Always a great time when I go there, I never stay on the strip the resort is beautiful I recommend people to stay here because scenery off the lake is relaxing.

This hotel is beautiful! The pools are great, the bar staff is very attentive, front desk is great. I stayed here for seven nights and only received towels, or room cleaning on our second day. All the other days we had to call the desk or find a cleaners cart to get clean towels, toilet paper and empty our garbage. We literally have 12 dirty towels in our room. $200 resort fee I’d have at least liked towels. It’s definitely a spectacular view and sitting on their patio at night is amazing!

May be just Covid but room was I’ll prepared with many amenities not present in room. When asked housekeeping to bring never heard or saw anyone. Had to go get myself. Restaurant out of items in middle of the day. Beautiful facility and location but service way below par.

I had a very disappointing stay. The quality and upkeep is extremely unacceptable, especially for the price. I felt so uncomfortable after noticing gnat-like bugs all over the ceiling. Once calling down to the front desk, they asked (more than once) if I had left the door to the balcony open, like somehow this was my fault. I got downgraded as far as quality of room, but that’s all that was done. There was no compensation or anything to make me feel more comfortable. Staff wasn’t empathetic or genuine in their response to the situation at all. My stay was ruined. I went to their bar and purchased a low quality over priced drink, to go sit out by the fire pits outside and saw the trash under the table which made me even more annoyed. On top of that I noticed one of the bugs had gotten into my left overs from dinner an hour before I noticed them. So I couldn’t even go back to my room and eat my food. What you pay for is truly not what you get at this place.

Beautiful place to relax but lack of service and rude personally on the front desk lobby every single time we ask for directions and questions we have …. Early morning we ask for extra towels tree times during the day to get some late y that evening. Too expensive for that.

This is a beautiful hotel. And it’s sooo nice to be able to go to Vegas but not be IN Vegas and take the kids for a quick family getaway… however this hotel needs ALOT of the work in the cleaning department. That includes the rooms, esp the bathrooms in the rooms…. Tubs floors; even the doors had a layer of dust. The elevators are super dirty as well as the common areas. The pools are so fun but also need a deep cleaning. Also why is there not an umbrella at every Lounge chair by the pool? It’s 120 degrees NO ONE wants to be in the direct sun. There are really only a handful of umbrellas. This hotel has every potential… beautiful big nice amenities great location but it really needs to take it up a notch and I don’t mean 1. And it’s not cheap to stay here, for the price I expect more. Marriott, you should have higher standards and this isn’t the first Marriott property I have felt like this about lately. On a side note, the Italian restaurant in the Village, Luna Rossa is delish!

POSITIVES: Great room with a beautiful view. When I checked-in on 7/5, the frontdesk staff was very friendly & welcoming. Even got a complimentary room upgrade & a free drink voucher for the bar! Thank you, Gold Elite! The pool was awesome (esp on those 110°+ days) & the pool waitstaff were very friendly & prompt. And, when I ordered room service, it came within a reasonable time, all hot & fresh. NEGATIVES: At first, my room didn't have a fridge, & I did have to call or tell the frontdesk about it several times. I finally got one about 24 hrs after my arrival. However, when I checked-out on 7/8, they gave a me a $50 F&B refund for my inconvenience. Much appreciated! Another downside was the wait time at Rick's Cafe. They were severely understaffed, esp due to the large capacity for the dance competetion. For just myself, I had to wait up to 30 mins for a seat if I wanted to eat there. And, that's why I opted for room service a couple times instead (which worked out for me better, anyways! ). OVERALL: Great place! Would love to come here again (hopefully when it's less busy). Thank you to all the staff at the Westin Lake Las Vegas for all you do! 😁

Loud, dirty, smells like sewage. Terrible service. The worst Marriott property I’ve ever stayed at. Absolutely shocked this is a Bonvoy property. Stop using Covid as an excuse… we’ve stayed at other bonvoy properties that still offer services such as valet.

Great Customer Service and Great Food!

We had fun staying here for the spring break. Our boy loves the kids pool and the water slide. The Restaurant Grill foodies are delicious too. We had a good lake view room and we love it. We will definitely come back. ❤️

Very nice view, quiet, family friendly, smoke fee. We love the pool because they have 2 separate pools especially thats made for small kids and heated. There were 3 lifeguards switching every 30 mins. People at the bar will ask you if you need some drinks so you dont need to go up and down. They have a small playground beside the pool and a basketball court. They even have some sports act games for kids/adult like chest, toss game and table tennis. Nice crews! We’ll definitely come back!

Our family staycation was amazing. It was the first time we have really been out since the pandemic began. The level of service was great : from registration to room service, to pool service, everyone was friendly and professional despite the added safety protocols. We felt very safe and this was the ideal end-of-summer trip before school starts. We will definitely be back. Happy to be a Bonvoy member!

They racial profiled my whole family it really sucked because it was such a beautiful place. It really hurt to see an establishment that my family frequents many time get such racist treatment. They literally came to our room the night before and said they needed their money before we checked out even tho that is not Marriotts policy! I was shocked and mad. All the manager said was her has seen “ Many people like us “ who didn’t pay before checking out! Soo humiliating and wrong. Not only did the manager come to our room when brought three police with him as well like we are some type of Hoodlums! We had more then enough money to pay for any room their plus some! I feel soo wronged from that hotel itself hurts!

