I stayed at this property while in NOLA for a convention. The property is amazing. It is inside a historic building. The property is with walking distance of great restaurants and activities. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I will recommend this property to anyone I know visiting NOLA.

Nice older hotel people above us sounded like a buffalo pacing the floor, morning noise outside window at 5:30 a little annoying but overall a nice place wish the bar and restaurant was open during our stay, maid service great! We were close to everything get ready pay over and over for parking valet over $38 f0r hotel, parking garage $20 across the street pretty hotel just older decorated nicely for Christmas wished more things were open resturants and such.

Love the place, specially the room, with a complementary breakfast, friendly staff, clean environment, thanks for a very nice experience here in New Orleans.

On the edge of the french quarter makes the price more reasonable for nola. Easy access parking across the street in the garage always a plus in this town. Full breakfast included.

The location is in walking distance of most everything you would want to do in the French quarter and surrounding areas. Rooms are very quaint but updated. One of the best beds I've stayed in on our 3 week road trip. The service was great other than trying to get toilet paper. One of the mechanical maintenance men had to bring us some since house keeping was in a meeting — very grateful to him. Overall I would stay here again.

Very clean, great service, friendly staff. Our room was very nice. Nice, convenient breakfast. Location was fabulous. Only a short walk to the French Quarter. Recommend that you eat at Daisy Dukes just a block away. Delicious local food.

A really nice room at a really good price. Was surprised how large the room was. Seems to have been recently updated. Not much activity in the bar but with Bourbon Street just down the road that wasn't a big deal for us also found the bed and pillows to be spectacular. Only limited items available for purchase and no pool or complimentary umbrellas forced the 4-star rating but it's really more like four and a half. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is nicely up to date with a few odd exceptions (old painted shut single pane widows). Everything was clean and neat. Very close to the French Quarter.

Great place to stay. Clean well positioned. Very friendly and helpful staff. Uninsulated Windows allow for significant street noise but that is the only complaint.

We came to town for Wrestlemania and I am so happy with our hotel choice! Perfect walking distance to the Superdome. So accommodating. We came into town a little early and I called ahead and got on the list for Early check in. When we arrived they had a room ready so we were able to change and get our day started. Loved that they had a snack store when we got back late at night. (Just wished they sold Dr Pepper). Beds were very comfortable. I'm a light sleeper but never heard any outside noise. Breakfast was delicious. They have a big variety to choose to eat. Staff was very courteous. Will definitely stay here again.

We got a room for our honeymoon, paid for valet parking dropped our bags off to walk to Bourbon Street. We knew we’d be drinking, so we responsibly had everything taken care of so we weren’t driving. We got back to hotel and was told by the girl at the front desk we needed to find somewhere else to park. Evidently our truck is to big. Even after finding out we were under the influence of alcohol the girl at the front desk told us to get in our vehicle and go park it somewhere else. I can’t believe that we were asked to drive under the influence of alcohol. She could have told us prior to us leaving the hotel, and drinking. Unprofessional and even said we were the problem. Unbelievable!

The hotel is comfortable and very clean, located just three blocks from Canal and Bourbon. It says it is in the French Quarter but it is technically in the Business District. The staff was lovely. The towels and washcloths were terrible though. They felt like sandpaper. The hotel has free breakfast and it was adequate to hold you over until your next meal, but I was not a fan of gray turkey sausage and thin cheap flavorless bacon.

One of the quietest hotels I've stayed at. That's about the only plus. Otherwise, very unassuming. Staff was underwhelming. Use parking decks in the immediate area, as you will save at least 15-20 dollars a day and avoid having to wait for a spot in front of the hotel to open up in order to drop your car off for the valet to pick up. I wish I had taken my own advice after the second day, but alas, I kept hopping for better (quicker) service. At one point, hotel staff told me to leave my car in front of a fire hydrant… nope, not doing that. When I complained about the service, I got a shoulder shrug from the staff.

