My stay at Le Pavillon was without a doubt an unbelievable experience. The hotel is breathtaking, location was conveniently located, and customer service was top notch. This was my first experience in NOLA during a girls trip and how lucky we were to find such a gem! We spent most our days out on the town but felt so welcomed and comfortable at the hotel that we spent our early evenings enjoying a drink at the bar and even a few meals. Paul, our bartender was fabulous and offered excellent local restaurants to try. We had one minor issue in our room and within 5 mins it was resolved by the two onsite maintenance staff with no further issues. The GM even went the extra mile to touch base with us to ensure we were completely satisfied. 5 star service at its best! Lastly, the beds… you melt directly into the most incredible sleep you’ve ever had! The attention to every detail inside this hotel, cleanliness and the customer service make this hotel stand alone above all others I’ve visited. Thank you for an unbelievable experience! I’m already booking our next girl’s trip!

Beautiful building and clean rooms! However, poor customer service. Avoid "eat, play, park" plan as the "eat" portion grants a small off-menu breakfast… and that is assuming they actually give you the voucher at check-in. They tried to double charge me for parking at check-out. They claimed to fix it and then still charged me anyway. Had to call back to settle it while trying to enjoy NOMA museum. Don't count on the rooftop pool; area is small and filled up quickly with people playing loud rap music. Not worth the money paid.

In all the hotels in all the cities I have stayed at this is by far my favorite. Staff, especially Greg, are beyond helpful and friendly. We loved it so much we extended our stay.

As a surprise from my dad, we spent the weekend in the Poydras Suite on our trip to New Orleans. Le Pavillon is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The attention to detail in its construction is breathtaking. The beauty is not the only allure. The staff all around was spectacular! From the friendly and helpful valets and doorman, to the bartender upstairs by the rooftop pool. They all went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! I would highly recommend this hotel to any of my family and friends. PS, they serve hot chocolate and pbj sandwiches at 10pm every night. Just a quirky fun tradition!

Lovely old hotel. Fairly well kept and clean. The staff is accommodating and friendly. I do wish they had a dresser with drawers of any sort for personal belongings however. The Deluxe King room did not.

Halls very musty smelling, but rooms were fine. Lobby under construction which was disappointing as there was no place to sit and relax while waiting for a car/taxi etc. Or just to. Relax while having the evening sandwich. Mattress was not great. Room very pretty. Loved the PB&J bar at night. Staff very helpful.

Stayed here for our anniversary. I was not sure how far it was from the French quarters but we loved the fact that there was a rooftop pool. We arrived Friday and requested a free upgrade. They honored our request and we were pleasantly amazed by the room. It was beautiful in an old style way (see pic). We wanted to invite people to stay with us, it was that big. French quarters probably 4 city blocks over. Great hotel, great room, I made a great choice in selecting this hotel. You will enjoy it. Also there is some renovations going on downstairs but it shouldn’t matter. Also loved the peanut butter bar they open at night, and the complimentary champagne and chocolate strawberries and grapes were amazing.

Very nice hotel. Beautiful architecture. Good food at the Restaurant down stairs. As well as an outstanding breakfast buffet. The rooms really small though. The beds are not meant for to adults to sleep in comfortably. However, if it's just two ppl its perfect.

Beautiful hotel. Room was nice, huge bed. Rooftop pool was very cool to experience at night. I recommend parking in a garage around the corner to save money. The one dissapointment for us was that they are renovating the lobby, so it was boarded off a bit. PB and J at night with hot cocoa was a fun treat, but get down there early to avoid a line.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are lovely. The complaints that I do have is that house keeping could have been better. The toilets underneath the rim were black from not being cleaned properly and that when house keeping came to clean the room they didn't put out fresh wash clothes nor towels. I had to go down and request room service to come and put fresh towels in our room and her reply was that house keeping stops at 4:30. It's ok that they stop at 4:30 but your job isn't complete when rooms has no fresh towels or wash clothes. I am highly disappointed in the house keeping.

The decor is really nice but our room was small. The double beds were comfortable but small. Beware if you plan on sharing. The bathtub was dirty and the cable was not working when we arrived. We called to request more towels and waited over an hour (had time to take a nap). When we called back the front desk attendant admitted to forgetting our room number. After expressing our disappointment with the room and service they credited us $100 for the night. They serve complimentary pb&j's, coffee, and hot chocolate at 10p. The chocolate was very good. Valet service was inconsistent. Some were not attentive (not opening car or hotel doors). Valet was quick to retrieve the car when requested. Overall our stay was a mix bag.

Beautiful hotel. The staff is amazing. The food, especially brunch, was awesome. Only issue I had while there was with the toilet in my room. It was gimmicky. Also there was a flag banging outside my window all night. But the rooms are beautiful. Roof top pool is the coolest. Worth every minute spent there.