Excellent location and very scenic for an out of city break! Also great for corporate events. 30 mins to airport. 40 mins to downtown. Good quality restaurants nearby in the Village, (Italian looking! ) Enjoyed the 25 mins walk. Or by the hotel shuttle!

This place is amazing! Beautiful lake views from the rooms. And tha staff is great from the first minute you step up to the front desk they are AMAZING! It's like going to an all-inclusive resort and not leaving the country. I just can't say enough how impressed I am.

Amazing well off the strip so it’s secluded. Peaceful but very family oriented too. I’ve got a 4 year old and a 2 year old and they had a blast!

Bad customer service, from front and bell service, housekeeping arrived late to clean our room but too soon to show up to clean our room for us to check out. Too much inconsistency with the information they gave you! Better go to Hilton they have better accommodation and customer service.

The entire staff is eager to please. The property is gorgeous. I love that it is non-smoking and no casino. I felt very comfortable letting my kids roam and play. Rooms are great.

Griselda was terrific at check in. I made a mistake and booked the wrong day. She was fantastic with the help of her supervisor. The pool was sparkling clean. Drinks delicious. Room spacious. Food yummy. Staff on point. A perfect staycation.

My husband took me to the Westin lake Las Vegas boat rental tour for labor day. I found the experience of registering for the tour a bit disorganized — there was not clear signs of how or where to register, and a lot of people were confused. I think they could work on this — but not a huge deal as we got registered in the end anyway. We got the pedal boat, and I'm not sure it was the right choice for us. I consider myself to be decently fit, and I was pedaling hard in what felt like a pretty inefficient boat. I'd say rent a kayak or even a paddle board if you are looking for less of a workout. That being said, the boat was pretty cute and had a storage area for our things, so that was nice. The lake was beautiful and felt super clean & peaceful out on the water. I didn't stay at the Westin myself, but from what I saw, the building is gorgeous and the pool/play area was pretty big & nice.

So the we stayed here labor day weekend and here's is what my take is after reading reviews. Yes the food is over priced! Rick's is good for breakfast and everything else was not good. On sunday the main pool was out of service and green. So all guess had to go to the kids pool and that was all bad. Also they won't serve you food only it you purchase a Cabana! I have been to many resorts in the past and never heard of the rule. On Saturday I called down and see of they have a shuttle to go in to the strip and no they don't but Hilton does! Oh yeah if you stay at Hilton they have the village. If you want to see the fireworks you have to walk drive or rent the paddle boats $$. If you are trying to choose between the Westin and the Hilton I would say the Hilton as they have the village which has more choose to eat.

The Westin Resort was perfect for us and our young daughters. We stayed here on our way back to L. A. From Zion National Park. It was away from the strip, does not have a casino, no smoking allowed, is on the lake which has boats, paddle boards, etc. Available, and the pool has a water slide. There is also a small market and shop close by which I believe is you can take the hotel shuttle to as well. Our family loved staying here and every worker we spoke to was very polite and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Spent the day with colleagues doing a team building event. The location is beautiful and the facility is very nice. Second visit in a year and both times there was some minor construction going on but even that area was clean and didn't effect our visit. Our company had lunch catered and the even though it was buffet style I was first class in appearance and taste. Better then most high end LV restaurants. We only interacted with a few staff members but very nice and professional. The entire facility including the parking areas were spotless.

The Westin Lake Hotel and has everything you want from all the other hotels and casinos in the Las Vegas area without all the traffic congestion, noise and crowds. The Westin Lake Hotel and Casino is surrounded by beautiful scenery from lush green golf courses, plenty of water and some nature like ducks and other birds. The Westin Lake Hotel and Casino has several good places to dine or pick up some foods or beverages such as coffee, tea or alcoholic beverages. This is a family friendly hotel for everyone to enjoy. I recommend anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life, family or couples. 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

This is an independently owned and operated franchise that is co-branded as a Westin. We arrived at 2pm, having requested early check in before 4pm. With a full hotel turnover between events, I was fine with our room not bbeing ready early. 4pm. 5pm. 6pm. 7pm. Finally got a room at 7:30pm. "Check in time is the earliest your room might be ready" we were told. No manager on duty. Not enough housekeeping staff scheduled to turn over the rooms. And staff not empowered to help their guests. At least we got the right room. They had overbooked doubles. So, lots of people with party of 4 got king size beds. They were offered complementary roll-aways. That makes 3, not 4. Again, hotel was full, rooms were preassignef, and staff had no power to resolve issues. I actually felt awful for the staff. Their management set them up for failure.

