This is one of the most Nice and clean Motel 6 I had sleep in… clean room. Very nice service and the clerk very good with giving us info about the room and whereabouts around the hotel even extra info about gas and food… VERY NICE.! I don't remember her name but she does great at front desk… Thank you. by the way very good service per the price per 1 night.

This is an old motel, had "old motel" smell in room. Toilet flushing mechanism was very hard to operate, sometimes had to take lid off toilet and operate flushing mechanism by hand. Toilet paper holder was pulled out of wall. Ants were congregating on floor next to refrigerator. A large beetle walked across floor a few hours after we got there. As is typical with older Motel 6's, these material defects most certainly had existed for a long time without attention. If we stayed in the same room a month from now, good chance none of the bathroom problems would have been attended too. Out of fairness, most of my experiences at newer, remodeled motels have been positive, other than the floors are chronically dirty, walking in bare feet leaves them black on the bottoms in short order.

The room was a good size and clean. The floor in the main room was starting to peel but not a problem. It was a smoking room, I assumed because I had a dog but it didn't reek of smoke. It was noticeable but not bad. I love parking at my doorstep. Last time I stayed someone put a good dent in my car so I was paranoid because the spots are somewhat narrow. Front staff was great.

I would give it a 4 stars if someone didn't try to open our room at 4 am. Other than that, it's a nice little motel. It looked newly remodeled. The room was small but for 55 bucks what can you say. The bathrooms were also clean and had a nice shower. The pressure was low and the drainage for the sink was super slow too but again for 55 bucks it was a steal. The beds were firm but not too hard and the pillows were the same. I would stay here again.

As an out-of-state traveler the rates at this particular Motel 6 were a little high for a senior citizen. The room was nice though I found a few bugs on the bathroom floor which I reported to the desk. I also told them at the desk about a loud humming noise that came from the other side of the bathroom wall throughout my overnight stay. The continental breakfast was coffee only. On the plus side, the desk people were very pleasant and accommodating.

Stayed here when I went to visit my husband while he was at work in the oil field. Rooms are alright. Not much for amenities but it did have a pool and we definitely took advantage of it! Wish they provided breakfast for $66/night though. Bed was uncomfortable and hard.

The woman on the front desk was very nice and interested in our comfort. However, we were only there for 1 night and encountered several minor but annoying issues… too late to ask her to address them. 1. The A/C in the room was not cold enough to overcome the 30 degree plus weather outside. 2. The room had an odd smell upon entering. We left the door open for the first hour because the window would not open. 3. The door handle to the room was loose and did not function smoothly. 4. The sink in the bathroom was clogged. It eventually drained, but slowly. 5. The pillows provided were huge and firm… too uncomfortable to use for sleeping. Fortunately, we had our own pillows with us.

5 out of 5 stars for Motel 6 standards. We stay in Motel 6 is all the time and I have no complaints with this one. In fact if I could give it a six-star I would. A few years back we came to this one before the renovation and my partner was very rude to the lady working and we left. My company put us here again last week and the same lady helped us. She definitely did not deserve the attitude the first go-around. She was nothing but friendly and helpful. Will certainly stay here again :-)

The room was great… clean and comfortable, though we would have preferred at least a queen size bed… had to settle for two doubles. The front desk staff wasn't the friendliest, but that's ok. This is one of the upgraded, modernized places, and it is indeed very nice. Would stay here again.

Rooms and grounds were all clean and maintained. Laundry facilities are available with quality products in vending machine. All of the staff, but especially the front desk clerks were very friendly… they helped direct us to some of the outdoor activities in the region. Couldn't ask for more for the money!

Love this motel. We travel with 2 dogs and the easy access to the room was great. Wonderful hotel clerk also. She was very helpful. Comfortable beds.

This motel was cute, clean and cheap! The employee at check in was very nice and helpful. Check in was super easy. The only downside to the visit was the bed, not the most comfortable. For the money though this place can't be beat. I was stay here again and recommend it.

