Wonderful place with amazing staff. The food is delicious-they have a vegan menu. The bartenders are so friendly and the desk staff was really helpful. The rooftop bar is really cute too.

I love this place! Super impressed, with the food, off the chart cocktails and great service. I can’t express how much we enjoyed our time there! Next time you are in NOLA check this spot out, and don’t miss the Happy Hour … the nighthawk dumplings! Yum! I could eat 10 of them right now! Delish! And the “porch light “ … I could have these for the rest of my life … anyone who walked up to the bar when I was sitting there I sold them on how in love I was with this divine drink.

What an awesome experience staying at this amazing hotel in New Orleans! Such a perfect place to stay when visiting this city! The staff were amazing, the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming and it is such a quaint little hotel! I would highly recommend this hotel for someone looking for a perfect get away without all the fancy amenities of a 5 star hotel! I would definitely stay here again! Only 35 rooms makes it cozy and inviting!

I loved this place! I got the honeymoon suite and it was absolutely beautiful. Plus the location is GREAT!

Ill never come here again the staff is very rude and racist and they have roaches.

Modern hotel with two bars and Cafe. My stay was only supposed to be a passing overnight, but the unexpected offerings made my stay an awesome one. The front desk staff was helpful and courteous. The room was spacious and had everything I needed. The ambiance was lively but relaxing. I would definitely stay here again.

We got this hotel for a great price due to the time of year (August). It's in a great location close to everything. The bus and tram lines are two blocks away. As for the room, they are quite small but arranged nicely. The AC was highly needed and worked perfectly the whole time. The hotel has a rooftop bar which is very nice as well.

I stayed at this hotel a few years back I must say what an amazing experience the room was very beautiful and clean the person at the front desk always knew my name and asked me for anything that I need even brought me a pop to my room. Great coffee for the morning. The rooftop is amazing! I would most definitely love to stay here again.

Nice place with friendly staff. Small upgrades would make this place a five. Our room was nice but needs minor repairs throughout… the hooks in the wall are loose and they are the only source of storage. No fridge and we had to travel to third floor for ice. Overall it was a nice stay.

This is a quaint, hipster-feeling hotel that has a certain charm that shines through some of its flaws. Really, my only complaints are little fit and finish details. The garment hangers on the main wall of our room were loose and not-so-confidence-instilling; and the water to our sink didn't get much colder than room temp — though there is an ice machine on site, and the hotel provides an ice bucket. Additionally, a rainwater-style shower makes for an interestingly modern room that already feels like it belongs in a warehouse district loft.

Wonderful place to stay in downtown New Orleans. Amazing hospitality at this super chic boutique hotel—loved the showers and bathrooms in my suite. Highly recommended.

Quaint and classy. The hotel is beautiful but still comfortable and accommodating. My room was neat with a shower built for more than one. Wish I had more time to spend at the bar and in my room. My favorite part was the real room key and the staircase.

The hotel was definitely as advertised. Rooms were quite cozy and a bit tight, bed was very comfortable. A different set up for the type of hotel but a great stay and recommendation. Staff was helpful. Rooftop bar is a nice spot to relax and grab a drink or just chill. Hotel is located on a side street close walk to French quarters and downtown attractions.

You can absolutely not beat the location of this hotel. We loved that it was within walking distance to the French Quarter but being in the neighboring Central Business District was nice because it was quieter and away from the business. Still walking distance to Canal Street restaurants and shops and everything the French Quarter has to offer. We also walked from the hotel to the WW2 Museum and it was an easy walk. The location is perfection! The hotel itself is super cool with cute/funky decor and a laid back vibe. It's a very small boutique hotel and the front desk staff were very friendly. We traveled to New Orleans in early June and it was very hot, so we appreciated that the air conditioning in the rooms worked really well. The room itself was spacious (we booked the Classic Room with the King Bed) and clean. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 was that in the 3 nights we stayed at the hotel, we did not have one visit from housekeeping to change the linens or give us more towels. We did leave for the day by 9am twice so there was plenty of opportunity to come to our room for service. We did also leave the "service needed" door sign out when we left but never got service. It wasn't a huge deal, but I thought that it was the one negative I was left with in an otherwise great stay. We didn't desperately need anything, otherwise we would have called.