After traveling back from our granddaughters graduation in Oregon we found a room through Expedia at The Westin Lake Las vegas Resort and Spa at a great rate. Thought we would treat ourselves the last night. Uggg… after going to dinner at Rick's their restaurant decent except for having to get up numerous times to refill my water glass and the creme brulee trio we ordered was melted liquid. We got back to our room exhausted ready for bed… the room air conditioning not working properly. Had to call front desk and had to wait for house engineer to come into the room to take out the filter which he said was dirty to leave out for now because he said it would be another 30 minutes to get new one. He manually set it lower said it should cool off. It took a while but never got really comfortable. Through the night noises like rattling pipes and the toilet kept running broken handle… both kept waking us up. Oh then to finally fall asleep and to be woken up by a very very loud dog barking across the hall… had to call front desk. Then all of us went to bathe and absolutely no wash clothes… another call X 2 to front desk to get them. This was the one morning on trip we wanted to sleep in and relax. No such luck. After all that asking for a late check out… they gave us a whole hour. Nothing done at checkout to address all the problems even after sharing with the youngman of our frustrations. Oh well they don't care we were just one of many in their pond.

We enjoyed our weekend getaway with the family. Hotel staff and service is great. Poolside staff & service was by far the best we've experienced. Rooms are nice and clean with comfy bed & pillows. It would be nice if the Westin offered discounts or deals for some of the outdoor water activites they have near by like the kayaking & rentals and also its a bummer the bars close by 10pm which is why I'm rating it a 4 not 5. By the time the kids go down not much adults can do without the kids.

We had a great time at this resort! Unfortunately we only had one night, so we will have to come back again. Its a beautiful hotel, right on tbe water. Great service, restaurants, room was nice and spacious. They let you borrow electric bikes, that was so much fun going around. Great area, perfect for families. Next time we will try out the kayaks and the paddle board too!

The Westin Lake Las Vegas was a nice place to stay. Our room faced the lake, and even with all the people outside, when our door was shut it was still quiet inside. The rooms had good lighting but the TV was difficult to use due to the remote, and many channels were fuzzy. There were plenty of water activities to do which was great. We stayed for a company event and they did a water show, which may not be standard. We had a great time.

Summed up in three words: relaxing, comfortable, and memorable. I don't much like the Las Vegas strip so I've never really enjoyed going to Vegas. The Westin changed my mind. Located in a beautiful little valley that is surrounded by mountains and Lake Lass Vegas, I felt like I was in Florida or better yet, Florence Italy. The whole area is Italy themed. It is not fully developed so you have to drive a bit for a good variety of local food options, get gas, or other stores. At the same time that fact makes the area more chill and has a great resort feel to it. I loved relaxing by their two pools, renting a kayak on their beach (not actually part of the resort but connected to to) and enjoying the lake. I did eat the resorts own cafe and had a great meal. And I loved the entrance to the resort. That is definietly not the most important aspect of the resort, but it made me feel like I was far from my daily grind before I even parked my car. I would gladly book another stay here.

Great family resort stay we had here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The condition and cleanliness of some of the facilities was why I couldn't give it five stars, but I would recommend this place. It has two big pools, an artificial beach on Lake Las Vegas, a great view of the Lake, and the restaurant Rick's Cafe is actually really good, just pricey.

Great place to stay with kids while visiting Las Vegas. The rooms are nice and really comfy, and not smoked in like most hotels in Vegas. They have three bars and four or five restaurants with different food options. When we arrived their computers were down so we got vouchers good for free drinks or desserts. They have three different pools: two for adults or adults with kids, and one for young kids. There is also a water slide, which makes it a more fun experience. Also, during the day you can rent a boat or a paddle board to take out on the lake nearby. Fun times, will come back again.

This place is like a mini paradise. I highly recommend booking a lake view room. We booked a premium room with the lake view and it has a small balcony off the room. The balcony has 2 chairs and a little table. Perfect for breakfast outside or watching the sunset with a drink in hand. The rooms are a great size. I wouldn't say that the average room is luxurious, but they are clean and comfortable. The bathroom has a nice waterfall shower and shallow tub. Not ideal for baths. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is fairly well kept, except maybe some cleaning that could be done in the elevators. The resort area is huge and offers lots to do if you just wanted to spend the day there. There are 2 pools and a kiddie swim area, but that was not open when we were there. The lower pool is great for kids though b/c it only goes up to about 3.6 ft and has a water slide. Drink service is offered at the lower pool if you aren't able to go to the upper pool area where the bar is. We went at a time that prob isn't so busy so we were able to get a few chairs mid day with a lot of other available spots. There's several rentals for you to take out on the lake like paddle boards, paddle boats, or a small boat. We've really enjoyed our stay so far and would love to return again when we are in the area again.

We were looking for a dog friendly property in Vegas and wanted to bring our road bikes too! We found this property that charges $50 for the entire stay, and assigned us a room on ground floor for easy outdoor access with pups. We ended up with a corner semi private patio overlooking the lake. We were close to the dog walking path where there are dog poop/ bag trash stations. We thought the valet and bell staff were very helpful with bags and storing our bikes and fetching as needed.
We loved the buffet breakfast, pools and Snadsabar food served at pool area.
We were delighted that there was a trail head we could cycle to for the 40 mile River Mountain scenic route-bike and pedestrian only.
Bed and pillows get an A plus. Cleanliness of hotel was superb.
Only negatives…
We could hear our neighbors a little. And our checkout invoice needed to be reviewed and totally overhauled for the mistaken charges. But the invoices was fixed with no issue by staff.
We live this place and want to go back!