Great price and location. We were traveling through with pets and wanted outside access. Met all our needs. Rooms are a tad small, but other then that its great. Front desk staff, Tracy provided excellent service!

The check in clerk, Joanna was very friendly, helpful and professional. The staff when we called about the TV going out was very open and honest that the whole building had gone out. They were very patient and nice about it and had someone coming to fix it. Other staff we ran into while going back to our room was friendly also. The rooms are very basic, but very clean. The grounds were also very good, even though it had snowed. The heater hummed all night, but it didn't bother me. Honestly I was thankful it worked, as it got down to negative 16 degrees. The 12 noon check out was nice since we had been up since 3am eastern standard time and had to spend extra time on the roads due to the ice. I am going to give this place a 5 star because it is so clean, the staff were so friendly and it didn't claim to be anything it wasn't. If you have gotten use to having a coffee pot, carpet in your room, extra towels and blankets, extra toiletries (more than a bar of soap), quiet heating and ac, etc. And you want those things stay somewhere else. If all you need is to feel safe, a clean room and bathroom, then this is perfect for you.

Very friendly staff! This motel is pet friendly so that's a plus for many travelers. Clean, well kept grounds and large well lit parking lot. Well worth the money and easy access on and off the highway. Renovated within the past year and has nice size, clean rooms.

Extremely clean the greatest staff! Both the evening and morning front desk ladies were very friendly and offered to be of any help we needed. This Motel 6 is the best! The price also was surprisingly reasonable. But again, the staff, I just can't say enough about how wonderful we were treated. If staying in Rock Springs Wyoming none of the fancy motels/hotels compare to this Motel in friendliness, cleanliness, and price.

We stayed here one night while moving across country. Overall, we had a good experience. Tracy who checked us in at the front counter, was super friendly and helpful. She was amazing! The room itself was clean and quiet. I felt like the room was a great value. Would stay here again without hesitation. Close to stores and restaurants.

Tracy at the front desk was amazing! So friendly, helpful, and such a nice person! My first room’s best didn’t work and without a blink she moved me right next door so I didn’t have to lug all my stuff everywhere. I just stayed at a Motel 6 in Pocatello ID and it was disgusting and not friendly staff! If you’re in Rock Springs WY def need a inexpensive place stay here!

While it was very easy to sign in, and show up at the front desk and receive my room key. The staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms are good. You are not spending 100 or more a night, so you get your moneys worth. The only thing that was bad, is the door was not hung right. So it was hard to engage the deadbolt, and in the colder months it will suck the heat out of the room. The coffee was very good. The best thing is the young blond lady at the front desk was very good and will make sure your stay is the best. After she found out that my room was like that she offered to move me as well as a space heater and extra blankets.

This was a great place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable. But the thing I liked the most was the hotel clerk. She called me while I was in my room and asked me how my stay was and offered to get me anything I needed. She told me to have a good night and hoped to see me again. Made me feel very welcome to be there. I will go there again.

Getting a room was very impressive this Lady Joanne truly touched my heart. I shared with her I'm so tired been driving since Sunday with my Family from California to West Omaha Nebraska, her personality was kind to the point accommodating smiled and waited for me patiently. Your hospitality is what I needed. I am truly Grateful for your service compassion and professional demeanor that you demonstrated with me Ms. Joanne, like I shared my feeling earlier you are an Angel you brought light to a dark evening and gave me a second wind truly I thank you.

Tracy greeted us with a great smile and a very friendly upbeat demeanor. She was very professional and got us checked in very quickly, letting us know every detail that we needed. The room itself was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The price was also right. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks.

Shockingly not bad at all! I have stayed in all motel 6s while driving to visit family in Minnesota (from CA) because I have a dog, and admittedly they make it easy for dog owners with zero hassle and no extra charges. Tonight is my last night on the road, and definitely the nicest of the 4 in which I’ve stayed this trip. Zero ick factor. Clean room and bathroom, comfy bed, fridge and microwave, and even a granite counter in the bathroom! Granted, it’s Motel 6 so it’s basic and sterile, but that’s expected. Also, the clerk was SO friendly and helpful when I called and checked in. Good place, great price!

