool and gym. Friendly staff. Our only gripe was we forgot our toothbrushes at home so called down to front desk to request a couple. We made three calls and every person said they would bring a couple up. No one ever came. Finally walked down ourselves and the person there simply opened his drawer and handed us two. It wouldn't have bothered us if we only called once but three times! Other than that I would stay again.

Very nice hotel. Front desk is very kind and helpful. Cleaning crew forgot trash bags in cans. And tries to force themselves into the rooms to clean instead of respecting privacy.
Had a rather mixed experience here. The pros: check in was smooth sailing, as was check out; concierge was friendly and helpful. The room was functional and clean. The cons: had to make 3 calls to housekeeping requesting toothpaste (one on the day of check in and then twice again the next day (! ) despite being assured each time that someone would be coming "right away") Also had an issue with bag storage (left it with them for 2 hours after check out). Despite the tag system, had I not double checked, I would have left for he airport with someone else's suit!
The hotel is located in a great place. There is the Prudential center right next to it where you can find shopping and food. It is located close to Newbury St. Which is where all the great shopping places are. Apart from this… The hotel is beautiful. The staff is amazing.
We were "upgraded" from our king room booked months ago to the smallest room I have ever seen in any motel with a queen bed shoved against the side wall. Could only get in half the bed by crawling up from the bottom. Great exercise for seniors with knee and hip problems not to mention having to get up multiple times at night. Ended up sleeping hanging off the bottom of the bed.
The toilet would not flush properly and made a horrendous noise when you could get it to flush.
Pleasant Terrace on the beautiful roof in the evening.
Sheraton Boston is in a good location with many shop, restaurants around, many in walking distance. Rooms are very nice, nothing over the top. Breakfast is good with buffet or made to order options. Not included in stay, it does come at an extra $$$$ cost! Can't speak to other services. All in all it's a very nice place to stay and would not be opposed to starting again.
If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… The staff was very accommodating, especially Desiree and the other check in staff. The pool was fantastic. The workout area was equally as nice. The north tower's rooms are dated and worn but I suspect they will be improving those as nicely as the south tower rooms. The location was perfect and I would stay here again mainly because of the staff and location.
Small beds, not very comfortable. It was a very nice hotel. A tourist factory.

Excellent structure for the organization of Professional and conference services.
Just perfect in reception, structure of the rooms and service. And then Boston does the rest!
The hotel room, service and food is horrible not to mention the hotel is very overpriced/exsnsive for no reason. So we checked in and got the room, as soon as we entered the room we could see the circle light over the bath tub falling off and we told the front desk, but after 3-4 hours still nobody showed up. Also they give you a new bar of soap when you check in witch is inside plastic, but on top and on the outside of the plastic there was 2 single peaces of human hair. Then the beds linen had single peaces of human and linen hair all over including on and under the pillow. So I told the front desk manager about it and it seemed like he didn't care because the next day when they supposedly changed the linen they're was still human and linen hair on the bed, but now there was also a blood stain on the linen as well. Also, for the price we paid for the room and the bathroom, they seem a bit small and house keeping is far from up to par. Then for the price we paid for the hotel the food weather it be room service or from bar in the lobby (the one right across from Starbucks) is not up to par (not even close). We landed in the late afternoon/early evening, so we decided after we checked in we would go to the bar in the lobby across from the Starbucks to grab dinner. I ordered the quseadilla and the other guest ordered the burger with lettuce, tomato onion, bacon and no cheese cooked medium rare.
If you're trying to find a really great deal on this amazing hotel I'd highly suggest booking it through the website HotelRaven. Com They have great deals for it on there! Such a perfect place don't have enough great things to say really! I went to the Virgin Pulse Thrive event at the Sheraton. The rooms are well maintained and offered a wide variety of setup options. The staff were friendly and the gentlemen emptying the trash. The bar staff were great. Stayed overnight in one of the south tower rooms. Very clean. Good internet connector. Door men were helpful and getting a cab was quick. Bell hop was busy so I had a longer than desired wait to get my checked bag. Would give 5 stars if they had fun towel animals or mints on the pillows. Not much else to be asked for. The clam chowder at the restaurant is not as good as Legal Seafood, but had large chunks of clam.