This place is perfect for families of all ages. The kid pools are the perfect depth for our 4 year old so we don’t have to worry every second she’s in the water. Our 8 year old loved the basketball court and since there were so many kids the pick up games were a highlight for him.

As locals, my wife and I took our family of six to the Westin Resort at Lake Las Vegas for a Spring Break "staycation". The rates were very reasonable and included an option for two adjoining rooms. We were especially impressed with John Padilla at the front desk, who answered all of our questions and welcomed us warmly. — The rooms were clean and quiet, the resort facilities were great, and we even ate at the on-site sushi/streak restaurant, which was fantastic (though a bit more expensive than we hoped for a later family). — The pools were large and perfect for families (separate large pool for families; another large pool more for adults), though poolside seating was a bit scarce. We used kayaks on the lake (included with room) and wanted to try SUP (i. E. Paddle board), but we were disappointed to find that they were $25/hour per board. Overall, I would highly recommend this hidden gem for a relaxing and fun getaway near (but not in) Las Vegas.

Stayed for a girls weekend with 3 other women. It was fantastic! Very friendly, easy going environment. It was a nice contrast to the strip which we visited since it's not too far. The lake is beautiful and there are so many amenities! Kayaking, biking, nice pools, great buffet, golfing, etc. Honestly fantastic experience.

Beautiful property! Restaurants are very good! Mountains, golf, water… beautiful area. Outdoor pools nad hot tubs were clean and nice. Our company (Zoom Media) has had 2 sales conferences there in the last 4 years, I hope we go back again real soon! The rooms were very comfy with lots of room. Meeting rooms were nice and the food at the banquets was excellent! Only negative is that the fitness center/room could use some upgrading. 5 star property!

Wonderful resort! Who thought a place like this existed in Nevada. Who needs the strip? My wife and I booked a massage for a Monday, and we had the spa all to ourselves. The massage was great! We ate breakfast at Rick’s Cafe. The food is pricey but had large portions. Definitely worth it! Free Wi-Fi. Free parking. Great views! We can’t wait to go back!

Hotel is very nice. Great views and grounds. The location itself is isolated, so you have little choice but to eat on site If you don't have a car. Restaurant hours are not ideal and reservations are required in the main restaurant. Staff was friendly, rooms clean.

We stayed in the presidential suite. Check-in was at 4. We arrived on time and was told that our room was not ready. After an hour and a half wait, 5:30pm, we inquired about the room and was told it still wasn't ready because it still needed to be cleaned and some light bulbs needed changing. They let us go to the room but was told to expect the engineer to change the bulbs. Immediately upon entering the room, it was apparent that the room had a blown fuse due to the fact that none of the lights worked in the living room. After an hour, the maintenance man showed up and just let himself into the suite without knocking. It took another 20 minutes to fix the fuse. The presidential suite is advertised as having a balcony, but really it's just a large window that you can place one step out onto. The suite includes a kitchenette but bring your own plates and silverware or the staff will charge you if you ask for more than 2 plates. The manager told us that most people bring their own silverware and plates but I am unaware of any family that travels with plates and silverware. I stayed in the suite with 3 other adults and 2 kids. The room was able to accommodate us with the exception of blankets. We called room service to bring us more blankets. After just over an hour, they finally showed up with one blanket and said they couldn't find anymore. So 2 of us slept under the robes that were provided in the room. We stayed here for the New Year's celebration.

We love coming back to this hotel and it's our go-to hotel for weekend getaways. The location and hotel are wonderful and our kids love the pool and water slide while we enjoy the canoes! One of the main reasons we come back here is the front desk staff. Every time we've come we've been greeted by Matthew, who recognizes us by now. Last visit we arrived with a larger party having booked several rooms. Even though we arrived later in the evening he was able to find us rooms that were all close to each other. As an extra bonus he was able to get us one of the rooms at the very end of the hallway where the kids wouldn't bother other guests as much. Impressive thoughtfulness that other hotels usually don't offer! We'll be back!

Nice resort with magnificent outdoor seating areas. Coming off the lobby you can find a multitude of seating areas that include fire pits, fountains, and lake views. IMPORTANT: The resort fee includes a free kayak rental. You should use this benefit and kayak around the lake. It was a great stay. The only complaint is the walls are a bit thin. Other than that, all is good.

This was our second stay at the Westin, we were here two years ago. It is still as great now as it was then. We love staying here because it is nice and quite and more comfortable then any hotel on the strip (but still just a quick 25 minute drive to the strip). My husband and I travel a lot and out of all hotels we have stayed at in the USA this is by far the best. The amenities and scenery are second to none.

Really enjoyed this resort! Warm, friendly, great pool and Hot Tub. Excellent pillows and comfy bed, nice clean and great views! A variety of places to eat in Resort and great coffee in room. Kayaks available for free to enjoy Lake. Paddle to "The Village" a trendy Tuscan style area tp walk about, no vehicles. Restaurants, a French Cafe and much more. We will return for sure.