The hotel always offers a pleasant and elegant atmospere. Rooms are especially nice. The hot chocolate and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (as a late evening snack offered by the hotel management) are truly memorable. I had a very enjoyable stay. I can't wait to return.

This hotel is probably one of the most beautiful I have ever stayed in. (•̪ o •̪) Unfortunately when we were there their bar area was closed due to filming but they did accommodate guests by opening a makeshift bar in one of their ballrooms. The rooftop pool is rather small but understandably so. The staff was polite however we had an issue with our room key app that was never resolved. (｡•́︿•̀｡) For some reason we could only ever get one room key to function at a time but it was no major crisis. This is also a short walk to one of the local streetcar stops which was very nice. 乁 (ᓀ˵▾˵ᓂ) ㄏ

Great hotel. Clean and quiet. Location is amazing! Right in the middle and walking distance to anywhere you need to be in new Orleans. Only issue is that I had hot water issues the entire time I was there. No matter when I was taking a shower… The water was either cold and never got hot, or it was warm for about 2 minutes before going cold. Water from the sink however, was still hot. Bizarre!

Stayed for 5 days. Initially it looked great even though we had to wait to get our reserved room ready. There was no hot water in our room. They failed to clean our room and replenish towels 2 of 5 days. Mold growing in the shower. Bathroom door handle fell off when you closed it. Staff was very rude and never a smiling or happy face in 5 days. Wow at $189/ night. They also shut the water off for 6 hrs one day. I didn't let it ruin my trip but will not recommend this hotel.

We went down the Le Pavillion Hotel for the playoffs and it was a great experience. Downstairs there is a small bar and the hotel has a lounge area for anyone who is looking to burn some time. The rooms were clean and we were given the keys on time. Once inside the rooms had a nice bathroom and a comfortable mattress. When went out that night and when we got back they even had a little sandwich stand for anyone who came in late and couldn't find a place to eat. Overall, the hotel had a variety of great features and it is truly about the little things.

The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are very comfortable, but rather dark. The plumbing needs some love. I had issues with my toilet the whole weekend as well as several of the other guests that were staying there in my group. Despite that, the brunch is awesome, the rooftop pool is beautiful, and the staff is very accomodating.

I was having a great visit here until I was told that there are no microwaves available to be brought up to our rooms and no one can warm anything for us downstairs in the kitchen or dining area. I've stayed in many hotels in my life and this is an absolute first. That means if we want any chance of eating warm food we have to order it fresh from room service or go out for every single meal. I still have a hard time believing this is accurate for such a high rated, expensive hotel. Also, the valet is understaffed so it really functions like self parking (for $39/day). The rooms are spacious and nice, but our toilet was not clean upon check in. This was quickly remedied when we mentioned it, though. The hotel is full of unique antique pieces and artwork that are breathtaking. The rooftop pool is amazing. The location is also really convenient. Finally, our food from room service was pretty good. I had tiny, but flavorful crab cakes and a green salad. Overall, it has been a mixed experience. The negatives could easily be remedied. Edit: I am regretfully lowering this review from a 4 star to a 3. My experience has taken a turn to terrible. This is my 2nd morning of a week long stay. Emergency Alarms sounded last night at midnight instructing all guests to report to the lobby for instructions. The announcement stated to avoid the elevators. So the entire building climbs down many flights of stairs only to arrive in the lobby to an evasive and confused front desk staff.

Gorgeous, historic hotel in a great, central location. The staff were incredibly helpful. The room was clean, updated, and comfortable. The beds are heavenly. Loved the 24 hour room service, and spa water in the lobby daily. The breakfast omelet was delicious. The view from the rooftop pool is a treat. I will definitely stay there the next time I am in New Orleans. If you go, eat at Luke around the corner too.

The decorations we're phenomenal. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and full of historic details! The staff was so friendly and very accommodating. The room I stayed I was small but clean and lovely. The bed was so comfortable! I slept better then I have ever slept in hotel. Now let's talk about the complimentary pb&j and hot chocolate at 10pm every night. What a treat and a fun ammenity. The story behind it is lovely. I highly recommend this hotel.

The front desk was helpful and sweet! The hotel lobby was beautiful. Our suite was Classy and very New Orleans styleThe bed was very comfortable and fairly quiet for being fat Tuesday. Things that could be improved were cleanliness. Our toilet and toilet seat was not cleaned and the light in the bathroom had bugs in the light fixture. I would expect more from a high-class hotel as far as cleanliness. Be aware it is $40 for parking here extra.

Nice hotel, friendly staff and available (in general). The location is interesting, 5 minutes from the center without the hustle and bustle that comes with it. Very average Bar. The rooms are decent but really without more, we changed it at the end of the first night.