Great location and Breakfast. Clean updated rooms with double king beds. The surrounding of the hotel during the week 8am to 6pm have a school across the street with children making a lot of noise and Friday /Saturday night has loud music and people partying until 3 or 4 am.

Horrible service. 3/4 people are over 21 years of age… the other person is 20 and served our country for two years after high school in the military. But since he is under 20 we were not aloud to stay here after already booking. Also, instead of helping us cancel the hotel booking they gave us a number to call on our own and it was the wrong number. After hours of driving we found out right when we got here the policy when online the policy stated one person needed to be 21. As we sat outside to call the number two workers from the hotel came out to sympathize with us.

Great location to Mardi Gras parades but a bit of a walk to French Quarter. Nice large clean rooms. Allowed us to stow bags after checkout for free. Friendly staff. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Amazing hotel, pillow top beds, centrally located. Couple block from Canal and Burbon St. Highly recommended and will definitely stay again. $20 daily parking right across the street and you can come and go as you please. Great breakfast selection also. Excellent front desk customer service. Once again, 5 stars!

Nice, clean hotel with exceptionally friendly staff and a variety of breakfast options. I think my only complaint is that they said to hang your towels if you didn't want new ones, but then replaced them daily anyway. I guess that's nice, but I prefer the more energy conscious option. In all, a wonderful experience. Location is great, too. Within walking distance of many places but without being on a busy street.

Wonderful experience here. Really helpful staff. Christmas morning the young lady working went out of her way to direct us to landmarks and other points of interest. Being in the service industry for over 20 years I can see she is top quality employee. Please make sure she knows how good a job she is doing.

The room was nice and clean, breakfast was also good. However, housekeeping won’t clean the room unless you request it. No one warns you about it when you make the check in and there is not a sign or something to let you know.

Very friendly staff and very clean! Rooms are just as they are in the pictures. Beds are comfortable. Staff cleaned up messes non stop to keep hotel clean. Only thing off was the valet parking price did not match the price listed on their website, charging $13 more a day than website said, but they did give me the price listed on website when I questioned it, and they did so with no attitude or problems. I recommend this hotel, just know your prices and make sure you dont overpay for parking.

Great location, great room, friendly staff, everything was fantastic until we checked out and left. I realized that I forgot my dress in the closet. I called the hotel five hours after we left, talked to the Front desk and explained the situation. She put me on hold and went to check with housekeeper, Miss Maria. She said that Maria did not find anything in the closet. Unless someone entered the room between our departure and housekeeping, the dress would remain in the closet. Maybe we did not tip enough.

Very attentive FOH staff and super nice. Had laundry services and house keeping and appreciated the extra they went. Above all that this hotel is a Marriott Hotel and doesn't get the credit I think they deserve. Pretty Chic rooms as it was once a warehouse and turned into loft accommodations and a pretty elegant bar and restaurant for being a smaller chain. Would definitely recommend to others. Oh and Alicia at the front desk, super awesome. Thanks.

New, modern hotel. Clean! Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast with roomy eating area. Valet was slow, both dropping off and retrieving car. We walked to Bourbon street from hotel. 10 minute walk max. Felt safe.

Stayed here going and returning from Houston to Atlanta best experience. Staff was the best. My reservation was lost but Josh went above and beyond to locate my reservation. I see him being in the Marriott management group very soon because he has great managerial skills.

We enjoyed this place. It appears to be newly built or newly remodeled. The rooms are slightly small and awkward but that won't prevent me from staying here again.

The rooms are beautifully decorated with a really nice shower. The bed is comfortable and the rooms come with a 50 inch TV. Breakfast selection is the best I've had in America thus far. Front desk were very polite and friendly. Great location. Just a couple of blocks from Canal St and an 10 minute walk to Jackson Square.

Beautiful hotel and great location. Josh was very helpful and gave great tips for people on vacation. Breakfast was full of options, which was much appreciated. One breakfast attendant, an older lady (did not get her name) always spoke, went beyond and above, and kept everything clean. We enjoyed our stay!