Great room for the price. Decor was rustic with high ceilings. Good shower. Bar downstairs. Currently only serving vegan food. Walking distance to restaurants.

The hotel was very nice. The room we where in was a little on the small size but the bed was VERY comfy I think they use Casper mattresses. The only thing I didn't like was the bar. The bartender was great but those drinks where strange. Just not my thing. Anyway overall very nice.

If I lived in town I would hang out at this bar, it has a great vibe and the service was decent enough. The hotel itself seems like an afterthought. The advertised espresso service was non existent. The rooms were cute but already showing signs of delayed upkeep, with missing hooks, chipped paint, non-functional shower heads, etc. By booking through their website we appear to have paid more than what we would have paid if we had gone through a travel service, which is lame. I won't stay here again, I recommend you look elsewhere.

Great place to stay in NOLA. Close to the French Quarter, but far enough that noise isn't an issue for sleeping. I liked the unique design and feel of the place. Felt like an "inn. " Nice and quaint esp. After a day in the crazy city that is New Orleans. Internet, tv, air conditioning/heating all were superb. Bed was clean and extremely comfortable. While housekeeping did a great job the whole place could use a deep clean. The shower walls and behind the sink looked dirty and the floor was dusty. I wouldn't walk barefoot on it. The wooden pallet in the shower kind of grossed me out as I'm sure the water beneath the pallet was nasty. Also there is no iron or coffee pot in the room. There is a cafe / bar in the main building so there's that. The rooftop bar is really cool and relaxing. I liked the hanging lights. Check in/out was a breeze and everyone was welcoming. I would stay here again, enjoyed my stay.

Went to the rooftop for drinks. Not as tall as the other surrounding rooftop bars, but it feels cozier because it's a bit closed in by those other buildings. Great drinks, intimate outdoor space!

Beautiful hotel — but very loud construction starting at around 8am that we were not warned about. The upgraded King room looks onto a public courtyard, so definitely not a private experience. There’s no extra amenities like an iron or fridge. Staff is very friendly though. I’d come back for a drink but I would probably not stay here again.

Minus the issues with the water, which wasn't the hotels fault, the stay was more then comfortable! Beds were 10+! And the hosts were super helpful and friendly. Coffee and snacks every morning at the bar were really good! My only complaint would be the shower floor with wood. Smells a little funky. Overall I would stay again and recommend!

We came for the rooftop bar but it was closed due to the weather. But we were able to grab drinks from pisco bar downstairs n enjoy it at the rooftop. The hotel look so chic in an eclectic way. Would love to stay on my next visit to NOLA.

Stayed here with a group of 6 for a wedding party this past weekend. Hotel looked gorgeous online, so we have it a shot. I will give credit where credit is due. We checked into our hotel and were told there was a city wide water outage, so we couldn’t shower. Our option was to take a cab ride ($14) to go shower somewhere else. I appreciate the accommodation, however we did not have water for the first two days, and did not have hot water for the rest of the trip. That sucked. Their website advertised a kitchen with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. When we got there, we were told their kitchen is under reconstruction and they didn’t offer any food. If we would have known this before, we probably wouldn’t have stayed here. For the bride, we planned on ordering breakfast to the room the day of, but were unable to do that. They should have advised their guests of this prior to the day we checked in. While the rooms look beautiful, they also don’t look like they have been cleaned for a long time. There was dust everywhere. Along all the baseboards, all over the floor, and even the top of the bed frame. The wood planked floor in the shower was disgusting. It honestly looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for months. There was old hair and gunk stuck to the floor boards. Even if we did have water to shower I would have either worn shoes or been hesitant. We had a great bartender named Waites (spelling? ) who was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made some great drinks.

No closet in room, loud roof terrace right above room with party until 10pm, room didn't get serviced, strange smell in room, reserved king bed and got queen. Will not stay here again. Quick update: rooftop bar right above our room is open until 11pm. Not acceptable.

Super unique place. Loved the atmosphere. The chef makes AMAZING food. Rooms are a little small but the friendly staff makes up for it.