What an amazing week spent here! I was here for a work conference, but will definitely be coming back! The rooms were comfortable and well decorated. The customer service was amazing, from the front desk to the bell hop, the restaurant servers to the banquet staff were all so accommodating and friendly. The restaurants all had amazing food with lots of options and the banquet food was as well. Beyond the services, food options and rooms, the setting was exquisite! From the quaint and cozy common areas to the amazing outdoor patios with expansive views of the lake, mountains and resort. What a refreshing experience!

Stayed in January 2016. This is a beautiful resort located half an hour from all the hustle bustle of Las Vegas. In every manner an Anti—Vegas, this resort is a lake side paradise. Calm, serene and filled with nature's beauty. Only resort in Vegas where it's worth paying the resort fee as it includes amenities like free kayaks, boats, preferred golf course rates etc. Icing on the cake is the five star service you will receive here. From registration desk to hotel lobby everybody you meet is warm and friendly. I am in love with this resort. Best resort I ever stayed in.

Quiet resort about 30 min away from the main Las Vegas strip. There is an adults-only pool with a hot tub and a children's pool with a nice slide. The slide is free and very popular with the kids and adults. Lots of fun. There is a Cafe that serves drinks by the adults-only pool as well as a server that walks around taking your order pool side. There is no gambling in the hotel itself. They are currently remodeling guest rooms as well as the rest of the hotel. It did not interfere with our vacation. One hour of free kayak rental on a beautiful calm lake surrounded by beautiful homes. Golf Course is right down the street. Rooms were clean and comfortable. After the sun goes down many of the adults gather on the patio beside the lake to enjoy drinks and social time. They have open fire pits and couches. Very nice. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for a mini staycation, the location is great and away from the busy city. Check in was a breeze, and was even offered an upgraded room. Was notified ahead of time about renovations on property, which was a good heads up. The rooms are decent, my only complaint would have to be the bathrooms, the tub/shower was motel size and didn't seem to fit in the remodeled room. I was very disappointed that their was not pool side service, the only real reason to come to the these resorts to hang out by the pool is to have poolside service. You had to physically walk up to the counter to order your own drinks and you can take them back, looks like the only service was catered to just those with cabanas, which were all empty. I watched the guy stand around literally for hours, but would not bother with anyone else in the pool area. That in itself enough would make me try another resort that does offer that service.

Just had a reunion here and the service was fantastic! Matt at check-in was friendly and very helpful. We had reserved a King room and we're given a double (computer error — showed that it was a King). Asked Matt about it, no problem he changed our room immediately and before we could even get back up to switch rooms, housekeeping was there to help us and check out the bed situation. Our new room was great! Clean, newly renovated, overlooking the pool. All in all a great stay!

I had one of the renovated rooms, and cannot complain at all. Great view, comfortable bed, and clean and quiet room contributed to good night's sleep… Breakfast buffet is just excellent, with wide variety of fruits, omelet station, and helpful staff. If you're looking to get some peace and quiet away from the Strip, this is your place. Additionally, temperatures were at least 7-10 degrees cooler by the lake, than on the Strip:)

It was very secluded. We asked for and received a newly renovated room and the view was awesome. I would have liked for both pools to be open later and the beach area and water could have been way more manicured. Finally the bathtub in the newly renovated room we were in had rust around the drain… But all in all it was a beautiful location and experience. We will come back to experience the resort after the whole multi-million dollar renovation is finished if God is willing. I'm sure it will be spectacular.

The accommodations and service are top notch. The pools and lounges made for an incredibly relaxing vacation. There were plenty of kids during our visit, but we had no trouble finding relaxing quiet places. The bed was a little to firm, and the meals a little overpriced, but I would gladly return for another stay.

Absolutely loved staying here. I ended up with a lake view room and it was a beautiful sight. I loved the shower (rainfall and handheld attachments) the room I stayed in also had a fridge. The staff was very friendly and I enjoyed Ricks breakfast buffet (omelets and waffles made fresh). Saturday night they had a movie (toy story) playing out by the pool and I thought that was pretty cool. I enjoyed everything about my stay from the moment I pulled up to the moment I left. I would definitely return.

Disappointed. We had heard from a friend that this place was so much fun. My wife and I checked in shortly after 7pm on a Sunday after driving 5 hours. The first disappointment was no outside food, drinks, coolers allowed. The rooms don't have refrigerators or microwaves. We looked at the menu prices at a couple of restaurants there and they ranged anywhere from $15 for a burger or sandwich to $58 for the highest price steak. Good thing we had a late lunch. Rooms weren't bad. They were clean and the bed was comfortable. After getting our baggage in we walked around to check things out. Lots of areas to sit, relax, and eat or drink. We decided to check out the pools. The pools looked great and would have been a lot of fun had we gotten here before 7pm when they close the pools. Seriously!? The pools close at 7pm? You have to stay more than one night to make the pools worth while. Check in is at 4pm and the pools close at 7. They open again at 8 am but you have to check out by 11am. 3 hour windows on either side. I guess no swimming. Not worth while to bring children here for a one night stay. Most all other activities cost extra. Since there was nothing else to do we went back to the room to watch T. V. If the channel wasn't in HD the picture was fuzzy and crap to watch. We spent about $120 for a lake view room. Not the most spectacular. Add the $30 resort fee and any added activities we are in more than I'd like to have paid for basically a room.