My father has been working there for over 42 yrs so when I have to go to Boston Hospitals I drop in to see the latest. I love that hotel very classy and accommodating. Rooms r bright there are ple ty of places to do business or read or whatever you like. The ballrooms are gorgeous. I give them 5 stars.
Staying in a king room and it is maybe 200 sq ft. Not much besides a bed, shower, and toilet. 7th floor North Tower has no view besides the wall of the building directly next to it. If you are not a Starwood Preferred guest you will have to pay $9.95 per day for Internet access. Everything you could possibly want is within a few blocks of the hotel. Gym and pool are very nice and have plenty of new machines and towels available for everyone. Large heated pool with a retractable roof if it's nice out that day. Overall nice hotel and location outside of the small room.
My stay at the Sheraton hotel for anime Boston 2016 was pretty good. Checking in and out was smooth and less of a wait than the previous year. The staff was nice enough and room was nice and well kept. I wish more rooms had a mini refrigerator included though.
Great location and great hotel! Beds so confortable. Very expensive parking.
Sheraton was amazing to stay in. I currently live in Boston, but family was in town so we stayed in the Sheraton. The service was very accommodating and flexible, the quality was top-notch and the views of the river and skyline were just breathtaking. Highly recommend staying here if you're ever in Boston.
The hotel is connected to the Prudential center and mall. Some ok food options there, if you walk a couple of blocks down boylston st there are ton of restaurants (touristy sometimes). Go to Newbury st for even better ones. For spg platinum members, they are very good with the upgrades. Be aware that there are a lot of conferences here, so dont try checking in after 6pm and expect good upgrades.
Was very good, respectable employees, and I felt very good when I went.
Originally booked on Expedia and specifically bought a room with a king bed, didn't just request it. Upon check in was given a room with a queen bed and the lady told me there weren't any available. Called Expedia to complain, they called the hotel directly and a lady named Michelle at the front desk said she would move me to a king room. Got my new key cards and went to my new room and it was also a queen. I know the difference between king and queen because I sleep on a king. Did she just think I am stupid? Will never stay here again.
The room was fine. Unfortunately Sheraton had booked a convention of probably 2000 pre pubescent teens for some kind of "model UN" convention, not really sure what that entails. What happened though was hotel management booked on a hallway where we were likely legal adults. Kids were sprinting through the balls and screaming past 11. On top of that, we booked SPG points, yet the hotel charged our credit card, which we had to spend time fixing. Again, room was fine, experience wasn't.
I've stayed here five times for various company events. Pretty standard 4 star hotel. One nice thing is that they give you $5 off food/drink for every day you decline housekeeping service, as part of their eco-friendly initiative.
They used a jammer in the hotel itself to block my personal mobile hotspot forcing us to pay for Wi-Fi. Everything else was fine.
The didn't have complementary wi fi for general guest who are phin 250$ pwr night, they are charging 10$ extra every night for it Of course there was no complementary breakfast. No refrigerator in the room No free shuttles from the airport The room was okay.
Used 2 free night vouchers I had earned and got placed on the 28th floor with an awesome back bay view and club lounge access. Only complaint is that for a Sheraton, the bed is really firm and the pillows are pretty terrible. Otherwise, great service as I expect as an SPG Ambassador.
If any of you guys are looking for dirt cheap hotel deals I would check out HotelRaven. Com I saved a ton of money using that site. Everything you would expect from a large hotel in this price range. Large bedroom with a comfortable bed. Clean bathroom, adequate size and good shower. Safe in the room and a Concierge Service who provided information on Boston. Valet who stored our cases after check out so we could go and do some more exploring. Room did not include breakfast and it seemed costly. No food or drink purchased in the hotel, so I am unable to rate this and we did not use the pool/leisure facilities so I cannot rate these. It has a good location, adjacent to Prudential Centre and attached to a Mall, it is 10 minutes walk to good shopping and 15-20 minutes to Downtown and the start of the Freedom Trail.