For me, one of the most important aspects of any business is customer service. Especially when it comes to a place where I have chosen to sleep after a long day of driving. I want friendliness and genuine caring. And I got that from Tracy at this Motel 6. She was always there to answer any of my questions, and I also enjoyed our conversations. I also found the housekeeping lady to be welcoming and attentive. Also, my room was clean and comfortable. I ended up staying 2 nights instead of one! As a result of my excellent experience at this Motel 6, I decided to sign up for the "My6" on the Motel 6 website so I can plan on staying at other Motel 6's around the country during my travels. I love Motel 6. I know they'll "keep the light on for me". :)

I have been through Rock Springs 4 times in the last two months and never stayed at this hotel. It will be on my radar from now on. The front desk clerk, Tracey, was so nice and helpful. I told her about my breathing issues due to the recent fires in the area. She gave me some great advice which I will follow. The best thing is that she showed that she was genuinely concerned about my health. Great, great job!

SO happy I chose this Motel 6! Tracy the manager (? ) is kind, efficient, good with the elderly and the consummate professional! My room is clean and cool and my dogs are happy too! When I come through again I will DEFINITELY come back here. Smart move Motel 6, having an ambassador like Tracy working the front lines for you! (and she's so trim! :-) )

Very good hotel. The people (especially Tracy) are very kind. She will help you at any time and has very good advice. Beds were clean en warm. Good bathroom, very clean. Nice view over the beautiful Rock Springs. 2 hour drive from Salt Lake City. Perfect stay for a couple of days. Had a good time here.

The front desk staff members were very nice. When we checked in there was a computer issue, which turned out to be that we got 2 double beds instead of 1 queen. It wasn't a big deal, but if you need a certain setup and have check-in issues this could be the culprit. The room was pretty clean (8.5 out of 10) with a bit more cleaning needed in the bathroom. The beds were a bit hard and the shower is small fyi. The pool was nice and close to all the rooms. The location is easy to get to from the interstate and close to gas stations and fast food. It seems to be in a safe neighborhood. Overall it was a fine place to spend one night.

Exactly what you need for crashing. Hardwood floors make the place look clean. AC could blow a little colder but not the end of the world.

Clean, nice, would stay again. They have security on, which made me nervous by the guard is walking around all night, which did keep it safe.

I just arrived 10 mins ago May 7, 2016. I would give it no stars if I could. The place smells like wet dogs. The floor in the bathroom is dirty. Someone's hair on the sink. They have a tube TV from 1995 yet alone a 19 inch. Unbelievable. I travel alot and this has to be one of the worst places I've stayed at. Of course I'll get a I'M SORRY! What does that do for me. Avoid this place.

The room was clean and the personnel very friendly. We were attending a two day family gathering so only spent time in the room at night when we needed a comfortable bed and a hot shower. The heater fan was noisy and the room felt cold even when we turned up the heater all the way. It was too late in the evening to ask for an extra blanket. Also, we were promised Wi-Fi so we could use our tablet, but the second night it didn't work. However, we were forewarned that it sometimes doesn't work so there was no charge for it. We used our AARP discount and so the price was very reasonable. The location was excellent, near a Smith's store. It probably would have been very nice had we been given an extra blanket for our bed.

This motel is perfect if you are looking for a no-frills, clean, efficient place to take a break from a long trip. I've stayed in the Rock Springs Motel 6 four or five times now as I travel from the west coast to the midwest and back, I'll make this motel my halfway stopping point for as long as I continue these trips. Besides the motel itself (and it's rate that is half what a few other motels charge just a block or two away), it's pet friendly, the location to I-80 is very close, there is a 24 gas station right across the street, and a Starbucks located on the other side of the highway. As far as I'm concerned, all the bases are covered.