Nice historic hotel, a lot of cachet, but the service is very average. We were disturbed on 2 occasions, including once at almost midnight, by a staff member who knocking at our door to bring us stuff we had never asked for… when we left, the staff member responsible for calling us a taxi was so Busy watching his TV show that we were not sure he had well called said Taxi…

My wife and I stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago when we visited New Orleans. We loved the location, we just wish that there was parking available. However, there is parking very close to the hotel, it can just be pretty pricey. Probably the best part of the hotel is that it was in walking distance of everything but it was just far enough away from the main strip that the price wasn't outrageous. The historical architecture of the hotel was great! Very pretty. The concierge service was also very helpful. We would definitely recommend it.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in late December for two nights. When our stay was over we checked out. I asked about a parking fee and was told because the promotional that we had, our parking was free. We were given a receipt for the total of the room and NOTHING more. Now two weeks later, the charge for the room finally shows up along with a charge for parking. How can you charge us two weeks later for something the receptionist told us there was no charge? Why wasn't we notified before the charge especially if our receipt says paid in full. We have tried to contact the hotel about the issue only to receive an attitude and no resolution to the problem. I will be contacting my travel agent and inform her of this unfortunate experience, and ask her to NEVER book us there again. Just really put a sour on things.

Such a beautiful hotel! The lunch buffet I attended had enjoyable food, efficient service, absolutely wonderful staff that waited and prepared and prepared the meals, plus the atmosphere was simply perfection. By all means, get the cook to prepare a Pasta for you because it is wonderful! I will be going back next year. Also, the brunch on Sundays starts at 8:30 AM if the Saints are playing at the Superdome, so be mindful of that. They also serve Mimosas during those Sunday brunches.

This hotel is amazing, especially for the price. The hotel is gorgeous. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff, everyone I have met has been kind and courteous and on their game. The food is good and I have a great time every time I stay here. The rooms are imaculate and big, the bathrooms are big and aesthetically pleasing. The showers are finished in marble and tile and it has two nice sliding glass doors. You don't feel like you're suffocating in there, which is exceptional. They actually have shelves in the bathroom for you to put your toiletries. Oh and it's only a 12 to 15 minute walk from the French Quarter. The peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and hot chocolate are perfect after a night out. My only qualm is that the last time I was here there was a hot tub on the roof and now there is not. It's a small thing though, outside of that 5 stars all the way.

Phone didn't work. TV service kept cutting in and out. Room service served food in these weird little picnic boxes. The staff was incredible. As far as location it is prime if you want to walk around and do touristy things. Personally, that isn't my favorite part of the great city of New Orleans, but it was an enjoyable stay.

I have been coming here every year for 3 years and have observed the difference between the current management and the previous management. I was pleased that the aesthetic of the hotel did not change dramatically even though the renovation did modernize it considerably. Some of the previous hotel staff remain, though our party does miss some of the ones who are no longer there. It feels like less of a family, but the service is still quite good.

My family and I were guests at the Le Pavillon Hotel from November 9-12, 2017 and we had an absolutely awesome time in New Orleans. The exceptional service that we received at the Le Pavillon, is one of the main reasons why our time in New Orleans was so amazing. I want to specifically recognize Manager, Ms. Paula Carter. She made sure that we were well taken care of and she was extremely understanding when we rescheduled our trip due to a family emergency. She is so courteous and professional and I am especially sensitive and grateful when it comes to outstanding customer service, because I try to do the same in my profession. If there is some type of compensation or special recognition that can be bestowed upon Ms. Carter, I would like to recommend that she receive it. It really is hard to get exceptional customer service today, so it is worth noting when it happens. My family and I will definitely be returning to the beautiful city of New Orleans, and because of our extraordinary treatment, we will be returning to your beautiful hotel as well. Also, as added bonus is that my 14-yeard old son, Caleb absolutely loved your PB& J bar. The only criticism that I have is that you may want to change the verbiage that the pool is heated on your website, since it's not. He was a little disappointed that he could not sample the pool.

I would have given this three stars if I had just not been in complete awe over the beauty. The only thing is I ADORE hot baths. So the first strike is, they don't have tubs. The second and third strike (because it's absolutely unacceptable) is no consistency in hot water. Sometimes the water would be warm, sometimes it would be freezing. Even turned all the way to hot. My showers lasted about three minutes due to the fact that I would be freezing. It is really unfortunate that such a beautiful and cozy hotel can't even offer hot water. The beds are extremely comfortable. The rooms are very spacious. But this hot water issue had me TORE UP!