We were there in 2013 taking our vacation from our annual vacation with a rowdy group on the Strip. We snagged a deal on a Deluxe King Suite and it was wonderful! We had a little confusion when we added another night while we were there but the staff was wonderful in working with us to sort it out. It was raining half of the time and there was flooding to the Lake which we could not utilize it as planned. However, hanging out by the pool, walking around the Lake, resting near the palms, fountain or fire pit, talking to the ducks, ect. Was what we needed. Some great eating too! Rick's Cafe was nice and Marssa — excellent! Highly recommend this resort!

We enjoyed our stay. It was quite a ways from the strip but some people like that. It is very kid friendly but the kids pool and playground were under construction. This was the reason we booked there so I was very disappointed. The staff were very friendly though. I want to send kudos for Omar at Rick's Cafe. We had dinner there the night we arrived. We were tired and hungry (1 year old and 4 year old, grandma, me and my wife) and Omar provided above and beyond levels of service and friendliness. I meant to do it sooner but have been very busy with work and travel. Please let management know that Omar left a great impression and we really appreciated his friendliness.

Nice place off the strip if you want a resort feel without the casino. It's a bit older and there were some small things. Bugs! We had a great balcony but there were so many bugs. When I asked the front desk they offered to spray, but I didn't want to breath bug spray all night. A screen door would have been a nice touch. Service at the express cafe was less than stellar, I was never greeted or acknowledged while the cashier was "fixing" the register. No one offered to take my order and get it started while I waited for them to fix it. Another person standing behind me wad greeted and offered for his order to be taken before me, it was odd. The pool was great and spacious, the gymwas on the smaller size worth older equipment and in need of some TLC. One of the rooms had no working lights and there was a lack of mats, bosu, etc. Also nothing to clean the equipment down with pre our post workout. Overall I would come back, food in my opinion is a tad overpriced for what you get, and that was for the bar area.

After traveling across the country for a conference at the Westin (3-HR time difference), we are now on our 3rd room this evening (10:43pm). Rooms 1 and 2 were overrun with mosquitos! While the staff here was extremely polite and did everything in their power to make us happy, we were not expecting to be blood donors on this trip. It's easy to see, judging from the remnants of dead bugs squashed on the walls, this is not something new. This may be a seasonal occurrence, but had we known this in advance we would have stayed elsewhere… away from the lake! Be warned and call in advance to ask about mosquito season. March may be a month to avoid altogether.

We have really enjoyed our stay at the Westin. We wanted to nice getaway, but without all the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas. The Westin at Lake Las Vegas is just perfect. Beautiful resort with a North African theme. Wonderful patio for a relaxing drink while taking in the picturesque scenery.

Pretty nice resort. One of the pools was closed for renovations which was a bit disappointing. Food options are limited to on-site, quite expensive restaurants. We chose this spot because we were looking for something away from the strip and liked that it was on a lake. Resort fee of $27 per day seemed excessive given several things being closed (pools, hot tubs, some activities).

This place was very nice and I received very good and accommodating me very good. Gladly he would return.

We accidentally booked the wrong Westin, but we decided to try the place anyway. This hotel is exactly where you send your passive aggressive mother-in-law; it looks great from the outside, but when you dump her at the room and leave she'll find a partially furnished room (no sitting chairs, or benches), exposed box spring mattress, gunk beteen the glass top and the wood of the nightstands and desk, filthy smears on walls, stained carpet, rusty handles in the shower, moldy tiles in the corners of the bathroom and a smell that you'll pretend not to notice if she brings it up just to f with her. She may not mind the the fact the satellite T. V. Will require her to call the front desk to resolve the movie ordered, that after several attempts by their "engineer" to fix, will be unfixable and she would be stuck with basic cable. Or that the Wi-Fi in the room may still be dial up. Bonus, you don't need to visit her there, because won't be able to get in touch with you without cell service. Best part, if your mother-in-law complains to the management, she'll get nowhere just as we did not with Jennifer who very unapologetically said that we couldn't get a refund even though we tried to leave within 10 minutes of seeing the poor quality after check in. We cancelled our second night, but put a pin in the place for when we visit Vegas with the In-laws so we know where to cage them.

The stay at Westin Lake Las was beautiful & peaceful, great getaway from the excitement of the strip. Staff here is awesome, bartenders & waitresses we're great and friendly. Room was nice, the view is breathtaking every morning. I would definitely stay here again.

I came to the Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort for New Years Eve weekend with a group. The check in experience was great and the room was beautiful. It's a beautiful hotel with great views. However the customer service from some of the staff leaves something to desire. They have a a shuttle that takes you from the resort to the Westin on the strip. One of the drivers was annoyed when we called to reserve the 11pm shuttle and his demeanor and attitude said the same when we got on. Also, throughout my stay I continued to get charges on my card before I even checked out. We had $40 room service and my card was charged $425. When we spoke to a manager they claimed this was a hold based on my "spending habits". We ate at the hotel about three more times and my card was charged upwards of $800 for less than $50 dining. When we spoke to a manager again she stated it wouldn't happen again. Checking out was by far the worst experience. The girl at the check out desk was very rude. When she told me my total I explained my card had already been charged and showed her the charges on my phone. She went as far as to pull up the monitor off the desk and put it on the counter to show me she didn't have my credit card on file. After calling a manager everything appeared to be resolved. It was inconvenient and ended a great trip with a sour ending. If you choose to work at a hotel maybe you should be more personable since you are working with people all day.