I adored my stay. The room was the perfect size for a solo traveler but I don't know how comfortable I would be with a travel partner. The shower is right next to the head of the bed and open. There were no mirrors aside from one on the back of the door, making it a wee bit difficult for contacts, make up, and hair. There is also no clothes storage. The hotel is modern and hip. The bar in the lobby was wonderful. The bartenders are skilled and friendly. I loved starting my day with an Urban Cortado — espresso, sally's baking spice liqueur, steamed milk, and whiskey. The rooftop was a fantastic respite all week.

Amazing stay! Young, hip atmosphere. Extremely friendly staff. Our bartender and barista were both awesome, knowledgeable (about their crafts and nola) and have great recommendations. The pork belly sandwich was to die for also. Short walk to bourbon and streetcar access. Prime location if you want to sleep without parties outside your window. The room was very small but we were aware of that when booking. Our only complaint was that some of the repairs in the room seemed to be incomplete or "quick fixes" which I hope are temporary and will be improved later.

Upstairs patio bar was great in terms of ambience. Bartender was attentive enough. However, in my opinion the drinks could use a bit more creativity even if they were just happy hour cocktails. They were a bit boring.

The rooms are very modern and clean. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There's not much of a walk to downtown / short ride to magazine. I would stay again.

A cute little hotel, a short walk away from the madness on Bourbon street. There are plenty of parking options around the hotel. The rooms are pretty fine. My only complaint is that the bathroom floor was uneven so the toilet would rock back and forth, and the water took ages to heat up. Small little niggles, the staff are very helpful and the coffee and cocktails downstairs are exceptional. I would definitely come stay with them again in the future.

This hotel was everything we could've imagined and more. We came in town due to Hurricane Irma and we really didn't know what to expect. We were able to travel with our two dogs and it was so nice and relaxing considering our situation back home. The staff was excellent and so accommodating. The hotel was so cool and lovely to stay at. Overall, the hotel really made our trip. I thank you Catahoula Hotel for the amazing NOLA experience!

Cozy and Romantic. Beautiful showers and rooms. The staff was wonderful allowing us an early check in with a 3 minute phone call. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for a weekend getaway to explore the beautiful city of New Orleans.

Such an amazing little place. The drinks and the vibe were so awesome, we came here twice in our short visit. The breakfast tacos were probably the best thing I've ever eaten in my whole life.

A lot more interesting than staying in a cut and dry hotel. But definitely a bit strange to have an unlocked alley lead straight to the front door of your room. Also water came under the front door when it rained. It all fits the refurbished townhouse style but still adding some comforts like non-stone floors or adding a shower curtain would be good. Overall still a positive experience. Convenient parking across the street at O'Keefe garage and easy walk to the French quarter.

My flight came in at 10:30pm and I had no problem checking in at the hotel. The room was exactly what I requested. Small enough for me and very unique. The rooftop bar and patio are beautiful and comfortable. The staff is amazing, friendly and accommodating. I would totally stay here again.

Great location, great bars on site, delicious Peruvian inspired food and cocktails-and the rooms are nice too! You're bound to meet some awesome locals and transplants if you hang out at the first floor bar. Highly recommend!

Loved it! This is not your typical fancy hotel. It's more laid back & it makes you feel at home. It has a beautiful courtyard, great rooftop to hang out. Not only that, but the location is amazing! Will definitely return!

Never stayed here, but the food and rooftop bar are magical. We had the corn fritters and pulled pork sandwich and they were both amazing. Sitting there on a Sunday afternoon looking up and around, listening to tunes we were in a whole other place. I imagine the place is amazing at night with the lights all around the arbor.

The seeing and style of the place is incredible. I agree with others about construction across the street. But I guess they can't help that. Room was cool, but not over the top well "stocked" as you would expect in most stays. But the style of this boutique was great. Very cozy. Coffee bar was the best part…

Wow… talk about an unexpected great night… this place is a gem! The layout is crazy, incredibly unique and just beautiful. The rooftop was the second best part of my experience… amazing. The total highlight of the evening was this lady bartender (total professional and resident badass… Bazil Zerinsky! Very rarely am I impressed by a bartender these days… I was blown away by this incredibly creative, endearing, and highly skilled bartender. And the Pisco… wow! I'll certainly be back for!