The hotel was great, location was nice. The room was inviting and relaxing. My only complaint is that people were taking up the front of the hotel while they unloaded and took their sweet time. Seriously, they disappeared for a long time and made multiple trips inside. We paid for valet and they didn't, I was hoping for a little more convenience. I would suggest the front staff ask those checking in if they cannot unload in one trip with a cart that they make the block and pull to the side of the hotel at least. Breakfast was good and having the bar there was a huge plus.

My family and I arrived a little after 2:30pm to check in on 7/1/17. We took advantage of the valet parking for $34 per day. The room was nice, clean, and quiet. Around 6:15pm we called for valet to bring my mid size SUV. We waited close to an hour and still no vehicle. The front desk attendant told me that due to the vehicles being parked two blocks away and the traffic because of the Essence Fest, it was taking longer to get the vehicle there. I decided to walk a block up and get a taxi to take to the superdome so that we didn't miss anymore of the show. I told the front desk attendant that he could tell valet that they could turn around because we would take a taxi. At check out on 7/2/17 valet brought my vehicle back and I immediately noticed my gas tank was opened. As we started loading our bags, I noticed the actual seats in the back were lifted, something I didn't even know my seats were capable of doing and my gas tank was on FULL. I had left my tank on a half of a tank. This leads me to believe that someone from valet had been using my vehicle to uber tourists, to make their extra money in my vehicle. I spoke with the manager over valet and he told me had reviewed the camera and my truck hadn't left the garage since it was first parked there around 3pm. Now how was that possible if we had called for my truck and I was told it was in route to pick us up during our nearly hour wait.

This was a great hotel. Be aware there is a charge to valet park (the easiest) with unlimited in and out. Or pay to park in other garages without it. The location can't be beat. Just blocks from the stadiums or the French Quarter. Trust me it's easier to just walk in this city or take a handsome cab. Streets are narrow or blocked off or one ways. But the room was incredible the staff was amazing and good breakfast in the morning.

Nice place but old. Zero amenities. No good places to eat nearby.

You would be wise to stay away from this hotel. The staff was friendly and the location was great, but that's about the best you can say. The rooms are dingy, poorly equipped and clearly in need of renovation. The bed and pillows were lumpy — obviously had seen better days. Lighting was dim so it was hard to read. All in all — I'd avoid it if I were you.

EMPLOYEES STOLE MY ENGAGEMENT RING AND XANAX I didn't feel safe wearing my engagement ring around the city, so my fiancé placed the ring in his medicine bottle. When we went to leave, my fiancé went to remove the ring and found that it was gone. The hotel owner ensured us that "he would take care of it", but his insurance company denied the claim and the hotel owner will not return our calls. As for the room, there were stains on the couches and rugs and the room was pretty run down. There is construction going on through the late night (around 2am) and started very early (5-6am).

This had to be one of the worst places I have stayed in in along time. When I checked in and asked about parking they said it was off site about 3 blocks away, I asked do you have a shuttle to bring me back "NO" it was drizzling out so when I got back I was wet. Ya should have brought an umbrella but wasnt expecting to have to walk back to the hotel from parking the car and on top of that they didnt cover the parking it was $16. It would have been nice to have known this before hand. There was an awful smell in the elevator. The bed they are claiming is a queen size bed when it is actually a full size bed. The toilet ran all night, the frig compressor was going out and made a noise all night. The love seat in the room had not been clean in yrs along with the rest of the room, the tub was dirty had to clean it before using it, and the wall covering for the shower was screwed on I guess the glue had checked out. If I hadnt go in so late I would have gone to another hotel but I was to tired to deal with it at that point. I like staying at comfort inns but will not ever stay at this one again or recommend this one to anyone. I hope someone from corporate see this and contacts me because other wise I will never stay in another one of their hotels. The people that are saying this is a clean place must be use to staying at a run down motel and this was a big expense for them, I hate to say it but I think they need their money back as they were ripped off for not knowing better.