The location is pretty far from the strip, though it is less frenetic as a result (the reason we choose the resort). It's about a 35 minute drive to the strip, so as long as you don't plan to go back and forth a lot during the day it's fine. The rooms are nice, but nothing special. Housekeeping was not very thorough, there were whiskers left over from someone shaving in the shower and food left in the fridge that had spoiled. Our room also wound up facing an outdoor party that played loud music until 10:30pm the night we arrived. After a long flight from the eastern time zone, this was a pretty annoying experience. All in all, a passable resort but not as thorough with the details of customer comfort as I would normally expect from Westin.

Beautiful resort. Restaurants in the resort was great as well. 20-30 min outside of the strip so it was a bit far. Wish there were more shuttle times that took you to the strip but overall great experience. It costs about $60 to get an Uber to and from the casinos.

Stayed at the Westin for a friends wedding. They did not disclose that there was a resort fee. Our room had stains on the carpet, lamp shades were ripped, stains on the comforter on the bed, the pillows were stained and old. When we tried to call the front desk we realized the phone did not work. We called from our cell phone and was placed on hold for 5 minutes two different times. We asked to change rooms due to the run down room and the noise of kids running up and down the hall and slamming the doors. They gave us a new room, carpet was cleaner but still run down looking for a Resort hotel that charges a lot of money. We had a refrigerator in our first room but none in our second. We had to fill up a garbage can to keep our food and drinks cold. The ice machine on our floor then stopped working. All in all I was not impressed and will not be returning nor would I recommend it.

We are Las Vegas locals who just like to get away. My parents enjoy a family vacation away from the weekly chaos in town. But anyway to make a long story short they paid close to $500.00 a night for the large villas and I will say that the rooms looked pretty nice when we walked through the door, but let me be the first to tell you that the T. V's that they have in all the rooms are for decoration only because even after calling the front desk and them sending down 2 engineers (who were very nice by the way) they could not fix them. I also find out later from a different source that the management is very aware of this issue about the tv's. Well if they are aware of this why would you still rent these rooms? The second thing I would like everyone to know is that around 11:00pm the room starts to shake due to the outdoor sprinkler system I guess? And last but not least the kitchen area smells of sewer so bad we open the door leading outside and close the door leading inside. This has been the worst experiance I have ever had at a hotel like this. I feel completely sick about the money my parents have spent on this weekend just to bring the family together. You can bet that this will be the last time any of my friends or family will ever stay here. If you plan on renting out any of the villas room 1907 or 1908 let me tell you that the tv's don't work! I'm telling you this because the management won't.

Came here Aug 22 2015 for our anniversary and we loved every minute! The room was quite and clean. The beds were comfy and roomy. The lobby was breath taking, way more beautiful than the surrounding hotels. We were able to enjoy the big pools and dry sauna in the spa. It felt very luxury. The lakeside was small but cute and each guest received a one hour kayak or paddle board rental. We weren't able to eat at Marsaa the restaurant I wanted to dine at cuz they were temp closed for summer vacation? Kinda strange. So we went down to the city center and had a blast at a few fun diners.

Resort is beautiful. Housekeeping, front desk, and breakfast staff were all on point. Went to breakfast and by the time I came back 20 minutes later the room had been cleaned. Booked as a package deal, which included the resort fees and free breakfast buffet, but otherwise those items are a bit expensive for what they are. Shop around for a deal, though, and you won't be disappointed. Being served drinks while in the pool was expensive but very nice. We'll be back.

The hotel is great. Be aware that they charge you an additional $32 after you check out for "resort fee's". I prepaid months in advance for three rooms and expensed it because it was work travel. Now I have to go back and do another expense report and AWKWARDLY explain that this is not an incidental, that its a resort fee. I feel cheated and taken advantage of. I now have to do more work, because "prepaid is not in fact prepaid", an its cost the company roughly anther $200 to process another expense report.

The area is beautiful! Loved the pools and lake view. Staff was very nice and helpful. My only complaint would be the food. For a resort the food was below par. The breakfast buffet was $20 a person and they used powdered eggs. The prices were as expected but food fell short. They did have a decent pool side bar and grill. I suggest them for lunch and dinner if you eat there.

Worst vacation ever! They ran out of towels and poolside seating. I asked rec management if they could provide seating, he suggested I bring my own chair. Who brings their own chair s to a resort? Especially when they charge ridiculous resort fees.

