Absolutely quaint Motel with lovely furnishings at a GREAT price! Front desk was kind and courteous! Highly recommend!

Very horrible people. Very disrespectful. No need to book a room. You will be handled like an animal. Nobody knows how to take care of customers at all. Never again will I visit this low down place again.

I travel a bunch and this is one of the most enjoyable stays I have had. Lynn was very pleasant. Double room was excellent. Comfortable, clean, great motif, reasonable. HIGHLY recommend if you are staying in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

We were in Rock Springs, WY, recently on business (musicians playing at one of the local bars) and chose Country West for its location and reasonable price. We were pleasantly surprised by the cute decor and new furnishings. Bailey, one of the front desk clerks, said that the present owners have gone to great lengths to update the interiors of the rooms, and will concentrate on some overdue exterior upgrades in the foreseeable future, which is good, because some of the front steps to the rooms are crumbling pretty fast, and a few of the windows and doors are in need of new seals. Electrical outlets are sparse as this is an older building, so be ready to improvise if you need to charge your phone or laptop. Otherwise, beds are comfy, TV's are huge, and you're located within easy access of the local Wal-Mart, restaurants and retail stores. We are scheduled to return to Rock Springs next month and plan on staying at Country West Motel again!

Nice rooms as long as you don't get a single bed. The first room I had didn't even have a plug in for my phone. It was a real crappy room. I was staying multiple nights so I switched rooms The following night. They gave me a room with double beds and it was a real nice room and had a good stay after that.

Gotta say. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel. I had not one, but TWO employees open my door while I was sleeping… both within a 1/2 hour of each other. The light switch was broken. There was no toilet paper. I asked for a late check out because I got woken up. They told me I’d get charged for an extra night if I didn’t leave before Noon. When I turned my key in @ 11am, they told me check out was supposed to be 10am. Hotels. Com said 11am. Why are they waking up your customers? And how hard is it to know which rooms have guests in them? I had just driven 5 hours. I really wanted a good night’s sleep before driving another 6 hours today.

This place doesn't look like much, and I didn't have high expectations since I didn't pay too much, however. The customer service is great. The decor is cute. The bed was comfy. The inside looks much better than the outside! I'd definitely come back again. I also had the luck of having fresh fruits being sold in the morning in the parking lot. Solid win!

They were very accomidating and Friendly. I loved the Cowboy boot flower "vases" *****. Thank You Susan, You rule!

Great motel. They have updated their room recently and are tastefully done. The beds are very comfortable as well. As far as the staff goes, they are very sweet and helpful. I was especially impressed with Haaley. She went over and beyond for us. Every hotel needs someone like her handling the business. Nice job!

Super cute & have totally redone each room. Granite table tops! Everything is new. Nice all-white bedding. Very tastefull cowboy deco. Clean towels & clean room.

People walk into a motel room with either hope or fear. I felt the latter as I opened the door to mine. The reasons for such fear being that Wyoming is a dreadful state, and the descriptor "cowboy" often brings with it tacky and cheap decorations, however I soon realized my negative outlook was wrong. The first thing that came to my eye was the carpet. Typically an inn's carpet is dirty, worn, and very obviously cheap, but the floor in front of me was none of those things. After the light switched on with a familiar click, my fellow travellers and I took a cursory glance, then uttered a simple "wow. " Two large, soft, and well garnished beds were pushed against the wall. They almost invited us to rest our weary bodies after a day spent crossing state lines in a Kia Forte. Seconds later I laid my suitcase on a chair that I later learned was equally comfy, kicked off my shoes, and let my feet sit for a minute in the carpet. I remember feeling as if I was in a field of well watered, rarely walked upon grass. The decorations have exceptional charm, and strike a perfect balance between subtle and eye-catching. No amateur paintings or stock photographs adorned those walls. A sizable flat screen television sat atop part of a long, wooden, contiguous collection of cabinets and counters (which were made of beautiful, fitting, and solid stone). The microwave looked recently purchased, and a reasonable number of cups and other items were on the shelf underneath it.

Super cute 'new' rooms. Beds are comfy, rooms are clean. Wow! Very impressed with this little hotel and the price!

Newly remodeled and very friendly staff and management. Quiet, close to I-80 and plenty of hot water for shower. Great water pressure as well. Would GLADLY stay again.