Loved this hotel! Customer service was great! Everyone we interacted with was so nice. The location is right by great restaurants, bars and not to mention that it's connected to a mall.
Clean, comfortable and stylish room. Friendly staff. Lots of great restaurants and shopping in the area. Freedom trail is within modest walking distance. Great!
Stayed and payed over priced for one night. Was quoted different prices on the phone once walked to the hotel they slapped forty dollars more in taxes which were not explained by hotel reservations who barely spoke English. Waited 38 minutes in line at only restaurant for food downstairs and with no luck with seating we ordered pizza to go they charged 30% more on service and 15% tip to overpriced pizza. Since there's no other choice for food around hotel come with extra money for deceitful charges and shameful business practices.

RespondThe entrance of the hotel is terrible due to bad a bell boy. Once he know that I am not the guest but just waiting for my friend (given my cheap car) he treated me like a trash. My opinion does not matter much J.
I stay here regularly for business trips. The rooms are updated and don't feel old. They changed all the keys so you just tap them against the door instead of swiping (I think its RFID). Go to Newbury st for even better ones. For spg platinum members, they are very good with the upgrades. Be aware that there are a lot of conferences here, so dont try checking in after 6pm and expect good upgrades. The lounge has free breakfast with lots of fresh fruits. They serve some snacks 5-7pm also. Only complaints: always high price due to constant influx of conferences. And, Wi-Fi is inconsistent depending on what room you stay in. Overall this is my preferred hotel in Boston, highly recommend it.
It's a lovely place with very good staff. Connected from inside to the mall and convention center, this is the place to be, especially in the winter time. I would definitely recommend the Sheraton at Boston. The only less star is because I found the swimming pool brackish. PS — the rooms with a view of Boston on the river side are worth it.
This was an absolutely horrible experience. I was with a program for students, and there were 80+ of us. First of all, Wi-Fi was supposed to be free under some agreement between the hotel and the program, but the hotel kept making things difficult for my roommate and me by getting the reservations confused. First, our program director mentioned we might have some reservation issues after 5 days, so when we checked in, we asked about it. Of course they said they had nothing in their accounts that there'd be any issue. But 5 days pass and someone tries to tell us that we have to switch rooms. Obviously we refused since we had no time or warning. After that though, our Wi-Fi stopped being free, which was a huge pain. We and the program director spoke SEVERAL times about it to front desk and a couple times they said it was fine, but it never worked again. Not to mention the Wi-Fi in general just sucks. The hotel lobby Wi-Fi never works no matter what, and in the room you can only have 3 devices on at one time. Honestly, I expected WAY more from the Sheraton in Boston. (also, can I just say that there is no complimentary breakfast, the Starbucks closes at 2 pm which is ridiculously early, and the elevators move so fast I get vertigo) The real clincher was that my roommate had her bag stolen. It was lying at the very end of the hallway of the business centers. It was unattended for less than 2 minutes, and there were students and teachers all around.
Rooms were nice, view from the room on 24 was great, staff were good and helpful, and on hotwire we got a good weekend rate. Only reason I knock it down to 3 stars is that Wi-Fi isn't free. Not the end of the world, but considering 3 star hotels tend to give it for free, I think it is taking advantage a little bit.
It was a fun time in this hotel, everything was modern, very close to a mall. And the maids were perfect. I loved my stay here.
Although the rooms were clean and relatively nice, for the price the room was very small (with a view of a brick wall) and nothing was included. Wi-Fi was an extra $10, parking was $50, local calls on the phone were even extra. For nearly $300 a night I was expecting better. I've stayed in economy hotels 1/4 the price with bigger rooms, larger beds, free Wi-Fi, parking, breakfast, that also had a fridge and microwave and just as clean. You can only attribute so much to "location".
The Sheraton is our favorite hotel in Boston, by far. From the moment you check in, to the moment there is a problem, the hotel has defined customer service systems in place to ensure all guests have pleasurable and enjoyable stays. During our recent visit, the hotel manager Jason went absolutely out of his way to ensure we had a crib in our room. I can't say enough about his professionalism and willingness to help a family in need. Thank You Jason! If you are traveling with children, the Sheraton is absolutely the best place to stay. The hotel is connected to an outstanding mall and it's perfect for a stroll with the kids. I highly recommend the Sheraton and we will definitely be back the next time we are in Boston.
I find sheraton Hotel class we were 18 floor gorgeous views and everything clean and perfectly laudable. I was at the World Championships and therefore know the sheraton hotel.