Lisa the front desk woman was so kind. It was a lovely change of pace from a hectic long day of driving. The room was clean and the bed was comfy and was offered free Wi-Fi code and coffee in the morning.

If I stop at Motel 6 it's to sleep and clean up. There is no expectation for up-scale amenities, food or otherwise. That said, this met the expectation. Cleanliness was not perfect but decent, no bugs or vermin. Internet did not work worth a crap — but was not charged for it. Low noise, responsive thermostat, and half the price of the guys across the street. Checked in at midnight to catch sleep until hitting the road again in the morning. Wife likes more "luxury" but accepted the better price here, and did take a shower despite her dislike of any bathroom other than the one she maintains to her standards at home. Would would stay again.

Customer service was awesome not from around here stayed 2 nites they helped me around room smelled like steal smoke no smoking room had doors open aand fan on half the day before gone olld dinosaur TV for the money they make buy some tvs and do a little updating its 20015 soon 2016

No fridge or microwave in the room. Internet of payment. Otherwise a hotel either.

The check-in staff was really nice. However… The room was a non smoking room and yet it smelled of Stale Cigarettes. It was so bad that it kept me up 1/2 the night. I had reserved 2 rooms for our trip and our friend who had the other room had the same problem. So the next day I went to the store and bought Plugins for both rooms. About $15.00 worth. I had also passed the cleaning lady and she just glared at me. Not even a HELLO! When we came back that night to our rooms, nether one of the rooms were made up. I had to go to the front desk and ask for some fresh towels. The lady manning the desk didn't even say I'm sorry. I had not stayed at this hotel for many years. The time before, all the pipes were frozen so I couldn't take a hot shower and the heat was off. Mind you that it was — 15 degrees outside. When I went to check out there was no compensation for my stay. I also had to go and buy an extra blanket. I will not be staying at this hotel ever again. No wonder they are going through a Chapter 11.

I initially picked Motel 6 because of previous solid experiences and a low rate. I checked into a non-smoking room. Upon entering the room, I was hit my an overwhelming smell of smoke and noticed several turned over ashtrays with non-smoking stickers on the bottom: nice. Next, the bedspreads were filthy with cigarette holes on both. Next, the door did not lock at all. Finally, as the red flags continued to pile up, I looked outside and saw someone looking directly into my car window (moving across country, packed full) and try the handle. I kid you not. I go down to the desk and share all of this with the girl, while very nice, did not care at all. She shrugged her shoulders and said, "Ok cool, I get it. " Granted, she was smoking when I came up to the window so she was probably really relaxed. Please, do not stay here. Spend an extra $25-$35 a night and not have a scary experience.

Paid for a week while I was working in this town. Had to pay extra for the fridge and tv. Internet is extra and slow. Only got cleaned and towels one day a week. Trash was supposed to be picked up only twice a week and they couldn't even get that right. Worst place I have ever stayed. Wouldn't even give it a star but had to to write the review.

For an inexpensive place to rest for a few hours it was great. Clean, friendly staff and I like that there is no carpet in the rooms. Only downfall was the internet. Slow and you do have to pay for it. There is a Starbucks close by that you can get wireless at.

It is a Motel 6, after all, a place to sleep, without spending a fortune. But it's perhaps the best Motel 6 I have stayed at. I liked the laminate floors — — made me feel the floors were really clean. I was really happy to learn the facility had Wi-Fi. The office staff were very friendly. I reserved the room ahead of time and got exactly what I asked for.

Just driving through but they offered the best price around (found via phone-search). Pool was great, room was clean, shower design was clever. I actually much preferred this kind of flooring to the sometimes dirty carpet you find in motels — felt much more sanitary. I thought the internet was free (unlike more expensive hotels that charge for internet) — — or did I get this motel confused with another on our trip?! — — It was a long drive! I was impressed that even for how inexpensive our stay was, the woman at the front desk had a little travel tube of toothpaste for us when we ran out. Thanks! :) And we really enjoyed the brew pub in the historic district. We'll be back on our next trip through.