Very lovely historical hotel within walking distance of so much New Orleans has to offer. Loved the PB&J bar late at night. Such a fun idea. We also did breakfast twice at the hotel dining room. It was delicious. I do wish the biscuits and gravy were on the buffet — they were probably the best I've ever had! We didn't have any issues with the staff; however, a woman on our floor certainly did and there was a lot of yelling from both parties. It was a bit of a deterrent…

The rooms are not bad. The bed is very comfortable. The pool is in the hotel but it is not climatisada and even though it was summer you could feel some cold. Able and attentive workers do not expect very big expectations is comfortable even that something old.

I stayed tonight and the front desk agent and the security guard was the most friendly staff I have ever met. This was by far the best hotel experience I have ever had! They have went above and beyond to make make me and my boyfriend experience the best. I wish I would have gotten there names but they knowvwho they are. Thanks again!

Wonderful service. The rooms were beautiful, the food was delicious and it is honestly the most gorgeous hotel I've ever been in. I love the pb & j nightly snack they serve. It's such a cute tradition. The staff is great!

A great place to stay if you are in town for a concert or game. The elevators are slow. The decor is nice. Our room was a decent size, but the bathroom was a bit small. I'd stay here again.

It was a very nice hotel. The only thing that sucked about it is that it wasn't very handicapped accessible. There's no lift or permanent ramp that goes into the building. The door man worked his butt off constantly having to put the aluminum ramp up every time I wanted to go outside to smoke. The bathrooms aren't very handicapped accessible either. Unless you get an ada room. And even with one of those they had to bring me up 2 banquet chairs so I could take a shower in the walk in shower. But they were very accommodating. Just make sure you call a few months a head of time to secure a handicapped accessible room if you need one. Other than that I loved the hotel. The staff were very sweet and always asking if they could do anything to make my stay better. In fact I made good friends with a few of them that I still talk to, to this day.

Excellent a little older but a nice hotel, clean and the staff was excellent. Had some difficulties with the key to open our door but that was just something new they were trying out. I do wish the bar was open at night every night, but I guess most people go out. They do have this cool PJP NIGHT ritual which gives you an amazing hot Chocolate and peanut butter and jelly sandwich every night between 10-11pm this was our favorite as we got back to make sure we have that. Highly recommended place to enjoy your visit in New Orleans.

I was in town last weekend and my stay was horrible. First time being I had New Orleans and I will say that I will never stay at this hotel again. Couple of reasons. One, the staff was definitely rude. Bellhop was very disrespectful because he was rushing me for a mistake that the front desk made. The day we got there, my room was taking by someone else and I booked months in advance. So once I got a new room, the bellhop that had my things, disappeared. Couldn't find him. I was fed up after that point. For him to just leave my things unattended, not professional at all. Elevators broke down down twice within a 24 hr period. Only good thing about the stay was the room and the valet. Valet did a excellent job. Finally, the day I checked out, I had to wait almost 2 hrs for bellhop to come get my things from my room so I can checkout. First off, it shouldn't take that long and for two, I ended up bringing my own stuff downstairs. Once again, at this point only one elevator is working. I called for bellhop twice and they never showed. But once I get downstairs, bellhop asked me do I need help? Hell no. Where was you when I called? Don't help me now. My opinion, y'all need to shut down and renovate that hotel and hire a whole new staff. Maybe I'll consider on coming back. Other than that, never again.

Love the room scheme, it's refreshing to not see beige all the time! Beds are comfortable. Shower has nice water pressure but did have trouble getting hot, but may have been the time as I was showing at 630 and it did warm up about 5 min in. Large closet. Great location!

Hotel experience was great with the exception of the waiter in the bar. He refused to acknowledge us. Dining room was not open, therefore meals had to be in the bar, it rained (flooded) while we were there and we had small children so venturing out in the flood was not an option. He never once tried to help us. Lucky for us the manager was there and eventually waited on us and served us our meals. Room was clean and aside from this one person entire staff was awesome. I would still recommend staying here.

Beautiful, visited on Halloween horse nights, probably the most interesting ones for a hotel considered haunted by ghosts. My partner says especially the night of the 31st to have had nightmares all night and to have felt something strange… curious since we did not know anything about the hotel until the airport taxi driver informed us… I still slept very well!

We lived the "Belle Epoque" of New Orleans in this hotel with a very typical setting and personalized attentions. Located in the quiet in the French Quarter very lively and colorful in the evening (not to forget to visit), it offers beautiful and spacious rooms. The meals are very good and neat, but unfortunately no continental breakfast. Only a brunch buffet at 19.90 + Beverages + 20% tax. To do absolutely: City Tour, the bayous for the aligators and the French Quarter on foot. Not speaking English, we were able to benefit from the good plans and the precious and attentive help of the charming Monsieur Igor, a more certain for this hotel! A big thank you!