I love The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa! I took my boyfriend here for his birthday for a weekend, and we had an amazing time, and some memorable moments. The staff is very nice, friendly, and helpful, the check-in and check-out are very fast, and without any difficulties in spite of bad reviews I read prior to my visit of this resort. The location is absolutely beautiful, the hotel is of a small size, very private and lively comparing to the Hilton resort on the other side of the lake. I absolutely adore the Moroccan design and architecture which is very detailed. The rooms are beautiful, and very clean. Both pools are pretty large. There is also a private beach. The pool staff offers complimentary refreshments, and towels. The restaurants are quite pricy like pretty much everything at the resort, but I expected that. My absolute favorite is the porch/patio with fire pits and fireplaces, the turtle fountains, and palm trees overlooking the Lake Las Vegas, stunning stunning view! Thank you Westin for an amazing weekend.

We may have arrived on the busiest day of the year since we showed up on Sunday on Memorial Day weekend. The sea of people flowed through the extensive hotel and out onto the well-groomed grounds. We had plans for our time in Vegas and headed out Monday only to arrive back at our hotel and discovered it had returned to the sea of tranquility that it had advertised itself to be. In other words, all the sports teams left leaving behind a relaxed atmosphere. We were able to enjoy the fire pits while looking out over Lake Las Vegas. We also got in some pool time at one of the luxurious pools. Our room was comfortable and had wonderful pillows. Because we had extensively planned out our trip we didn't have time to take part in the water sports or golf the hotel offered. The hotel also had a grand piano that continually played old ballads made famous by Frank Sinatra and others. It was a nice touch. The Wi-Fi worked fine and is part of the resort fee that is separate from the room charges. Be warned you will need a rental car because it is about thirty minutes from Vegas. Sure, you could depend on the shuttles, but I wouldn't advise it.

Let me start off by saying that we are native Vegas dwellers. Booked 2 nights here this last weekend. I PAID for a Premium Lake View King room. Checked in at about 6pm and was told they didn't have any of those rooms available. So they comped us the $30/night resort fee and gave us a different room. Got to our pool view room that had an adjoining room, which the door was PAPER thin. I could hear everything the neighbors were talking about with my TV on. We went back downstairs and kindly asked I they could please move us to a room that wasn't connected to another. Imagine my surprise when they didn't have an King size bedrooms available and my 6’3” husband had to sleep on a double sized bed. What a joke. The breakfast buffet was horribly slow and unorganized with cooking up omelets and waffles. They had ZERO massage availability until Tuesday (went to The Hilton and had a couple’s massage instead. Which, by the way, was amazing). We sat out by the pool for a few hours and started to get a little hungry. Asked the server if we could order food and he said they would not serves us food unless we rented a cabana for $200 because they have problems with the birds… Okay so someone sitting in their cabana 5 feet away from me can eat but I cannot? Granted, I understand that this was not the servers fault so we ordered some beverages instead. The staff was extremely friendly through all of our troubles. The rooms are very outdated.

This place is beautiful. Hands down the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I'm a director of Housekeeping at a Hilton property and the room was very dusty. TV, headboard, picture frames and thermostat. To a average everyday guest you would probably never notice But I feel like I'm always at work so I did. I little far out from well everything about 2.5-3 miles from a main street then another 3-5 to anything else. Absolutely love this place! Hope this helps Side note this is a edit to the original post. The front desk is nice but give no information about the property at all.

When I arrived to the airport and called hotel for my reservation this hotel has great customer service and try to solve problem, they are expert and relive pain they feel you are tired and after flight you need rest and place calm you down from crowd, best place for relaxation and getaway with million $ resort and spa service I recommend to all my friend specialy booking through agoda great booking service.

This is a very nice and comfortable resort just a 20 min drive from the Vegas Strip. The area around this resort is sort of deserted and almost on the verge of becoming a ghost town but that is a different review. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and the Westin signature robes. The have several restaurant options and we tried the Japanese restaurant. We saw the drummer of Journey there. The food was great and as you would presume a little pricey but worth the money. They have a nice heated pool and jacuzzi. You can rent basketballs and play on the courts. You can rent kayaks and kayak on the lake. At night time, they have nice fire places and lounging around the fire.

We love this place, we have been coming here for the past 6 years for fall break and have had no complaints. Our kids love having so many different options, it's quiet and clean and close enough to Vegas if you want to leave and go eat or shop. The help was excellent, we had a rude maid one day but not a big deal. The property is amazing and very clean. Good rates, very happy.

Absolutely the WORST hotel experience I have had. I was told I was getting a "premium" room and I definately paid a premium. Heavenly tub = the shower tub combo I have in the guest bathroom in my house. Stay at the Hilton, same price room is a 2 room suite with a huge tub! Whole room I was equivelant to about a motel with shabby furniture and no fridge again this is a "premium" room. Thank you Weston for ruining my wife birthday present I will go back to staying at the Hilton the 3-5 Times a year I come to Lake Las Vegas.

I took my wife for her birthday weekend and had a GLORIOUS time! It was just us (without the kids) and we enjoyed the view from our room, the resort had so many areas to walk and enjoy the resort, we spent time watching a movie in the pool area at night and the restaurants were amazing! SO AMAZING that we will be there for my birthday THIS WEEKEND with the whole family and we can't wait to share how great this resort is with our children! We look forward to the many activities, friendly staff and just having FUN in our own backyard STAYCATION! (We live in SW Vegas). LOVING IT! PS: The beds are absolutely HEAVENLY! So comfortable. Can't wait.
